Nice atmosphere. We both had the "Steak and Sprouts". Nice dish, large helping, steak cooked to perfection, sprout mix delicious. Would have liked a little more steak and less veggies for the $21 price tag. Happy hour house cocktails good, decent price $6. Wouldn't consider it one of my favs, but nice place.

I love this place! I've never really been a fan of nachos (weird I know) but the nachos here, are to die for. My friends and I normally come here by bike, and there's usually at least 7-8 bikes already there. Very friendly environment. Great place for a date as well. The prices are very reasonable.

I love this place!! We've been coming for the last couple months almost every Sunday for brunch. Great atmosphere, amazing food, outstanding service. On that note we have had issues every time, getting seated. The service on that aspect is a little blase. Hostess seems almost irritated that she has to seat us. I only mention this because it's not enough to ruin the experience. If you call ahead or catch attitude at the door, do proceed. The table and bar service are outstanding.

Good atmosphere, good drinks, and good food. The patio area is a great spot to enjoy the nice weather at sunset with plenty of seating for two or a party of 10. We had a large group and called ahead to request seating on the patio. Our server was friendly and attentive even with the large group. They also have cards from the old Trivial Pursuit game. If you're younger than 30, then a lot of the questions might seem like Ancient history. However, it does make for good conversation and some laughs.

First time visitor very nice place very quaint very friendly staff met some interesting folks while sitting around the fire. Apparently it's very busy early and my 9in fins out pretty good so not too loud just a nice clean place to go and have a few drinks and relax.

A very nice brunch menu exist in a beautiful atmosphere with comfortable spacious seating. A full bar for afternoon drinks and lunch with wide spread options sure to appeal to each member of your party. Very fresh flavors and an attentive friendly staff. A good place to socialize over lunch as it is one of the quieter places I've been to.

We walked in got sat. It took 10 minutes to get any service. Drinks were terrible and watered down. The server couldn't even hear our order. It was so loud my boyfriend couldn't hear a word. The beer was good! The black been burger was dry and bland as well as the mac and cheese. I had to ask 3 servers for ketchup. No one asked us how our food was. I am writing this as I sit here still waiting for the check which we asked for 20 minutes ago and still have yet to receive. The Vig downtown is amazing. I was really disappointed.

Met a friend around 8pm for drinks and appetizers! Huge nachos that were just wonderful but we could not finish. We both had house specialty drinks, "The Coug" and was so fresh and creative. Place was busy but we had good service at the bar. Great atmosphere!

The French onion burger and grilled chicken blt sandwich that we had this evening were both delicious. Brussel sprouts with parmesan is a must have for a side. The sweet potato fries were really good but weren't actually fries. More like sweet potato chunks to eat off your fork. Still 5 stars in my book.

No complaints. I ate here alone, it was a busy night but there was an opening at the bar. Never had to wait for service, drinks and dinner. I ordered the Mac and cheese with chicken and broccoli. It was good, and a lot of food. I couldn't eat the entire bowl. Not a good selection of dark craft beers. A bottle of milk stout was really the only option, but it was a good option.

A fabulous place to grab lunch or share a dinner. Tucked in the back corner of the little shopping center at Hayden and McCormick Parkway, this local gem is definitely worth finding. Locals usually fill the place at lunch, even in the summer! When it's cooler, the outside patio is usually full and hopping with the who's who from the area. Check it out!

I love this place but unfortunately service is inconsistent. My father had to get up 2 times to ask for assistance for expected items. Sugar with coffee. Hot sauce or salsa with eggs. We we're one of only 3 tables during this time. Incredibly disappointed because I talk so highly about this place. I will sit at the bar next time to get prompt service. 3rd time for tableside brunch and same experience each time which is why I decided to post a review

The restaurant, itself, was kind've back in the corner of a plaza. Not too easy to see driving off the major crossroads. Once I was in the restaurant, it was absolutely amazing! The bartenders were WONDERFUL. Very good with temp checking throughout my time there. I was never waiting for a drink, they were on top of it. Many regulars there & they were very welcoming of new faces. Great food, amazing conversations and outstanding service. I will visit this location again in the very near future. Great job!

French Fries are great. Onion Rings are great. We arrived during lunch, so things were very busy. Our server was very kind, but was absent for the duration of the lunch. Time to order food from sitting down = 10 minutes. Time to receiving food after ordering = 20 minutes. I ordered one of their hamburgers, asked for the meat to be Medium. I got a charred puck. I would have sent it back, but I had business to conduct just after lunch. Would I go back? Yes, because others in my group ordered what looked like fantastic Fish tacos. I would stay away from their hamburgers, though.

The kids sliders meat part burned, taste bitter. My daughter don't eat them. The pad Thai need more taste. They have the best French fries and all their foods taste natural, no filling. Steak salad taste perfectly made and hamburger taste fantastic. For some reason my mother inlaw have stomach problem after she had her fish taco. The air conditioner pretty cold plus fan, but our server kindly turn up the temperature and turn off the fan.

We have driven by this location of The Vig dozens of times. My husband has gone to another location and has enjoyed it. Tonight we wanted to do something different. The food was okay, not bad by any means but nothing standout. They were able to substitute for gluten free. The acceptable food and the service is where the 3 stars came from. The staff was pretty slow. We had to fill our own water after waiting for a while. I made a comment to my husband that they should write down our order because we had some changes, but he went to put it in right away. Missed my add, and my husbands substitution. Then again didn’t come back, they were nice enough, but didn’t feel like it was 4 or 5 star service, especially with it being a little slower. We might try another location.

I have had brunch here before and it was pretty good, but today when we came in we waited an hour to get our food and it was not good. I ordered the American breakfast and my eggs came out burnt and wrong, my bread was soggy, and there were no hash browns. Ten minutes later my hash browns came out burnt. Another member of our party ordered the avocado toast and the toast was so dried out and tough you couldn’t even cut through it to eat it. We ordered the chicken and broccoli off of the kids menu and they brought out chicken tenders and fries. We asked for the two kids meals to come out before ours, but they ended up coming out after. Lastly, the coffee was cold. Not happy with the brunch or service here at all.

This place is such a cool find. The patio is massive and decorated with chic furniture and string lights. I went on thursday night which featured a live musician. The portions were a good size, which I was not expecting. I ordered the gruyere mac and cheese with a side of parmesan brussel sprouts. Both were good, the mac and cheese was a little dry (but still tasty). A warm place to have a big party!

The cook is not good cooking eggs and the waiter still brings on the food knowing it was cooked wrong. Nothing was correct with our food. Kids were running around and even played by our table with knives. Neither parents or staff didn't stop these kids from putting holes in walls. I will never go back.

Looking for a quick place to eat lunch close to our hotel on a Sunday, we landed at the Vig. This cozy, wood inlaid eatery was immediately inviting. The large, and I mean large, front door set the stage. We were greeted and offered choice of seating. We choose outdoor, ordered some sandwiches, with some very interesting sides, and away we went on our culinary lunch journey. Excellent food and service.

Pretty cool restaurant......good for lunch and brunch especially. Very courteous staff, everyone is there to help you enjoy your dining experience. Great happy hour and restaurant in McCormick Ranch, this is also my favorite Vig location in Phoenix. The mixed drinks are typically a little on the weak side, but for $6 on happy hour I won't complain. Service can be slow at this location, I've had instances where between asking for my check and receiving it took upwards of 20 minutes.

I would not recommend this place, no service at all, my husband and I came at 10:30 pm on Saturday night and no one greeted us at the door. After about 10 min one of the servers said that kitchen is doing the last call. There is no point of say online that you're open until midnight if you are not willing to serve customers.

It's been awhile since going to The Ranch location, but they have enlarged still keeping that cozy feel. Just had cocktails an appetizer this time . What was really special was I had seen a craft cocktail using Bourbon in a magazine that use to be featured in a old Beverly Hills restaurant, THE BROWN DERBY . Our server was a doll in getting the bartender on board as they had all the fresh . Looked better then the photo and tasted hevenly.....thanks guys we will ne back again this week.

I’ve been coming here for two years and sadly I will no longer be coming to this location. The service I received or lack thereof was exceptionally the worst it’s ever been. First, I asked to sit outside in a quiet place. There are three patios. The hostess picked the busiest patio. Not what I asked for but if I can get my food then I’m happy. Then I’m Waiting for 15 minutes and no one ever acknowledged me or gave me a water. I ask the hostess if I can sit somewhere where I can get service and she sat me in the bar. I finally got a water but no one came over after sometime. I’m just really disappointed and I don’t know who is managing there but you need to do a better job. You lost a customer.

Good food with a nice atmosphere. You can find some traditional bar-type options (burgers, etc.) but the menu also offers some delicious non-typical offerings as well. They are a step more upscale than your traditional sports bar, but have several large televisions that were broadcasting Sunday night football during our visit. Be wary if you're looking for a quiet date-type atmosphere that doesn't include watching sports if that's not on your radar during date night. The patio area is nice and spacious and had misting stations on during our visit.

This is a great place to eat. The overall theme of the resturaunt is very relaxing when you wall in. Our party walked in and was told it was open seating. We sat down in the newly remodeled area which was very nice. Typical menu appetizers, burgers, salads, special entrees, desserts, etc. Ordered 'The Vig' burger which had a interesting combination of egg, guacamole, and jalapenos. It was very juicy, especially from the egg which made it difficult to eat as a whole. The sweet potato fries were excellent, nicely cooked with crispy taste. Waitress was very attentive with refills on beverages and clearing plates when finished. Friendly, positive attitude too. Overall very good place and would revisit.
