This Restaurant is classified in the category of American restaurant.
IF you are rolling down Route 66, this is a must stop. Eat in the Bar where the decor is amazing. Wonderful food, The BBQ is out of the world and the wait staff are so friendly. One of my all time favorite places on Route 66
Very unique cafe. But staff was friendly
Route 66 and amazing food!! Our server was very nice and the burgers are super good! We spent roughly $80 but well worth the trip!
On a road trip from San Francisco, to LA, to Vegas and so far this was the best place we have eaten! We had three meals there!
Food is very good with more than ample proportions. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. A MUST TRY dinner!
Very cool cafe/saloon. Definetely a must stop while travelling the old route 66 or I40.
Wonderful food and conscientious service. Neat things to look at outside (old buildings) and inside (pictures & taxidermy). Highly reccomend this place!
Great food and great wait staff. We so enjoyed our lunch here and all the staff was friendly and engaging! We left with full tummies and a smile on our face!
Oh this was a fantastic little stop. Make sure to look at the Native American map and history in the hallway. It’s incredible! Friendly folks. Solid food.
food was amazing, the service... not so much. our waitress was pretty snarky and judgmental when I asked for customization for my food and when my grandmother asked a few questions about their drinks and food. It's surprising because we have been nothing but nice since we've entered that restaurant. We were also supposed to get a discount since we were staying at a motel that supposedly had deals with each other but I was not discounted even after asking the waitress if they did that. Since it was our first time in Arizona and Seligman, the other shops and the workers are kind, just not this place lol.
Stopped here after Snow Cap was too busy and too hot to eat outside. The burger was very very good with a very tasy two slices of bacon, with onion rings!! Wife had an excellent Reuben. The manager Aaron was absolutely wonderful and the owner Mr. Pope stopped our table too. We bought a mug and a Route 66 key chain. Five stars, authentic family business. Spend your money here rather than a big national chain.
Nice sit down restaurant with a gift shop, great food and great service but the people where even nicer!
Excellent food. Large portions. Top notch wait staff. Neat little route 66 gift shop. If I lived closer this would be a once-a-week place for me.
Great food and a nifty small museum. Pretty fun for a short stop to eat with family or friends.
We have passed this place several times and decided to give it a shot. We really enjoyed the quirky menu names and enjoyed picking our meals. Staff were very friendly restruant was clean. Food was good, but felt it was a tad lacking. Overall good experience.
What a great place. Food is good and the atmosphere is fun.
Good food large portions nice wait staff
Good food, nice bar, fun souvenirs
Unique dining experience on Route 66. We had the Elk burger and Bison burger. Really good.
Got a T-shirt here. Great food
Service was terrible four of us ordered, two fish dinners came out within 10 minutes then waiting 20 minutes for the hamburger and another 15 minutes for a sampler. So we all ate at different times I won't stop there again, oh yeah the waitress felt bad so she took off $1.60 off the bill, yeah $1.60 was a slap in the face.
This cafe is a little sweet spot that everyone must have once in there life. The staff was so nice, small town hospitality. Food portions are huge and the food that we eat was soooooo good. The sweet tea was something ur grandma made. Recommend this place.
Yummy food, clean facility and friendly staff.
My husband and I shared one of the hamburgers and fries. The hamburger was huge!! It was good. The fries seemed homemade. They were excellent!
Service was good and food was good
Great authentic restaurant with huge meals for a fair price. Also the staff was really friendly, especially our waitress Marcella! :) definitely recommend to stop here while driving on route 66.
Old school decor and great service paired with delicious meal, would eat again
My husband, son and I took a detour from our drive from Colorado to Las Vegas to stop at route 66 Road Kill Cafe and it was absolutely worth it. Great staff, great atmosphere and food. We even all signed a dollar and put it on the wall with all the others collected. I was told about this place by my parents who had visited its years ago and I have to say I was not disappointed. They have a great gift shop two with memorabilia. Highly recommend it! A unique experience you'll not forget in the best of ways.
One word: delicious! Thanks for the experience. Azzurra - Italy
Definitely worth the stop. This place rocks. The staff are super friendly and respectful. The food is great. Large on tap selection; I highly recommend their two local microbrews.
Staff was fantastic! Food was bland. Ordered 6oz sirloin.
Friendly staff. A bit pricey. Great steaks.
The food was great, large servings and super tasty! But by far the customer service was above & beyond, we needed help locating a 40 acre parcel we inherited and only had cross roads & parcel number and the Manager Aaron who knew the land went above and beyond helping us find the gps location, he will never understand how impressed we were that he took the time to be kind and show impeccable customer service. Everyone that worked there was super helpful, definitely our new go to spot when we are in town! Thank you Aaron and Roadkill Cafe for taking the time to make a difference!
Good place to stop on a road trip. Fun little place with very decent food. I had the patty melt which was delicious. I wasn't crazy about the fries, but the sandwich on its own was enough for me. Friendly service.
I killed it, they grilled it! With themed menu options that match the interior decor, partnered with a small museum full of heritage, this restaurant sticks to its roots as a Route 66 roadside dining option. Starting with the best part- I had Judy as my server and I watched as she greeted every guest with a warm welcome and smile. All of the customers were treated the same, whether they were eating, souvenir shopping, or ordering to go coffee. I left with full belly and a much better attitude about my long road trip ahead of me. I ordered the fire chief’s special and the jalapeños tasted as if they were grown on the property. The secret sauce was tasty and the wrap was put together well. I’d rate the food 4 stars, but my experience with the staff is the real reason I will look forward to the next opportunity I have to stop here on a road trip on Route 66!
Quirky diner, interesting food. I had Elk burger and my husband had buffalo burger... both amazing. Other diners had ribs which were apparently best ever. Fun place
Decent food in an out of the way place on Rt 66
I mean: nice, ok, many (old) things. Particolar, for taking a photo and some minutes od rest, but nothing more. The woman inside, as got we were there only for a coffe, changed his behaviour. Nornal?
Cool place to get photos, food is ok could be a little better
It was a great experience!! Awesome food, awesome service, awesome town!! Can't wait to do route 66 from start to stop & visit them again!! Thank you!!
Awesome food and great atmosphere! If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.
The amounts on a dish are truly American. Everything tasted good and definitely recommend to visit since besides the food there are lots of things to see
We stopped there for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised with the food, service and decor! Food was hot, tasty and hearty portions. The dining room was packed and only one server, but she didn’t miss a beat. We never had an empty glass or needed anything. A gentleman was also going from table to table checking on everyone, I think he was he manager. I overheard a customer boast about their sandwich and how good it was but she couldn’t put it down because it might fall apart, he quickly asked her if he could bring her another bun. I was like wow! My dad wanted a stamped penny but didn’t have change on him, he asked for change when he paid the bill and the gentleman reached out and gave him the required two quarters and a penny for free! The menu was very cute and creative names. This was a great little stop on our way through town.
The menu will make you smile and laugh. The food was really great. We had the rib eye steak and it was pricey but we thought it was worth it. I've got tabs just as much for overcooked food that I refused to pay for.
Food and atmosphere was awesome. Rigimortid Tortoise is what I ordered it was awesome. Make sure are hungry, lot of food.
Menu and dish names were cool, servings generous, coffee good, food decent without being outstanding
Loved it. I had the Road Toad Ala Mode burger with steak chips and it was delicious. My other half had the standard hamburger and she was just as happy as me. The main restaurant area was a tad cold (note it’s April) but the bar at the back was warm and cosy. A great place to have a drink and a burger.
Super yum breakfast. I would have cooked the hash more but everyone is different. A great stop in a historic town. They have a gift shop for Roadkill and route 66 souvenirs. I think it would be a cool place to go for a round in the pm.
Fun.. and good food.. service was a little slow. Great gift ideas...lots to look at.. bar fir you drink's.. try them.. great atmosphere... Could be romantic...
Better chicken fried steak then the rooster in vega texas
Wonderful place to go food is grate and the staff are so nice. The town is totally cool place too.
Traveling on old route 66 is roadkill restaurant food and service is good. But the neat thing about that place is their shop and souvenir store recommended stopping by and snooze around.
Always love this spot! Service great and beverages hit the spot! Nostalgic!
Good food, good people. Nice little collection of stuff to look at. My family and I had a great time.
So much food. Loved this place. Couldn't eat everything that was on my plate. Would go back again if ever in the area.
Go hungery..a lot of food but fun place
Another great place on Historic Route 66 in Arizona. The Roadkill Cafe has been here ever since the town was founded. You know the food is great when the local Emergency Responders are eating here on a regular basis. I had the Chicken Tenders & Fries, best I've had in years. You'll love it!
Food was great!! Bar drinks are a bit pricey for the portions.
Had pie! AWESOME chocolate pie and raspberry cheesecake!
Great place for a quick lunch. Sure beats the chain restraunt. The food is great and service even better.do stop by for a real dinners experience.
SERVICE was Great. Food was Good. This time was Friday nite. Long wait. Pastrami was stringy. But Alwals has been good before. I Stop a couple times a year. GREAT PLACE. LUV THE MOUNTS
The menu is hilarious. Service was alright, our food was cold unfortunately. We kindly told the staff, they sent it back, and it was still cold... they took 6$ off of our 50$ bill, which was kind, but it definitely wasnt worth the price.
Great place to get good food and friendly staff. A must go to place
The Reuben was good. The service was decent eventhough they seemed a little short handed.
Yum! And the service is great! Good gift shop, and it's a great place to stop on your scenic road trip!
Well we've been on the road 4 awhile had to go potty pretty bad restroon were out of order, had to go to the 76 station down the road. Wow was that a relief. But after all was said and done they had great service large portion and fantastic food and thats why I gave them 5
Good service. Hilarious menu. Steaks were good, but other food was so-so
Quirky roadside diner offer ok Ng great drinks and meals with a twist. Fast and quality service from the team in the restaurant and a chatty barmaid with lots of stories. We'll recommended.
Good food and friendly service.
Excellent food and service
"You kill it, We grill it" . Gotta' love that. The burger was delicious, the service was good. Average price. Really cool atmosphere.
We had a dinner there on the way to Grand Canyon and really enjoyed it! At the beginning we were impressed by great interior and atmosphere, the food (my Reuben was fantastic!). Highly recommended for a food break after exhausting road!
Good drinks. Good waitress. Good atmosphere
Had a good breakfast and coffee. Friendly staff and clean . Relaxing place to stop .
Interesting place, we just shopped, the food we saw looked fine but we were not ready to eat.
Love this Cafe. Great food wonderful staff and lots of parking. We always stop in Seligman when we are traveling the I-40.
Friendly folks, tasty food, served with fun and enthusiasm. Be sure to have some pie!
Good breakfast. Excellent chicken fried steak!
Slow service, just OK food. Not worth the hype. Probably won't return.
I've been here a few times over the last 13 years. Love this hole in the wall restaurant. Good food. It offers a mini museum with animals from Arizona and a gift shop. The menu is hilarious with funny names for their food. It's the Roadkill Cafe after all and they keep to that title. But they DO NOT serve roadkill varmints. There is a hilarious cookbook in the gift shop dedicated to roadkill cuisine.
It has a nice friendly atmosphere. There is a selection of route 66 items. Our breakfast was delicious and filing . It was the right portion The staff was quick with our order. It is a nice place. I would go there again
Really loved this place. The cheeky name intrigued us and the experience was great. The burger I ordered was tasty and the waitress was very welcoming and sweet. Take the chance to pop into the back shop / bar to see what they have. Bought the Roadkill BBQ sauce and I expect it to be good !
Outstanding hamburgers, service is great!! Recomend to anyone passing through.
Didn't intend to have lunch here but ended up passing by on our road trip right at noon. What better place to stop for a meal on R-66. The staff and food was very good. Solid meat, not processed slices in the club sandwich, I thought was real nice. The Manager (I guess) went out of his way to greet people and chat. Didn't have a drink at the saloon, driving, but did pick up some souvenir hot sauce.
The decor is interesting. The fries were great. The (supposedly) buffalo burger was not as good as a fast food burger and extremely over priced
Great atmosphere. Judy was a amazing waitress
I have been driving past this place over the past five years, but not any longer . The food is great.
Fun iconic themed place. Good food, nice service.
Yummy food and fantastic service! The best hashbrowns I've ever eaten...The ambiance is Route 66 culture...inviting, inclusive and very friendly!
Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Menu had really cute names for things. Totally enjoyed it.
Really nice people and amazing food!
Great place. Second time stopping at it and loved it. First was for lunch and second was for breakfast. The service is always great and same with the food. Will always stop here on my way to cali.
This place is intense in a good way. I was more interested in the walls adorned with antiques and taxidermy. I tried the elk burger as I like to try a new thing when I can. It was ok. I went with the buffalo burger though. The fried food is delicious too. Super friendly and helpful service.
Got their Pig with a wig (pulled pork burger) and it was extremely good.
Nostalgic atmosphere. Good service. Good food. Generous portions. Creative names for American diner fare.
This place a has great food, great service in a great atmosphere. You have to stop by here if you're ever in the area you won't regret it.
The burritos were huge and the service great. It's a fun and clean place to eat.
Liked the place very much. Very cool people run the place.
We had breakfast here. Chorizo and eggs with a large flour tortilla and refried beans, and a biscuit. All very tasty. Good service. Modest sized gift shop with the usual assortment of route 66 souvenirs: t-shirts, mugs, fridge magnets, postcards - that sort of thing. Full bar.
Good food. Very friendly staff. Fun place to stop.
Great food. Great service. Such a FUN place.
Amazing place!!! Wonderful owner and staff. Fantastic food and gift shop. Hotel too! Couldn’t be better.
The grilled chicken sandwich was good. The waitress was aggressively friendly.
Probably one of the best burgers I have ever eaten in my life. Their variety is incredible and the beer tasted great. The perfect place to visit after having hiked 32 miles checking out Havasupai.
Not real busy when we walked in seated right away staff friendly and very accommodating. Took our order 45 min to an hour still no food. Been there many times and the kitchen gets worse each time. We walked out tired of waiting they told us they just started cooking our order 1 hour later!!! Sad.
We love this place, great food and service
Omgee so friendly and fast to seat you food was all great will definitely go again. And they didn't even know I was the mystery diner that day. Passed with flying colors
The food was very tasty, service good, and came out quickly. I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich without the bun and a side salad (was huge). My hubby had the breaded chicken sandwich with fries. He said the chicken was very tender and tasty as well. More food than we could eat!
Nice stop along the old route66. I will be back next time I'm passing thru.
Awesome food close to I-40 from steaks to burgers, etc. Nice decor with outdoor wild west theme.
Got my kicks on route 66 and I got them here! Cool place. Very enjoyable. Friendly staff. Good food.
This place is everything I have ever imagined from a restaurant called the Roadkill Cafe! The atmosphere is right on the nose and is perfect for taking some great photos. The staff is friendly and attentive and the Food is phenomenal. Souvenir shop is well stocked and has some great items to commemorate your time traveling Route 66. If we ever get back out this way we will definitely be repeat customers.
Cool place, good food, nice staff
We stopped off here following a recommendation by family who had previously been here. The greeter sat us promptly on arrival and we were given our drinks a few minutes later. We ordered a burger and the chicken steak, the burger was pretty good and filling. The chicken steak was average, nothing great but not bad. The overall experience was good though and the staff were very polite and friendly.
We had a great eating experience here. I had the best barbecue beef sandwich ever and my wife had a great patty melt. The service was good and the the atmosphere was pleasant.
Ate here after coming home from Havasupai in the Grand Canyon. Food was exactly what I was missing! I love their hot sauces. I bought the Jalapeno sauce and I put it on everything! Very fast and friendly service.
My second visit to the Roadkill Cafe in Seligman Arizona on a portion of the original Route 66 highway. This trip with family who was who was excited to stop at this cafe. The food is O K to good but a little pricey. The service continues to be very good. I know I will stop in again with different people who will enjoy the visit. Free parking.
Fun to look a the memorabilia & taxidermy on the walls. Staff were nice & attentive. Fun puns on the menu items. Wish I would have ordered a
We had steak dinner and kabobs. Delicious. Waitresses friendly. 2 thumbs up.
Food was excellent & the entire staff was friendly, informative & helpful with our Route 66 journey!
Cute place with great breakfast. Many Route 66 souvenirs. Very welcoming
Enjoyed the French dip. Loved the story of owners. And really got a kick from the names of meals from menu
Saw this on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives featuring Route 66. Added it to my bucket list and stopped there for lunch. Food was decent and affordable so if you're travelling Rte 66, give them a try.
If you ever get a chance to travel Route 66, stop by and get a fantastic meal.
Really great food!! Friendly staff. Everything we ordered was delish!
Ordered the Buffalo burger with potatoe salad. The potatoes were hard and not seasoned well. The bun was very thin everything kept sluring off of it they used iceberg lettuce which is fine but it was just a few sad pieces. The meat was a bit dry but I was Okay with it. The other table had a pretty raw patty that was made again and then taken back to cook more because it was also to raw. It was overpriced for what I ordered. Anyway the decorations are fun.
Awesome food. Great displays to look at.
OMGOODNESS what an awesome place to go not just for the food at the roadkill restaurant, but to read the names of the meals you order Their motto is you kill it we'll cook it. LoL and the town is like going back in time. Old cars, signs, homes, and even a General Store, plus the caves tour and gift shop. I had so much fun and laughed so hard. Yes I would take that that 8-9 hour to and from highway 66. AWSOME!!!!
Ok food with oddball names. Service seemed indifferent. This is probably a more tourist stop. Once was enough.
Went for breakfast. Food was delicious. Served hot. Service was excellent. If you go away hungry it's your own fault!! Also enjoyed their route 66 souvenir shop.
We were passing through duing our Road Trip from Denver to Las Vegas. We both got a buffalo burger, that was very delicius
Good food service slow the night we were here. Great atmosphere
I came at night, first off the service was “ehh” and when I ordered the ribs the meat was chewy and I had to really force the meat off the bones. They definitely microwaved the ribs despite the meat not being fresh making it worse, so disrespectful
Great, funny spot to eat a quick bite on the go
Great Club Sandwich and fries, not so good Buffalo burger... dry and they forgot the added bacon :( ... Didnt like the Margarita had to send it back. We had 4 people waiting and checking on us yet some how our service wasn't that good we had to remind them that we asked for stuff. It's always uncomfortable when you have to "complain" about your meal or service but one guy I think his name was Aaron (tall guy) made it more comfortable. He offered us free dessert and took the Buffalo burger off our tab. All the servers were polite!
Great Food. The burgers are better than there T - shirts. A picture of the shirt is on the way...
Looked like a really cool place at first. Here's where it all went downhill. We had to seat ourselves. Then it took a long time before someone came to our table just for a drink order. We finally ordered food. The couple we were with received their food with decent time. Then about 15 minutes later my partner got his burger. Everyone finished their food when mine came after getting onto to our waitress twice to check on it. We complained to her and she apologized saying that was out of her control, there were issues in the kitchen. Never even offered to refill our ice tea. She finally brought our check after chasing her child around and redid our ticket to reflect a discount. $1.40!!!! Talk about another slap in the face. We may give this place another chance as we love to support mom and pop places. Hoping for a better experience.
Ladies were really nice and welcoming. Entered for a coffee ended up having light dinner. Loved the atmosphere
We had cold sandwiches, a box lunch. It was ok, nothing to brag about.
Bad service. Dishes came late. Dishes were small and not tasty.
I use to work there lots of good food and good staff a good place all together
Food is okay but service is terrible. It's not that crowded but our order took 50 minutes to appear. The waitress never checked on us and acted annoyed when we asked her about 30 minutes after order was taken. Bill came with an automatic 20% gratuity charge which was not mentioned on menu.
Fun iconic place, but the food doesn't match. Fried chicken was mostly batter and not much meat and dry beef in the steak sandwich. The free bread was really nice though. We were handed our bill without being asked if we wanted dessert (the table next to us were asked if they had saved room for dessert but we weren't). The food took a long long time to come out after ordering. Such a shame I have to leave a poor review as I had waited a long time to visit this place. I wish I had went elsewhere while visiting Seligman.
The food is delicious and people that work here are really nice❣❣ It is fun walking around and seeing all the neat stuff they have in here too
Good food great service
Service was decent food decent. Our orders were not correct, several tines servers had to have cooks remake other orders as well. Possible though that kitchen staff were new.
Best elk burger. Happy place
Awesome experience to see along Route 66
Good food and service
Lovely staff. Food wasnt bad
Such a good restaurant, loved the interior and the staff was super friendly. Would come back any time if I could
Found this place online while looking for things on Route 66. It looked interesting and it sure lived up to my expectations. I could have been happy just reading the menu, it's hilarious! But, the food was great. Had the Swirl of Squirrel burger. Best squirrel I ever had! Wonderful atmosphere and great employees and fast service. Great for families too. I want to make it back there someday. Give it a chance, you won't be sorry.
The food was great. I have heard about the Cafe for years. Glad I got to try it out, I was not disappointed. Minus one star for slow service.
Best Buffalo burger! It's definitely worth the trip!
Nice place for 66 road. Breakfast price high andvgood
Nice place good food
Friendly staff, tasty food, and a weird weird decor. That said, when you hear the name you have certain expectations, and while all the food on the menu is sourced conventionally...they still structure it to make you think you might be getting a more rustic taste. The bar side in particular is where the best decor is laid out and leaves you somewhere between wow, what the,and how much money is stuck to the ceiling exactly??
Atmosphere and theme are fun. Service was friendly and attentive. BBQ beef sandwich had a tangy sauce, not the sweet syrupy stuff you get at some places. Fried zucchini circles were right on. Ingredients were fresh and good quality.
This cafe was a fun time. The gift shop was a little high in prices but, they had cool stuff. The menu is hilarious. You have to read all the sandwiches....its comical. Friendly atmosphere and good burgers! Check it out!!
