I was really disappointed in this restaurant. We had to ask for a waitress to come & take are order once we were seated. Ordered the catfish & it was terrible, tasted like mud really bad, ordered salad bar with the meal. It is $3.99 with a meal, you can not replace it for your side. Once we were eating the waitress did not come back until we were almost done & we did not have the same waitress the whole time. The windows looking out at the river are disgusting & need to be cleaned, for that is the main focal point of the restaurant. Will NOT be going back! Just overall NOT GOOD!

A real home cooked meal! Best Bacon Cheese Burger ever! The meat was a big flavorful patty that tasted like real beef! Real thick pieces of Bacon and real slice of cheddar cheese. The next day I ordered the fried steak meal...perfect! Real piece of meat not gristly at all! And of course they had the good ranch as well.

So we go to anglers time to time and I can honestly say I have never been let down ever.fkod is always amazing as well as the atmosphere,,watresses are always sweet and kind and very on time as in you don't wait long for service at all and the little table buster cootose to you little man you can rock that place better than I have seen five grown people do to mom and dad your doing one amazing job with your son very polite always smiling and works hard as ever he's precious great job thank you for the rose I think things like that are so on point great food and great people.

They told us they don't have breakfast. Seems lots of advertised amenities aren't real here. Woman in bait shop wouldn't get off the phone so we could ask where a breakfast place is. We are in the middle of nowhere. Web and guest directory both say breakfast available.

First time here. Great view of the river from inside. Had the Double Mushroom Swiss burger and was really good! Opted for Salad bar instead of fries for upcharge but pretty good salad bar and has been soup with it.

Food not bad but long long wait for food after being ordered plus just like few years ago the place is so hot inside ya can't enjoy your meal felt ripped off because we had to get to go box due to hear in the restaurant. Be advised this place is either a hit or miss place but if you like it hot!!!!! While eating then you'll like this place.

Went in and wanted to sit outside but the fans were not working on the patio. We decided to get a table in the restaurant. When we came back inside it was chaos. There was not a hostess to sit people and the waitresses were scrambling trying to do way to much. The waitress who finally seated us got an attitude that we didn’t take the table outside and finally just put us at an open table by the salad bar. The inside of the restaurant was literally like an oven. The waitresses were pouring sweat and after about 10 minutes so were we. They literally had no AC going and it was in the high 80’s outside. We finally got a waitress and she was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. She had way, way to many tables to take care of to her credit. We finally got our food after an extremely long wait and to the restaurants credit it was pretty good. The shrimp and steak was good and I actually enjoyed it this morning as leftovers. The reason I didn’t eat at the restaurant was because it was so hot inside I actually got sick to my stomach. After we got the check I finally had to go outside to get some air. It took my mom about fifteen minutes to actually get the check and cash out. She had to get up and go find someone to cash out. They need a lot more staff to handle the business they had. I would not recommend going on a weekend.

The location on the river is perfect. We sat on the patio and had the crab cake sandwich and small catfish dinner. The hush puppies and beans were delicious. The fish and fried okra were OK. My daughter liked her sandwich and fries. Place was clean. People were nice. Prices were a little high. Overall good. I would definitely go back for the view.

We visited on a Saturday night and it was crazy busy. Our waitress was fabulous, knowing it was getting late and I was traveling alone with 3 kids. The catfish was great. Kids meals were average. My son got the Prime Rib which was tasty but he couldn't see to cut it. They need more lights on the outside deck. Overall good food, great location over looking the river.

Very good food. My husband and I each order burgers. They not only tasted fantastic, but they were big! We ordered the Chicken Tender Basket for our daughter (keep in mind that this meal only comes with two pieces of chicken), took a large chunk for our one year old son (who eats like he's a six year old) and there was more than enough left over to still bring a section home. She honestly couldn't eat any more and she ate a lot! The service was very good. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. I will definitely go back!

This place was awful! The server, Christina, was talking and laughing with her friends while she took our order. When I asked if she could get the kids' food out first, she rolled her eyes at me. We got the food an hour later. Then I was overcharged $12. Food was average except for the fries. Fries were yummy. Overall, I'm sorry we went.

I didn't feel welcome from the get go.. my waitress seemed upset to have a customer come into her section.. everything I tried to order they were out of.. the food wasn't anything like I remember it being.. it's just worth driving the extra to Leslie to go to Ryans grill .. better food nicer staff

I had the sirloin steak dinner and it came with what may have been the smallest baked potato I have ever had. The potato was undercooked and had that big hard black spot in the end of it which made a third of the potato unedible. My dinner roll was hard and dry so much so that it made dust on my plate. Me and my brothers from Texas decided to eat here on our last night of our motorcycle vacation. We ordered the catfish and the steak and also the Parmesan Steak and Shrimp. By far this food is amazing! The steak was better than back home in Texas! If you stop here in the town of Mountain View please stop by and visit this place. The outlook on the river was also a view to behold.

Very good food. My husband and I each order burgers. They not only tasted fantastic, but they were big! We ordered the Chicken Tender Basket for our daughter (keep in mind that this meal only comes with two pieces of chicken), took a large chunk for our one year old son (who eats like he's a six year old) and there was more than enough left over to still bring a section home. She honestly couldn't eat any more and she ate a lot! The service was very good. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. I will definitely go back!

Pretty disappointed.. I used to really enjoy anglers.. I went in shortly before closing ( their listed hours online are not accurate) I was not aware they were going to be closing.. I didn't feel welcome from the get go.. my waitress seemed upset to have a customer come into her section.. everything I tried to order they were out of.. the food wasn't anything like I remember it being.. it's just worth driving the extra to Leslie to go to Ryans grill .. better food nicer staff

I had the sirloin steak dinner and it came with what may have been the smallest baked potato I have ever had. The potato was undercooked and had that big hard black spot in the end of it which made a third of the potato unedible. My dinner roll was hard and dry so much so that it made dust on my plate. Guided tour with Jimbo. Took us to great fishing spots. Had the bait ready to go, and it worked! Left with our bag limits. I caught more fish than ever before in my whole life. Jimbo had me casting like an expert after maybe an hour. Great weather, great scenery, great company!
