Ate in and ordered the hamburger steak without gravy or mushrooms. It was just right. Lots of dessert pies and cakes. Servers were friendly. I did order the banana pie. The filling was more like a thick gelatin consistency than banana cream. That was the only thing I didn't really care for.

Have always loved Ed Walker's,but this time my famous French dip wasn't so great.it was so chewy and tough I could not eat it. Ate the bread and fries (that we're almost burnt) bummer too, Everything was overcooked. Hopefully it was just a bad day I will still be back for a chef salad.

Best sandwiches ever. Personally i judge places based on their ability to make the classic specialty sandwich the Reuben. Ed Walkers might have invented it for all the way it tastes from their kitchen. Servers do just enough to make your meal enjoyable but also dont crowd and bother you. Ed Walkers is for sure a food industry professional, and it shows.

This place had really good food. I got my order in and my food in pretty fast. The cheese fries are amazing. I suggest that you get that and the burgers are really good too. If you need to find a nice~ish plate to eat isn't too fancy and expensive, I would come here for sure!!!

It’s in a very cute retro 50’s diner and the service is pretty good but both times I’ve tried their hamburgers I didn’t like it. They’re known for their hamburgers but the meat on mine was very bland both times and the buns were super crumbly. I also tried their chili and roast beef and cheese sandwich and didn’t like either. It just tasted like old cafeteria food to me. I really don’t get the hype for this place. If you want a really good burger try Patrick’s Butcher Boy or George’s Restaurant.

Ordered out today BLT with avacado and a french dip. Got home, no au jus for my french dip. My wife then tells me no avacado on her blt WITH avacado. Called the manager he said hed get it fixed, gave me a bag with a cup of broth and a few slices of avacado. Cheers to a 45 min drive and a cold sandwich. Thanks for not remaking my order Joe...

It's a friendly, place. Waitress, was very good and kept coming to the table, and asking if we needed anything. The chili cheese, fries, was good. Even though the fries, could of been fresher, and more hot. The chili warmed, them a little bit. But still it was really good. I will order them again.

The food isn't anything to get excited about, but it's tasty and the service is always friendly and prompt. It's a good place to stop for a burger or a salad. Atmosphere is fun and upbeat. Food is of good value and was prepared as we ordered it. French Dip was very good and the beer is served ice cold. We love Ed Walker's on Towson! It has a classic diner look and feel with a comfort food menu that's hard to beat. Yummy desserts, too! This is such a cool little old drive in. They have great food, a fun atmosphere and terrific service.

Visited on our way through town. Incredible shakes!! Love the local small diner feel and the friendly staff. Our group didn't have much time but the food was fast & fresh and that allowed us time to enjoy which we appreciated. We plan to stop on our next trip too. Always an awesome experience! Delicious food, great employees, & amazing atmosphere. Don't worry about parking, they have a huge parking lot. Don't want to go in? Pull up and flash your lights for a car hop to come out to take your order. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Fort Smith!

We found this restaurant by checking Google reviews on our way through Fort Smith. We wanted something fast and yummy but not a chain. We recommend the cheeseburger but everything looked great that we saw come out of the kitchen. I had the French dip. It was great but a little hot (pepper wise) for my taste. The shakes were fantastic too. We will definitely return.

I love Ed Walker's! It has been open since 1943, the retro decor is awesome. The burgers are amazing, and made by hand, as are the milkshakes! Turkey and Dressing is served on Thursdays at lunch and it's the best turkey I've ever eaten. Their homemade ranch dressing is fabulous. You can order through come in, call an order in, or pull up in front and order from your car (even get a beer there!). The giant burger is not only an amusing novelty but can feed a group!

Ed Walker's has been, and continues to be, one of the great mainstays of old downtown Ft. Smith. I dare you to find a better tasting burger served just as quickly. Old style drive-in diner feel complete with curbside service, even with ice cold beer. If you're looking for where locals eat, this is it.

Very disappointed. Called in an order to go, told 10 minutes. 20 minutes after I got there I got my order. If you had told me 30 minutes to begin with, no problem. Looked like all the workers went in break at the same time. Except for 2 waitresses, looked like everyone was outside smoking. Going to rethink ordering from here for awhile.
