Decent atmosphere, decent food. Looks like a cool place to have beers and relax but not the place to go for a great dining experience, in my opinion. Waiting staff was nice but didn’t seem very friendly and engaging which makes the difference for an enjoyable experience.

I arrived in Scottsdale on 20/5, I live in the uk, where there are chains but alot of individual pub/restaurants, which always feel better, as these type of places care more about the people and the food. Wally's is this type of places, excellent atmosphere, food and staff, I have stayed locally for 6 weeks and this place beats everywhere I have been. I try something new every time and the food never disappoints. The staff are cool and funny just like you get from your own friends. Will miss you when I go home, thanks for the memories. Richard xx

The home cooked food at this American pub starts with amazing ingredients and is brought to its best potential by expert chefs. The owner is almost always there seating and greeting customers, and the service (Sean especially) is world class. I have never had a bad meal from fish to steak to comfort food. Go here and improve your quality of life.

Not your standard pub food. This is a real find! Great kitchen serving European classics: slow cooked pot roast, bangers and mash as good as any in Dublin, highly recommended chicken vasovious, meats in all the French mother sauces, etc, etc. You can't go wrong as everything on the menu is better than expected. Craft beer selection is a bit limited and reflects local preferences. Will definitely return next time I'm in the area.

I have been visiting Wally's for the past 4 years. Never dissapointed! Food is great!! Pineapple fusion is perfect!! Staff is great!! We miss Ashley but service is still good. If you like meatloaf, you have to order it and maybe 1 order to go.

Delicious hummus and pita appetizer followed by the bourbon street pasta was a killer meal. Really nice atmosphere, VERY pleasant and attentive staff, prices didn't reflect the top notch service and incredible food. So glad the navigator took.us to the wrong place to start with or we wouldn't have headed over. Will definitely be back next time I am in town and recommend to everyone!

I normally don't like them breaded but these were nicely done. The owner Wally was there and was also friendly and had a good sense of humor. Well definitely be back!

I ordered the wedge with no bacon and the waitress brought the salad to the table and it had bacon on it - she noticed it and said she had asked for no bacon She took it back to have it removed But they did not redo the salad and they didn’t scrape some of the bacon off and left some of the bacon pieces there I do not want to pay for eat or smell or taste bacon I don’t want to pay for a salad that was not done properly the way I ordered it I thought that was unprofessional - they should’ve just completely remade the wedge and put the nice piece of salmon on a fresh salad The way I originally ordered was not what I got - they picked bacon off and handed it back to me I have not eaten beef or pork for 35 years and did not appreciate any bacon on my food or any pieces of bacon in the disguise of having taken care of the issue My husband and I have been loyal to this restaurant for many many years and I really have never complained about anything I was hopeful when we made the decision to have dinner there this evening I love this place too but it was not the way I wanted it to go tonight

We have eaten at Wally's for almost two decades both in Phoenix and Scottsdale. The food has always been above average with some unique menu items. Servers are informed friendly. HOWEVER, I must be critical of poor management decisions. We decided to go to the Phoenix location on a Sunday night for a late dinner. Knowing Wally's to serve until 9:00 and as advertised we drove across town to 44th St. We arrived at 8:45 and were turned away because they were already closed! I double checked with the website and it said that it was "closing soon". It is unfortunate that a restaurant manager or even an owner would close down their establishment early when patrons travel to the restaurant relying on the advertised hours of business. That's one of the best ways to lose long and loyal customers and a great way to get a bad review. Doug S

Very good food. Had a southwest salmon aalas. No gluten free menu, but server made suggestions. Substituted ranch for balsamic dressing due to casein allergy. Also shared nice shrimp cocktail with husband.

I've walked by this place dozens of times and we finally tried it. Cozy spot, great customer service, the food was very tasty. They even comped us a dessert as it was our 1st visit. Bread pudding, to die for! Would have like a TX toast to go with the meatloaf dinner, but still quite yummy. Thx y'all!

My family and I are frequent diners at Wally's and the food selection is simply wonderful. The price point is right on and the portions are huge therefore taking home the leftovers serves as another meal. We especially love the special items of the day, including the corn beef on Wednesday, followed by bread pudding........yummo. Our medical office is directly across the street and my staff loves the classic burger and fish and chips on Friday.........Thanks for being the neighborhood hotspot.....Kathleen Baldree

My family loves Walley's, we've come here for over 10 yrs, the food is amazing, the staff are amazing. The reason for the 3 star review. You need to fix the lock on the men's bathroom. On two occassions my 12 yr d son has been walked in on by an adult. Very embarrassing. C'mon Walley's just pay for a new door knob!

The place was busy enough to keep the kitchen attentive. We ordered "bar" food. Fish and chips and also wings. The fish was very greasy and the batter was tough. The fries for me were so salty i couldnt eat them. I ordered a side salad for $5 and got 20 cents of green veggies with a sampler cup of dressing. The sauces that are offered on the menu are a challenge to the kitchen staff. I get that places have off nights, for us it was off. Nothing called out to the soul and made us want to come back. I see the reviews are good that is why we went but for us it was nothing to come back too.

The level of service and the quality of the food was not what I expected from a "Pub and Grill". From the moment we walked in until the moment we left the staff was fantastic. I had the Halibut with couscous and kale salad that any high end restaurant would be proud to serve. I can definitely see why the place was packed. Wally and his sons have done an outstanding job here.
