This Restaurant is classified in the category of Chinese restaurant.
Most excellent customer service! The greeter was very pleasant, outgoing, and friendly. Our waiter was very friendly, polite, and courteous. He checked in on us, and even put our takeout boxes in a bag for us. As we left, a very nice gentleman held the door open for us. Our food was prompt and nothing short of divine. I expected something blandish but was astoundingly surprised at how well all the food tasted. The dining area was sectioned off, which gave the restaurant a cozy feel. I highly recommend this place for date night, even if it's a first date!
Food is always amazingly good. The Sunday buffet is very reasonably priced compared to others of the same type. They are continually bringing out freshly cooked food to keep the buffet table stocked. The wait staff is very attentive without being bothersome and they are very friendly. The restaurant is always clean as well as the bathrooms. Would highly recommend.
Great service, great food. My new favorite Chinese restaurant, for a longtime I could not find a Chinese restaurant that was as good as the ones in California, but now I found it. I highly recommend to anymore who wants really good Chinese Chinese food.
Their Sunday brunch is by best kept secret. For under $8 (before tip) the buffet is fresher and tastier than any other buffet around, and it's because they have it only one day a week. It will never get old even if I go every Sunday.
Not the Fu Lin of old but trying to come back. We just don't have really good Chinese .
It is epic and Judy is kind
Good local place to get chinese food. Hit or miss depending on the day you go.
Awesome food at an awesome price...my suggestion is to try the egg drop soup and the combination fried rice. I also enjoyed the shrimp and broccoli in the brown sauce. If you want a nice setting and good food..this is the place for you
This was my first time here. I was initially very optimistic, as it is in a good location, and seemed fairly busy. The one highlight of the evening wad the young lady working the register, she was very pleasant and helpful. The food however, was just not good. I ordered the "Lovers' Chicken", and was surprised to see it had FROZEN vegetables in it. Also, the chicken did not taste fresh at all. Next were the crab rangoons, which were just OK. Also we tried the steamed dumplings, which were absolutely terrible. They were filled with what I think was ground chicken (?) and were extremely dry and tasteless. The dipping sauce was also not at all good, just sweet and syrupy, with no garlic or ginger at all. The only thing at all good was the hot and sour soup, which was actually kind of tasty. Overall, we were very disappointed, and WILL NOT be returning. Just my opinion.
The lady at the front counter is always nice and pleasant, she always greeted you with a smile and make you feel welcomed. The food is excellent also.
This is my favorite place to buy fried rice.
Music playing (rap music complete with cuss words) made me want to stab my chopsticks into my ears deep enough to cause deafness. Ordered curry chicken. Came out 2 parts onion and one part chicken. Won't be returning.
Always great.
Delicious Sunday Buffet!!!
Great food!!
It's just average. Buffet consists of only one row of food. Variety is not available, so choices are limited. Egg drop soup was just warm. Waiter was very good. Responsive. Kept our drinks refilled, cleared table as we ate, so it was not cluttered.
I had the Kung Pao Chicken the other night. The flavor was very good however there was not enough of that good sauce that I enjoy with my steamed rice. Otherwise it really was quite good. We were surprised that there was no beer in the restaurant. Our waiter said the license is coming. I hope so. I also hope that, in addition to the American favorites (Bud Light, Coors Light, Michelob Ultra, Miller Lite...) they serve some Asian imports: Kirin Ichiban, Tsingtao, Sapporo, Tiger, etc. Sure wish something could be done about parking - that place is crazy getting into and out of.
Fantastic food and friendly staff.
I'm from St.Louis Mo. where some of the best Chinese food in the country is served. I've been in Central Ar. for more than ten years & have always been disappointed with every restaurant minus two. However, Fu Lin served me the Best Chinese meal I've had in 10+ yrs!!!! I thought I was home. When my General Tso chicken came out for the first time in 10 years I had it cooked correctly!!!! I will be a frequent visitor!
Great food and service
Good food. Fast friendly service.
The servers here are swell. I live this place. Even the new dishes I try are very well made.
I've been coming here as long as I can remember. Came with my mom for their Sunday buffet a lot when I was younger. When I come I try to get something I haven't tried before but the dishes I always want are the chefs beef, beef and broccoli, mooshu pork, and shrimp in hot garlic sauce. All and yes I mean all of their soups are really good but their hot and sour soup gives me life.
I have been eating at this restaurant for 12 years and have loved the food, people and service. On 12/12/15, I called in a to go order for my wife and I only to get home (30 minutes away) and discover they had not put part of the order in the bag. I called to complain to the new management only to be told there was no manager there. This was Saturday evening around 6:00. I left my name and number with the assurance of the kid at the front that a manager would call me. Thursday of the same week still no call back. I went in person to complain and get my 20% refund on their mistake and was told again there is no manager present. As of December 2015 they have lost a 12 year customer. The new owners and their people have terrible attitudes and even poorer customer service. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT!!!
I frequent the place as much as I can. Lunch service has always been fast. Food is consistently very good.
I love this food
Fast service and good food.
The food here is amazing! I love Chinese and love the prices. They are unbeatable.
Fu Lin used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in Little Rock. One reason was because I loved their handmade egg rolls. However, now they no longer make them and use frozen instead. The egg rolls are horrible now.
Can run a bit on the spicy side. Great General's Chicken & Kung Pao. Hot & Sour Soup was good as well. We had great, friendly service. Went around 8pm on a Friday night. Was very quiet and enjoyable
They changed the eggrolls. They tasted and smelled very odd and are smaller. Maybe the old handmade ones were too much trouble...will be too much trouble for me to order any of the new ones. Everything else seemed as good as before. And our waiter guy is always good. He's been there for years doing a great job.
Fu Lin was for many years one of our family favorites - Chinese decor, great food, low prices, familiar faces. Then new owners totally renovated, brought in new staff, new cooks. The modern decor, very restrained yet a little bizarre was cold to us, and the food was not nearly as good. But a couple of years later, we rediscovered the new Fu Lin. Still do not favor the decor. But the food is excellent! Fresh & delicious. My Mu Shu Pork was perfect tonight, and the crab rangoons. We both enjoyed a generous wonton soup. We will return & bring guests.
Very disappointed with the food on this visit, my first in several years. 10 years ago Fu Lin would have received 4 or 5 stars but not this time. From the lunch menu I ordered Chef's Pork (nicely priced at $6.50). It was supposed to be spicy but it was not. The tender pork pieces tasted like they had been glazed with sugar. The Hot & Sour soup was peppery but it also tasted as if the broth had been sweetened. It didn't taste bad but it didn't taste right. The egg roll was unimpressive. I'm not inclined to go back anytime soon.
Fantastic
Food is great & service is Amazing!!
Hit or miss. Sometimes my food is very fresh, and sometimes the meat taste like leftovers. It has not been fresh more than it has been fresh.
My husband and I love this place we come once a week for our lunch date ❤❤❤
Great food, comfortable atmosphere. The buffet never gets boring and is always well stocked with different selections weekly. A pleasant place to dine anytime .
Food was very good
Delicious food and wonderful, friendly service!
My favorite restaurant great food and service!!!
Food was hot and ready when I arrived. The cashier was courteous and prompt
Ordered beef fried rice and lo mein. They are really great and totally exceeded my expectation. The fried rice is especially delicious.
Edible, not great, not terrible. Has changed too much since the management changed.
It's OK. Not enough options on the buffet.
Great staff!
Great restaurant!!! And is adding more staff that are super nice, also they are trying to improve the place and change carpet and everything!!! Anyway, the food is awesome and it's first time I ate somewhere it's comparable with my mom's cook!!! Everyone should come to try it, especially after the new floor changed and the whole new environment get to a better place!!! So what you waiting for??? Come and get a plate!!!
Went or Sunday brunch food was fine
Friendly service, everything is prepared fresh & made to order. Will definitely come back
Great food at a modest price
My favorite Chinese restaurant... Love the hot and sour soup.
In my opinion this is the best Chinese place in Town. Delicious food and great service.
I eat lunch, here, weekly. Always fast, friendly, and a great value.
Great food for the price you pay. The best fried rice in town. They know us by name, and are always cheerful.
Great Chinese restaurant!!! New owner and same owner as Mr. Chen's. They are changing the whole environment of the restaurant to a higher level to enjoy Chinese food, and they will be adding new menu in no time, like bubble tea, and all kinds of other food Mr. Chen's has, and things that already exist in the former FuLin restaurant, so is a really two restaurant's fusion!!! I saw some people saying that they changed the cook bc they saw the environment in restaurant changed, but is the same taste, just the mind of them telling them so... Oh well, i love this Chinese restaurant and they are also gonna have Sunday buffet start this week!!! Come and try the food here, and i will be so happy if you telling me that my comments helped you in deciding restaurants and you also love the food like i do!!!
Good food! Great service!
Great food customer service and location and prices
I love Fu Lin's Chinese restaurant for their quality of food, and ambiance. But I also love their weekly buffet on Sundays. It is always fresh and a good selection. I recommend you try it! Very authetic and good.
The food was really tasty! The place was very clean and service was very good. I'd go back without a doubt.
Best Chinese restaurant in little Rock, IMHO.
Best Chinese food in town!
GREAT CHINESE FOOD.
Food still good
mediocre food. its the run of the mill chinese food with a lot of grease and enough salt to bring a dead whale to the surface. i resent eating here.
Great!
Best Chinese food in town. While in West Little Rock look them up. You will be glad you did.
I have eaten here many many times over the last 10 years. Yesterday was probably the last. The chicken that is used is questionable. I cut into it because the chunks were too big and I have no idea what part of the chicken it is supposed to be from! No meat, just parts of fat, ligaments, tendons, etc. It was gross. If I didn't get it to go, I would have sent it back to the kitchen. It has been like this several times now, not just one occasion and because of that, I won't return.
The best hot and sour soup. Mom. Good!
Food was great and while our server was friendly, we almost left because while we were waiting for him to take our order he was visiting with a friend in the next booth. He took good care of us after that.
Wonderful restaurant! Fu Lin has always been a go to for me. The food is always on point and the staff is happy to help with your restaurant needs. Fu Lin and I will be friends for a good long while.
Fu Lin is consistently great food. They serve the absolute best hot n sour soup. They've given fast and friendly service every time I've been there.
I had a great experience ordering carry out. It was prepared rapidly. The egg rolls were freshly fried, and the hot and sour soup is so good, Ill stop by there more often for a quick bite.
Great food!! I prefer spring rolls to the veggie rolls and egg rols are great!! My favorite, if I am sick, though, is their hot and sour soup!!! Best I've ever had and have been eating Chinese food for 70+ years!
Food doesn't taste the same since the remodel.
Good place nice staff!!
One of the best Chinese restaurants in central Arkansas
wonderful cuisine. Sundays is a lunch buffet. Newly renovated interior, just beautiful. Ample parking. They are now delivering through one of the home delivery companies.
Best
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Their egg drop soup is the BEST I’ve ever had.
Great restaurant with friendly staff. Their portions are always really big so be prepared for some leftovers. The prices are pretty standard, but the real steal here are any of their soups. I usually order the hot and sour soup here. It's the best soup I've ever had!!
Love the string beans and customer service
We had take out, helpings were large, but prices were outrageous. The Store looked clean. Food was okay, not the best but not worst either.
We've been getting take-out from Fu Lin for more than 20 years. They consistently prepare great food... In 10 minutes every time.
Really sad to say this...but they have gone down big time. The sweet and sour pork we're just tiny little nuggets. What hurts the most, is their eggrolls are not homemade anymore. They are obviously frozen from a box. My sister-in-laws chicken dish had no flavor and looked like an Oriental frozen dinner from Walmart. My family and I, have been going to FuLin's for the years...this is truly heart breaking for us all.
Ive often bragged about this place to others. But this visit was quite disappointing. I'm not sure who has taken over or where the original cooks are. To start, I was hardly greet by the smaller woman working the register. Every question I had was met with a dull and dry answer. After purchasing my meal (which was Combo rice and two egg rolls and cost me $12; but should have been $9.00) I moved to the "buffet" and was quickly led away because it was not "on the to-go" menu. However it looked awful. After making it home the best part of the meal was the egg roll. One I just tossed and the box of combination fried rice had 12..yes I counted..12 pieces of meat. Between the attitude of the register worker and huge box of dry rice I paid for..I could've had a V8 to say the least.
I love this place so much!! The food and the service are both outstanding! The woman who takes my order is always so sweet and funny!! She remembers how I like my order even when I don't! She always make sure my order is correct and I appreciate it so much! I live in Bryant and drive all the way to Little Rock just to eat here. I won't eat Chinese anywhere else. Thank you for all the great service!!
Great choices on their Sunday buffet.
Commercial chinese
TL;DR Review: Good food Great service. The only thing is; they must drown it in MSG, because I was completely stuffed after a bowl of soup and 1/4 of my entree. Our server was perfectly pleasant and attentive. Nobody wanted for anything a few moments after we asked. The ambiance has been revamped semi-recently too, because it didn't look anything like the FuLin of memory from five years ago. The Orange Peel Chicken had a spicy kick, the almond chicken tasted like home. Egg rolls were good but served volcanic, the crab rangoon was the best I've had in Little Rock since Igiban closed (RIP). The hot and sour soup might be the best in Little Rock as well; it was really good. Our dinner was tasty and not outrageously priced. We'll be back some other date night when we don't have the kids. If we have the kids, it's just so much easier to do takeout from our neighborhood spot.
This place has the best hot and sour soup I've had. They also gave great service and the prices are very reasonable.
I have been a customer for over 30 years since they were located on Victory street. But no more. The quality and taste the food is not the same under the new management. The egg rolls and won ton soup are about the only items that I still like. I recently got an order to go and had to call them because they gave me the wrong soup. The young lady said I could drive back to exchange which would be a 20 round trip. I asked that they take my name and give me the correct order next time. She they could but not the egg roll because that was correct. Really? What about my inconvenience? So for the price of an egg roll they have lost a long time customer.
I've been eating there for more than 20 years. Always delicious.
The best Chinese restaurant in Little Rock! You can not get a better meal for the price.
Solid fast chinese
Always wonderful food, wonderful service
Prefer all you eat buffets, but their food is good.
Kinda rude people
Very good food very friendly service
Was happy with the food, service and price.
Nasty food, and horrible service. My shrimp fried rice was so nasty, old, and had no flavor to it! I also ordered egg rolls and they were so nasty with no flavor too. I only took one bite out of my egg roll and a few scoops out of my rice and the manager didn't care enough that their customer was unsafisfied and still made me pay! Don't bother wasting your money here!
Great food amd great staff
Outstanding Sunday buffett!!
Good flavor and very inexpensive. I would eat there again.
Tried there stir fried noodles with shrimp.
Food was excellent
My family has been eating at this restaurant for three generations. This is definitely not your typical Chinese carry-out, it is a full-blown recently-renovated restaurant. The food quality has had it's ups and downs, but most of the time it is consistently good. I've always known it to be the best place to eat Chinese food, so I strongly urge others to try it out. Many times family has come in town and we have gone here simply because the Chinese food was "a hundred times better here". Even when quality fluctuated during the recent renovation (new kitchen included), I had to realize that it was still better than all the other Chinese food I could get elsewhere. The overpricing of other Asian "fine" restaurants in the area make this place a steal comparatively, and I wholesomely respect it as a great carry-out place that always satisfies everyone.
Used to be my favorite place to eat general tso chicken but the last time I went it did not look or taste the same.
Good food and nice staff! Just a heads up though... ask them the times for their buffet. A friend and I went in right before the buffet was scheduled to close and ate (we didn't know the buffet was closing soon). There wasn't a lot of options left and they weren't replenishing.
Great food and fast service for walk in take out order. The food was good and looked and tasted like it was just cooked, no heated up. Nice lady at the front desk, very effecient and took care of a lot of people at once.
Food is ok, but don’t ask to remove vegetables because they won’t!
Speedy service nice staff great food! Definitely try the plum wine!
Good food. Good service. Always nice.
I've only been to their Sunday buffet, but it was fabulous. They have the best soups and dumplings. My fav Asian restaurant.
Got it to go for family, fast excellent customer service. Ordered and was ready in less than ten minutes. Food was fresh, hot, good portions for the price and taste good.
Food is always hot and fresh and prepared in a timely manner
Nice chinese buffet with good food and a nice interior.
Good service. The appitizer tray was good and so was the soup. The fried rice was not very good and the chicken was almoat inedible. Not sure what part of the chicken was used but I do not recommend the chicken.
The food is just as I remembered as a child. I love this restaurant and will continue to go every chance I get. They have a wonderful lunch special and the atmosphere is just amazing!
They are so yummy. Been going for as long as I remember. Addicted to the duck sauce made in-house.
Good food, reasonable prices and curious staff.
Best Chinese food by far
Very nice people the food is great
Among the best Chinese restaurants you'll find in Central Arkansas, Fu Lin remains as the last original tenant (1980s) in the Bowman Curve shopping center in West Little Rock. Great for dine-in (Sundays very busy after church) or a quick pick-up (10 minutes it's ready!), Fu Lin offers great food at a great price. Judy will greet you at the door (or take your order over the phone) and Sam has been there since the restaurant was located downtown in the shadow of the State Capitol. Give it a try if you're looking for something new. I recommend the combination chop suey, the shrimp with lobster sauce (both with steamed rice) or the pork fried rice. Enjoy!
Went there last week. Order crab Rangoon and the orange chicken lunch special. The crab rangoons were super dry, taste liked they were sitting for hours, barely had anything in it. The egg roll tasted old as well. I won't be going back, spent $13.00 for disappointment and old tasting food.
Wonderful as always. I have been going there for over 20 years. Love it!
My “go-to” for Asian food. Wonderful staff and great food.
I am not a very good judger of Chinese food so for me it was okay
Sunday buffet is good. Fast to go orders.
Good place . Good taste
The price is good but other than that there is not much that stands out. The short woman (I think her name is Judy) is kind of rude to the servers and to the customers (me) and the food is similar to a lot of other places around here. I ate here years ago and it was better then. I asked my server about it and he said they've changed chefs. Sad to hear.
The food and staff are excellent
Good Chinese food at good prices. Service is commendable.
Food was good, everything was hot and fresh. Service was great, prompt and polite. The price was very reasonable. Outstanding hot and sour soup. The parking lot is a little too busy for ease of access and getting out so the location is the only reason I did not give 5 stars.
Favorite place to get Chinese food in the city!
We live in Hot Springs and wanted to try a new place. It was amazing! The prices are low! My husband and I always end up paying 25$ at Chinese places but we only spent 16. We will be back for sure!
Ordered a side of egg rolls and they said it would be 3 minutes. Went to pick them up and it took 45 minutes with horrible service and an attitude about it. Never going back
Good food at great prices. The inside looks amazing, nice decor. Staff is friendly. Would make for a great date night.
The hot and sour soup was terrific. I had kung boa chicken and my daughter had cashew chicken both of which were fantastic!
Food ran out at the already very limited buffet close to 1pm on a Sunday. The food itself isn't the best in the area.
My lunch go to.
Some of the best Asian food on a buffet! They redid the inside! Great place to eat for the price!
Food was alright, reasonably priced and the service was great!
Sooo good I go to this place all the time. Staff is super friendly and the food is always hot and comes out fast. Affordable lunch specials
I tried the Sunday buffet. I love Chinese food but I have a hard time finding good Chinese food in Little Rock. This place was ok. The wait staff was efficient, and the buffet price is fair. The food was mostly fresh, but it wasn't as amazing as the other reviews said it would be. I might be back.
Great food, especially the Mooshew pork. Prices are on part with portion sizes and conveniently located.
Good food
great food with attentive service
Fu Lin used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant, but recently their food and even prices have changed. Their fried rice is bland, they have raised prices, and the customer service is lacking. The best part about the meal was the Egg Drop soup- after I poured salt and pepper in it.
General Tso chicken better here than anywhere else. Clean, great food, great service!
Food was amazing and the service was amazing! 100% recommended! Thank you so much for a great experience
Love the food but we got stuck with a new waiter. He really should not have been dealing with large tables or groups more than 4. My family has been eating ar Fu Lin's for 23 plus years. Always good food.
Where are the REAL Chefs? Definitely under new management, and the food is aweful!
Really good food and prices. I'll be back soon.
Their food, pricing, and overall comfort has made me a repeat customer for almost 20 years
Fast service. Food was OK. It use to be better
My husband and I absolutely love eating at Fu Lin's. We usually get the PU-Pu Tray and Fu Lin Fried Rice for lunch. It's just the right amount of food for two people.
Wonderful family owned restaurant! The food is great, they take call ins, and they are open every day regardless of the weather. We always enjoy stopping in for a bite. The also offer a weekend buffet, so don’t miss out, get here now!
My office orders from this place on a weekly basis. I order the EXACT same thing every time , Chicken Fried rice with a few packets of Mustard. I don't like soy sauce or duck sauce so i exchange them for mustard. This time we go in a Katie at the front desk has the worst attitude i have ever seen. She is so rude. We ask for mustard packet instead of soy and duck sauce and she said they don't have Mustard packets and have never had mustard packets. I told her that wasn't true that i get them EVERY TIME i go. She kept getting ruder and ruder and saying they don't' have it. We paid for the food and opened our bags to make sure our orders were correct and what do i see inside??? a packet of Soy Sauce, Duck Sauce and Mustard packet.... we pulled it out and said what is this, I thought you don't have mustard.. She didn't know what to say!! SHE IS A LIAR and RUDE!!! We will not be ordering for this place EVER AGAIN!!!!!
