REVIEWS OF St. Francis IN Arizona

So very delicious!! The Morrocan meatballs were perfectly spicy. It was a wonderful dinner and the Caribbean Therapy drink hit the spot, refreshing and flavorful.

Carrie Cummings

Excellent! Pig dip sandwich is HUGE and can easily be shared by 2. The lemon coconut panacotra is fine dining level good!

Tony DeMatteis

Always enjoy the awesome food.

Hannah Valdini

Loved everything about this place... Food, service, atmosphere especially. Unique and awesome all around!

Dhondi Wiegel

This place has been and always will be a refuge for my soul. Every item on the menu is an experience in taste. Proper size portions, expertly mixed cocktails, have a nice Urban environment. Jazz on Sunday mornings is the best.

Askari C

Great place, food. The service was awesome. Will be going back another time and day. The parmesan shrimp risotto was very delicious.

Barbie Voeller

This is an amazing restaurant with a really lovely atmosphere and vibe truly.

Eddie Knoell

We used to be huge fans of St Francis. With the new ownership I can definitely tell that attention to details isn't a priority. The food was decent but the service was a bit sloppy. Our biggest surprise when we visited recently was how dirty everything was. Dust was everywhere, sticky floors, windows were not clean, just generally a dirty place. I am so sad to see what has become of a great local restaurant. Not sure if I will ever go back again.

mario bates

Excellent atmosphere, cute restaurant, the service is excellent but the food is below par very expensive for bad quality dishes

Michael Decoufle

Some Saturdays have live music. This past was exceptional gentleman playing some awesome tunes... Neil Young, Ray LaMontagne..etc. Not very busy, but the hostess had to slow the seating as the kitchen was backed up. Food was outstanding as always and great cocktails. Will be back.

Cindy Kennemer

It is open for lunch even though it shows as closed. Call ahead to confirm. Great food, great service. I had the forbidden bowl with chicken. It was delicious. The sauce is spicy so get it on the side if you don't like spicy. Will definitely be back.

David Russell

One of our favorite places to bring visiting family—especially those with kids. The Sunday brunch is the best! Sometimes kids eat free, I believe, and the kid’s menu is gourmet. The burgers, Moroccan meatballs, and goat cheese appetizers are bomb.

Matthew Guymon

Ambience was great very cute! Saw the $4 happy hour Stella Artois on their web page and decided to try it out! When we arrived the hostess was amazing and our server was very attentive. Unfortunately when the bill came it was higher than expected and when we asked the manager, Sean, he said they changed prices because other places in the area were higher and they wanted to match. He added that their wine list comes from a specific place in France so they changed all the prices to reflect that as well. I stated that is fine and all but online they're selling at a different price. He said that two weeks ago they came out with a new menu and haven't updated the online menu yet. This is 2019 it doesn't take two weeks to update a menu online. Sean never offered anything but an empty apology and we were left with a very bad taste in out mouths after a delicious meal. The table next to us was saying very similar things about the menu and the selection provided.

Jennifer Lopez

They were out of brunch appetizers. But food we did get was good.

James Huff

This place is really nice, whenever i am come here they gives us very respectful and attractive behavior. food is always fresh and good.

Alexis Koskan

Brunch here - I went to Jazz Brunch, and St Francis (food, service, experience) did not disappoint.

Alvo Gomez

As usual, the food is fantastic! The drinks great!! The servers awesome! LOVE this place! Except the 2nd bathroom. To the Manager: CLEAN the bathroom, grime and rust behind the faucet, grime all along the tiles by the light switch. Toilet paper rolls empty. Hole int wall by the switch , like someone npunched it( at least hang a picture over it in the meantime) Silver waste basket pretty gross, as was the corner of the floor it was sitting in. Wonderful restaurant: please attend to the bathroom. See ya next time!

Jaret Johnson

Food was incredible. Would definitely come back to try other menu items and date night in the near future. Service was very slow, may have been understaffed or hit with several tables at once. We will be back!

Julia M

One of my favorite places to go! Reasonably priced, great atmosphere, and a tasty variety. Thank you St. Francis! (also one of my favorite saints and my patron too)

Ryan O'Donnell

I cant say enough about st francis. We probably go here about once a month just for the seasonal switch ups. The beats (yes, the vegetable, not music) were absolutely excellent. I got a salad and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. The drinks are fantastic, and you can tell the servers are enthused about the things they're serving.

Robert Murray

This place has gone downhill, quickly.

Jake Smith

I took my parents here when they came to visit around Mother's Day, because I had not been here in years and my folks wanted some relatively approachable American / modern American dishes. Although St. Francis is just around the corner from where I live, this visit reminded me why I never eat here. Service was lovely (except for the first recommendation given of the Shrimp Risotto), so no problems there. The food is priced at a premium considering what you are receiving, and I couldn't help but wondering how steep rent or taxes must be in this location to warrant the price of the cuisine. The Shrimp Risotto ($25) included a total of four pieces of shrimp over a cloying mass of al-dente risotto that felt very heavy and tasted musky with parmesan. There was nothing to lighten or brighten the dish, and I would recommend avoiding it, if it stays on the menu for a while. The NY Strip Steaks ($32) were the highlight of the meal, quite tasty and with a nice char. The potatoes and carrots included as sides, however, were bland and haphazardly cooked. Some were pleasantly soft to the bite, while others remained hard and crunchy. A little more attention from the cooks would have gone a long way. Overall, we felt like the meal was a waste of money, and would not recommend it. Not purely for price, of course, as we had spent significantly more the night before at another local spot and been highly satisfied. The attention to detail in flavor and cooking just seems lacking at St. Francis.

the salmon dish was the besr! and the foods great but that guy jordan....smh

david ochoa

Simply the best. Everything was spectacular from service to food.

Mario Kato

Visiting from Texas. Friendly service, kid friendly, reasonably priced. Great drink selection , full bar. place is has a great feel to it. Food menu is limited ,But all the dishes were amazing. Our Table had the meat flat bread pizza, the forbidden rice bowl ,a pork sandwich and a steak. AMAZING! A must stop while visiting

phillip Fox

Good brunch menu. Good service. Excellent food quality.

Amanda Souders

This popular brunch spot has a great patio. Their Bloody Mary is one of the best - spicy with horseradish! Relatively friendly service. Sourdough toast (like French bread) is great. Eggs Benedict with salmon was good but was almost too salty to finish.

Ryan B

Kids used to eat for free here, but not anymore. This place is good for brunch on the weekends, or for a nice dinner on any given evening. The last time I came the service was terrible, despite the fact that there restaurant was only 20% full. I know they’ve had some management changes, and perhaps that’s been a contributor to the slip in quality here. It’s worth a visit, just hedge your expectations. Also, parking is tight, so park at the bank next door on the weekends.

Lauren Huntzinger

Always enjoy the food and enjoyed the brunch with some blues music last visit

Herb Cordley

St Francis is a cool place. I love the open-air side of the restaurant where the bar is and I love the style and decor. It also has a nice little patio. I ordered the Banana Bread Martinin from the brunch menu and it was delicious. I also loved the vegetable flatbread. Their dough for the flatbread and I'm assuming pizzas is just awesome, like what I would taste in Italy I imagine! Took home a scone and it was delicious as well. Also we had a friendly server. It was a bit on the loud side though which I never enjoy at any place. I will definitely return.

David Drinnan

The bartender was wonderful serving us breakfast and coffee on a late Saturday morning. She gave several recommendations, and we landed on the veggie frittata and iron skillet pancake and they both were delicious. And we got at least three refills of coffee, much appreciated. Hope to see y'all again soon!

Stephen VanHerpen

This evening there was excellent service. Prompt, polite, energetic, enthusiastic. Food arrived promptly and was hot. The "Pig Dip" was a disappointing dish. Tasteless, dry, boring. We have had it before, it was awesome then. Morrocan meatballs were nearly indistinguishable from meatballs in marinara. What once was awesome, was surely not this evening.

K V

The food was AMAZING! The owner makes the experience fantastic! We WILL be back

Jose Alcala

It's a great family friendly hipster brunch place... wasn't super-packed on a Saturday and the service and food was amazing.

Chris Meiser

Came for a reservation. Was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. The kitchen and staff we're backed up. No big deal. 25 minutes later checked on our reservation. Was told it would be another 15-20 minutes. Looked around and saw plenty of empty tables. The ones that were occupied had no food. Went to Joyride down the street instead. Got seated immediately with a packed house. Food and drink was great and came quickly. Skip this place and walk down to Joyride :)

Visiting from NY & had the opportunity to enjoy dinner at this amazing restaurant. Food was delicious and love the vibe. The staff & our pony-tailed waitress went above and beyond. Definitely recommend!!!

Ute Allmendinger Poole

Great food, big portions, good service.

Tracy Specht

It was really good and the staff was really friendly. I'm not sure how I got seated at a table with Adam Sandler.

Joe Lupica

Great food. Indoor/outdoor bar has a great vibe...like being on an island.

Terrance Rose

Service was fantastic the food was amazing and fresh. It also had a great atmosphere! We will definitely be going back!!!

Darrell Fox

What an amazing night! The food was amazing ! The service was outstanding! I am fairly well versed in the local wine offerings, and was very surprised at the variety of the offerings on the wine list. Can’t wait to visit again.

LA A

This is an excellent cozy.place yet mant choices if wine! There is breakfast in Sundays with live music in the patio. The seating outside is great in fall winter and spring! The staff are awesome! Food is excellent!

Norvell Harris

Delightful food, however as stated on Yelp this establishment really needs to improve upon it's infrastructure particularly some of the dated interior fixtures. The entire place just needs a refreshing it could jepordize future clientele.

Sara Myers

We have been going here for over 7 years. The food used to be out of this world. Now it's barely mediocre. We went for lunch yesterday after having not been for a couple of years. Wanted to give this place another chance, but it was not good at all. Over cooked and bland. Will not be returning.

James woidyla

While the food was really good, the wait for our appetizer was incredibly long and then when our food FINALLY arrived, my wife's food was cold. She asked me not to say anything because then we'd have to wait even longer for them to refire her order. I would actually give this place a higher rating due to the ambiance, the friendliness of the people that work there, etc., but due to the excruciating wait for food, it receives a two star rating.

Cailey Hale

My go-to special occasion restaurant (without the special occasion price), St. Francis makes you feel like you aren’t in Phoenix anymore. The Forbidden Rice Bowl is a game winner every time!

Jaeyoo Lee

Atmosphere and service were great. The soup and good bread were good but pork sandwich was soso for me.

ejay anderson

I wanted to try this place because their pancake was listed on a list of 50 eats you must try in Phoenix. The pancake on the list was topped with caramelized apples but the pancake I tried had chocolate chips inside and was topped with strawberries and syrup. It was okay but I think it would have been better with the apples because its quite thick and the apples would have supplied some needed moisture. Also, I think it may be a dish best shared as it can be a bit much for one person.

Gavin Hardy

The good: Nice place. Very cool ceiling and lighting in the main area. Waitress was very nice, funny and personable. Fries are amazing. The bad: Food was mostly awful. I got the whiskey jalepeno burger. Bun was dry, burger was dry, I had exactly 3 slices of jalepeno, there was barely any bbq sauce on it. Dry dry dry, it was almost unbearable, had to remove the bun after the first half cuz it was so dryyyyyy. Replacing the deep fried onions with caramelized onions would help a LOT. Also, only 3 slices of jalepeno on a jalepeno burger... Decent place if you just want food to put in your body and don't care what it tastes like.

Joshua Joseph

The owner was amazing saved the night. So when we got there waited for our reservation about 5min before went in and the group in front said they were a party of 12 but they only had a reservation for 6. So the laid gave away are table and when I asked about our reservation she had forgotten about us. We were sat up top witch was cool no one else around us but it took a minute to get water. After that well unroll we got the chicken witch came undercooked 2 times and most the party had finished there dinner. But then the owner came and fixed it all free dessert and made this amazing chicken dish. I will give this place another try.

Benjamin Myers

Incredible drinks and food and happy hour prices on both!

JennSheaAZ Jesse

I've never had a bad meal here. The live music on Sundays is so nice. The kid friendly atmosphere for this Mama is such a bonus. Even more so because there's actually a toy box for kids, which we have contributed to.

William Creamer

A dining experience forAll five senses The dining will awaken your senses, broaden your pallet and encourage you to step out of the Mono-colored shell of food you are in

Tony Starr

Nice menu but service a little slow. Nice live jazz monthly Sundays.

Al Gonzales

1st time there...good food nice atmosphere

Kathie Pearson

Pizza was delicious. Great service. Beautiful old building.

Terry Carter

St. Francis is incredible! These wings are AWESOME!!! The Whiskey Flight is GREAT. Top notch service. Awesome food. Great atmosphere and scenery. Awesome times. AND! THE BREAD PUDDING!!! Get it!!

Kevin Leslie

We go here at least once every other week. The food is great, the staff is friendly and responsive. Even the music is fun! Highly recommended.

Janis Lee

R I P St Francis. I took my newest relocation to Phoenix friends here after bragging about how great it was.... Then we walked in. UGH !! Apparently it sold and OMG it was awful.....No service, No music, No lighting ( asked why the lights and music were off?) The owner was running the floor and had no clue what was going on. He said his server sprained her ankle....I felt for him but I stayed.. Then I waited for a crazy long time for overcooked old flavorless food. The owner needs to sell this place and let someone else bring this cool spot back to life or a whole new concept. Sorry to say this was a embarrassing sad mistake. Dont waste your time or money.

Property Manager

I like the view from the bar. The burger was good and very large. We shared it.

Lorraine Fernandez

Some of the most beautiful plating and food. Feed your eyes and stomach!!

Jose Perez TBE Fitness

The restaurant was perfect for lunch time. It was a very nice clean and modern place. Jerry our server was amazing helpful and quick. We'll definitely be back to try to a different menu!

Kristin C

I enjoyed the brunch at St. Francis. The food was tasty and coffee never got low. I was marginally disappointed with the fairly limited brunch menu but what they offered, they did well!

Bibiana Giovanni

The food is delicious and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is cozy.

roz clark

Friendly hostess, lots of seating Sunday brunches with live music. Food is good.

jeff Zacher

Service was great but slow due to a large wedding party group on the patio. Food was good. I am only giving 3 stars because one of the staff was wearing sandals in the food prep area. This violates state food sanitation regulations

Christopher Bogart

Great food, a tad slow on service the night I was there, but other than that fantastic!

cecil banon

Our meal started with a hint that things would travel the path they did, but I ignored it. When attempting to place our order we were informed they were out of scones. At 9am. On a Saturday. I understand that these things happen but any menu of that size that is 86'd items at the start of breakfast is a troubling sign. We askd our waitress about the toast that came with the meals and were informed it was a crusty sourdough. We asked about the Egg Sandwich and were informed the eggs come Over Medium. We placed our order and received our Sparkling Pineapple Lemonade. This was delicious and sadly the highpoint of our meal. Next came the Cinnamon Roll, deceptively served in a cast iron dish even though it was stone cold. This tasted old and , oddly rather plain even though it had both a frosting and an apparent caramel sauce drizzle. The food arrived and immediatley heralded problems. The American Breakfast did not come with sourdough let alone toast, no this could best be called a crustini of French bread. While it most certainly would have been scrumptious with a bit of Bruschetta, served with two eggs this tiny bit of bread seemed more mocking then adequate. More crustinis were supplied when I asked about the lack of bread. The kids American breakfast came served with scrambled eggs so under cooked that I would be better served referring to them as custard. Upon asking for the custard to be more cooked they returned almost burnt on one side leaving our son uninterested by the poorly cooked mess. Lastly the Egg Sandwich arrived sunny side up and over sauced beyond logicality. It was so smeared with a thick Chipotle sauce it slid apart every bite and left my wifes mouth and insides burning as if in the fiery pits of hell and unable to taste any of the other ingredients. You may want to consider dropping St. from your name as nothing about this meal was heavenly inspired.

Harvey Klar

Didn't look busy but had a 45 minute wait for two, ended up sitting at the bar. The cocktails were good but not great. Food was definitely much better than the drinks, I had the sampler plate from the smoker and every cut of meat was great: chicken, ribs, and brisket. Staff was friendly and courteous. Prices were pretty standard for the type of place that it is. I'd go back

Ember McCall

Amazing food as always. I recommend going for brunch to try them out, they have a fantastic brunch menu, and some Sundays they have love jazz to go with your food. Fully worth the cost. I can't wait to go back.

Barbabas Kevan

Been dying to come here and finally made it for dinner a couple of months back. We decided to start with a margherita flatbread, which was outstanding. Sometimes it's the simple things in life. I was a little more disappointed with dinner. I ordered the roasted chicken. It came in a cast iron dish which never allowed it to cool down and honestly made it a little challenging to eat.

Joe Specht

The wait staff was super friendly and said that I looked like Adam Sandler... I think it's a complement...

Ashlee Smith

Food is good. I wish the corn bread portion was a bit bigger. Too tasty to be so small (my opinion).

Veronica Kwiatkowski

Excellent food with gluten free and vegan options. As I have a casein & egg allergy, would like to see more vegan options, including, perhaps, muffins or waffles. Had a salad with shrimp & it was delicious.

Jenni Gonzalez

Worst experience ever. Called to make a reservation and upon arrival they forgot to make our reservation and all they did was kick us out that there was nothing they could do even tho we had prove that we made the reservation. They wanted to seat us outside with 2 baby's.. Really disappointed..

James Jones

This is a cool little place. Good food and our server was very nice. They have a limited menu until five, then they start serving dinner

Elizabeth Diez

Parmesan truffle fries...mic drop.

Rae Lynn Flippo

Sid, the server was wonderful and attentive. The food was good tho a little pricey. Have the cookie! It was awesome!

April Gallegos

Food tastes great, no matter what you have!

Talia Green

Great food and great service. I absolutely love the atmosphere as well. One of my favorite spots to come to in Phoenix

Nick Melillo

Great brunch menu. Highly suggest getting the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon!

Colette Lewis

I was disappointed. The server was friendly however, it took way too long for our food to arrive at the table. We were here for brunch. Ordered an egg sandwich and a piece of quiche. It sat under a heat lamp too long. The plates were scorching hot so the greens that should have been cool and crispy were warm and wilted. Worse we spent over $30 and went away hungry.

Tony Miller

exceptional service and great food

Dustin Bua

Excellent food great service and what a wonderful atmosphere!

Kirk Nervig

It takes a lot to impress me. I was impressed, and we'll return.

Jennifer Smith

My first visit to St. Francis, came mostly to hear Dennis Rowland sing and play. Great music! The restaurant is small, and reservations are necessary for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is casual/chic: bring the kids, don't wear a tie, but you'll be more comfortable in stylish attire than that ratty t-shirt you wore the last time you changed the oil. The food: menu selection is modest, portions are enough to satisfy without weighing you down, and flavors are delicious. I've never had better roasted potatoes, and my mushroom omelette was jazzed up with bits of onion and just a touch of some yummy sauce that added a bit of smokey delight. Our only complaint was that the wait staff was a bit stingy with the water--needed to ask three different times (and three different people) to have my companion's water refilled before any water appeared. Phoenix + summer = very thirsty customers! So, only 4 stars from me.

Robin Acosta

This place is great they have a top chef from New York City that is cooking it up and doing a wonderful job I would definitely recommend you going here

Marissa Hill

Came for brunch, and they charged us twice for our meal. We called and let them know and they said they would follow up but never did (over a week ago) Also my boyfriend ordered the Benedict which was supposed to have shrimp. On the menu it says with chorizo or avocado and there was no shrimp, only avocado for $15. The server acknowledged it was misleading and didn’t even warn us when we were ordering.

mike cicconetti

The food was well worth the 30 minute drive. The atmosphere was great for brunch. Staff made me feel very comfortable and welcome. GREAT PLACE!

Tori Ee

Went with my favorite Orthotic Specialists! I Am hooked. So good!

Bobby Dick

I had seen the pig dip recently on Diners drive-in and dives. Because of traffic it was only a little out of my way and I am glad I detoured. The champagne vinagerette was wonderful and the sandwich was huge. I ate it open face eating only half the bread as it was too big to stick into my mouth.

Dr. Rodrigo Silva

We were there for lunch, during the week. The server was really friendly and on the ball. I usually drink club soda which is not easy to keep refilling for make servers, he did. The food is of excellent quality. I would give five stars if the menu was a bit more varied. There is one vegan option, a black rice bowl, delicious! Of course, there are salads.

Leslie Williams

Good service and food

Michael Eblin

This was one of our favorite restaurants and since the new ownership, the food quality has really dropped. We will likely never go back. Very disappointed. The service was still very good.

john Sherrill

Great food good service

Thomas Rawls

This place is hard to spot if you don't know about it but the atmosphere here is nice and relaxing. The staff help you feel right at home. I had the French toast with a side of eggs and I really enjoyed the quality of the food. I didn't feel too full or bloated after so the portions we're perfect. The coffee certainly isn't your average cup of Joe and it almost has an interesting floral taste. Overall I think the experience is worth a visit and I will be going back.

Claudia Lopez

This is a nice little place. A little pricey but the happy hour has good deals. Service is good. Would go back.

Vicki Ullery

No one in there and we were virtually ignored by 3 servers who were chatting with one another. Walked out. Bad, bad service.

Bethany Patrick

My chorizo omelette was delicious, although slightly cheese heavy for me. The service was prompt, and the food arrived quickly. I would recommend to others.

Ryan Hoffman

Great food. The atmosphere is a little noisy, but the menu is excellent.

Carl Thoemmes

Visited here for dinner with friends. They have a wonderful menu with some interesting and unique options. We got a few dishes to share and everything was delicious! Neat decor inside, some games for children to play with. Prices are really reasonable given the quality of the dishes here. Great experience all around.

Ryan Keliilani

The food is locally sourced and delicious. The menu is diverse. And the wait staff was Top Notch.

Mike Roth

wow. quality of food is top. clean fast and quick service

Bradley Lantz

Wasn't impressed with the pig dip sandwich. The bun was too thick, and the meat was clumped together. Half the sandwich was eaten, and most of the meat was gone...

melissa wanslee

Have enjoyed meals here before but this visit was not in that category. Favorite dish Salmon Super food is off the menu! Asked waitress if two salmon dishes on the menu were cooked similarly to salmon Super food and was told yes! It wasn't! The way the salmon was cooked was delicious - slight crispy on top of salmon slice. Also noisy inattentive wait staff. A great restaurant no longer . . .

abel llamas

We come from Maricopa and the food this time was small. Piggy dip was a joke before we can take half home now we have to lick the plate. Its no good would not recommend to anyone anymore. No wonder it is empty. Maybe the same people stop coming. As for me no longer desire to come here.

della arthur

This American restaurant serves the best food that will surely fit the taste buds of every American people and to those people who truly love to eat American foods. One of the best restaurant you have to dine in when you're in town. Freshly cooked food and freshly made drinks and everything. I did enjoy the food and I will for sure come back. See you!

Rachel Ewell

Highly enjoyed Jazz Brunch this Sunday. Don’t slack on ordering the cinnamon roll - delicious! I thought the service was friendly and very responsive. New favorite spot!

Barton Dobbs

This place just delivers, that's all there is to it. I come to Phoenix once a year for work and St Francis is always spot on. Great kale salad with Brussels sprouts and pomegranates to start with and I again had the Moroccan Meatballs for an entree - this dish of warm semi-spicy tomato greatness is worthy of taking a bath in. Beer and wine list is well thought out and the service is fantastic. The employees here really LIKE working here....something that's not always easy to find. Sit at the bar outside on a nice night - it's great. One of my favorite restaurants in the country, no doubt.

Emory Dickerson

They have entertainment during brunch on the first sunday of each month.

rafael castro

Amazing place for a romantic dinner, enjoying Architectural features! Pizza and beer are great!

Carmen T. D'Amore, Sr.

They're under new management, what a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. They changed they're signature sandwich (Pig Dip) the bread is terrible. Sorry to say we won't be back. At this rate they'll be out of business very soon. What a shame. We use to live the place.

Amy Loehr

Great food and atmosphere

Valerie Botta

Great food. The Pig Dip was delicious!

Kristine Poulson

The crispy cauliflower steak was really good! The goat cheese dip, nothing to write home about. Cute atmosphere, good cocktails! Service was fine.

Fran Kelly

Affordable with delish liquor choices. Will recommend to many!!!

Steven Lasater

My wife and I had a great time tonight. It was hot inside but not uncomfortable for us. It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised. All the food was great and very tasty. A depth of flavour that is so often missed at other places wanting our food dollars. We will be back for sure.

Ordered Scallops. Got 3 scallops for $30. Shrimp risotto $18, got 4 shrimp. Salads were extra. High prices for super small portions. Won't go back.

TAVIERRE FREEMAN

Food was delicious and the staff were friendly. We did not wait long to be seated and I really liked the atmosphere.

Daniel Steddum

This used to be my favorite spot. To the point I would be there at least every other weekend, my fiancée and I had so many celebrations here including our first date and we we even want to hold our rehearsal dinner there. I would order two servings of my meal. I loved the management, the wait staff and obviously the food. Not anymore. Then new ownership came in and ruined it. YOU DO NOT BUY A PHOENIX STAPLE LIKE THIS AND CHANGE EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOOD ABOUT IT! The wait staff tried to tell me that the meal I had been ordering two of per sitting for the last four years hadn’t changed and would never change, it did. Not only did it change they removed it from the menu less than a month later.

Beverley Rowley

Excellent fish

Earl BRICKER

food was good , but didnt have certain item that they where out off

Anthony Sichi

Drinks were a bit weak. Food was good but nothing spectacular. Service was slow.

Scott VandenElzen

Great food in an eclectic venue!

Paul andDeb

Cool place

Eric Zoller

Good hideaway to have an excellent meal, with many different interesting munue items to choose from. Ask and listen to your server in my case he was dead on in his suggestion a different twist to an old favorate green chili concarni. We will be back.

susan sutherland

I know I can order the forbidden rice with salmon and it's going to be delish.

niharika h

Excellent boozy Sunday brunch spot. Friendly servers, great food, and live music on sundays!!!!

Kari Litteer

I wish they had more vegan options but, man, that forbidden rice dish they have is to die for!

The Traveling Phoenix

The service was slow. There was lipstick on the coffee mug when it was delivered. It then took another 10 minutes to get a new cup of coffee. My food was lukewarm when it arrived. I don't think I would go back for brunch. I did hear their dinner was better. We initially sat outside but the metal tables we way to hot. Not sure why a place in Arizona would ever have metal tables.

Griffin Luxford

Easily one of the best restaurants in Central Phoenix. I've eaten here three times with my family and each visit has been a five-star experience. The food and cocktails are superb and the service is top-notch. Our server during this most recent visit was Shelley and she went above and beyond our already high expectations.

Chad Kubik

Such a cool place!!! If you have a chance, sit outside by the fireplace. The food was great and we cannot wait to go back.

Cristina Correa

It's a very nice place & the food is delicious!

Justin Porter

Quaint little spot. Love the wine and pizza.

Anna Jeckering

My husband and I grabbed lunch here after visiting a farmers market nearby. I remembered this place from years ago when I visited with my friend and I remembered really liking it. The server was extremely friendly and although they seemed pretty busy for brunch, the service was prompt and attentive. The food was good, I ordered eggs Benedict with salmon and my husband got a burger. I'd definitely come back.

Ron Peoples

Diverse menu with everything from steaks to wood fired dishes .I had the pig dip sandwich, very good. The service was good

Joey Hinton

Good restaurant with nice atmosphere. Small selection of items on the menu but everything looked interesting. Pork loin was great. Not a big fan of getting potato chips on a main course but all good. Would definitely go back.

Alan Gardner

One of the best restaurants in Phoenix in this price range in my opinion. The building is a beautiful, modern, two story building with a patio and a small bar. The menu has variety but is not overwhelming, and I've tried maybe six things on the menu and they are always delicious. Service is a also very good. On two different occasion my entree or dessert was paid for by the manager- once because they ran out of the first thing I ordered and another time because the food was taking a long time, which it really wasn't. I never complained or anything. The staff is clearly very proactive about giving good service. I would definitely recommend this place to food lovers or somebody not sure what they are in the mood for.

Timothy Kelster

The food got really bad recently. I was coming here often for some good burgers but unfortunately I wasn't satisfied at all my last time. One of my favorite was a French onion burger with fries and cheese. The meat had a weird aftertaste and wasn't cooked up the the standards. Initially I asked for a medium done but it was really dry and over cooked. The fries weren't as crisply as they used to be. So I'm not sure what happened to this burger place. Perhaps the change of ownership influenced the quality of the food. Won't come here again.

Nick Smith

Stopped in before my dinner for an appetizer and to check the place out. I was really happy with my choice to stop here. They had a great selection to choose from. And based off looking around it was home cooked style meals. Nothing seemed to look like it would taste bad. I personally had the meatballs as an appetizer and it was super filling. I cant wait to come back and try more from this place

John Harrigan

One of the best places for brunch.

Chad Campbell

Amazing ambience, food, drink, and service. Doesn't get much better than this.

Michael Joseph

A tale of 2 situations. We were sat upstairs - we were the only party up there. Service was slow, but the server was good. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The burgers were cooked well, but could have been seasoned better. Buns were a bit charred. Chicken was not cooked. Owner got involved, fixed the problem, and gave us free dessert. Will come back soon.

Jeff Wallick

Friendly staff. Relatively attentive. Food quality was low. Food sat under a heat lamp for awhile and that was pretty obvious. Served cold coffee and charged for a refill. 1/3 of an avocado was a $2 addition and no explanation of that beforehand. I felt ripped off. Place sucks.

Jaclyn Kwiatkowski

This is a super unique place! Great brunch choices and a really neat upstairs!

Zachariah Gillespie

I have been enjoying St Francis for years as well as a former bartender. This is still hands down one of my favorite places to celebrate special events or spoil myself with a delicious meal. My perfect meal is a Santa Rosa cocktail, fingerling potatoes and The Salmon Super food; with a sticky toffee pudding for dessert.

tracy mulembo

We made reservations for Father's Day. When we arrived the hostess was rude and told us they were over booked and would have to wait 30 minutes regardless of a reservation. We waited about 20. My kids ordered the skillet pancake which came out hard as a rock. My dad's egg benedict was burned, my cinnamon roll was tasteless. My sister found something floating around in her baked eggs. The manager tried to make up for it with free tiramisu but even that was gross. Needless to say we won't be back.

Kaelyn McCord

St.Francis is simply superb! The food is delicious and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming for people of all ages, even larger parties and families! I enjoyed spending my anniversary here for a good meal. The service is second to none and the waitstaff is always friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a great time!

Nice place but pricy (paid $120). My gf and her mom joined me. We started by splitting the goat cheese starter (delicious). I ordered the forbidden salmon rice (a little charred and burnt veg but the salmon was perfectly cooked med rare), filet minion with mash (perfect med rare steak with delicious spinach garlic mash), and their meat balls (not your Italian meatball, but delicious). We finished by splitting the panna cotta with was ok - I’ve tasted far far better at the price. I’ll come back to try the burgers - saw a lot of people ordering those.

One of the best places for brunch.

Amazing ambience, food, drink, and service. Doesn't get much better than this.
