First time here. The home style food is some of the best I've had and the deserts were to die for. This is buffet style and our group didn't find anything we didn't like. If your hungry this is the place to stop at. We were there on a Sunday they were very busy but all the food seemed very fresh. Will definitely stop here again and as you can see I highly recommend it.

It's a buffet. I'm ok eating there because I can get veggies, but a little pricey. The waitress does check on you often, the people are friendly. Not bad, but no veteran discount until veterans day, and no senior discount. Decent variety, good customer service. I'll give it a "B".

Seems to be less home cooking and more frozen/easy to put together quick items than my last visit. Something seemed very "off" about it today. The rolls used to be HUUUUGE, now they are typical out of the plastic bag little rolls with butter slapped on them. Hadn't been in years, and had higher hopes :/ Maybe new owners? Meh.

My wife and I lived in the apartment complex directly behind browns six years ago before leaving central arkansas and stopped in on our way through town. Food was so good we almost regretted moving. Excellent down home cooking buffet.

The buffet was quite the spread and the food was good. Catfish was perfect. Softest chicken gizzards I have ever eaten. Only issue was the breaded items had a too much black pepper. The staff needs customer service training. No one greeted customers when they came in. The cashier that waited on us did not even smile. I am hard of hearing and when I asked her to repeat something she seemed aggravated that she had to repeat herself. Then I began noticing that the only time any of the servers or other employees smiled was when they would gather together and talk to each other. Which was all the time because they seemed to have little concern about the customers. So if you like good food, some with extra black pepper and very little customer service this is the place for you. As for me I think I will try somewhere else to eat next time. I would at least like the employees to smile and be treated like they are glad I am there rather than a burden they have to deal with.

Well known nationwide among truckers. It's a buffet only. One set price for adults Think it's kids under 12 are charged at a lower price. It's good country cooking a bit with lots of deep fried reminiscent of the enlisted mens galley on an aircraft carrier, or US Navy Shore Station. With the exception of no fresh fruit Lots to choose from, the salad bar needs help not a lot to choose from there. Lots of deep fried foods, it's the South go figure...or loose your figure.. My family and I were hungry it was easy off, easy on back on Interstate 30 heading back to the house after a long fun day.

Very disappointed. Walking threw the food line and this server comes up with a pan of mashed potatoes and takes the serving spoon out of the potatoes and uses the serving spoon to pry the pan up off the serving table. Scoops out the rest of the potatoes WITH THAT SAME SERVING SPOON AND then puts the new pan in that spot and stick THAT serving spoon back in the potatoes and walks off!!!!

The scalloped potatoes were delicious, and the fried green tomatoes the best they've ever been. Everything was fantastic, including the southern fried chicken! Good southern cooking. It is clean, the employees are nice. It is a comfortable family seating arrangement restaurant. Unfortunately, the food could be a tad tastier. The policy of forcing everyone to walk through the gift shop on the way out is just a bad policy. The meal prices are high enough without trying to setup a tourist trap for the local residents

How hungry are you? That is the main question you want to ask yourself... If you are starving and prefer quantity over quality. This is the place for you! This is an extremely long buffet line with salad items, two choices of soup, several veggies (turnip and collard greens, green beans, mashed potatoes, cabbage, peas, corn, fried okra) then every type of fried main course you can think of: catfish, chicken in-bone and tenders, shrimp, crab cakes, hushpuppies lastly ribs, grilled fish and grilled in-bone chicken. They have a small dessert bar with cobbler, fried pies, and puddings with an ice cream machine nearby. The quality of the food is middle of the road. If you go during peak times, you stand in line for quite a while. They do seem to freshen the items up quite frequently. No special ambiance here... Just a lot of middle of the road "home style food" which most probably came from Sysco or a can. Will we go back? Yes, if we find ourselves extremely hungry on a drive through Benton. Is this my first choice? No way. There is a lot better dine-in establishments, but it would take longer to get your food.

Wanted to try this place. The food was ok but the utensils were hotter than the food. When we walked in the young guy at the register was loud and asked us "water or a drink" I found that kinda rude to holler before we were even in the door. At the dessert table there was some bowls that had food stuck on them and the plates were very wet. (Could have dried them a little). But it was ok

Good food. Fried chicken and catfish stole the show. Other things need improvement like the soggy fried green tomatoes (which they're supposedly known for being great), the flavorless brown gravy, and the dry rice. But the service was pretty good. Hostess never smiled tho. Bathrooms were HIDEOUS. Paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor, floor was covered in brown stains, and the toilets were filthy. Over all 6/10. Would come again if nothing else appealed to me.

My husband and I drove 3 1/2 hours from Rogers,Ar.to try this place out .We read reviews saw their photo's and menu however after eating there my husband was very disappointed and he's not a picky eater ,I on the other hand was totally pissed.There advertisement was very misleading,didn't have anywhere near the amount of food,it was very bland and the dessert look like it had been sitting for days. My advice is don't waste your time or money here. I can't express enough how awful this place was and the service was just as bad,we didn't even want to look in the gift shop .Just wanted to get out of there quickly.

keep in mind i am a 20 year diner at browns. my last visit was a super bad experience, waiting behind single line of 40-60 paying customers! not a double line like normal, so 2nd helpings outta the question, went away hungry! so...check to see if both lines are open before paying is my helpful suggestion. desserts which are normally good weren't browns quality. spoke with mgr on duty, he was sorry, but never opened the 2nd line up. i felt sorry for those who came for a normal browns experience. told mgr, watch out or people will be going to golden corral. gift shop as always, fabulous.

How hungry are you? That is the main question you want to ask yourself... If you are starving and prefer quantity over quality. This is the place for you! This is an extremely long buffet line with salad items, two choices of soup, several veggies (turnip and collard greens, green beans, mashed potatoes, cabbage, peas, corn, fried okra) then every type of fried main course you can think of: catfish, chicken in-bone and tenders, shrimp, crab cakes, hushpuppies lastly ribs, grilled fish and grilled in-bone chicken. They have a small dessert bar with cobbler, fried pies, and puddings with an ice cream machine nearby. The quality of the food is middle of the road. If you go during peak times, you stand in line for quite a while. They do seem to freshen the items up quite frequently. No special ambiance here... Just a lot of middle of the road "home style food" which most probably came from Sysco or a can. Will we go back? Yes, if we find ourselves extremely hungry on a drive through Benton. Is this my first choice? No way. There is a lot better dine-in establishments, but it would take longer to get your food.

When we walked in the young guy at the register was loud and asked us "water or a drink" I found that kinda rude to holler before we were even in the door. Good food. Fried chicken and catfish stole the show. Other things need improvement like the soggy fried green tomatoes (which they're supposedly known for being great), the flavorless brown gravy, and the dry rice. But the service was pretty good. Hostess never smiled tho. Bathrooms were HIDEOUS. Paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor, floor was covered in brown stains, and the toilets were filthy. Over all 6/10. Would come again if nothing else appealed to me.

My husband and I drove 3 1/2 hours from Rogers,Ar.to try this place out .We read reviews saw their photo's and menu however after eating there my husband was very disappointed and he's not a picky eater ,I on the other hand was totally pissed.There advertisement was very misleading,didn't have anywhere near the amount of food,it was very bland and the dessert look like it had been sitting for days. My advice is don't waste your time or money here. I can't express enough how awful this place was and the service was just as bad,we didn't even want to look in the gift shop .Just wanted to get out of there quickly.

I drive tractor trailer and try to stop here a couple times a year. One of the main reasons I patronized this restaurant was they gave Veterans a free beverage. Well my wife and I stopped yesterday, asked the cashier for my drink for being a Veteran. I was told they no longer do this. Strike one. Then to top it off, my wife gets deathly I'll about 8 hours after eating here. Not sure what she ate to make her so sick, but it is the only thing she had to eat all day. Maybe the custard or cream pies that were warm from sitting. Well final decision, Browns has lost my business due to not honoring our Veterans any longer. It is ashame that they no longer do one nice thing for our Veterans.

Personally, I respect that y'all try to please the masses. I have had Bariatric surgery and the discount is very considerate for old fat folks who are trying not to be fat no more. My only real complaint is after getting my food I feel I'm being watched to see if I get too much being I just received the discount. People that have this surgery still feel they can eat as they always could. It's a vicious cycle! Another thing is that the tables aren't bussed near as fast as should be. And the clever one way in one way out is a bit cheesy (no pun intended). If I wanted to tour a store I would do it without being forced. But mainly, the parking in front is Dangerous! People flying off the interstate. No safe backing out. My daughter said plates are too small compared to yesteryears passed. Have they become smaller? Phillip try to study the family beginnings to find the reason folks came here when you were just a small boy helping out the family in a then famously known Brown's of it's earlier heyday. Research for the old quality and not for today's fast paced life. Don't ever become a Golden Corral! They respect NO ONE! It's good you try to answer the reviews. It shows fortitude. But i will change my 3 star to a 4 since I see you do respect weight loss folks and your review concerns. Work on finding Brown's past fundamentals and incorporate it into today's experience.
