We have all the feddbacks of people who buy the services and products of Rutherford\'s 66 Family Diner (Restaurant) in Arizona area.
Right now the firm has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 and that rating is based on 920 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average of ratings is quite high, and it's founded on a large number of scores, so we can be quite sure that the valuation is very faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their opinion when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Diner.
Got food poisoning. I'm sad. I really wanted to like this place because of the family diner atmosphere. Maybe it was a one time thing but I can't go back for awhile.
We stopped here due to Yelp reviews. We are glad we stopped! The food is QUITE good. We got the Mickey Mouse pancakes with bacon. It is a great deal at $3.50! Another child got a short stack and added the 2 eggs and 2 sausage. Another child get a cheeseburger with fries. She is autistic and specifically said she wanted extra fries and the waitress was sweet enough to ask the cook to throw in a few extra. <3 I got the patty melt and hubby got a 50/50 burger. My husband said the 50/50 burger was REALLY REALLY good (his words...LOL). He said it was like meatloaf without the seasoning. That the burger was a bit softer in texture and a bit fatty. He LOVED it! I got the Patty Melt. The hamburger was delicious! My only ONE POSSIBLE critic is that the onions were not really caramelized as I would expect for a patty melt as they were more sauteed until soft and translucent. The meat was wonderful and so was the rye. You do not see rye served much anymore but it is one of my favorite breads! The kids LOVED the cheeseburger SO MUCH we had to order ANOTHER cheeseburger and fries that they shared! LOL I would highly recommend this restaurant. Expect to spend about $12-$15 per person for your food, tax, and tip as we spent about $68 for 5 people. We founds out from a staff member that the building was initially the third Denny's ever built in the US! Neat trivia fact!
Great diner, not too loud, quick and friendly service and the food is pretty good! I enjoyed the atmosphere and I'd definitely come back just for a booth next to the window. You can just stare at the open mountains while eating and relax.
Food was good. Crowded in peak hours but worth the wait. Service was very good.
Food was okay. My chicken salad was ok. A bit over cooked & tough. Will try again, maybe.
Always great for food, service, and hospitality. One of my favorites!!!
Just what you would expect from a family diner, great burgers and very friendly staff.
Only one star because zero isn't an option. Terrible food, would never go back!
Great portion sizes, fair prices, family style service. My potatoes were a little undertone but the rest of the meal was great.
Great food, served hot, friendly service. Hard to go wrong.
I got the BLT. It was good, but I had a bite of my friends Honey Mustard Chicken and then had to reevaluate my entire life choices because it had brought me to the moment where I picked the BLT over the Honey Mustard Chicken. It was amazing! I took one star off because our chocolate milkshakes were more like drinking chocolate milk. I'm eating here every time on my way through town!
Service was friendly with a smile and the good was great.
The food wasn't that good and the price was too high. It could use a good face lift. Don't change the decor because it's on the historical Route 66, but it should look and feel clean.
Great food, and nice people
Nice little Diner, great food-great service and kid friendly!
It’s a wanna be JB’S , food wasn’t bad but by far from anything I’d wanna eat more then once a year. Slow service , never asked about a refill or anything. Look like a bunch of people running around really not knowing how to do serve, maybe new management would help this place.
Love this restaurant. Great food, nice staff! I work at a hotel and always recommend this place for them to go have a good meal
Unfortunately, this was advertised in our KOA flyer. Guess you could say they are hit or miss...this is not worth stopping for. The waitress is sweet as pie bur the food was worse than fast food. They didn't even have half of what was offered in the menu.
Cool little route 66 themed diner. Wait staff was friendly. Food was good. Had breakfast.
Best breakfast in town from a family owned and operated diner. Highly recommend the Country Benedict for breakfast and the Wellington sandwich for lunch.
Great old fashioned dinner. Well made breakfast. I really liked the country potatoes.
Good place, quick service. The owners are friendly good people. Busy place usually. Good sign of quality food. Cute building and has been done for outside eating when weather permits.
Cute diner along Route 66. Good food, plentiful portions.
Had the all you can eat fish & chips, it was beyond great, waiters/ waitress was sweet and kept the drinks filled. If I could give them more stars I would. Go there you won't be disappointed!!!
Always great food people that work there are great good value
Good food and great service. Fair prices too. Thanks. .
Bad meal! Burnt the bacon in my burrito still served it to me! Unable to eat it! Showed it to my waitress Charged me for my meal First time eating at this restaurant will never return!!
Overall not too bad. The place looks a little too worn down. The food was fairly good, not great but really good.
Food was good and watress was great but I gave her a fifty and lunch was $28 and change she brought me back $21 dollars back how was I supposed to give her a tip anything else but $1. I'm so sorry.
Great breakfast. Food and portions were very good, staff friendly and attentive and the restaurant was clean and orderly. We'll definately return the next time we're passing through.
Cute little cafe style diner. The food is pretty good but definitely doesn't hold up to the price they charge. They have their own spin on a breakfast burrito, it wasn't what I was expecting. Extremely spicy, my mouth was on fire! I had no idea it was going to be so hot. So, if you are looking for a traditional breakfast burrito this is not your place. They add jalapenos, peppers, and smother your breakfast burrito in red sauce and serve it with beans (the beans look old). It is okay but not what I was expecting at all.
REALLY good Chicken Fried Steak and Meatloaf. Family was happy
Great service and Good food fair prices for the food. Good coffee and cold coffee too. I ordered the blt sandwich with fries and my hubby had the same thing.
Obviously family owned- it shows because they are always cleaning and working. There's not a lot of standing around or goofing off. This place probably gets overlooked because it's not on the freeway and it's older, but that's unfortunate because it has good food and friendly service!
Local place. Good food and good portions. Love Alexis as our server.
3 had hamburgers on Kaiser rolls, I had the Wellington Prime Rib sandwich on a hoagie roll. All with fries. All very good. I am glad we chose to eat there.
Great locally owned and operated diner. They have never disappointed!
It's exactly how you would picture a route 66 diner. It had the classic atmosphere with a friendly staff. The only reason why it doesn't get a 5 star is due to the coffee; it tasted more like watered down mud... but hey, it's diner coffee. Their omelets taste like home cooking and our waitress was very efficient at keeping our drinks full. Definitely recommend checking it out if ever gettin' your kicks on route 66
Our family of 6 found something on the extensive menu for all of our tastes. We did a comparison between Rutherford’s and Mr. D’z and overall we liked the food at Rutherford’s better. But, we liked the atmosphere at Mr. D’z as well as the fries. The Chocolate Shakes at Rutherford’s are excellent old fashioned shakes!!!
Always great food and service.
This diner has become our favorite place to eat every time we visit Kingman. If you eat at Rutherford's, you will never again eat at Denny's or Village Inn. Every item on their eclectic menu is more delicious than you expected it to be, served with a smile, and the prices are very reasonable. Anyone on a nostalgic drive along the historic Route 66 should stop by Rutherford's for a great meal. See you there!
Great food! Good spot to stop at when coming through town
The food was amazing the service was also just fantastic
First times here and I had the southwest chicken sandwich and fries that was really good. I highly recommend this place
Good food good atmosphere
Awesome food and prices are pretty good too!
Great food, great people I'm not easily impressed, but I felt peaceful.
Such a cool place. Good food and friendly service.
Food was good, staff was friendly but prices were kind of high
Waited for like awhile for them to take my order. Other people came in after me and got their order first. What i ordered off the menu wasn't at all what I ordered. But it's nice for maybe couples. Stay with the burgers and fries
Excellent food ,fast service. It's an older building don't let that put you off. It's a little bit off the main freeway it's on old route 66 but worth the 5-minute drive. Lots of food for a very reasonable price! Very nice people and an old-time diner feel!
Out of the way family restaurant with great food!
Best steak sandwich I've ever had!!
Such a cool place to go!! Good food with an even better vibe, loved it!!
Traveling through Kingman we looked for a good breakfast, went here based on reviews. The place may have been cute 30; years ago, but it is totally worn down. Even if it is old, it could be kept clean. It was 9AM. Only 2 other couples in the place. It took way too long to make our breakfast. The waiter kept apologizing. We ordered the Greek omelet and Mexican chorizo skillet. Both were way over cooked. The potatoes were way over cooked, not edible. I could eat only half my Greek omelet. Took the rest home in our cooler. I got violently sick to my stomach later that night. I haven’t had such a bad reaction to food since I went to Mexico 9 years ago. I thought it was only me until my husband ate the other half, then he got violently sick to his stomach. No we will not recommend this place, nor go again.
Service was very unpleasant. Waitress was rude and rolled her eyes while ordering food. Seemed rushed and upset. Left and went to Callicos restaurant instead, what a difference. Service was wonderful and they were pleased to have our business.
If there were only more stars... this place is great!! Great good.. great ppl... great atmosphere.. and being a grandmother of a United States soldier.. I am deeply grateful for the support this place shows for our country and our troops! Thank you Rutherford's
Sat there while Staff ignored. Waited on 2 other tables who came in AFTER US!
Great food! Delightful and friendly staff. Definitely going back next time we pass through town. Must try the 50/50 burger made with Chorizo!
Great Diner Experience. I had burger w bacon, cheese, and green chilies ground in, and it was fabulous. The large steak cut fries were a great bonus. A little bit of a wait for the food- but hey, this isn't fast food! Enjoyed the locals that filled the place.
Not bad, great to go hang out or have a cup of coffee but service takes a little while to get you your food.
Tasty hole in the wall cafe! Great atmosphere with Route 66 theme. Friendly staff!
Great clean friendly and nice place to eat
Best waitress ever (short hair, tattoos, sweetest sassy attitude!) Absolutely phenomenal biscuits and gravy, givin' my southern granny a run for her money
This is my favorite place to eat when in Kingman. Good, home-style meals, friendly laid back service. I always feel comfortable eating here like I can relax and enjoy my food.
I got the skillet breakfast can with ham bacon and sausage with country potatoes(got hash browns instead) and 2 eggs and 2 tortillas. I had to take half of it home. It's one of the best breakfasts I have ever had.
Place is amazing! Priced reasonable and delicious! Worth the off-the-beaten-path trip!
The food it great and nice people.
