It's a hotel (granted higher end for Flagstaff) restaurant/bar. The food caters to tourists but generally tastes fine. A gourmand might be disappointed with the flavor and texture combinations, but the amount is substantial for all but the voracious. The specialty cocktails, however, hit the palate like a jackhammer. Rosemary, elderflower, and prickly pear could all be used to great effect, but they are more like a punch to the face than a slap and tickle to the taste buds.

Husband and I are team truck drivers and it is always a treat to stop here and have a nice dinner. We are never disappointed. Tonight we had a special waiter. His name was Alex and he is one of the managers. Because the restaurant was really busy with several large groups Alex pitched in and waited on us. He was pleasant and enjoyable to talk with. Definitely will always return and hopefully to say hi to Alex. Thank you!

We had incredibly high expectations but that was the highlight of the entire experience. While the staff was friendly, they were inattentive. The waiter did not return at all after our food was brought out to us. We ended up waiting 20 min after finishing our food before we got our bill. The food left a lot to be desired. My husband ordered the ribeye and was brought a cheeseburger instead which had no seasoning whatsoever. We could have gotten a better burger from just about any fast food location. I ordered the pasta with chicken which was very dry and appeared to have been reheated. The quality did not at all match up to the overpriced cost of the meal. I would not recommend this location at all.

We stayed at Little America the location of this restaurant. Service was good, food just ok, nothing special, but quite expensive. I wouldn't eat there again because of both. I expect food that expensive to be wonderful and decent sized portions. $10 for what amounts to 1/3 of a glass of wine is ridiculously overpriced We had Mexican food for dinner the next evening for a lot less money, and better tasting

I enjoyed the food from here. Does the classics very well, and I liked the holiday drink list. I'd say it was even better as room service as it came very quickly! Kids buffet is great idea though, I wish adults could get it as the mac n cheese was great!

Great ambiance, very friendly waitstaff, and very good food! We stayed the night at the Little America hotel, so ate here for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Our waitress for dinner was friendly, efficient and provided excellent recommendations for appetizers and entrees. Tempura fried green beans, romaine salad and spaghetti with homemade bolognese were all amazing! Our breakfast at the buffet was just as good the next morning. Great hostess and waiter, nice selection on the buffet, with omelets and eggs that could be ordered through our waiter. My son loved the chorizo scrambled eggs and his meal was free as he's under 5. All in all, great hidden gem. We'll be back!

This place does not mess around with fries. 'Sidewinder' fries means delicious, curvy, fried potatoes that you'll be thinking about the next day. We highly recommend two sandwiches; Chef Eduardo's Shaved Ribeye and the Turkey & Brie Melt. We couldn't decide so we got both and traded halves. You cannot go wrong with either! The atmosphere alluded to a more sophisticated style but the menu and patrons in snowsuits begged to differ. Very relaxed menu, delicious drinks (Prickly Pear Margarita if you're looking a cocktail), kind and helpful waitstaff, and the Christmas trees were magical. Don't forget to order a piece of chocolate cake

Here on 1/5/19 @ 8pm, the establishment it self deserves a 5, dined in the silver pine restaurant bar area and the waitress is so bad its pathetic! Waited forever for our drinks and had to get her attention to order them, when she took our order there was no eye contact, she was smug, non personable and acted like we inconvenienced her. Its employees like her that make guest like me that works for tips sick. Dont know if I will return, it will depend on the food. The food was delicious and we returned for breakfast, our waitress was excellent, service was great and the food delicious. Last night's waitress can take lessons from Ari, she is what a waitress should be. Great job Ari and thank you!

The atmosphere was very pleasant. The live music for Valentine's day added to the upscale ambiance. I had the parmesan crusted halibut and my date had the filet. Both were delicious. The dessert was a cherry cobbler, a bit over sweet for my taste, but overall didn't detract from the experience. I would happily return.

Loved the avocado toast with eggs! Prefectly balanced for a traveling or sitting day. Note prices for breakfast same as in the room without the added fees. My friends of the GFOAz will enjoy this little gem in Flagstaff. Rooms are roomy and clean enjoyed our stay.

What they make, they make well. Except the strawberry "shortcake' here means biscuit. Literally everything else was perfect to me. Great fish tacos. Haven't felt so good eating something in a long time. Stir fry was good. I mean GOOD. 4.2 STARS. A little too many pineapple bits for me, but you could always ask for less. IMO half of what they use would be perfect. I hope I can stop by on one of my next trips accross America.

We came to this place as a last resort since it was late. The waiter wasn't as pleasant. We got the Turkey dish and some Chicken wings. The Turkey was a bit dry, the stuffing was probably the best thing on this dish. The mash potatoes were bland and the green beans were meh (is that a word?). The Chicken wings were delicious though.

My fiance and me had an incredible experience here.. they had a Christmas brunch that was out of this world. Wait staff was very professional and very well dressed. We were checked on regularly and our coffees were always full. The buffet was fantastic, chocolate fountain at the dessert table, king snow crab legs and jumbo shrimp, fresh tuna. The breakfast bar was great fresh eggs Benedict, sausage and bacon and tons more. They even made a kids buffet line, so adorable. Also had cooks to make whatever kind of style omelet, the freshes shrimp scampi, crepes and fresh flaming mignon. They definitely went all out.

Went here for a nice Friday night dinning with my wife. We both had the prime rib and some cocktails. Seating was fabulous and the place was perfect for my wife and I to recap our week and discuss upcoming events. This is a very classy place to eat and have a quite conversation. If your looking for a date night with your spouse that gives you a feeling of escaping for the weekend yet realistically the kids are just down the road with the babysitter this is a perfect option; I recommended it. This was my first time using online reservation. It streamlines dinning plans on busy Flagstaff Friday evening; highly recommended, and which I will certainly use in the future.

Oh my gosh! This is a well kept secret! We haven't been here in several years because we just weren't really fans. But they have done a remodel and moved the restaurant from when we were last here. Wow! It is beautiful! We had breakfast out on the patio by a little waterfall. The menu has great selections and is very reasonably priced. The food was great and service very attentive and friendly. We checked the lunch and dinner menus. Great selections too, but not the usual that you can get anywhere, which I like. Everything is made in-house, so it is very fresh and tasty. I think this is a new favorite!

Large, very nice dining room, with exceptionally comfortable chairs. Staff is very friendly. Bathrooms in the hallway right outside the restaurant entrance are the nicest in Flagstaff. So they got that going for them. Neither my wife or I were pleased with our entrees. Food was wholesome, but in both cases overly sweet. This is a family restaurant, and it seemed that we ordered children's dishes. My pasta Bolognese was just tomato sauce to which ground beef was added. If I learned that the sauce was Ragu brand from a jar it would not surprise me. It was very sweet. Kids would love this dish. The garlic bread was the whitest of white supermarket white bread. Soft and spongy. Everything was presented very professionally, so the kitchen staff obviously does take pride in their work. My wife's chicken and vegetables stir fry was also very sweet. Chicken was cooked just right, and the vegetables were good quality and fresh, but there was too much of the sweet sauce for our taste, and I saw no signs of actual stir frying. Everything seemed steamed. Jasmine rice tasted off; was it instant? I've had much worse, and many people would love these dishes, but if I go again I'd stick with basics like the hamburgers. I do recommend the green bean tempura appetizer; it was very good.

We went for Valentine's dinner this year for the first time after a horrific experience about five years ago. This experience was the exact opposite. Everything (and I'm not exaggerating) was perfect. From the service to the food, everything was perfect. Perfectly timed, perfectly cooked, and we felt perfectly taken care of. We are so happy to have had that experience because we love the Little America Hotel and we're so happy to be able to look forward to all of their events and choosing this amazing place for staycations! We do miss their sign with the penguin..it was historic! Maybe it could be put on display somewhere.

I REALLY WANT TO LOVE THIS PLACE. Little America is very close to our hearts. We LOVE the property. The Silver Pine is usually not just bad, but borders on tragic. We come twice a year, and for some reason we give it another shot with fingers crossed that something has improved, but, no. For example, this time, I ordered eggs Benedict. It is supposed to come with a choice of fruit or potatoes. I ordered potatoes. Server says they are out of potatoes, but, if they "get more in", he will bring along with the fruit. I told him, please don't bring fruit, it will go to waste. Food is delivered, mine and my husband's came with fruit, even though we both ordered potatoes and/or NO fruit. Our kids' meal is delivered with potatoes?!? Not even supposed to, btw. Also, they put my eggs Benedict on white toast instead of english muffin. Apparently it is because we ordered a side of white toast and the kitchen, "got confused". What?! The manager, in the meantime is just standing around instead of helping clear tables, make sure guests are good, refilling drinks... I could go on and on... tragic.

This is one of my favorite places to stop and eat while traveling through Flagstaff. I never pass the place up. Never had a bad meal here and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a great place to relax and has all the comforts of home. Better bring your wallet because you will pay a price for what you get. My wife had two glasses of wine with our salad lunch and we spent a hundred bucks. Kinda to steep for what we ordered. But very tastey. Cleanest restroom on the road . The outside eating area is very relaxing.

Had breakfast and dinner there. If I was just reviewing dinner this would have been five star. I got a special of a Bass and Mushroom Risotto which was amazing. my husband had a steak and it was the most tender and delicious steak ever. I had eggs Benedict and fruit for breakfast. The fruit wasn't cut in a very appealing way, very uneven and hard to eat and Hollandaise sauce was mediocre.

I marked one star because I could not choice zero stars. The menu included lots of breakfast options for reasonable prices. When we arrived, however, the only breakfast they offered was the buffet for $15. That is far to much money for the sad selection on the buffet line, which was smaller than most complimentary breakfast at other hotels. We went elsewhere.

I needed to get out of the heat of Phoenix for a couple of days so I reserved a room at Little America. I really like this hotel and restaurant, and looked forward to a relaxing stay. I was not disappointed. The room was very clean and quiet. After checking in I went to the restaurant for some very delicious grilled fish tacos. They were really outstanding! I am never disappointed by the meals I have had here. After lunch I walked the two-mile trail through the Ponderosa pines. For dinner I had probably the most delicious rib-eye steak I have ever eaten. Perfectly grilled and seasoned, it couldn't have been better. Denver omelette for breakfast with hash browns and coffee and I was off, back to the heat of the Valley of the Sun! This hotel and restaurant is the perfect place to stay when you just want to park the car and never have to go anywhere else for a while. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, and the staff is well trained and efficient.

Friendly staff, beautiful dining room. New York Strip was perfect, the mashed potatoes were amazing, and the Strawberry Basil Burbonade was so good! If you're ever in Flagstaff, come here. It can get a little pricey, but well worth it.

This was once a favorite place to eat. My review is based on a lunch. They have changed the menu and eliminated a few salads my wife appreciated. The onion rings now have thick breading. The burger sauce has changed to something more like a thousand island. The staff is still very friendly and pleasant. The setting is beautiful. I hope they will reconsider their changes.

We ordered desserts, he had key lime, and I had creme brulee. I tasted his and was delicious (I don't like key lime) but his was so good. I ate all of mine. It was very light and creamy. We are definitely returning.

We stopped for lunch and one of the chicken sandwiches was under cooked (cold and pink inside). Told waiter and she said she told manager but we did not get a new sandwich, response, or apology. . . . Just the bill at full price and tip included already. Not typical Little America Standards. 2 stars because the other meals were ok.

The food is always good, and the restaurant itself is so nice. The service can be slow at times, which is the only reason I'm giving them a 4 out of 5. Otherwise, it's a nice place to eat, and definitely worth it when you're staying at Little America.

Our breakfast experience was very enjoyable. Buffet and white egg omelet ordered. Very professional and classy wait staff. Buffet was well stocked and delicious, cheese blitzes were my favorite. Kids 4 and under buffet for free which is a great deal.

My and friend and I found this restaurant by looking at reviews on Google. I didn't know it was in a hotel, so we passed it the first time. The food was AMAZING and our server was excellent! Amanda was very attentive to our needs the entire time we were there, and she was well versed about the foods. The manager even came by to check on us. I would highly recommend the shaved steak sandwich and the special cut fries if you're wanting a sandwich. This is a great place to dine!

Worthless after breakfast. We have enjoyed the breakfast at the Silver Pine Restaurant several times. We decided that we like it so much we would visit for dinner. We made the mistake of going there for our first anniversary. The service was slow and inattentive. My husband ordered the Filet Mignon and wanted it medium. It came out well done, and so after waiting for 10 minutes to get the waiters attention, we sent it back. It took 45 minutes for them to replace the steak and by then we had to leave. So they boxed it up and still charged full price. I called and talked to the manager who said they were busy and would return or phone call. They didn't. It ruined our anniversary dinner, hopefully you don't go there for a special occasion (or at all).

During our stay at Little America Hotel, we had the breakfast buffet at this restaurant and it was tasty! They offered pancakes, french toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, cereal, toast, and even waffles. Service could have been better; it seemed there weren't enough staff to meet the demand so they were very busy. The restaurant has beautiful outdoor views (and seating) and even though it's been modernly-remodeled, it pays homage to the past (built in 1973) with the lights and shape of the roof. All-in-all, this is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner during your stay. We will be back!

My first time coming here. Thought I'd give it a try, though I'm not much of a steak person. I went with the burger, it was good. Not too pricey either. The waiter was very nice. If I'm out this way again I will definitely return here. I also loved the old style wooden tables and the cabin type feel.

Enjoyed $5.00 burger Monday. Burger and house made chips, for a fiver. Happy hour all day, and for those discerning vegetarian palates, Real Vegetable Meat is available for a few bucks more, and quite tasty.

Great service and beautiful location. Had the breakfast buffet a couple of mornings- was very happy with the variety of food....loved the breakfast burritos. Had dinner there as well...the food and drinks were great!! And I didn't have to worry about a ride home!!
