The food was bad. The place needed pressure washing it was nasty. The help didnt look much better. Its time they close there doors. One waitress wiped her nose then touched the flatware I was thinkung its flu season and thats just GROSS!

Great old fashioned atmosphere. Friendly service. Barnhill's has standard hours but are affected by holidays just like their food and prices. They're weird price fluctuation is getting a little unnerving. Great family place to eat with your kids or if you're just out with a friend or by yourself it's a good place to come in and fill up then roll out!

We haven't eaten here in some time. The southern food is still great. The wait staff were on point friendly and helpful. The supper meal price is right at $11 for an adult all you can eat restaurant. It won't be long until we are back !

We had great service from a sweet waitress. There was a wide variety of food. From 1 time to the next, certain foods are good or bad. I don't know if it's due to a different chef or what. The catfish is the case with as well as the cabbage, roast beef and chili. The bathrooms are disgusting. Ask for Annette.

The food is good, but the wait staff is very slow. It takes a long time to get a refill on my drink. They're usually very nice though. I wish they had napkin dispensers at the table or the wait staff could bring napkins when they bring our drinks and straws to the table. But no, if you forget to grab napkins at the counter then you have to get up again. I know I am lazy, hahaha. There are also no condiments at the table like ketchup, tabasco sauce, and steak sauce. They're on the counter where they keep the napkins... smh.

I did NOT enjoy this buffet. This place is good for those that dont desire any seasoning (or taste for that matter) or are diabetics, as they offer a nice bit of sugar free options. Unfortunately, I will not be visiting this place anymore.

Barnhill's, just another run down, dirty buffet that fits in with the rest here in Jonesboro. We ate at Barnhill's for the first and last time today. We got there at 5:40 pm and while we were walking in, there were employees out front having a smoke break who stared us down and were obviously disgruntled and mumbling to each other about customers (us, as we were walking in). They made me feel uneasy but we went ahead and gave Barnhill's a try. Every single employee inside the restaurant had the same nasty and rude demeanor towards the customers. The employees from the kitchen scowl at you while you're getting food. I felt intimidated by the employees from the moment we were walking in, while paying for our meal and when I went to the buffet to get food. Why would we ever go back to a restaurant were the people who work there make you feel threatened just for being there? We won't. The food quality was almost as bad as the service. It was cold or dried out and old, or both. Dessert bar?? Hah, if you consider runny soft serve ice cream, dessert and there was some week old cookies too. May favorite part of the dessert bar, was all the duct tape holding it together; literally. The plates were stacked sopping wet straight out of the dishwasher so you either had to bring a napkin to the buffet and wipe them off first or you had to try to sling the water off the plate before you put food on it. These are the reasons the place was dead slow when we got there at dinner time and hardly anyone came in while we were there. Bottom line, Barnhill's is a run down, dirty establishment with the worst service in town and their food sucks.

Some servers are pretty good. And some you get to see once while your there. And they just never seem happy to be there. Or mad at the world.

One of the biggest and best buffets in Northeast Arkansas. Always has southern foods such as fried chicken, catfish, potatoes and gravy, fried okra, and even steaks and ribs. The place is always very busy so the food stays fresh and large enough you never have to wait.

We went there about 45 minutes before closing. My guests were running late. But they were very nice and hospitable. The food was very delicious, except for the fish. It had a wild nasty taste. But a world of other items to choose from. Great place to eat. Very nice folks. Took good care of us.

Haven't ate at Barnhill's since a child. The food was as I remembered.. pretty good with a variety. My waitress was Trina. She made my 3 children and I comfortable. She constantly checked on us and our drinks for refills also. She is a great waitress. I will visit again and I would also recommend Barnhill's and Trina as a preferred waitress.

Nice buffet if you're looking for comfort food. The fish is usually always good, and while the chicken can be hit or miss, most of the other meats and sides available are great as well. The variety of foods on the bars is a bit thin, but if you're in the mood for what they have available, it's always good food. In my experience, the staff has always been good about refills and checking on us, and been very friendly. If you're looking for a good family environment with a cheap but quality buffet, Barnhill's is a good choice.

We went about an hour before closing and the food was all old, the tea was nasty, the bathrooms was disgusting, had to ask for a refill multiple times and they started breaking down all of the buffet as soon as we sat down! Definitely won't go back!

We took our grandkids and great-grandkids to Barnhills in Jonesboro, Ar and they all loved it. All the food was so good and some of the grandsons had three helpings of different things! Planty of delicious desserts to choose from. Our server was excellent keeping everyone refilled on their drinks. I asked for separate room since there were so many of us which they accomadated us with. We did not walk away hungry at all. I would definitely recommend going it was excellent!!!

Discusting, rotten-smelling food! It made my friend so sick she threw up at the restaurant. A worker was twirling her hair directly over the food. The food was way too soggy, or too dry. The steak was ok, but very peppery. Also, we arrived and left to workers smoking right outside the entrance. I could smell cigarette smoke throughout the restaurant as well. On a positive note though, the blackberry cobbler was good, and our waitress was nice.

Before we moved down to Jonesboro, our favorite place to go as a family was Golden Corral. This place is so much better! Love all the seafood options and I love that they had red beans and rice. Only downfall is, no steak. At least, they didn't have steak the night we went there. But we will definitely be back !

I have eaten here before and the food was decent. This time the food was dried out and the other parts were undercooked. The staff were exceptionally rude. The floor was dirty and furniture had cuts in the coverings. Overall very disappointing. At least they did not screw up the icecream

The booths were beyond filthy. Where the table top was connected to the wall and the floor along the wall was packed with what had at one time been food but had obviously been there for several days or longer. The cooks also have long since stopped caring about the quality of the food they prepared. The cabbage was boiled with zero seasoning, not even salt. The liver was so over cooked it was black and could not be cut with a knife, The Mac and cheese was watered down and tasteless, the fish was overcooked in old oil and was so brittle it would just shatter when you cut into it. All of the fruit on the salad bar was rotting and the salad add on's were old and dried up. The corn and beans tasted as if they were dumped straight from the cans into the steam table. The "steamed"broccoli was so soggy you had to pick it up and wring the water out of it with the tongs and it was just spongy. We tried almost everything on the buffet but couldn't find anything fit to eat . We arrived at approximately 11:50am so there was no excuse for old food to be put out on the buffet. So Disappointing as this used to be such a good place to eat.
