Great BBQ and we had great service. Came in for Saturday lunch and had a brisket sandwich, beans, and corn; delicious! Could not get enough of the brisket and the beans. Co worker had the chicken basket and said it was delicious as well. Inside was clean and all the tables etc seemed relatively new. Almost drove right past the place though; the sign for the place is just painted on the wall of the restaurant. Definitely will come back!

The only reason they stay in business is because their food is exceptional. They make it hard to conduct business with them due to the fact that they aren't open when they're supposed to be. The best about this place, bar none, is the smoke. Barbaque is nothing without the proper smoke, and this place is got it down. The sauce is also great. Besides the bbq, the fries are steak cut, and cooked to perfection. Drinks are diverse, and come with shaved ice, a definite plus. The pies are a wonderful addition to any meal. Overall, fantastic place. The only true failure is the service. Can be slow, sometimes unbarably so. Freindlyness is a plus, but doesn't keep me full if my food is late.

Four sandwiches took 1 hour. Food was solid but I’ve never waited so long for BBQ in my life. The table next to us took an hour plus for a grilled cheese.

This is the best food in Arkansas hands down! The portions are huge and you are never disappointed when you leave! I have seen the kitchen numerous times and I’m so impressed by how clean it is! The food is made fresh and is all homemade! The staff, management and owners always go above and beyond for their customers! I highly recommend Backyard BBQ!

Some of the best BBQ in the state as been awarded. Get a slice of banana pudding. Friendly staff and consistently good food all around. You will just about always catch the owners working which speaks a lot for a true family owned business. Backyard BBQ, a magnolia staple.

I was just on a quick visit from CT to see my dad. He took me here for lunch. This is a very friendly, low key place with excellent BBQ. I had the brisket sandwich with slaw and beans, and it was terrific. Large portions, flavorful, and a nice staff serving it all up.

Hugely popular in the Magnolia area, but truthfully the bbq is mediocre. Especially for the ludicrously high prices they charge compared to Crayton's. Ironically enough the star of the show here isn't the barbecue - it's their sides! HUGE mozzarella sticks that are hot and melty and put Sonic's to shame. Well worth their price. Piping hot and crispy fried mushrooms. Delicious homemade whole pies. These overshine the tough, bland, and overpriced bbq, sadly.

It's monday June 26, '17. 12:07 PM. I'M starving for a good brisket sandwich, onion rings, and a large sweet tea. I drive to backyard bbq. And what do I see, its more like what i dont see. Not one single car in the parking lot. So what do I end up doing? What I always do, end up going 35 mi out of the way to Lewisville to Burgess. Somewhere I KNOW will be open!!! It was excellent. Words will not describe the food here. Just go. The place has an unassuming exterior that simply says Backyard Barbecue Co. Inside there are wooden booths to sit at or tables if you prefer. You place your order and pay at the counter then choose your own place to sit. The servers will then bring your food out to you by order number. When you are done, you can ask for a takeout box and the servers will clean the table. The toast is generously buttered and similar to garlic bread. The baked beans were the best I ever had and they did not skimp on the sausage. The ribs were smoked and finished off with sauce. I barely used any sauce for the ribs because they were just that good. The battered onion rings used the largest onions I have ever seen.

Mannnn okay. so this place is pricey, up front. HOWEVER! It is so incredible. The barbeque is perfect and cooked fresh. Tastes just absolutely amazing. Their sauce is amazing too. They also have incredible pies, like worthy of awards they are so good, I can never go without getting a slice, they just call to you from behind the glass. And they now serve beer and such too which is always a good add on! Must try when you're in town if you like barbeque even a little bit!

Parking was free and the building is wheelchair accessible. The building was crowned; however, our group of nine adults and two children were seated together. The meal portions were very generous. The atmosphere was suitable for a college crowd and adaptable to older clientele i.e., us. It was difficult for a member of our group to locate the business from the road. There is limited table service. The employees were courteous and knowledgeable about were courteous and knowledgeable about the menu choices.

It is a good place to eat if you're a bar-b-q fanatic. But it is very expensive and the service is terrible. I went there to eat one night with family/friends and ordered a brisket sandwich and onion rings, 40 min had come and gone before the food start coming to our tables. I got my brisket sandwich but not my onion rings. I waited a good 15 min for them, i asked the waitress about them 2-3 times, and she keep telling me they be right out. I finally decided to eat my sandwich. After i, along with everyone else that was with me, was through eating and ready to leave, my onion rings was finally brought out. From what i could tell, there was only one cook working there. As busy as they stay, they diffenetly need more cooks. I wound up throwing the onion rings away.

Many years of eating with lots of satisfaction has slowly changed. This evening the baby ribs which usually are succulent and needed no effort to eat. Over done with side beans with more ground meat than beans. A 30 minute wait made it less value for money. Hoping ownership gets a grasp.

Fantastic barbeque! As good as it gets! Service sucks whether you eat there or call it in. Don't be in a hurry. It is not a fast food place. Understood. But 2 hours when all you have to do is slap the already prepared meat on a bun? No way. If I'm going to spend that kind of money and time I'll eat at a fine dining establishment with wine, candlelight, and cloth napkins. Very disappointed in the service.

Ordered the ribs and rings. A full slab of baby back ribs and onion rings. Both were good. Ribs had a ton of meat on them and were cooked with a sweet glaze. Very good. 3 of us ate on the and were all satisfied. I also tried a slice of their coconut cream pie. I'm going to give it an OK grade. Nothing special. Might have been a little better warm. All in all the experience was worth the drive from El Dorado. You won't be disappointment. (I was told the chopped pork was amazing too)
