We were told the place was a great place to eat.... Well the people were nice food not so good, salad is lettuce and tomato.. Lettuce was mostly brown. The best part of the chicken fried steak was the watery gravy...we paid 28. For 2 meals that should have been around 12.oo...we don't mind paying the price as long as the food is worth it... I guess one has to know somebody there to get good food.

Totally NOT worth the money. Spent $40 on soggy old fries, cold chili, and just to wake up running to the bathroom after, with the worst stomach ache. The place was so packed it was hard to get out. Just terrible. NEVER again. My poor child is even sick!

Hand cut fries, great sandwiches, good beer selection, pie. This spot is really great. They don't mind customizing your order if you want and the staff is always really friendly. Definitely my favorite spot for a sandwich and mountain of fries.

A co-worker recommended I try George's for lunch. You know you've found a gem when you pull in to the parking lot and there's over 30 vehicles for this small sized establishment. At the recommendation of my server Tasha R I tried the Chili Cheese Burger with a plate full of fries for only $7.49. the food was great, just enough Chili to add great flavor but not enough to cause a huge mess. I added a sweet tea and my bill came to $10.62. There is a huge assortment of burgers to choose from as that's there signature dish but there are appetizers, salads, wraps, 17 other types of sandwiches, pocket sandwiches, dinners and favorites along with desserts, and adult beverages. 5 star rating. I'll definitely be back, the service was great, my tea glass stayed full, and there's so much more I want to try.

This is a great place to go on a casual date or bring the kids and it is not that expensive if you order the right things and I would highly recommend you to try the hamburgers here because they are great and also if you order fries they will come in fact they fill up your plate and and will fill you up as well and also in this restaurant it is a great place hang out with your buddie or buddies after a long day of work or just to hang out. So anyway I highly recommend this place to you and hope you enjoy.

Mom and my sister had a salads. My father had the deluxe nachos and I had a bacon cheeseburger. All the food was delicious. The waitress was very attentive to us even though the place was almost full. She kept our drinks full and made sure we didn't want for anything. We ate dessert, chocolate meringue pie that was still warm from the oven. You can't get much fresher than that. This place k does how to make thier customers happy. Good food and good service.

They are friendly. It takes a while at times, to get your food. It seems like we are unable to get there, where we don't have to wait a while for our food. But that gives us time to set and visit. So that's no big deal . Our food has always been good. They have good chili cheese fries. And their not skimpy, on their fries. If you order nothing but fries, you would go away from there full . Their prices are pretty much in the price range, with other restaurants. You won't be disappointed when you go.

The pasta brings me back to my childhood, LOVE the ChiliMac! Oh and you should see the salads they make to order, YUM. Though they are know for their burgers and the mound of fries, its the other homemade meals they offer that makes this place the "diamond in the rough" that it is. Across the board it is a family based business, serving family friendly foods and drinks. And lets not forget they serve alcohol too. George's is our "go to" restaurant/diner when visiting the family in Ft Smith. Warm, friendly service with an surprisingly extensive (and inexpensive) menu of comfort food. Salads are generous and homemade dressings are superb. Burgers and sandwiches are consistent winners. Their plate lunches/dinners are the best value on the menu. Pie or cake is a must, so save some room or do what I do and take home a piece... or two!

Everyone told me that this was the best diner in Fort Smith, but it isn't. Their Chicken Fried Stake is just and hamburger with bread crumbs and gravy. Everyone said that their french fries are to die for, they aren't. They aren't seasoned and they are extremely over-cooked. Gross food and don't get me started on the customer service. It's horrible. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

A great local place to eat. All of their burgers come with a mountain of homemade french fries. They give you a second plate to be able to push some fries onto just to be able to get to your burger. They have other things on the menu, but I always get a burger and fries because they are so good.

Good old-fashioned burgers, fresh cut fries that are always piping hot, tamale spreads, Greek gyros and salads...not to mention, homemade desserts and cold cold beer. The servers are friendly and most have been there forever. Alex. The owner, is a dear old family friend and seems to know everyone in town and treats them with warmth. My whole brood is scattered throughout the the U.S. now but when we make it back to Fort Smith, it's George's on Saturday night. It's a tradition we definitely look forward to every time!

A local hangout with very good and consistent food. It’s a busy place at lunch and is near enough to downtown businesses to attract a working crowd. Burgers are excellent, as are hamburger steaks, chicken fried steaks, Mexican items. The fries are plentiful and the best in town, Home cut taste. The homemade desserts can’t be beat. Greek chicken and the spaghetti are also good. Salads are weak, just typical lettuce with good dressings but are sides to many plates.
