This was the 3rd time I've been to Benihana and have not been disappointed yet. The chefs are entertaining and the food is excellent. The portions are spot on. I like that you end up with people you don't know at the table which make for some pretty interesting conversations.

It was.. very good. I eat at many central Arkansas hibachi. The servers were extremely polite and courteous. The food was delicious and we'll put together. The steak was outstanding, the veggies were delicious and the shrimp were perfect. Highly recommended.

I was here for lunch , first of all very very poor customer service, the person taking orders is not trained to take orders properly. Takes too long to come and take the orders and then disappeared . The food is also Okay. I do not recommend this place at all, have been to better Hibachi place than this one.

We love our neighborhood restaurant. BEST of all. They take the absolutely best care of our family. We dine here once a week and enjoy everything this restaurant has to offer. OMG! Went here with friends, and everything was fantastic. I had the Chateaubriand with fried rice, and it literally is the best steak/meal I've had in a while. Only wish is that we could have had a more intimate setting, but it was a Friday night and they were packed. Can't really fault them for that.

Worst experience ever. My family has been going over 35 years. We have been going since it first opened. In fact my grandfather was friends with the owner. The owner would be rollling in his grave with the way its run now. The chief was not prepared. If we hadn't told them about an appetizer (4 times) we still wouldn't have received it. They kept forgetting orders and mixing people up. This was NOT a dinner and a show. It was a dinner and disaster. It was 3 peoples Birthday in our party and all of us left unsatisfied and board. The food would have been great if you like blan cardboard. I really doubt anyone in my family will be going back. Its a real shame this was once our favorite place. This last service was the last straw in service going downhill. PS if you go and order anything but water don't expect a refill as it will NOT happen. Also check your food my sister got icecream with hair in it.

This place was very nice however the person that was cooking our food was not conversational at all. His facial expression shows that he was kind of angry when the people at our table told him we didn't want any onions.. I was not too fond of the sauces that were offered because they were water down...Now the Best part was the garlic butter he put on your food it made everything on your plate pop.

What a disappointment.. a group of 6 of us came here to celebrate my birthday tonight. After waiting an extra 20 minutes past our reservation time, the hostess walked us back to a table that was taken- it obviously caused confusion and the workers began arguing in front of us. We waited an extra 15 min for our reserved table. We all ordered drinks and entrees, and they forgot my husbands lobster (he ordered hibachi steak & lobster). Throughout our entire time there, no one seems to figure out the missing lobster, so he just ate the steak. After paying our bill, the manager came and apologized for the table mix up. We mentioned the missing lobster- his response was "oh, we thought you didn't want it" (?) and his remedy was to remove the lobster from our bill. This didn't make up for our poor experience. I would expect better service for the hefty price with this place.

I'm a big fan of Benihana, so it pains me to write a negative review. This location, however, doesn't deserve to carry the Benihana name. While the food tasted good, it was cooked on a dirty grill by a chef who had no interest in entertaining his guests.

Our company called in 2weeks in advance for a reservation for 10 people. They asked us if we would be exchanging gifts and we advised them no we will do it before we come. Got here and no one could find our reservation in the system. Poor customer service. Whoever is taking reservations needs to either be trained again or replaced. Not a pleasant experience.

First time at Benihana, first time trying sushi. The waitress was good, and I liked the food, but I wasn't able to finish it due to the large portions. The waitress was fine, but not terribly helpful for this newbie. I might have gotten better service if I hadn't seated myself in the lounge and/or I weren't dining alone as a business traveler. I gather it's more of an "event" place to go. I loved the hibiscus iced tea.

Unfortunately, this restaurant is not the same anymore and it’s extremely disappointing. I used to go with my family on special occasions when in high school and college so not having dined there in a few months I asked my husband to go for my birthday. I was really surprised that so much had changed. There are no longer authentic Japanese chefs. We had a very young woman who looked like she was in training and was very sloppy. Food was everywhere, everything was poorly cut and we had to ask on numerous occasions for her to cook several items longer as the seafood was raw. We asked for refills on sauces and drinks and she would forget and our server never came to ask. Not to mention they now offer yum yum sauce as part of the two dipping trays instead of the mustard. I learned that yum yum is a mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup so I didn’t realize we were at McDonalds eating Big Macs. They also decided to try a new shrimp product this week as their shrimp appetizer. It looked like it came out of a can and was clear which huge black veins after cooked. Also, when it was time to sing happy birthday then sang the American version but when they went to sing it in Japanese they didn’t know the words so they hummed it while laughing. Super unprofessional. Then the cake topper, they served our ice cream which came with our meals and handed us plastic cutlery in a bag to eat it with. Can we please have real spoons? Bottom line, if I’m paying $37 for a meal and $15 extra for a lobster tail I expect to have a processionally trained cook preparing it and much better service. It’s a absolute disgrace and we will not be returning.

Food ranged from fair to good, but it's the service that really got to me. The place was less than half full, yet it took 20 minutes to get our drinks after ordering. These were mostly soft drinks and beers, no flaming cocktails to warrant that kind of delay. Another 20 minutes for the soup - our server brought an extra. Again a long delay, salads, and again, an extra. I guess it's better than one too few but really? Finally we got our chef. She was entertaining and personable, and the food was mostly good. But close to 3 hours for the "experience"? No thanks.

I've never been to a Benihana's before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It was somewhat entertaining to watch "the cooking show", but the staff seemed very bored with what they were doing. Going downhill...quality, service, and cleanliness. Never have I had to call three times to make a reservation nor have I ever seen a hibachi grill cleaned with a cloth while food was being cooked on it. Open your eyes management and please restore Benihana back to its original grandeur.

Fun fact about my family, we love Benihana. When I say we love Benihana you probably think to yourself, "They really like Benihana." But the thing is, we really do love Benihana. We go a few times every year for at least the past 18 years. We know the employees by name. We still cheer every time the chef makes an onion volcano or flips a shrimp tail into his/her hat. We order extra bowls of chicken fried rice (Benihana hack: add some mustard sauce to the chicken fried rice, it's delicious) and bring it home to eat for lunch the next day. I've collected all of the souvenir ceramic (should I even call them cups?) cups. We've been to other similarly styled hibachi restaurants and are generally unimpressed. There's only one true king of hibachi and his name is Rocky Aoki, the founder of this glorious restaurant chain. Only come here if you like having fun and eating. You won't be disappointed.

Our Chef must not like his job as he barely interacted with us, cooked our food super quick, only trick was the volcano. All the other Chefs were at tables for double the time as ours and were completely interacting with the table. Super disappointed for our anniversary dinner. If we go back we will go to the one down south where we have received much better service.

We enjoyed the environment and watching our food being prepared . Our cook Tony was neat and clean. We were lucky to get him both times. His ability to handle difficult customers was phenomenal. (Someone actually wanted him to burn/overcook their meat). There are 8 seats to a table and you will probably have sit next to a stranger but the experience allows you to socialize. It's pretty pricey but well worth it.

This place USED to be amazing, now it’s everything but that! From the managers to the cooks!! EXTREMELY inconsistent with the food! Customer service, there is no such thing at this location! The bathrooms are disgusting! Last 3 times I’ve visited this year have been dirty! Blood on toilet, no seat covers, not toilet paper, soap for hands! Complained to manager and he gave us 15% off !! I will travel to Denver location next time I want Bennihanas again. This place is a dump and so is their service! I wish I could take pictures right now of what I am looking at and add to this review. To top it off!! They didn’t bother to sing my sons birthday because we complained! My son asked me why he didn’t get whipped cream on his ice cream and have everyone sing happy birthday to him. Maybe we should ask Guirrmo the manager! Deeply disappointed!

The place was out of this world with service from the time I entered unroll leaving the establishment. I had 0 wait time to be seated. Then was handed a menu and my drink. The food was amazing cooked exactly the way I asked and on the way out a shout sir your phone. They are of the up most nice people with attention to your needs. Of I were anyone in the area fore games at the Alltel or just in town I recommend stopping in.

Food is great, portions are children. The price is normal and comparable to other hibachi steakhouses around the nation, however, the portions are ridiculously small. We got ours as take-out. Not sure if it’s this location or just Benihana. We ultimately had to get food from another location to make it worthwhile. Ridiculous.

I picked this restaurant for some vegetarian/vegan options. When we arrived we were told that they had a large party and that we would only be able to do the bar(express lunch), and not get to see our food be made. That was ok and just decided we would come back. We ordered two orders of cucumber avocado rolls. One order had only cucumber on it and the other had only avocado. Or food(fried rice and vegetables) was BEYOND GREASY. Grease all over the plate. We could not eat it because it was so greasy. Both our stomachs grew upset later in the day, and mine continued to the next day. We will not be returning to try the other side. My stomach can NOT handle all the grease and it was NOT worth the money, AT ALL. We would of been better off going to a small Chinese restaurant and enjoyed the food for less money.

This place used to be my favorite restaurant for over 10 years. Went for my birthday. The food was absolutely disgusting. Lobsters were not fresh. Two of us got sick. I complained to the manger, which I never do. I had been going there over a decade and knew most of the chefs by name. Saturday night none of them were there. Pretty sure they are all gone. Also cleaning the grill with a dirty rag while the food is cooking is not a acceptable. I am not coming back.

This is the worse hibachi restaurant that I have been to. For a restaurant which is listed in open table and has $$$ you will think that this is an upscale place. No, the restaurant is Dirty, the lady's room has no toilet paper. The server was rude and inexperienced. The chef was stupid and disrespectful, he kept on dropping food on my husband. I went there for my daughter's birthday she cried all the way back home and even though the food that we ordered were good but we all got sick. I pick this place because it was expensive and I thought that the service was going to be A+ but it was not. I don't recommend this place to any body who doesn't mind spending the money but expect good quality services.

I have eaten here on many occasions over the years with family and friends. My experience today was my worst. The staffing and management has changed over the years, and that can be expected with growth and time. The service and food quality should not be expected to change but get better with growth and time. The changes are noticeable from the inexperience of the hostess, to the sloppiness of the cook that prepared our food. The Manager was extremely friendly and useless at the same time. Not understanding the overall bad service of the cook and figuring the reduction of the bill satisfy all concerns. The waitress (Christine) was awesome and seem to be out of place surrounded by incompetent and inexperienced coworkers. She alone is the reason for the 3 stars and not 1 star.... Christine gave us 5 star service in midst of all the clumsiness and unprofessionalism of her coworkers.

Love teppanaki style. The food here is always excellent and is always a nice experience. Tonight was no exception. My only complaint would be that they dont divide the food fairly. I'm a smaller female so always get less than the males in the group. We all pay the same so should get the same amount even if I can't eat it all at the moment I still want to take it home. We had sushi rolls, shrimp tempura and drinks in the bar for Happy hour 4-7 before dinner. It was all wonderful as well.

Sadly, this experience was not one I would like to revisit but thought others should know. This was a special evening celebrating my granddaughters first child born prematurely and i, the NICU at CHOP. Unfortunately the first contact told us 15 to 20 minutes, which ended up being a 50 minute wait. Finally she gave 3 menus to a seating hostess and asked her to seat us. She filed here nails and never made an effort to seat us. The first young lady asked her again and finally a 3rd time when finally the hostess nonchalantly told us to follow her. Her curt and non welcoming mannerisms seemed very off color for a Benihana. I was used to friendly welcoming service. The remainder of the evening was not enjoyable as we already waited almost an hour and the excitement of the celebration was gone.

Very dissatisfied, our cook dropped the spatula picked it up and almost started cooking with it. If I had not said anything to him he would have cooked with it. Our order was wrong they didn't put all the food on his cart. The food was plated extremely sloppy when another cook came out to the party next to us she pushed our cooks cart out of the way in a VERY rude manner. I did take a picture of her and am debating if I should post it on the review. All around it was a very poor experience.

Ya know I used to go here a lot. But these last few times have been truly awful. Tonight will be the last time I go. Our waitress was nice enough but carried around her own radio playing music...what?! Then our chef looked like she belonged in a tattoo parlor. And she spoke maybe 5 words to us. Terrible show. The food was so salty. I couldnt eat my food. After about 10 bites I couldnt take it. It was so bad. You used to get so much food and now 2 people share a chicken breast. They changed the mustard sauce. Its gross now. Everything leaves so much to be desired. This used to be a great place and I'd look forward to going. Now I feel bad for the place. Now this is my spot. Start with the shrimp tempura appetizer, then comes the onion and mushroom soup. Followed by the salad w/ginger salad. Then the main course (steak & lobster), If u like spicy have made w/chili (diablo is Japanese chili mixed w/mayo, or hot is pure red Japanese chili paste). I forgot to mention the chicken fried rice, this is why I go to any Benihana (have it made spicy, it will change your life). If you want to party get Ichiban sake bombs and make sure to have a DD (designated driver). No one needs to get in trouble or use Lyft.

Sitting here, a full party, waiting 15 minutes after our reservation to be sat when an irate women comes to the hostess stand and demands to be sat. The hostess explains calmly and politely that they have to wait for the whole party needs to be present in order to seat. The women loses it. Hostess calls up manager to explain fully and he just laughs and seats the 4 people. Back your employees up, and follo your polices.

Right when I walked in I was greeted with love, the host's exemplified nothing but the upmost professionalism and showed that they truly cared about our experience and provided my group with a server that did the same. This place left me flabbergasted and speechless after what I witnessed. From the moment my husband and I walked in it was a disaster. They had 4 hostesses greeting guests. They asked us to seat down for a moment while our table was ready and the hostesses’ friend was at a nearby table eating and talking with a hair net like her shift was over and she was hanging out. The place has no type of dress code so everyone is wearing hoodies with their hoods up. Maybe I am a bit traditional but have some respect at the dinner table. The food was good but the rice and seafood portions are really small. However I can get passed that...what I can’t pass over is that when the party next to us asked what types of vegetables they were serving our waitress said and I quote”ummmmm onions and I dunno” my mouth dropped. Then our cook comes out does no show and no type of interaction with the guests to top It all off a side of rice was requested and when the waitress brings it out the cook tells her “ I done” so she stomps away while talking rudely under her breath to get reinforcements. Someone else comes over and asks the cook about the rice and he looks at them and says again “I done” so the waitress finally walks away super mad with the rice. Maybe the cooks do not interact because the chaos is the show. Let’s not forget that the person who kept cleaning off the table did not refer to me as ma’am or Ms when wanting to remove the dirty plates he kept calling me “hey ma”. This experience was one of the worse ones ever. Definitely one for the books!!!

Went to Benihana for my birthday dinner had reservations. They told me they didn't have Chefs in yet. And they couldn't seat us.30 to 40 mins later. Then when they finally sat us it took them forever to take our drink order. And when they did it took forever to get our drinks. And when it was time to take our order it took forever. We order white rice with our meal and my husband order fried rice my husband got his fried rice with his meal. When the chefs finally came to our table it seems rushed to make the food. There was no entertainment we got our food and it taste bland but no white rice. My kids ate their food so when i ask where are white rice was. She said oh i will get it. Mind you we were almost finish my meal . She finally brought our the rice. After that she offered me a dessert because it was my birthday i told them that fine i will give it to my kids. It took 10mins to get ice cream. I had to call the manager over and complain she was a little helpful she took off my appetizer off the bill. All i know is i am not going back to Benihana.

I was at @Benihana last night in North Little Rock, Arkansas, which is known as the River Market, connected to the Wyndham Hotel. We love this restaurant! Excellent food! Always cooked perfectly..never had one complaint and we have been coming here for a few years now. Nick and his crew of chefs really know how to cook. I took my mother there for her 50th bday. The location and ambiance was pretty good. We made reservations but unfortunately because it’s a family restaurant set up we had to wait for more guest to arrive before being seated. When only one guest showed up they decided to take us to our seat the waiting Time after reservations was 10 minutes. We had a very pleasant chef named Janice who was very helpful and patient in the ordering process we then had another chef come to prepare our food he wasn’t so pleasant however my brother in-law noticed that he didn’t even introduce himself and he didn’t even bother to do so. We paid that no mind and continued to enjoy our dinner. The cocktails were really good I had a coconut mimosa that was on point the food was flavorful! I had salmon fish upgrade on the rice which was spicy chicken, it was very good I might add! I enjoyed my time here minus the lack of hospitality from the chef. Being as though I traveled from philly to this location in particular hoping for some upscale dining experience I don’t think I’d travel to come back again.

Haven’t been here in a while, but I can’t help but notice a drastic change. Could use a little more work with cleanliness. The bathrooms were horrible (sticky floor, toilet paper sits on the floor instead of the dispenser), the dishes had hard food stuck on them, and the floors & carpets definitely should have been cleaned. The food was pretty tasty. The staff could have been more professional. Kind of disappointed because we really used to love this spot and it’s changed for the worse.

Nothing to write home about. First impressions are pretty bad. They seriously need to rethink who they place at the front greeting customers. The young lady who greeted us was pretty distracted with her phone and barely looked up at us. She came off as rude and uninterested in our presence. It was as if we disrupted her personal time. She was very dismissive and unprofessional. I'm not entirely sure that management or the owner is aware that they have such an unprofessional hostess greeting guests. This is very damaging to their bottom line, which is the awesome customer experience. Their process of seating is not good either. The hostess then sits you down and does not take your drink orders when they should, instead they keep you waiting until the server arrives, which in this situation it seemed like she was very busy we didn't end up getting our drinks until 15 minutes later (at their prices they need to be more on point) the cook was nice enough and the food tasted ok and fresh but he gave us a fake name which was kind of strange to me. The only reason we figured that out was because our sever asked us how our food tasted and how the cook was and she referred to him with a different name which confused us, it also confused her as well when we gave her the name he gave us. The saving grace was the server. She was super sweet and accommodating and she took good care of me and my family. It just seems like a mismanaged place employed by a bunch of unprofessional children. I was not impressed at all especially at that price point. Overall, it was an over priced lackluster experience that left me with a bad impression and no desire to go back. If you read this review and still decide to go there you were forewarned...and it's your money.

Made reservations for 4 people 2 kids 2 adults @ 6:30 arrived 15mins early checked in and sat in lobby by a door and it was cold for about 20mins. When the lady finally called are party we were taken to a table and aat there another 25mins before any service. Kids hungry I'm thirsty, my wife is fustrated but why leave we waited this long of time. Great food just did not appreciate the wait of service no one acknowledge us very rude and poor service. Very shocked about it due to the popularity of the place. Really Benihana really. That's my tip for the owner, waiters, servers, seaters, please have better service next time if there is a next time. What a way to celebrate my son birthday with it being his first time here. Sad very sad. But we did have a great server thank you to that!!!!!!!

We waited patiently on the next seating but couldn't help notice the carpet in front of the hostess station hadn't been swept in several days. There was a large old spider web under a bench and there was a hole in the ceiling which was patched with tape that was peeling away. My wife really wanted to have lunch their. So we waited. Upon. This happens from time to time with great popular restuarants like this one. They were booked during the holidays for an office party and they were seeing the usual patrons for lunch hour. We wanted a quick lunch here, not a good idea. It is a great place but not for a quick meal. Go here with an hour to 2 hours of time to spend. Great atmosphere food and courtesy but no a fast food stop.

My family have been going here for my mother's birthday for about 10 years. Not sure if they're under new management, but this year was not good at all. Eight out of nine of us had to get real cozy with the commode. We're guessing it was their "new" shrimp because the cook informed us they were trying a different shrimp and wanted our opinion. Since my son doesn't eat shrimp, he was the only one not affected. The rest of our experience was good, but the bathroom became too familiar for a couple hours.

Growing up, the Benihana in Cherry Hill was a mainstay in our family. Food used to be great. Now the food is subpar more than most times. Service is horrible. The place was near empty and it took 2 hours to get our food. Steak mostly fat and was served bad chicken last time I was here. The shame is that it used to be a great experience everytime we came. No it is the exact opposite. The fact that they change the hibachi sauces constantly to ones of lesser quality, points out that Benihana has embraced profit over customer satisfaction. Maybe that's why the place seems dead compared to a few years ago.

Food was good. But..the server would disappear for super long periods of time. People with us got there appetizers after the main course and my girlfriend has a seafood allergy and was pretty much served seafood even thought we warned them twice that she is extremely allergic. Good food but yeah.

Very disappointed !! From the minute we walked in and the hostess was rude to both me and my daughter . We came here for granddaughter's birthday , a very special occasion!!! When we finally made it our table and yes we had a reservation . We placed our order my drink was wrong never got the one I ordered. The chef arrived to table the food wasn't prepared the way we ordered it, when we made the chef aware she said she would fix it at the end . Never did ! ! This is after 2 different members of my family made the Manager aware of the mistake . Our chef was not very entertaining at all and quite frankly made a couple of comments I found a little prejudice and not at all appropriate. Left a big piece if raw steak on the floor in plain sight was gross , not to mention we paid for it ! I then said something to the Manager who was very hard to understand due the fact his English was horrible!! He said our chef was from Florida and didn't understand how to cook what we ordered... Not my problem !! All night we witnessed other tables celebrating birthdays and at 5 staff members showed up to sing to that guest. When it was time for our table 2 showed up the air conditioning was blowing so hard I had to cup my hands around the candle so it wouldn't go out on my granddaughter ! Today 4 of are sick with diarrhea , cold sweats! ! This was the worse experience. My family visits the location down south at least 2 times a month to be treated like this and now to be sick from their food. We will find a new place to go no reason to eat here ever again!!!!!!!

The place was terrible. The salad had a grey hair in it and when I showed the Asian lady, she said it was ginger. Absolutely NOT...I didn't argue I don't know much kung fu. But I didn't eat it either. The food was way too salty. The steam white rice was what they got right. WON'T BE GOING THERE AGAIN. Definitely not like the other Benihana I've ate at in the past.

I am unsure of why there are so many negative reviews for this location. I came here with my Husband and 2 kids and the visit was nothing less than perfect. From the hostess at the front door to even the gentlemen cleaning the tables, everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was so lively. Our chef, Michelle, was absolutely amazing! We plan on returning for my daughter Kaylas birthday next month and she cannot wait!

This restaurant features "dinner & a show" !! Great food cooked superbly right before your party on a sizzling hot grill. Chicken, steak, or seafood .. always something for any palate. Families with children are welcome and less seasoned food can be prepared for younger taste buds. Sushi is prepare well .. Appetizers are fairly priced and prepared perfectly. The chefs put on a show as they perfectly prepare your party's meals with delightful jokes and precision use of utensils. A truly great night out at a slightly above average price .. but well worth the experience & superb food

The food and chef were great. There were two parties at our table with the $30 birthday gift certificates. But they would not accept them. Because no barcode was present. The emails with the certificates did not contain a barcode, Their software is flawed. But considering that there were two parties with the same issue the assistant manager should have just honored the certificates. Poor management ruins the experience.

Do yourself a favor and do not visit this restaurant! We have been eating here for 35+ years and will not be going back. Inexperienced cooks, undercooked rice and scallops, steak not cooked correctly. Teriyaki steak was served without scallions or teriyaki sauce. If you are looking for a Japanese experience, this is not it.

I usually love Benihana, however today not so much. Went to restroom door slammed on my shoe making my shoe rip leaving me with no left shoe.They offered $20 buck off bill. We upgraded our rice to Chicken rice got no chicken. Got new order with chicken however it was extra salty and loads of pepper. As we were talking out me with only a half of a shoe the two receptionists were just laughing. I’ll never go back to this Benihana’s.

The restaurant has been recommended by friends and we went together to celebrate a birthday of my wife. First thing we found in the menu was the price of Hibachi ~40$ a plate which is OK if the food is extraordinary. So we all order hibachi. The time came and cook has arrived. She was everything else but not a show women and someone who can make you feel special. So we waited for the show to begin... That show never began. Sometime at the end when the cook started serving the entree my friend asked her when the show will begin... The cook was rude enough to tell her that she was not watching and that why the cook did not do the show. The cook continued to put rude jokes, which everyone in the table politely accepted, but all of us was waiting for all that to end. At the end of this story I will tell you that I expected the food to be amazing for 40$ a plate, but guess what???? The food tasted just like a basic hibachi with fried rice and some seafood on the grill. I have been in the other Hibachi places around which are with more reasonable prices and they are far more delicious. My family will never repeat a visit to this restaurant. Hm... something which we also remember is that at the end when there was empty plates the server came to take a picture of us upfront of empty and dirty dishes, so just as a suggestion to the management. If you want to make someone looks special take a picture with full plates so you can show the food you are serving. Not at the end when no one cares anyway.

This place is most fun with a group. Benihana has been around quite some time. If you are unfamiliar, your food is prepared in front of you on a grill. I think they use the same jokes they used in the 70's. The hibachi cook will ask about allergies first thing, and they do a great job keeping allergens separate. The menu is mostly American with a little Asian style thrown in. The menu is somewhere on the border of "classics" and outdated. They have some very good cocktails. Be sure to make reservations. You can eat in the bar if the dining room is full, but you don't get the show, and the food wasn't quite as good in my experience (I ate once in the bar, and another night in the dining room). Overall a good experience.

I like this restaurant. The servers are attentive and the cooks are truly talented. My children & I asked for our steaks to be cooked to 'medium' on the grill and he still prepared ours 'well done'. I really don't know how to take it. We were adamant about how we wanted it prepared & he repeated our request to us before starting. This restaurant has the very best fried rice...hands down. I also had a benihana breeze and it was adequate (plus you get to keep the glass). The restuarant did let us cut my birthday cake after the meal was served and provided us with to-go containers. If you have a party of 10, they will add gratuity to the ticket and my husband accidentally tipped on top of that amount.

You can taste the sadness of the chefs in the back. It tastes like disappointment and old fish. I was hoping at least the sushi would be good but I've had better sushi at King Soopers. I mean the sushi rice was dry, and the fish was super old. One of my pieces you can tell the fish was sitting out all day because you could see this distinct ring of dryness around the fish.

Seating kinda sucks when stuck with kids at an adult birthday dinner. Didnt even think they would have sat us next to kids. The waiter was good. Our chef kinda slacked. Was a disappointing show for sure. All he did was a halfass volcano and bang his spatula around. Wasnt a fan of he cut raw chicken, lobater,shrip and then cut my beef with the same unsanitary knife. Dropped a can of oil that splashed oil all over a friends nice shirt and ruined it with oil stains. The Japanese Hibachi culture wasn't present. All American cooks not Japanese. Although the cooks are nice and professional they are not skilled chiefs like most Japanese Hibachi. Little to no tricks provided. They feed two people at the table at a time while other people wait for their food. It took 3 hours for the cook to finish cooking because lack of preparation. They gave me rice on the side and charged $3.90 extra if you wanted rice fried hibachi like the rest of the food. The cook added about 4 cups of butter to avoid burning food instead of turning the burner down. We were a party of but12 with two tables and 4 out of 12 people from our tables were sick the next 2 days.

Came here on June 11th for my sister's bit birthday. It's was 4 of us and we were seated with 2 grumpy old men. Plates were dirty and waitress act like she was annoyed. She took our drink orders and it took 15 minutes for her to come back. No alcohol for us just the 2 grumpy old men. Waitress ran away quickly. Note: it's wasn't crowded. Waitress comes back and takes our food order. 1 grumpy old man couldn't decide what to eat so he held up everyone's order. 10 minutes to order.

Always love this place. Came in on a Wednesday were sat immediately, but waited quite a while for our chef. We were done with all of our apps, soup, salad and first round of drinks before our chef showed up. We were there to celebrate our wedding that took place that very day and sadly the only person that said congratulations was our server. I would say our experience was less than one star, we went to celebrate our daughters birthday and had a reservation, the front staff is so rude it took forever to get seated. The chef refused to cook our food the way we asked and the next day we were all sick. I think the chicken and shrimp was undercooked. I live 15 mins from this location and will ALWAYS go to Denver location. The manager did do his best to make it right but other then him this location is awful.

Our hosts didn’t pay attention to our reservation, they didn’t count our toddler as a diner so she was sat in a high chair behind me instead of at the table as we reserved. She sat on my lap to eat her dinner and I had to take my own food Togo. Our server was not attentive and brought our appetizer out ice cold which is pan fried dumplings usually served hot. We couldn’t bring anything to her attention since the only other time we saw her was during our entree when we finally received our soup and salad. Overall not our best experience for what you pay. We will return but not to this location.

Came here on a Wednesday night. We arrived at 7pm. Hostess asked if we had a reservation. We said no. She said ok give me a a few minutes. We we're a party of 2. We sat down and waited. We waited for 40 min. No one said your table will be ready in a bit. There was another two ladies that arrived before us and were still waiting after we left. Another couple arrived at the hostess counter and were standing there waiting for someone to great them. No one came for over 5 minutes. We walked out after 40 min and left two people standing at counter and 2 people waiting for hibachi. Unacceptable for a Wednesday night and there were tables open. Also poor communication from a hostess not saying anything to us while we wait. I won't be returning to this location.

Let me start with the good. Our chef was awesome and very accommodating. I have a shrimp allergy so I asked what I could substitute several times for that appetizer. They finally told me the only options are either more vegetables or one ounce more of meat but at that point my food was already in front of me. I got the steak which I ordered to be cooked medium but it was more so medium well. I also asked for a knife since some pieces were sticking together and was told they only had plastic knives which I declined since it would not cut through steak. This place is great! We had the super unfortunate experience of sitting next to Katrina and her family, who seemed determined on ruining a good time. They were a poorly behaved and disrespectful group who walked in looking for a 50% discount (which is what they received, not 15% as claimed in their untrue review. Next time, quietly accept your incredibly generous discount and stop complaining more than you already have). Both the chef and the server were spectacular and I was embarrassed to be sitting at the same table as this incredibly ill-mannered family. You’d do well to go here for a meal and make sure you thank the hard working people who are serving you (or stay at home and do it yourself????) very happy and we will be back, requesting the same people who were kind enough to serve us so well the first time around, despite being treated so poorly by their unappreciative customers. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Thanks guys!

Not a good experience. Server was forgetful. Had to be reminded about salad and green tea.The other guest at table children were more entertaining than our chef. Had to look at other table for chef entertainment. Our chef even told other chef no one likes a show off. The amount of money you pay is for the entertainment because it isn't quality of food. Always great food and service! With a little show and a lot of talent, the chefs make dinner out an experience! The five course meal quickly fills you up so a walk around the market place may be needed for recovery.

Guests are seated around a large flat top grill where your food is prepared as you watch by very entertaining chefs. Great food, family friendly.

Amazing experience once we got in the door. Made a reservation for 7:30 and didn't get in until 8:15. Even with our reservation the couple that literally cut in front of us with no reservation got in first. So don't bother with calling ahead or registering online unless you have a large group. The fried rice was amazing as was the rest of our meal. Just prepare to wait to get in, it is worth it.

It was excellent !!! Great food, great service and super nice wait staff as well as all other employees. We had 2 birthdays in our party and they made sure that we had a wonderful night. The cooking entertainment was on point. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

First off how is this a Japanese restaurant with barely ANY Japanese workers and CHEFS!!!! Secondly this place has gone down hill these past few years. I can name way better Hibachi restaurants in the area and trust I won’t be coming back here. The floor behind the grill table was disgusting. Looks like they don’t ever clean it. The grill itself was disgusting leftovers just sitting there. The waitress came to our table with dirty dishes from someone else’s table on her tray and proceeded taking our order. Turn off. It’s very ghetto and unorganized in here. I made a reservation for 9:30 wasn’t seated until 9:45 and still hadn’t eaten even soup, until about 10:15p. They need help major help. Bring back the authentic Japense chefs! Very Americanized sad to say.

This place seemed like it was pretty busy and the parking lot was so full I wasn't really sure if I was going to have anywhere to park. I think the waitress we had was new and she wasn't really comfortable with what she was doing so we ended up with the wrong menu and no silverware and no straw. Overall for me, for my first experience it was good food and I know the waitress was trying.

Sunday 6/30/2019 at 1pm we walked in and was not greeted by the hostess, instead first thing she asked, reservation? when I replied, no. she nodded her head, rolled her eyes and said nothing. After waiting a few seconds assuming she would say something, we asked if there was room for four, she replied not until 2:30. With that cold shoulder attitude we decided to go elsewhere. So disappointing, we used to be regulars at this establishment we used to like it so much we treated many of our friends to this place.

Jeremy and Randall absolutely made our evening. Randall had some extra tricks up his sleeve and put some fun twists on the classics and did a great job cooking our food to perfection. Jeremy was a lot of fun to work with, as he had a smile on his face the whole time, even with all of our extra requests. They both do an incredible job with customer service and we hope we get to see them every tome we go back!

We had a reservation for four during dinner hours and we were seated almost immediately. The waitress was very nice and she kept our drinks full. The chef “Flaco” was amazing! I loved every minute of his cooking show and he was so funny too! I’ll definitely return and ask for him!

We made reservations for 3 at 6:00 for a birthday dinner for my son, who was also on leave from active duty in the Navy. Yes, a special evening. I arrived at 5:30. I asked if we could change the reservation to 4 people at 6:00. The hostess said, "No. We have nothing available till 8:15". When it was 6:00, I asked the same hostess if anyone had cancelled so we could add the 4th to our party. She asked, "Are they here?", and I told her not at the moment, but they would be here shortly. She told me she could add the 4th and rolled her eyes with an attitude of indignation. I stood there for a brief second wondering if I did something to offend her. I walked over to the bar and waited for them to call us. Around 6:15, I walked back up to the hostess and asked if we were going to be seated. She asked, "Are all of your parties her?" I said no, but we're ready to be seated. The 4th was running a little late. Then the hint of indignation that I thought was there exploded. She said, "Are you going to order for them?" I told her I would. She asked, "Are you going to call them right now?" What?! I asked if I did something wrong to offend her. She said said no. I told her I didn't appreciate her attitude. She said, "I don't have an attitude", which was said with more attitude. I walked back to the bar and waited to be seated. Evidently, reservations for 6:00 do not mean you are seated at 6:00, more like 6:20. This exchange is what started the dining experience. Come to find out the table wasn't full. There were two open spots!! It doesn't matter what the rest of the dining experience was. This is what we'll remember. If the manager reads this. It was table 10/1. I seriously doubt we will be back. For around $200 for 4 people, I can get a better experience elsewhere.

Awful experience. Ignorant staff. Called in specifically to make a reservation for my 13 year old sister's birthday, told them twice when we arrived, they remembered the birthday of the people at our table who came without reservations but not hers. Overpriced for the amateur level of the hibachi cook. I feel my family was scammed out of $200, we are never going to this place again.
