As you know, we don't usually bother to write reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of American restaurant.
Will stop again on our next trip. We'll plan to have breakfast or lunch. Nice gift shop
Good food and good service
Two of our party of three ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich and said it was one of the best one's ever! Lots to look at in the store and most of the prices are real reasonable!
Had biscuits and gravy, little skimpy on gravy, but alright, my wife's omlet was runny. Just down the road is Alesha's restraint and country store, beautiful southern people, the food is delicious.
Amazing service and food. Many cute and unique gifts. I am a pescetarian so vegetarian meals are hard to come , good ones anyway, but Ferguson's offered broccoli and cheese soup in a bread bowl with a delicious salad. I will definitely be back with family and friends.
Delicious cinnamon rolls and loaded hash browns. Fun enviroment as well.
Great
Fantastic lunch option after canoeing today! Great atmosphere and service. Food was fresh and came quickly after our order. Recommend the club with fries and definitely the cinnamon roll for dessert!
Great food, great service, atmosphere is great as well
Great waitress very quick to refill and get our order out to us.
Best bacon I've ever had. Perfect place to eat breakfast after spending the night on the Buffalo River.
Loved finding this place on a long drive. It's a cute building, and the food smelled great. Great selection of shoes, clothes, and souvenir items!
Over priced small kids servings had to go to another place after just so my 35lb 5 year old would be full. Small space very cramped dont recomend for large familys
The Best homemade cinnamon rolls ever!!
They have great food and friendly people
Excellent breakfast! The loaded hash browns are amazing. I'll be back.
Lot of neat things
THIS HAS BEEN OUR FAVORITE PLACE FOR MANY YEARS. I HAVE ATE BREAKFAST SITTING BY BIG FIREPLACE,EATING BISCUITS AND GRAVY, LUNCH TIME SANDWICH,and country fried steak THERE COFFEE and ICE TEA , DESSERT ARE SO GOOD. IF I CAN'T EAT IT THere I take it with me.
Huge selection!
Loved the store and its food. Almost like a Cracker Barrel. The waitress was having a bad day. Served other people first, that were seated after us. Paid more attention to other guest than us.
Nice down home cooking, friendly service and apparently local favorite! Reasonable prices. Nice distraction from driving. Worth the the stop!
Awesome place to eat we drive from Cabot Arkansas definitely worth the trip awesome food and get to shop too when wives are happy lives are happy.
Great breakfast; friendly staff!
Huge portions if really good food and fair prices and nice staff. A little bit too tightly packed, needs a little more floor space or reduce just a table or two to give more space. Interesting environment with area memoribilia and local arts and crafts.
There's a lot of things to see while you wait for a table. Even a penny presser
Food was good & filling, services was friendly & welcoming. The store has many items to see. A beautiful view! Wonderful furniture
Nice place, breaks up the drive, good food
It was nice good nicknakes
If you pass this up at breakfast time, you are cheating yourself.
Good food and service but store is to over crowded with merchandise.
I love this place. Great staff, homemade food. Awesome to get lunch or breakfest.
The food and service was excellent. The dining area was somewhat tight.
Best chicken I have ever ate! Everything may taste like chicken, but nothing has tasted as good as this chicken! Atmosphere is perfect for coming off or heading to the river.
A great place to stop if you're in the area. Wonderful food and down home service.
Amazing food and atmosphere a definite must!!!
Ferguson's is closed today but no sign on door with explanation.
Friendly staff excellent food
Food was amazing staff was so nice
Ferguson's has been a favorite of my wife and I for years. The service always shines and everything on the menu is delicious and comes in huge portions, especially the breakfast items. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend.
Very friendly people, fair good at a fair price. Lots to look at but can be a bit crowded.
Always great food and great service.
EXCELLENT home cooked food.
Best home cookin around the area.
We always look forward to having breakfast at Fergusons when we head back home to Louisiana. The food and service is fabulous.
The food was fantastic & staff was great! Known for their cinnamon rolls!
Enjoyed the atmosphere and the people were very polite!!
The food was amazing and very much worth your dollar. It wasn't expensive and you got a lot of food. Very neat place
Oh man this place was beyond amazing!! The service and hospitality is amazing! The food is huge amounts and very good! There is a gift shop and it has awesome stuff to purchase(something for everyone), it's a beautiful place. If you love good ole southern cooked food, you'll love it there. Their sweet tea is wonderful. You won't be disappointed.
It's a nice little hometown restaurant. I wish they would have stayed open a little later than 3pm to offer some early dinner options!
Had two excellent meals here while visiting the area. The wait staff were very nice. You can also shop around in the gift shop and check out the furniture store while here. Definitely recommend!
Best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had. Tender, crunchy coating. Great service too.
Great food and fast service
Great piece of Ozark history. Wide variety of gift ideas and food is good too.
Wonderful staff always good food
Great meals. Good folks.
Nice little restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Food was good except for the biscuits as hard as hockey pucks
A restaurant full of smiling faces. Really, really good food at a wonderful price.
Stop here every time we go to Eureka Springs
Was pretty good many times before over the years. We may be hitting it wrong but the once glorious cinnamon rolls have been less than worth the stop the past season. Well hope got better next year.
Country diner. Delicious food with conservative themed bric-a-brac for sale everywhere (if that's your thing).
This is one of the highlights of our yearly trips to the Buffalo River. We dream about those magnificent cinnamon rolls and the huge hearty breakfast!
Nice place for breakfast Even has a country gift store. Food was good, atmosphere relaxing. Will come again.
Very good foof and an interesting store.
Our meals were great. My husband got the mountain man burger. It was so big he has to eat it with a fork. I got the country fried steak. It was fantastic. We got a cinnamon roll to take home. I was a little dissapoinyed because it seemed stale. It was hard. Other than that everything was really good. We will definately go back.
Cute little place, love the food
A more authentic Cracker Barrell that is the most critical part of the post-Buffalo float experience. You won't leave disappointed.
It's a great place for breakfast and visiting with friends. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
Food was amazing, made from scratch, my chicken fried steak was made with an actual steak, wonderful staff, awesome environment, and well priced
High prices for average quality food.
Really great place to eat. Have been here five times spread out over two years and it's always good. I deducted a star because it takes awhile to get your food.
Good food, unique store in the Boston Mountains near Buffalo River.
Really good food. Cinnamon rolls yum yum and lots of other stuff.
Stopped at this restaurant on our way to and from Branson. The owners was super nice and has the best waiting staff and cooks! All sorts of nice gift shop items. This will be a regular stop for us when we are up this way. ❤️ Cleveland Ms.
Cute, cozy, atmosphere. Friendly quick service with good food.
We paid over $20 for these two ham sandwiches. Such a disappointment!
Great food, great service. A must when in the St . Joe area.
Good country food
Awesome home made biscuits! Cinnamon rolls are huge and they will pack to take home. Worth the drive.
Love their custom mac and cheese !!!
The chicken fried steak was great. The prices are reasonable also. It was a great hearty meal after a week on the river.
Great lunches, staff and owner are very friend ly. Ill be back soon!
What a great place to stop to eat and shop
Great omelette
Great breakfast!
Good food! Good service!
Awesome food, great knick knacks, really nice peeps.
Cute country store and restaurant.
We just made a quick stop there today. They have lot of neat things to sell. We love to eat there. We do drive up there sometimes to eat and on our way to Branson we stop there for breakfast.
Great place. Nice people. Good food.
Very quaint store, but bathroom space is limited.
Very neat!
Quaint little place with lots of neat stuff.
Nice place to have a full blown breakfast before a float.
The service was friendly, but slow. The problem was the food was seriously lacking in seasoning. I had the add copious amounts to salt to my beans so they'd be edible. My husband had to add a lot of salt and pepper to his burger in hopes of mediocrity.
Had chicken fried steak, don't get it.
Wonderful breakfasts! Try the Buffalo River Breakfast if you are hungry. They offer daily lunch specials at a good price or, you can order from the menu. Friendly, efficient staff serve your food on beautiful oak tables in this lovely rustic restaurant which reminds one of a Cracker Barrel. Since it was built in the late '60s or early '70s, Ferguson's has been a favorite stop for travelers on U.S. Highway 65 between Marshall and Harrison, Arkansas.
A great place to stop in the way to the Buffalo River.
Great food. Usually great service. This particular day we had a waitress we hadn't had before and we definatly missed the gal that usually waits on us. Food is always great though. If you ain't tried em you must try there cinnamon rolls. Mmmmm good
Arkansas best kept secret. Best breakfast ever, and Midelle was a fantastic waitress. We've been coming here once yearly for several years and have never been disappointed.
Yummy cherry cobbler and cinnabon like cinnamon rolls
We have stopped at Ferguson's to eat a few times, and our visit today was pitiful. The food is overpriced and the quality was below mediocre. The cinnamon rolls were as hard as leather and the gravy was bland institutional fare. Two cinnamon rolls, three breakfasts, and a kid's meal was $50 before a tip. If the food had been decent, I wouldn't complain, but I have had tastier and better prepared meals at McDonald's or Sonic for less than half that price.
This place is phenomenal!!! Was like going back to my grandmother's kitchen!! If you want home cooking worth a road trip just to eat here!!
Great food and service!!
We always love dining here, especially for breakfast. It's like the cracker barrel of the Ozarks...but better!
Wonderful food! Great people! Fun store! We had such a nice time stopping here on vacation.
We where a big group and they accommodated us, we got a suoer nice server who split all our food right and brought it out in a timely manner.
Friendly staff, great food, and nice little store.
The Blueberry Cobbler, Ice cream and coffee were delicious.
Great place for breakfast before a day on the Buffalo or lunch on your way to or from Branson.
Good food at a great price. All kinds of things for sale @ decent prices. One person commented that it was Cracker Barrel on steroids. Staff members were courteous and friendly.
We went here awhile back. Really enjoyed the atmosphere & our food was delicious. The textiles were pricey, so I just admired their wares.
Great place for a highway stop. Gets you a feel of the local culture. The food they served was good. It had a unique taste.
Beautiful stuff!! Worth looking at and buying!! Friendly staff
Such a quaint little stop! And, oh my, but the quilts are gorgeous!
We ate breakfast here on a recommendation from some of the locals. Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. The biscuits and gravy taste like bagged Sam's Club gravy and the hash browns were cold and tasteless. The store is nice and the staff are very friendly, but the food is lacking in all areas.
Great place to eat and shop. People are SUPER friendly.
Food was ok but expensive for quality
Very good food. Polite staff.
Nice atmosphere, great view, friendly folks, good food. Will be going back.
Ferguson's has been a classic stopping point for people traveling Hwy 65 or floating the Buffalo River for a very long time (I think Moses used to eat there when he floated the Buffalo as a kid). I've eaten there a few times and it was always very good. I highly recommend the homemade hand battered chicken fried steak. (Moses liked that too). Nice gift shop with lots of Buffalo River T-shirts & souvenirs. Hand-made hardwood furniture store in the back. Note however they are only open during the floating season - mid-March through mid-December - and they close around 3PM daily, so plan accordingly.
Beautiful hand made furniture, lots of souvenir stuff, and amazing home cooked food!
Delicious breakfast. I had the oatmeal with biscuits and enjoyed the combo. Their coffee was tasty and the service was very friendly. Their shop with souvenirs was a joy to shop in as well. My wife and I remarked that this breakfast was less (even with tip figured in) than the cost of our breakfast from McDonald's two weeks ago. And of course we enjoyed our meal at Ferguson's so much more!
Very good , great service ! Fun shopping!
This is a great place to stop for a snack or to buy a souvenir. They have amazing cinnamon rolls! Sat by the fire and really had a great time.
I had the hash brown with everything. There was more onion and green peppers than potatoes. There biscuit was cold and dry. Gravy was cold and thick. coffee was very weak. Paid too much for uneatable food.
Great food. Interesting shopping.
Great food!! Loved the giant cinnamon rolls, lots of really cool odds and ends to buy. Friendly and fast service. They even sell handmade furniture !
Awesome place for food and your mercantile needs.
Such a cute place, food was good and a neat little shopping area. The staff was nice as well
Novel place to eat, browse, shop. 2 floors of shopping/browsing. Local-owned and run. Warm, friendly, at-home atmosphere. Delicious, home-style food! Steak, seafood, sides, veggies, salads. Great stop to/from Branson.
Super great place to eat! The hours vary given the time of year. I'm pretty sure the restaurant is seasonal. If you do happen to stop by during the warm weather season in Arkansas try the country fried chicken. I promise its the best you've ever had!! And for desert the cinnamon roll is a must.
Good food!
Great food with very friendly people. The inside decor is alsome.
Another Arkansas must see and visit and taste. Awesome rolls.
The Cinnamon Rolls are AMAZING!!! The BLT was just as good. I would definitely come back again and again. The staff makes you feel like you are home.
Love love this place. It was a great way to start our day. Food was wonderful!
When traveling in this area I make this a must stop for breakfast
If you pass without stopping it's your loss Great Food and cool gifts.
Good simple food. Fun country environment.
Had their special of the day for lunch, barbeque beef sandwich, fries and green beans. The green beans were so good. Sandwich was your everyday average sandwich. Staff was nice and friendly. Fun place to look around inside the gift shop.
Good cinnamon rolls, t-shirts and sweet shirt souvenirs of the Buffalo River area.
Excellent service and food
Cinnamon rolls
Easily one of the best places to grab a good meal in this remote area. Friendly and the country store always had a fun variety of things to look at. Don't miss the bargain cave!
They were off the mark today, took forever to get drinks, and went downhill from there, food took forever, glasses remained empty, been there in the past and it was great, just disappointing after driving 20 miles out of the way, will go back, but it won't make a special effort, on the plus side, food was good, and always enjoy looking around
The food was amazing! However the service wasn't the best, took 25 minutes to get us seated at a table that was empty the whole time we waited, we knew this because we could see it. And there were 4 other empty tables the whole time but the hostess didn't seat anyone which was annoying. There were a couple empty tables but they remained dirty for long periods of time because nobody would clear them off, which if they had they could have seated people much quicker. The hostess wasn't very friendly and often seemed confused. Once we we're seated we seemed to be the "forgotten table" we had to ask for refills on our drinks several times, and it was just little things like that, however, our waitress was nice and friendly. It took a long time for our food to get to us once seated. By the end we had waited almost an hour to get our food from the time we got there between waiting to get seated and once we were actually seated. The food was still VERY good and it wasn't enough to make me not want to go back, and I do think I will go back at some point but, I was not very impressed with the service.
Seems like every time I go by there they are closed. However I caught them open and my wife and I stopped. We missed breakfast by two minutes (which is what I really wanted). It looked great. So we had to order from the lunch menu. It was very good...great price...neat store. I did have a cinnamon roll for dessert and OMG!!!!You have to try it. I will definitely go back there BEFORE 10:30 am and try the breakfast!
I loved this place food was good and the country store has something for everyone. Also this was an awesome view while eating.
Great place to stop and look around , the food this time was not as good for some reason. Last time great, one reason we stop every time.
Expensive for average food. But good service. Not a large restaurant. Mostly a store.
Breakfast was very good
Good food, great service.
Great place to grab a good meal and a few odds and ends
Great place to buy Christmas gifts, novelty or keepsakes, souvenirs, mementos.
I was stuck in the back by he kitchen door because I was by myself. I was forgotten, took forever to get someone to take my order, even longer to get my food. I could hear the waitress yelling in the kitchen for her orders. All the servers would come up to the kitchen door and KICK it open, with force, and start shouting their orders before they got thru the door. The burger was good, fries ok. I really felt uncomfortable and unwelcome the entire time I was in the restaurant and gift shop.
The only thing I saw needs improved on is the staff could stand to be more friendly
OUTSTANDING!!!+
