I was very pleased on my recent trip to Rusconi’s. The place is modern and comfortable but not over the top. The Server was attentive and friendly and not overly obtrusive. Overall, I think the menu is inventive but also standard enough that any number of picky people could have a pleasing experience here. I started with the Heirloom Beet Salad which is peppered with Amish Blue Cheese and pine nuts. It was very tasty and just what I expected. I also felt that it was well seasoned, though some may think it was a bit salty. I’m certain however, if you are sensitive to salt that the kitchen staff would be happy to accommodate. They had a Lobster special that sounded yummy, but I had my heart set on the Grilled Loin of Lamb; served with Squash Risotto, Carrots, Goat Cheese Crema, and Corn Jus. In the words of Mary Berry: “Scrummy”! I asked them to prepare it as the Chef would. It came with char on the outside and perfect medium rare inside. I can’t tell you how many times I have ordered meat this way at restaurants, only to be disappointed with the result. Not this time! I thought I wouldn’t be able to eat it all, but I scraped my plate clean! I enjoyed the flavor of the Squash Risotto but felt that the texture was a bit off. That may have been because of the squash emulsion but I do prefer my risotto with a little “tooth”. However, it didn’t stop me from finishing every bite! We skipped dessert on this visit, but I can tell you happily, that I will be back with my friends to dine here again.

I went for lunch. Interesting menu. I got the mussels. They were good, but I wouldn't order them again. Some bread, lots of mussels. Woulda been better with fewer mussels and added veggies. Shrug. My fault for ordering the wrong thing. With tax and tip $24 - stupid, expensive mistake. Nothing wrong with the mussels just .... Lunch would have better if better balanced. Service was very good. I might well go back. Their salads looked great. Next time. It is a charming place.

This place is THA BOMB! No joke. I had the best culinary experience if my life here. Duck, brussel sprouts...everything! Usually, when I eat here, not only do I clean my own plate with complete focus, but I sample off others' dishes at my table. I can't recommend this place highly enough. GO HERE!

This is one of our favorite local restaurants and has been for many years. The food is amazing, the staff (Fritz, Rhonda, Hanna, Craig, Rex...etc) are awesome. Most of the food is organic, natural and locally sourced when available. The atmosphere is upscale but approachable and feels more like an intimate European Bistro than the large over-the-top places that seem to be popping up in the valley. The Salmon, Scallops and Braised ShortRibs are all delicious. The menu changes with the season and some old stand-by are gone.., but always plenty new to try. Of the restaurants in this area this is by far the best food. The chef could be more personable, but considering he does such a good job hiring.., maybe he doesn't have to be! A perfect place to take an out-of-town visitors to give them a taste of the local scene!

The food is amazing here and service is equally as good. The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because happy hour drinks and food only apply if you sit at the bar. We thought that was lame. Other than that, the overall experience was awesome. We'll definitely be going back. Hopefully with a whole house happy hour in place.

Very rarely am I so full, yet still order dessert and almost lick the plate! Rusconi's food blew my mind - incredibly beautiful and even more delicious! The salad was perfect, with ripe mangos, fresh mozzarella, and seasoned chicken. I had a few bites of my sister's short rib, and that was heavenly! The trifle mac & cheese is the best I've ever had, so creamy it tasted light yet flavorful. For dessert, we got the cheesecake and bread pudding. I've never liked bread pudding in my life, but this dark chocolate bread pudding was to die for! I don't even know how to describe it, just eat it and you won't regret it.im sure I'm going to be dreaming about it in the future.

The rustic atmosphere, the selection of high end ingredients, delish dishes, seriously one of my favorite spots. The chefs are amazing, the bartender rocks it and the service is very attentive. Been here for happy hour, after work dinner and lunch as well. Great for a date night, business lunch meeting or a fun brunch with girlfriends. Check out Rusconi's if you're in the Paradise Valley area or really consider the drive, it's worth it!

Celebrated our anniversary dinner there last night. Everything was five stars including our waiter who was charming and knowledgable and the bottle of wine that was perfect. Our reservations were at 5:30 and every table was busy. Still, we never felt crowded or rushed. Every item on the menu is a must-have. Michael Rusconi doesn't miss a trick with this home run signature restaurant.

The first time we tried Rusconi's was when our son was home on Christmas Leave from the Army and the second time was after Valentine's Day since we both worked. Our meals were excellent and didn't disappoint. Our server was courteous and had great recommendations from the menu. Their menu has a nice variety and they offer specials as well. They also have a variety of mixed drinks, wine, and beer including local microbreweries.

This is the best restaurant I have been to in Phoenix. The food was amazing (I had the buffalo, but also tried several appetizers and entrees with my family / extended family.) The waiter delivered (by far) the best service of any restaurant we have visited in our multiple trips to the area. Our favorites from our last visit were: The fondue appetizer, the buffalo entree, the “kitchen board”, short ribs, and the kabocha squash and goat cheese bread pudding. All of these dishes were excellent. I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience.

I was there with one of my daughters for dinner on 9/4/19. The food was amazing! Probably the best steak I have EVER eaten in a restaurant, and I've eaten at Mastro's and a bunch of the other big name high priced eateries. My daughter had the salmon and said she loved it. We had a couple of appetizers which were also amazing, Rhonda at the bar was so friendly and provided great service, and Chef Michael even stopped by to talk to us...and he was humble, though he didn't need to be. I highly recommend this to anyone for any occasion. It is a 10 out of 10.

Went yesterday and had the Arizona toast which was AMAZING. Hubby had The Kitchen Benedict and loved it as well. The wait staff is also incredible. They also host wine pairing dinners which are a great value. Oh and their happy hour menu is also incredible. Just go here - you won't regret anything you order!

My friends and I came here this past Saturday night. Though we didn’t get seated until 30 minutes after our reservation, this was still one of the most standout meals in recent memory. From the service, to the food and ambiance. Everything was incredible. Complimentary desserts topped everything off perfectly!! We are from out of town and had been years ago, I recall liking it, but I think it somehow even got better! We will definitely come again next time we are in the area! Thank you Rusconis!

The menu is ever changing and the chief is a perfectionist he stand on the opposite side of the counter of the cooks and makes sure each dish is perfect before the servers are allowed to serve it. We saw many dishes go back to the cooks that didn't meet the Chiefs criteria. The food and service could not have been better. Definitely will be back!

We had an amazing dinner at Rusconi’s. The squash soup was delicious and the medallions of beef was wonderful as well. Our waitress, the maitre’d and busboy all truly cared that we had a special dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to go back the next time I’m visiting Phoenix. Absolutely amazing! The space is so unassuming from the outside and warm and welcoming on the inside. The staff is on top of every need; even at one point appearing with an item literally 2seconds after a table make stated the need for it to the rest of us at the table. We had the 3 different dishes and they were all fantastic. The duck was cooked perfectly, tender and not at all gamey. The pork medallions melt in your mouth and the truffle Mac n Cheese is Rated #1 for a reason....SO YUMMY!! The ribeye with froie gras is a combination that will make you order it again and again. I can not recommend Rusconi’s any more than 5 stars here but if I could it would be a no brainer.

We had an amazing dinner at Rusconi’s. The squash soup was delicious and the medallions of beef was wonderful as well. Our waitress, the maitre’d and busboy all truly cared that we had a special dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to go back the next time I’m visiting Phoenix. We tried several different restaurants when we spent a week in Scottsdale, and this was our favorite. Excellent scallops! Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Kind of noisy, tables a bit close to each other, but the food is great. Did not feel like the waiter paid much attention to my wine preferences, and brought his own instead. It was okay but would have preferred something that met the criteria I gave him.

Absolutely amazing! The space is so unassuming from the outside and warm and welcoming on the inside. The staff is on top of every need; even at one point appearing with an item literally 2seconds after a table make stated the need for it to the rest of us at the table. We had the 3 different dishes and they were all fantastic. The duck was cooked perfectly, tender and not at all gamey. The pork medallions melt in your mouth and the truffle Mac n Cheese is Rated #1 for a reason....SO YUMMY!! The ribeye with froie gras is a combination that will make you order it again and again. I can not recommend Rusconi’s any more than 5 stars here but if I could it would be a no brainer.

A friend and I went here for brunch today. We were not familiar with the restaurant because we live in another part of valley, but based on online reviews we decided to try it. It was topnotch all the way. We each started with a Mimosa, a real steal at five dollars each during brunch. My friend then ordered the Short rib hash. It came with two eggs on top, and she also ordered a side of brioche. She ate every bit and declared it fabulous. I ordered the green chili pork served on toasted brioche with a red pepper hollandaise. To die for. And for this southern girl the side of creamy grits was like icing on the cake. Fritz, our terrific waiter, said the secret of the extra creaminess of the grits was attributable to the addition of marscapone cheese. Yummm! This restaurant is a 30 minute drive from my house, and I can’t wait to go back!

It’s always nice when one of your favorite restaurants, that is just consistently outstanding, adds a little twist and makes things even better. While dining at Rusconi’s the other night and sitting close to the kitchen and being waited on by one of their best, Brian, Chef recognized us as frequent visitors and sent over a trio of desserts. By the way I had their duck breast special and it was off the chart good. The desserts were small servings of peach ice cream, a root beer float chilled dessert, and a tangerine basil sorbet. The last was even better than the previous two with flavors of basil infused through the sorbet and not just a garnish on top. All were spectacular. Not that we needed any reason to come back but truly proves again why this is a local favorite!

Amazing! Came here with my girlfriend to meet her Aunt for dinner. She said it was good, but that was an understatement. From the appetizers to the dessert, every bite left my mouth watering for more. They had a special pork belly appetizer over grits. The pork belly was so tender and flavorful and the grits were the perfect texture! For my main, I had the beef medallion over truffle mac and cheese. Words can't describe. Medallion was cooked to order, seasoned just right and the truffle mac and cheese was cheesy and not over powered with truffle. If you need a place, this is it!

If you are not on a budget I would very highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed, however, I would also recommend you get reservations as this place fills up on most days, not just the weekends. The food is always excellent!! What a surprise! Expected an other mediocre restaurant like I have eaten before in the greater Scottsdale area. But no, this is probably the best I‘ve eaten for quite some time! I went there with a friend of mine, celebrating her birthday. As I arrived a few minutes before her, I informed our waiter Fritz accordingly. Fritz was the best waiter I have seen in years. So dedicated, full of humor but still very professional. The card is not as big as some other restaurants offering american cuisine, but it had from everything something. Goose cheese fondue, fish, mussels, lamb, duck, beef or just vegetarian. As swiss we had to try the fondue as a starter. My friend ordered a vegetable plate that was not even so on the card, but with all the fresh veggies they offered as side dishes on all the different menues it was easy to create a pure menue with veggies only. I went for the tenderloin medaillons with mac n cheese. To our surprise the manager brought as an amuse bouche as first time visitors what we very esteemed. The fondue was unique, we expected it a little more fluid but it had a great taste. The bread was european style (not white). Her veggie plate had plenty on it and she described it as very healthy. And my tenderloin medaillons were exactly how I like it. The cheese macaroni had not that yellow/orange stuff that smells like cardboard but a fresh light cheese. Fritz knew also his wines and made some great recommendations. I knew my friend does not go for desserts other than an espresso after the dinner, but according my hint Fritz brought her a small crème brûlée with a candle and two spoons. You have to know, that this kind of sweet is getting served almost in every restaurant especially in the french part of switzerland. It was the best crème brûlée for ages! The invoice was a little more than $90.- which I felt was very reasonable for what we got. And I was more than happy to add a 22% tip. Rusconi‘s is now my new favorite when I have guests coming from the old continent, and I hope Fritz will be our server again. He alone is worth the money spent.

Rucsoni's is nothing short of amazing. Beautifully simplistic atmosphere, exceptional service and exquisite food. Rusconis is home to a scratch kitchen that is apparent with every bite. A simple menu provides an array of choices from pasta, beef medallions and the most succulent scallops I've seen. Service here is as exceptional as the food. Our server Hannah is the best; attentive and knowledgeable. Hannah explains menu options as well as specials with the utmost fluidity. I highly recommend Rusconis, it is a beautiful experience

First time here and I was VERY impressed. I had the salmon lunch entry that came with brussel sprouts. Not a fan of that vegetable. The waiter was happy to substitute green beans. It was a great plate. I also had dessert, lemon meringue pie and it was perfect. So a great lunch. (I skipped dinner.)

What a surprise! Expected an other mediocre restaurant like I have eaten before in the greater Scottsdale area. But no, this is probably the best I‘ve eaten for quite some time! I went there with a friend of mine, celebrating her birthday. As I arrived a few minutes before her, I informed our waiter Fritz accordingly. Fritz was the best waiter I have seen in years. So dedicated, full of humor but still very professional. The card is not as big as some other restaurants offering american cuisine, but it had from everything something. Goose cheese fondue, fish, mussels, lamb, duck, beef or just vegetarian. As swiss we had to try the fondue as a starter. My friend ordered a vegetable plate that was not even so on the card, but with all the fresh veggies they offered as side dishes on all the different menues it was easy to create a pure menue with veggies only. I went for the tenderloin medaillons with mac n cheese. To our surprise the manager brought as an amuse bouche as first time visitors what we very esteemed. The fondue was unique, we expected it a little more fluid but it had a great taste. The bread was european style (not white). Her veggie plate had plenty on it and she described it as very healthy. And my tenderloin medaillons were exactly how I like it. The cheese macaroni had not that yellow/orange stuff that smells like cardboard but a fresh light cheese. Fritz knew also his wines and made some great recommendations. I knew my friend does not go for desserts other than an espresso after the dinner, but according my hint Fritz brought her a small crème brûlée with a candle and two spoons. You have to know, that this kind of sweet is getting served almost in every restaurant especially in the french part of switzerland. It was the best crème brûlée for ages! The invoice was a little more than $90.- which I felt was very reasonable for what we got. And I was more than happy to add a 22% tip. Rusconi‘s is now my new favorite when I have guests coming from the old continent, and I hope Fritz will be our server again. He alone is worth the money spent.
