First time visit building in years, it's hard to change brick! Looks same except for new bar, which is same. We had baked French onion soup which was very good, also 1/2 sandwich which was just ok, shared carrot cake(small) but delicious. Waitress was over bearing, continuously interrupting us with (is everything ok) at least 8 times, we finally started chuckling each time she came over. Price good on what we ordered. I wld hv thought she was trying to rush us along, but place was fairly empty. Prob will not return, still feels cold and sterile.

Great food, nice variety of beer and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Nice that they had a included a dark beer, even though it was summer. We had to wait for a keg to be tapped so the bartender treated us to a shot of our choice. We will return.

I absolutely love the BV Bar & Grill. I haven't been disappointed yet, and I've visited for dinner 9 times in the last 3 months. Food excellent. Service excellent. Cleanliness great, and views to did for. Free wifi for guests. Indoor, outdoor seating, and a bar. Historically unique too. Plenty of specials all the time. Reasonably priced too. I so highly recommend that you give the BV Bar & Grill today.

I am giving four stars based on my first experience (soft open) I had a variety of sampling's beer batter pretzel, chicken strips, roast beef sandwich, and turkey sandwich with cranberry all of which were great! However, this trip was the more "official" open, they had allot more foot traffic than they expected. We arrived about 530 to celebrate our anniversary a couple days early and kick off a new restaurant. Surprisingly they were packed and told us we would be seated in 20-30 min... At 7pm we were told there were still two groups ahead of our party of three, we left at this point. I had gone to the bar when we got there to get a couple beers for the happy hour which were supposed to be $3 but was charged $5 and that was after waiting twenty minutes to be waited on. So this trip really is a 1 Star but am basing the four star on my prior experience, and by watching the staff and could tell they were trying. One of the hold ups is that the groups that ate, would not leave after they finished but would sit and chat. Which is fine I enjoy good conversation, but when a place is full, when your done move to a coffee bar or some place more accommodating and allow others to eat.

We have been here several times and enjoy it every time. You really can't go wrong with any of the food choices. Word of CAUTION, is you get the big brownie sundae, be sure to have a couple extra people to help you out. It's enough for four. The view of the golf course during the day is nice and the indoor lighting at night is nice as well. The service is always really good and the people are friendly.

Great beer selection with many local breweries on tap. Great spot to stop after a ride on the trails or kayaking on the lake. It’s connected to the flagship golf course so for all the golfers this has become ground zero.

Food is typically very very good!!! It's getting 4 stars instead of 5 though because the service is kind of iffy and the wait time has been awful every time I have been in there. You wait a long long time for your food for some reason. But again, I really do enjoy going to this restaurant to eat with it's great good a nice view

I recently dined here for the first time, and I was impressed. They had a fairly good selection of menu items. I had the beer- battered fish sandwich, and tater tots, both of which were quite good. The service was also good. I'm deducting one star for their prices, although, if you are a member of the POA, you get a discount. Not sure how much. I would definitely eat here again.

Went there last week with a friend and honestly my fish and chips were inedible. The fish was so very greasy that I had to scrape the fish out and leave the coating behind. It was pretty bad. I mentioned it to the waitress but there was no offer to speak to the manager or comp or discount my meal. I was very excited to go and honestly very disappointed.

I was in BV Riding trails for Thanksgiving and the BV Grill had a Thanksgiving Dinner. I decided that was the place to go and I’m glad I did. Good food in a great setting & Fantastic Staff!! I’m not local, never been to the BV Grill, yet I felt right at home. Turkey with the fixings, pumpkin pie and a glass of Tennessee Whiskey made for a nice meal. I’ll go back just for a drink from time to time. Oh yeah, on Thanksgiving, there was almost no wait, plenty of people but it was so well organized that things went very smooth.

Got to the dining room @ 5. Large group of diners were leaving. 4 other table were there. Waited for a server to take order. She came to take our drink order She delivered the drinks and it was wrong. Before we could tell her she was gone. Waited for someone to come back to take order. Got up to see if I could get anyone attention. No one around. Waited to long and then left. No one even noticed. Where was the manager??? Went to JJ,s. Service was great and they had a lot more customers to deal with!

It could have been sooo much better. The potential is there. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and my wife the London broil. She asked for double mash in place of the vegetable medly, it still comes out with vegetables. My grits could have been wonderful if the would have started by adding salt to the cooking process. Instead I decide to just add some beer cheese sauce to it that we had left over from the appetizer, so it's etable, so waitress comes back this time and says the chef said no substituting mass for veggies, we have to pay extra for more mash. At this point I'm offended with them and hand the waitress my grits and shrimp and tell her, u can tell the chef, he can keep his grits and I will pay for it once it is seasoned.... Neither the chef or manager comes to talk to me. The waitress never brings refills as requested, so I have to go to the bar to get my own drinks. At this point the manager brings my wife some mash, but still don't talk or apologize to me, instead, I sit there watching my wife eat till the check comes, which btw still has my meal as a charge on there. I tell waitress, I'm not paying for food I didn't eat. She has the manager take it off, he STILL don't come talk to me. After we pay I get to talk to manager, and defends his position, and tells me to have a great evening... Needless to say, I was very disappointed, I was really hoping it would be better than the previous joint.

Worst restaurant ever. My moms coke was flat and then the fish breading was so hard you couldn’t even eat it. Once we got our meal we didn’t see the waitress for an hour and we needed drinks but we thought oh let’s give dessert a try and and we got the strawberry shortcake. First of all it looked weird but we thought that maybe it was better than what it looks. I took a bite and had to spit it out it was revolting and made me want to throw up and nasty. It was not worth the money. Don’t waste your money instead save some money and go somewhere else.

This restaurant offers great service and wonderful food! The prices were comparable to Olive Garden but the quality was much better. You also get a good amount of food for what you pay. My husband and I bought the sharable brownie to share between us and our two children. We expected to get a brownie and a large scoop of ice cream but what came out was the size of our entrees! There was MORE than enough for all four of us and some left over. The staff was very kind and timely. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Nice view of the golf course, server was friendly. Ordered the burger which was pretty good and cooked the way I like it. My daughter ordered the special of the day which was French dip and it looked very good luck. It didn't come with any au jus but it didn't matter to her.

The food and service here were excellent. The menu has a nice variety of options available. I had a mushroom Swiss burger that was thick and cooked perfectly. The recently remodeled clubhouse the restaurant resides in, is beautiful. There were large picture windows overlooking the golf course. I'll definitely go back when I'm over that way.

Went for lunch today. There was a ten-minute wait — no big deal. We were seated and ordered shortly. We waited and waited and waited for our food. The wait was approximately 40 to 45 minutes. Still no food. What really upset me and caused us to walk out was that food was delivered to four people who came in and ordered after we ordered, and they had the same server. We both ordered off the menu, and, in fact, my order was the special ( an omelette). I do not like this facility because of all the steps that make access difficult, but I was willing to go there because of two previous positive experiences. I will not go back.

After years of neglect this wonderful gem has new life. The Bella Vista Country Club has reclaimed some of its former glory with an extensive remodel including the new BV Bar & Grill. While most of the remodel stayed true to the E. Fay Jones design, BV is mostly 21st century sports bar. It’s very open and features a nice deck for outside dining and a large bar with plenty of screens. The menu is limited to burgers, sandwiches and salads with only a handful of full entrées mostly derived from the other menu elements. We’ve tried most of the offerings with the burgers being the standout so far. Service has mostly been awkward from an undertrained staff probably on their first restaurant gig. This should improve over time and all have tried hard and been friendly. With beautiful views and discounts for POA members you’ll see mostly locals but with some work they’ll draw others in. (They are open to the public). In time they could compete with some of the excellent restaurants in Bentonville. Sure it will take work to match the food quality but none of them have this architecture and scenery to offer.

The BV Bar and Grill has a nice casual feeling in a "speak easy" atmosphere. The staff, menu, and prices are all good. Our appetizer was delicious, and I'd give it 5 stars if my burger was cooked how I had ordered it. We will be back!
