Wright's at Biltmore was fantastic, the appetizers and entrees were spectacular, I personally had the Scallops and it was some of the best food I have had in recent months. The wine and beer are spectacular as well, with both of my present company fully enjoying their drinks, and the wait staff was calm and nice, and very patient. The bill was a mind boggler, but the food is worth every cent, especially if your staying at the hotel.
My favorite place! So much history! Brunch and tea time are perfect I can bring my baby as well. Perfect for pictures!
Overpriced & Low Class My wife & I (50 yrs old, well groomed, and appropriately dressed for dining) went there for a drink today. We were one of three (3) occupied tables in the bar. The ambiance was nothing special, and the waiter treated us like we were college kids at a Cheesecake factory on a busy night, demanding a credit card before he would bring us drinks. Maybe when people get the bill for a $25 "happy-hour" drink they refuse to pay. Whatever their rationale for treating customers like dine & dash suspects, I'll pass on any return trip.
Sunday Brunch. Service is great. Everything else? Entirely unimpressed. Am very willing to spend $60/per, but will not do so here again. There's no way near enough offerings, and what is offered is way too weird. If you're high end, that doesn't mean it all has to be as bizarre as possible. Especially at brunch. Everything on the buffet (not many choices unless you want all bread and cheddar cheese) is cold. Hot small plates are ordered. All that is very strange, and mostly seafood. Finally, after eating what I could, just sighed and decided to eye the desserts. But every one of them had that refrigerated, mass produced (somewhere else) taste. Will search out other brunches in the Valley. Save your money and avoid this one. I only bumped up to two stars (and yes, a 20% tip) because of the service. Very nice staff.
Amazing Evening
The service was very poor!
Amazing atmosphere, excellent service and wonderful food.
We had an exceptionally large group of 100, so we didn't have the regular menu to pick from, but the food was VERY good. I had Salmon, which was done perfectly, and the other option was beef, which received great comments from those who chose that. IF YOU ARE FORTUNATE ENOUGH to see Chocolate Banana Brûlée on the dessert menu.....BY ALL MEANS order it. I'm not even a dessert guy and I'll be talking about it for a few weeks!
I have long been a fan of the food at the Biltmore and it is definitely a bit underrated as a place to go. While a bit steep in price the Lobster Posole was incredible, and the souffle was perfect.
This is simply a beautiful place hidden in the Arizona amongst the built up of the city.
Absolutely gorgeous! Phenomenal service! Devine cuisine!
Amazing meals in very lovely restaurant - well worth the visit.
One of my favorite places in Phoenix! Great, food, drinks and lots of history with gorgeous architecture.
Pricey but worth it. Food and experience was top notch.
Great food and great service...I suggest doing the tasting menu
The caviar was marvelous, the port and soufflé were delicious, the escargot was excellent, the dover flown in from Holland was delicious, the watercress was magnificent. The service was fantastic. I received a different wine with each course. It was absolutely wonderful.
I had a difficult time deciding what to get because everything on the menu looked incredible. There were six of us and we each ordered different dishes. In the end, I still couldn't decide who had the best meal. All of the appetizers and all of the main courses were amazing! Between all of us, we got the Caesar salad, beet salad, lobster bisque, French onion soup as our appetizers. The French onion soup was extraordinarily beefy. The bisque was very freshly lobster-rich and not too sweet. The Caesar was intriguing as it was made with kale and Brussels sprouts. For entrees, we got the lobster Thermidor, steak bordelaise, beef Wellington, rack of lamb, and salmon. The highlight was the lamb, though everything else was also amazing. It was refreshing and creative without being excessively avante garde. We were very pleased!
We went for valentines and with drinks it cost about 260 but it was definetly worth it. The staff was all very friendly despite a few judjmental looks from people checking in at the lobby or near the restrooms. The atmosphere was very american elegance. The coffee was very good and the food was some of the best I've had in a long while. Because of the price I wouldnt eat there often but it's worth every penny. Besides, amazing food is better appreciated when had on occasion.
Wright’s for the dinner pre-fixe menu was not great and certainly not worth the money. Amuse bouche pickled egg with bacon-delicious. First course tomato goat cheese salad was good not great, second course was a wagyu flap steak with black beans/grilled squash good not great, sloppy presentation and the beef was tough and didn’t seem to be wagyu beef. Third, frozen soufflé had a thick layer of white chocolate at its base. It was not airy like soufflé and was more like a frozen panna cotta. It was too rich and overly sweet, unimpressive. The next day the restaurant had Sunday brunch this was exquisite, great charcuterie, breads, seafood, and dessert bar. They had a selection of entrees prepared au minute. The eggs Benedict was ravishing.
Went here for Sunday brunch and everything was delicious. The brunch buffet has a great variety of food including fresh seafood. The buffet includes small plates you can order a la carte and they are all very original and delicious. You can add unlimited mimosas for $14.
Went for brunch again. And once again was not disappointed. Amazing food, even better service, and incredibly great hostess. Our server was phenomenal but I want to give a special holler out to John who kept everything at our table in order, cleaned up, and our beverages full. Very friendly and helpful. Even took time to get our picture for us.
The food and service were fantastic but the cleanliness of the restroom not so much. It was a mess for being so early in the day. Attention to detail is important in an establishment that is this pricey $$$$
We received a warm welcome upon our arrival and were seated at a lovely table. We were promptly greeted by our server and within a few minutes made our wine selection which was a lovely 2013 Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley (Drouhin). There was only a prix fixe menu for Valentine's Day ($95). We loved the lobster and red chile bisque, topped with a tempura fried chunk of lobster as garnish. We also had the fois gras which, while delicious, we felt was a bit overpowered by the corn (and dry) tamale on which it was served. My wife had the beef tenderloin perfectly prepared with a creamy potato puree and roasted baby carrots. My roasted duck breast was rather flavorless (and chewy) but brilliantly supported by a delicious pearl barley and Brussels sprouts combo. The dark chocolate shuffle was delicious, floating in creme Anglais!! Nice evening.
Very expensive for que quantity one get
You can't ever go wrong at the Biltmore. Superb service and drinks.
5 star
Me and my girlfriend tried the Chef's choice 5 course meal (without the wine pairing). Although expensive the food was incredible and the service top notch. Really set the food tone for our vacation which lead us to be let down nearly everywhere else. One of the best meals of our lives!
They have a terrific Sunday brunch! You can choose from a large verify of food including beef, shrimp, oysters, fresh fruit and veggies, desserts and much more. Oh and you can't forget the mimosas!
Breath taking atmosphere, top notch service from James, and excellent food and wine list.
Amazing staff and service!
The experience at Wright's was excellent. All of the food was superb. Going with a large party, I was able to sample many of the entrees. The service was also excellent. There was a large selection of breads, and the chef provided a carrot panna cotta for each person as a small plate. I had the rack of lamb which was voted the best meal at our table. Unfortunately, I was so full from the excellent dinner, I wasn't able to try a dessert.
This place is better that three stars, BUT, talk about $$$'s. I'm not cheap, but also appreciate getting 'value' for the buck. The $25 lobster appetizer? One could barely see any lobster. The steak I had - not $60 worth. Accompanied by two little pieces of asparagus, and *A* miniature carrot - along with two tablespoons of potato??? Everything tasted great, the service is phenomenal, but I'm hard pressed to even call this place a once a year 'special' occasion destination! Obviously, for folks that can afford to stay at the hotel, they can certainly (and probably willingly) afford to eat this way too! Lol
The food was very bad. My pork dish was tough and undercooked (i.e., medium to medium rare), and the foie gras was also severely undercooked, having the consistency of runny egg whites. The service was very good, but the food was by far the worst part of the meal. For obvious reasons, that is a problem.
The Wright Bar located in the Waldorf Astoria Biltmore is a laid back imbibery with the finest liquors from around the world. They have a small, but extraordinary menu to add to the mellow music. Aaron offers top shelf skills to go with the top shelf drinks.
Attended the Sunday buffet it was great and the bottomless mimosas were delicious.
Beautiful place but later at night service slow.
We had our own private table in the wine room sitting on chairs designed by frank lloyd wright (we love mid century furniture). Service was impeccable and very entertaining. We started of with items from the buffet, locally sourced burrata and breads, tasty sushi rolls and chilled seafood. Then we ordered multiple small plates of hot food from the kitchen, every one perfectly prepared and presented. We ended the brunch with the dessert buffet. Definitely get the unlimited sparkling wine and mimosas!
Excellent food and service. I was expecting typical hotel restaurant food which is usually mediocre at best with a beautiful atmosphere, and was pleasantly surprised by what a delicious dinner we had! My salmon was cooked perfectly and very moist accompanied by an array of beautifully prepared veggies. Everyone loved their filets and one person enjoyed the short rib. My salad was the best one at the table the beet and goat cheese salad. The little gem salad and the wedge were a disappointment, so skip those. The chocolate torte was a nice way to finish the meal. We will definitely come back.....
Off the chain.
Nice
Love the style and history of this place. Rooms extremely nice, the food had little differences that made it better than the usual. We plan to go back to stay a couple nights this summer.
Excellent food and excellent service as always.
Wonderful hotel and a beautiful property...
It dope
The food is very good. Service is great. I didn't like the size of the appetizers or dessert; not shareable.
Everything that can be said about Wright’s at the Biltmore already has been said. I would like to add during my trip I ate here. Wright’s at the Biltmore was a much more luxurious dining experience in my opinion. Service and food were perfect. Bravo!
A little on the expensive side, but the old fashioned was really good!
Really great place! The food was some of the best I have had here around Scottsdale. I had the venison tenderloin, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. All of the dishes involved careful attention to detail and quite a bit of culinary skill. Some other favorites were the frybread with tomatillo and the beef fat mashed potatoes. In addition, the building's architecture was really interesting (Frank Lloyd Wright?) and the ambiance was relaxing and fun. There was really great live music and the service was attentive and seemed to take pride in their work. Overall, a top choice for special occasions.
Wright's was the nicest restaurant at the Biltmore Hotel resort. The service was great from the staff and the food was very enjoyable. Make sure to check out the menus before dining here for dinners, but the brunch will appeal to just about anyone.
Great music and drinks
We had a wonderful time! We did the tasting menu with wine pairings. The wine pours were generous, and very well matched to each course. Service was excellent! We will be back.
The hamburger was excellent!
I love the little bar in the middle of the hotel.
Wright's Brunch was amazing!!
Very Nice resort, inspired by an iconic Architect.
The best!
Great quite place to have 1st date or have business meeting.
It was lifetime experience I never had thatmuch starter under one roof all starter taste was good ambiance was fantastic love to come again and again
Elk Loin, Bison, and Duck entrees were amazing!! We enjoyed the overall cultural experience that makes this dinning experience extra special.
Went here for Valentine's day dinner. The food and service were great. I liked the Frank Lloyd Wright style interior. I would definitely return.
Lovely!
Loved it! Great service.
Off the chart Sunday brunch. Service and food beyond compare.
Nice place for dinner
Went here for a girls night out! The food was delicious and the service was awesome! Conveniently located in the Fairmont Hotel and in downtown San Jose. The atmosphere is on point
The food was great but the service for our large group was disappointing. Despite having a limited menu, it took over an hour for the first course to be served and the servers did not communicate with the group about the delay. Eventually the service fee was waived, which was appreciated.
We stayed 4 nights at the Biltmore. On the first night we had dinner at Wright's. We were seated around 6:30pm on Thursday night during offseason and were the only two in the restaurant. This could be extremely concerning at other places, but we rolled with it and so glad we did.The service was phenomenal. Everyone was extremely friendly, attentive, and offered great recommendations
Fantastic Food and Service! Ask for Bernadine. She is amazing! Friendly, attentive and so knowledgable about the food, drinks AND history of this resort. Refreshing and completely delightful. You don't find this kind of service everywhere. Relax and enjoy!
Really exceeded expectations.
Hot beer, rude waitress. Pools only open to special guest
I had the privilege of dining here, with my family, and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff is incredible, the chef even returned to work, after leaving from their shift, just to cook a course meal for my family. It was a beautiful night, and we had a truly wonderful time. Thank you, very much. This restaurant and their history, their ingredients and their culinary staff, amazing. It's definitely an experience and part of local history. Enjoy!
The brunch was wonderful and the service top notch. We really enjoyed the variety of food and sitting outside.
Great service and friendly staff!
52 bucks for 4 drinks. Classy place
Comfortable atmosphere...great service!
Higher price resturant. Elegant and service is impeccable. Food is preety good.
It is like putting too many flavors and things together and mixing the flavors too much...At the same time there is nothing very very exceptional in the menu like any other hotel restaurant.actuallyNevertheless, it is not possible not to celebrate the superior effort of the cook, but waiting for the food to be cooked in a long time did not make me very happy seafood is good but the portions on the plate should be more satisfying overall Biltmore is a place with a super vibrant classical ambience loved it...
Place is nice but things are getting old and starting to break.
My husband and I have come here for our anniversary the past 2 years and both times were perfect. Of course this is fine dining, and you pay a pretty penny for the food, service, location, and overall experience, but it is so worth it. Every single detail of flavor in the food complements each other. Several menu items give a respectful nod to local flavors and cuisines. Both times that we’ve come here we’ve been so impressed by the warmth of our servers and wait staff. They strike up conversation that isn’t too long or imposing. They are also extremely knowledgeable of the menu and ingredients. I’ve been wanting to try the tasting menu but haven’t gathered up the nerve as the chef spontaneously prepares each course. It would obviously be out of this world delicious, so maybe next time. I definitely recommend walking around the resort grounds after dining to let the rich food digest and to take in the beauty of the historic Biltmore.
Great food and variety for the price. Well worth every penny.
Great food and staff!
The service was on point kudos 2 the wait staff the entres were mediocre for the price. I buy better cuts of meat at home. Sorry!
Beautiful hotel and awesome place to stay for a couple of days and just hang out. I haven't been to many hotels where I wanted to spend more time at the hotel instead of exploring the area but this was excellent! It's a beautiful compound with fantastic architecture and details from Frank Lloyd Wright's style.
Excellent food, extraordinary service!
Best night! The food was fantastic, particularly the chocolate souffle! Will definitely go back.
Incredible food and service! Great ambiance
Comfortable setting. High end alcohol available. They didn't quite have enough wait staff to handle our large group and last call was not announced. Drinks were strong and good tho. Fire pits and outdoor sofas, lounge style seating indoors, also with sofas.
Overall, the food is great, their service is very professional, a sense your there to make money from. $250 before wine for a dinner for two. Lots of choices in Phoenix at that price point. Once and done for Wrights.

Had drinks and appetizers, both were good. The staff checked our table multiple times and seemed to enjoy their jobs.
Fabulous place. Really enjoyed the whole experience. Will go back.
Absolutely the best food and service. Beautiful decor.
Terrible service. I mean awful - waited over 15 minutes at the bar to order and the bartender seemed annoyed when she finally came over to help me. Considering the fact there was only two other customers at the bar I don't know why I would be a burden. After paying $45 for two mediocre drinks I'd have to say - not worth it. Maybe fancy rich people don't care but I was very disappointed to have something I was excited about (visiting here) be ruined by poor customer service and an overly priced cocktail that wasn't even special. I'm sad this place looks cool but doesn't treat customers well.
Muy bonito lugar , rodeado de la maravillosa historia del hotel Arizona Biltmore..
Beautiful place, good food but expensive
Amazing place with rich history! Would love to come back anytime for an event.
Very good service and an excellent meal. I has salmon, my wife had sea bass and both were as good as one would expect from a restaurant of this caliber.
Hands down. Phenomenal dinner. Everything was a flavor explosion. A very special dinner
If you come for brunch remember that valet is courtesy of the hotel. So there's no need to look for parking. Just go and enjoy the amazing food.
This place will give you the experience you’ve never had. All the staff is incredible and super smart! The location is great and the decoration and architecture (well, duh.. who built it, right?) are amazing. Price is high, I won’t lie, but it felt fair for the quality of food we were getting. The chef gave us 2 little free dishes to share and we LOVED them. I wish we had more time so We could’ve done the 5 course x $125 but the server said it takes around 2 - 3 hours for all courses to come out. Buñuelos were exquisite and the wine the servers recommended was as well. I’d definitely go back! Cheers!
Love, love, love it here
Excellent in every way. The food was plentiful and impeccable. The service was Top Notch but of course at $49 a person what would you expect? This is a once-in-a-lifetime buffet. It has everything your heart could desire. There are five hot items included and they encourage you to order all 5 to test them. They were exquisite and to die for. The cold platters of shrimp, crab, smoked salmon were fresh and delectable. They also served steak, and duck. The entire Buffet was out if this world. The desserts are exquisite. I bumped into a friend of mine at a table of 12 all nurses from Banner Health they were enjoying the experience and celebrating a birthday. If you're celebrating a special birthday or anniversary this Sunday brunch is where you should be. Nothing is classier than the Arizona Biltmore. The Wrights restaurant has elegance and flair to make the perfect gourmet experience in the valley. You will feel like a king or queen and know why the socialites of the world came to the Arizona Biltmore almost 90 years ago. So treat yourself and someone you love to a gourmet brunch that you will be talking about for many years to come.
Good drinks, cool bartenders but $$$$$$$$! Paid 60+ for 3 pretty standard drinks
Great drinks
good taste good food good atmosphere
Just OK. It took forever to get two salads, the radicchio was bitter. Entree was fine.
The service was out of this world; the manager went as far as to bring my kiddos (who were a bit chilly) little shawls to keep them warm! It’s pricey, but absolutely worth every penny; the food was spectacular. Can’t wait to come back for a date night without the kids!
Excellent customer service! Great impression from my first visit! Our server, William, was on task with keeping our mimosas full and attending to our table! Definitely will be visiting quite frequently on Sundays especially!!
Delicious Sunday brunch buffet, great staff and relaxing upscale atmosphere!
My husband and I attended Ray Sierka's 80th Birthday celebration today at Wright's and had a lovely experience. Everyone, from the valets to the wait staff were well trained, efficient and friendly. Our meals were yummy. Thank you to the staff, including those in the kitchen!
All carb loaded food and very pricey.
Good food, amazing views and awesome history tour!
Very pleasant!!
Outstanding
Good food. The fire grilled pizza choices seem a bit odd but were actually delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. If you sit outside you will get eaten alive by mosquitoes in during mosquito season.
Aside from the prices, whats not to like - note that you generally get what you pay for here.
Was nice but needs a huge update. Rooms looked tired
Sunday Brunch is off the hook, it's a Foodies Emporium. Why? The Chef De Cuisine, Brian Peterson. The guy just won't sit still. That's why. Every week these folks create 5 small Plate items, each one so unique, a truly diverse set of flavors. They are all you can eat, and when ordered come from his kitchen direct to your table. His carving station has featured Filet Mignon, Prime Rib Cap, Iberico Pork, Wild Boar, NY Strip, Veal Rib Roast, the list goes on. Think you have this figured out? Wrong. Each week, everything is turned upside down. Start over. What's fresh, What's local, What's Stylin? Bang. That's what you're having. Every Sunday is unique and equally stellar. Add an eatable changing food display that has featured, foie gras, king crab, beef carpaccio, crab claws, lobster, smoked duck breast, pork belly, caviar, etc. It gets better. Throw in a service team, which will make your head spin. You will believe you have arrived at your "life style of the rich and famous" alternate reality, if just for a few hours. When you see the price tag, you won't believe a word I say, especially when compared to some very pricey brunch options in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Call ahead Saturday for the menu and ask what's on the carving station, if you are a foodie, or not this is addictive. I'm practically sitting in the parking lot on Saturday.
Went here for brunch on my birthday and first time visit. James and the other waiters were efficient at the beginning but then it got busy and not as attentive when we needed to leave (one reason for 4 stars). Food was great and decent options. Must tackle the small entrees first then eat the buffet spread. Could probably skip the desserts and just focus on seafood and entrees. Mimosas are available for an extra $14. I guess I assumed there would be more of a variety. All in all it was a nice time and everyone was very pleasant.
