The fried dumplings are some of the best we've ever had, the sweet and sour chicken is all clean, white meat, and the noodle dishes are packed with flavor. They are really quick and thorough with dine in and carry out orders. This has become our go-to Chinese take out, but could also be a good spot for a date night.

Very tasty. Highly recommend spicy dumplings for appetizer, but definitely NOT the duck lotus bun. The 2 duck pieces were so tiny!! Entree portions much more generous. Brown rice and fried rice were quite good. Caution: fish dishes are from farmed catfish from Asia (not known for being particularly healthy). Overall really good and not so expensive.

Food was great. We had to wait a little longer than usual, but we did order sushi, so it's not unheard of for it to take a little while. However, part of my order was Smoked Salmon nigiri, and I was brought a smoked salmon roll. Not a huge deal, and the waiter was new, so no big deal. Everything else was fine, so I can't really complain.

It was our first time and our experience was great. The hostess let us know that they were having trouble with the ac on one side of the restaurant so she sat us on the other. My wife and I had drinks an appetizer and our main course all of which were fresh. Good Chinese food.

Great place for some authentic Chinese food. Parking is an ease with parking across the street and out front. This is a very safe place. The food was outstanding. I got the garlic pork ribs and steamed rice. It's a very clean restaurant with great staff. I will be back.

Nice quiet atmosphere. Parking is easy and close. Polite smiling staff. Service was quick and attentive. Large variety of it's to choose from. As the restaurant's name implies, you can get Japanese or Chinese. My wife had orange chicken and I had the triple crown. Both were very tasty. The food was delicious although I prefer my fried rice to be a little more robust. This is a good place for a nice intimate dinner or for a gathering of friends. I would definitely go back if for no other reason than to try more of the delicious sounding items on the menu.

Great Food! Clean Food! The bonus? We did not have to drink tons of water due to msg and too much salt... so glad this place realizes a lot of people are waking up and paying attention to how they feel when they go out to eat. I want to feel refreshed and ready to go! The ginger dressing salad, tea, and entree where great!

I loved AWLins before, I went today and there were gnats flying everywhere. My sushi had overly ripe avocado (browning) on them. The calamari tasted old and dry. I am very disappointed, this was one of my favorite places to eat.

If you are diabetic stay away from this place. I told the waitress I was diabetic and could not have rjce. She offered salad as a substitute. When she brought the salad, it had a dressing. I asked if it had sugar. She said no. I asked her to check. Yes it had sugar. I asked for vinegar and oil. Because the meal was taking so long to prepare she brought us two egg rolls with sweet dip. Any grain turns to sugar in your mouth. The pork and vggies were swimming in sugar she said it was the onions. One hour later my blood sugar was 177

I want to start by saying the food tastes good and it's generally a good place to eat. But after some of the things I've experienced here I will not be going back. On a fairly busy weekend night, one of the servers walked out because the owner, Jenny, called her stupid. Obviously, the service became strained after that, and I've noticed since then that there are never enough servers there. It's consistently under staffed and I can tell by the service I receive.

Great service and food! Our server Parker was very attentive. The menu offered choices of several different Asian cuisines to include Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Korean, and Singaporean. I sampled some of my husband's Spider Roll and it was great. The soft-shell crab was yummy. I ordered a Kim-Chi salad and it was very refreshing. I also had the spicy Singapore noodles and my husband had the Pad Thai. Both dishes were scrumptious and we had leftovers to take home. I felt the menu prices were fair, if not a little on the low side for the quality of food and the ambiance of the restaurant. Our check was $57 for two sushi rolls, a salad, two adult entrees, kid's meal, a soup, and three soft-drinks. The server even boxed up our leftovers for us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I made a reservation 4 days in advance and arrangements were made to accommodate 20 people in the party room. Not only did they forget but tried to send us away and give coupons. We waited 30 minutes to get seated, 30 minutes to order, and another hour to get 5 people their food out of 17 and then told us they were not making any more food for the rest. Don't make reservations here, they will not honor it!!

Today a friend and I ate here at lunch and were the first to arrive. We were promptly seated and a very friendly server named Patricia took our drink order while we reviewed the menu. We got the Calamari to start and it was excellent, soft inside and crispy outside. We ordered different items from the menu and soon our soup and spring rolls arrived. Our drinks were constantly refilled without having to wait, and the food was excellent and a great deal with the lower lunch prices! We will be back again.

I’m from a large Northeastern city with a large Chinese population and this is still one of the best restaurants I’ve even at in the US. Food is authentic enough to satisfy a Chinese person and still accessible to folks who are less accustomed. FYI - there’s a “Chinese menu” you can check out.

Kung pao chicken was best I've ever had but brown rice was terrible (American style). Kid's sesame chicken was also very good. Mapo tofu was unusual but OK. Mens restroom was out of soap and the trash was full. Womens restroom was fine. Server was excellent and took immediate action when told about restroom.

Great overall experience. The food was very good. We had chicken lettuce wraps and salted pork with steamed rice. They offer a full bar but I had a glass of plum wine. The decor was really nice. If you like Pei Wei, you'd love that place. It's a big step up. If you don't like Pei Wei I'd recommend you trying this place. Ingredients quality is better, but assortment of various dishes. If you enjoy a cold one you might want to try Tsingtao beer. I've personally tried almost every dish on menu and so far everything have been delicious.
