We were seated and waited 10 min. Someone dropped off water and ran away before we could say any thing. In that time no one said we will be with you in a min. Or anything. Several people working there would peek outside and look at our table. But no one said anything. We ended up leaving.

Second time my wife and I went for our anniversary. And this time was bad. I mean bad. Server and food. Duck was way overcooked, the waiter said he would get me lemon for my water...that never happened. I also stated on open table it was our anniversary, and the waiter didn't mention it until the check, and did we get anything for it? Nope. Would have been nice. Never saw the waiter but one or twice. Owner was talking to everyone, but us. Too bad too because the first time, he did when the place started out. Too busy, to big now to give care I guess. Sucks but that's things.

Quiet dining on their patio. Even though located in a strip mall, the ambiance was pleasant. Service was attentive but it wasn't busy so server had time to talk with us. Oysters on half shell were very fresh and served attractively. Happy hour drink prices are very reasonable and wine pour is generous. Crab-avacado croissant was very good as were the Vogue Chips with Blue Cheese and Shallot Cream dressing. Nice place to go.

Such a cute and relaxing place. The only downside, the tables are too close for a private or intimate dinner experience. Very upclass treatment and the wait staff knowledge was great. The menu options are wonderful and so much to choose from; give yourself time to work your tastebuds up and decide your meal. Great place to eat out.

We stopped for lunch and what we had was an experience. The decor is red, black, white and super chic and interesting. I had the Croque Monsieur and fries. It was fabulous! The bread was delicious, the bechamel perfect with lots of ham and wonderful cheese. We will put this spot on the regular list.

Went to Vogue for happy hour with 2 friends on a Thursday afternoon. We showed up at 4:00 the place was empty with the exception of one couple at ONE of the bench tables and 2 more at the bar. They had reservation signs on EVERY SINGLE TABLE!!?? The hostess said the tables were ALL reserved for 5:30 and we couldn't sit inside, she could fit us in outside on the patio, where they had ONE table available (You guessed it!! All of the other patio tables were also reserved!!) The only table that was available was in the sun!! People, it was 97 degrees out!! There was no special occasion or large group, just 30 different reservations on a Thursday night?? When we left at 5:45 not one other person was on the patio sitting at the shaded tables and half of the restaurant was still empty!!! The food was delicious and the service was pretty good. Not sure if we'll go back, but if we do we'll make sure to call a week ahead to get a Thursday night reservation. I suggest you do the same if you're planning to go to Vogue.

I have been to Vogue MANY times over the years. It seems since ownership has changed hands, it has fallen downhill. We had reservations for dinner and just as we sat down to enjoy our appetizers, the rude busboy told us we had to move tables because they had a party of nine that needed our table. So we up and moved to the table next to us. Unacceptable. The food was substandard. My hamburger was not fresh, and tasted like a frozen patty. As we finished our dinner, the party of nine still had not showed up. Not a fan. Will think twice about going back.

The scallops are fantastic and it's one of the few places in this world who will fill your martini glass to the brim and ask you to take a gulp so they can fit the rest in. 5/5 will eat and drink here again. Great waitstaff, friendly bartenders and hosts, great experience all around

Date night in Suprise? This is a good choice. They fill up fast so reserve a table. Use open table if you can or call in the reservation. Ahi tuna tower is awesome.

Dinner here was okay; only one real option for vegetarians and it was very bland and I had to add a lot of salt; pasta with one carrot and three green beans. The rest of the menu seemed over-priced and based on the food my family ordered I do not think it was worth it. I also had two flies fall into my drink (we were seated outdoors), and the waiter kindly told me "mother nature sucks". I had thought I would get a replacement but he also informed me he couldn't pour me half a beer since they come in cans. As if providing me with a complete new beer would be outlandish. If you're into quasi-fancy dining and spending a lot of money on a small amount of food maybe this is for you.

This place will Rock Your Palate!!! Menu items are classic foodie fare with all of the appropriate and appreciated tweaks, and then some. There's a party in your mouth when you come here. The fly problem when dining outside in the summer is over the top, however, so the challenge is if you're up for the wait when you go on the list. But hey, it's worth the wait. Believe me.

Went here after a funeral with a group for lunch. It did the trick, but wasn't anything spectacular. Shrimp cocktail was decent, a little fishy tasting, but the shrimp were huge. French onion soup was also good as was the potatoes au gratin.

Wow what a night. I hate leaving bad reviews at places because I understand off nights happen however the evening we experienced was a joke and I would like to warn others. This restaurant has very good reviews but refer back to yelp to see more honest reviews please. We should have checked there first and saved ourself and evening of displeasure. First off we ordered reservations over the phone and had to correct the person taking the reservations twice for how many people we needed and at what time. When we got to the restaurant half our party arrived before us (there were four of us) and the reservation was made for inside for two when we asked outside for four which we had already corrected on the phone....twice. When we joined the two others we were promptly asked our drink order and that was one of the few positive aspects of the night is that our drinks were, for the most part, topped off. Our waiter was at times harsh cocky and downright disrespectful and we questioned leaving multiple times but really wanted to try this restaurant because we heard good things. When we asked the waiter to repeat the specials they raised their eyebrows and asked about four times really fast in a row if “are you with me?” I have never been treated so poorly by a waiter and was appalled. As the night went on things continued to go down hill. Our food took over 30 minutes for our appetizer to come out and the waiter apologized which was appreciated. They weren’t crazy busy either but it had apparently been burnt the first time according to our waiter so it was remade. About 15 minutes pass and the main meals come out and my food, a burger that I asked to be cooked well done was pink on the edges still. The mashed potatoes and beef skewers were mushy and had no flavor. They tasted like microwaved mush. One of the meals was fried seafood of some degree, I don’t remember what they ordered but it was just fried garage. The salmon was mediocre at best and for the price it was very disappointing. In the 45 minutes it took for our main food to come out we asked for two bread baskets for the four of us because we were very hungry and our waiter joked that it was a bread buffet and we better eat everything else also (referring to our main food). The joke wasn’t necessarily rude but was uncalled for because we wouldn’t have needed to ask for the bread had the food come out in a timely manner. We went out to have a good evening and left disappointed having spent over $100 on service and food quality that I would expect from a run down gas station.

Vogue is the restaurant that my wife and I go to for every date night. We have celebrated four of the last five year anniversaries here. We know the entire staff and they are extremely accommodating with great customer service. The food is fantastic. And the martini menu is second to none. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is wanting a very special dinner out. Fine dining at its best.

I stopped by personally to make a 4:45pm Thursday reservation for a small family reunion of 8 people and to make sure they were kid friendly for my 4 and 6 year old. We arrived on time on a 103 degree afternoon with a dust storm blowing outside to an almost empty restaurant where we were promptly shown to an outdoor table. I pointed out to the Hostess that we had 2 young children and 2 elderly grandparents one of whom has a respiratory condition and asked to be seated indoors, she mumbled something about being fully booked and went off to retrieve the manager. When the manager came out he was very abrupt and simply told us that we could either sit outside or leave...needless to say we left (through the still empty restaurant) and won’t be back. I’m not unreasonable I understand if a restaurant is busy and you walk through the door unannounced then you get what they have, but when you have made a reservation and they know you have young kids and elderly grandparents in your group, to seat you outside in a 103 degree dust storm is ridiculous. Fortunately there are plenty of other options available in Surprise and I strongly recommend that anyone who reads this review heads to one of the alternatives!

This place deserves 0 - stars! I arrived at this location at approximately 8:58pm. Upon arrival I was not greeted with kindness. I had to ask if they were even open. According to their door sign and Google, it closes at 10:00pm. I was refused service and was told that the kitchen is already closed. I recommend this place to no one!

We absolutely loved our server Haythem!! My Steak Vogue was fantastic, a 5/5! My boyfriend's Duct Two Ways was good, a 4/5. The Vogue Chips appetizers was good too with so much yummy gorgonzola, a 4/5! Bus boy was wonderful as well! Loved the patio, so relaxing! We will be back soon!

Hands down THE BEST restaurant in Surprise! The atmosphere, the food& the employees are ALL A+ Heather, the bartender is not just a bar tender she is the most sweetest & her martinis are incomparable to anyone! Inside and outside seating. Outside seating has misters and a fire place. If you want food and drinks for a date or a drink with a few friends for happy hour this is your spot!!! A major plus... rarely are there any children... don’t judge me I love kids but I also love a time for adults. CALL IN ADVANCE

Took my hubby here for lunch to celebrate his birthday. So disappointed! I had the crab salad with avocados. Crab salad had no taste. The avocados were not even ripe! Expected so much more for a high end restaurant and the attached price of a meal. My hubby had a burger. He said, the burgers were better at Red Robin. There you could taste all the grilled onions and bacon, not so much here. We’ve gone here many times for an anniversary or birthday dinner and it was lovely. Won’t be back for lunch.

The food is always amazing. Fresh Boutique presentation is phenomenal. Highly recommend if you're in Surprise Arizona. This is a hidden gem. Heather behind the bar is on it if I was ever to own a restaurant or destination place like the Vogue I would recruit her immediately. Whenever I travel to Arizona I always have one or two meals at the Vogue delicious healthy fresh Etc. And Heather makes one hell of a drink if you like a great martini. Highly recommend

We’ve been in and around Surprise for almost five years and we are just finding perhaps the finest in fine dining in the West Valley; Vogue Bistro is the name of the restaurant. I had the Vogue Burger and my wife had the crab on a croissant. We ordered the sweet potato fries which came with chestnut dipping sauce. Because of the hot weather we had the chilled beet soup (gazpacho) with a dollop of creme fraiche. It’s been a long time since I’ve wanted to share a restaurant with my locale food critique buddy in Seattle. Now I can’t wait until they come to Arizona and I can share with them the best restaurants in the West Valley; Vogue Bistro is at the top of my list. Oh, I don’t give 5 stars just for food. The service staff was engaging, knowledgeable, and efficient. I had a wobbly table the wait staff noticed came over and adjusted the table shoe and no more wobble. We are arranging a dinner visit when reservations are recommended.

Went here for Valentine's day. The menu feels somewhat limited. My girlfriend loved the lasagna, I wasn't a huge fan of the salad, as it was mostly just lettuce. Needs to be more vegan friendly. Also, the service was just a little slow. Good place though, especially for non vegans

Disappointed. Sea bass (euphemism for unknown species of fish) was prepared well, but portions somewhat small. Waiter forgot one of our parties steak. Had to resubmit order to kitchen, long wait. My special was to come with soup. Never got it. No bread. The environment was nice. Heard good things, but this experience was disappointing.

Had Easter reservations at 10 am (opening) and arrived at 9:55. Restaurant was already open and tables were sat. Checked in at hostess stand and requested a patio table. Was told would have a time limit of 45 minutes, and was clearly discouraged from accepting, so we took a table indoors. We were immediately served water, but then waited 20 minutes, no exaggeration as I check my watch, with not a greeting, nor any services at all, and we were seating at a table right at the door to the patio where every server had to pass by. At this point, my party was ready to leave. I proceeded to the hostess stand it inquire if we were in a area that had been assigned a server as we had received no attention at all. Now mind you, the hostess had past by us numerous times as well, seating more in the patio and inside with zero acknowledgement. Once she alerted a staff member, our server did come to the table and apologized, but did give an excuse that they were not used to a daytime sitting as this was Easter Brunch. Food was good, although the croissants looked like they came out of a can. My wife had the quiche and said it was very good, while my mother had the crapes, very good, and I had the traditional eggs Benedict which were above an IHOP, but not what I would consider top end. During all of this time, the patio, nor the inside, was ever full nor was there ever a wait. Overall, I would say the front of the house is very inadequate in their staff and time management as well as training. The server did comp a second basket of said croissants, and our drinks, which was appreciated. Overall, it will be a while before we return, especially for any special occasion.

Vogue steak was well prepared and great flavor. Frys were crispy and the sweet potato fries were excellent and abundant(definitely sharable). Staff was attentive and polite. My glass never was empty. The cheesecake was also delicious.

First visit in and I love the food here. I had the Croque Monsieur, a side of fries, and Bread Pudding for dessert. All were scrumptious and definitely worth coming back for. The staff were all very friendly and quick. I saw absolutely nothing that would substantiate the claims of other reviews saying there was lousy service. As to sitting in the sun...I don't buy it, the entire patio has drop down shades that envelop it completely as well as misters that drop the temp about 10 degrees. I admit I chose to sit inside, but the patio isn't a horrible choice.

My kids took me to the Vogue Bistro for a Mother's Day and my daughter's birthday. It was wonderful! We sat outside where the misters were, and it was perfect. The food was great. I had the lasagna, and they had the steak and mushrooms. The servers were polite and fast and we had a very good time!

First the waiter we had had a beard older guy looked like he was from game of thrones. Every item he told us to get was incredible from the Belgium beer all the way to a custom dish that the chef created for my lady beacause she is vegetarian. We got the munk fish special. Crab cake. Crab and crispy bread. The custom dish for my lady. The bread pudding is ridiculous. Got this custom chocolate dish that had homemade macaroons and chocolate bark. I would recommend this restuarant to anybody even if there just getting dessert totally worth the trip and price.

We always enjoy Vogue when we are in town. The service is consistent and the food, for the most part, is quite good. I enjoyed the scallops and the seafood chowder was excellent. On a recent visit my company has the Vogue Salad and it literally was bringing tears to his eyes. Not tears of joy, the dressing was caustic. The salad was drowned in vinegar. I tried it and it make me gasp. Our server was very nice and we enjoyed his engagement.

Food is excellent and staff is knowledgeable about what's coming from the kitchen and bar. The entire staff is very attentive. So much so that you'll never have to wait for your table to be cleared, or your glasses to be filled. The drinks are perfect also. Give it a try for happy hour and or lunch. The best place in Surprise. Have been there on five separate occasions. Always good food, Always above-average service, and the bar is easygoing and friendly. Follow-up 10-3-18: I've been here 3 time since my original visits. The kitchen has not kept up with the excellence I experienced earlier. Premium prices should ensure consistency - for some reason it has not. Service is still very good. Downgrading to 4 stars.
