REVIEWS OF Palette at Phoenix Art Museum IN Arizona

Awesome art and food there.

I have always had a great eating experience here. Love the servers' special attention and the menu items. Today I ate the portobello sandwich and tabulli salad. It was excellent. I loved seeing and eating the eatable pansy and pea vine decorations also. Love Teresa's and Travis's attention too. Do visit for yourself...and see the Phoenix Art Museum while you are there. It made a great day for me?

We went for lunch during the week and it was delicious. The only thing I wasn't happy about was that the waitress brought us water and never offered or asked if we wanted something other than water. The ambiance was quiet, but nice. Not too crowded around noon so that was great. Overall good choice for a quick lunch.

We managed to select a second Sunday - which was free admission. So it was busy - lots of space, fun exhibits and friendly staff. The restaurant and gift store were just as enjoyable. A must see when visiting Phoenix.

I took my niece here because she loves art. She was really disappointed at the "art" that they have here. There's too many religious paintings and it was not very exciting to see.

Palette is a fine place to stop for lunch while you are enjoying a day at the museum. They made accomodations for food allergies, had a nice lunch and brunch menu, and I loved the prickly pear lemonade.

Great place especially if going to museum. Surprised not crowded for Sunday brunch. Small but nice selection on menu. Salmon and asparagus ideal for low carb.

Nice Atmosphere, Nice Staff, Reasonable Service. I was not satisfied with the food quality. The parmesan fries were great but, my hamburger was over cooked. I ordered it medium and it came out well done. Also the price of the food is high but, that's what you pay when you eat at a museum. It was not the best food but, not the worst I've ever had.

This place is the best thing about the museum, and it's a good museum. The food is fresh, tasty, well prepared (the bruschetta, Pork Tacos and soups are to DIE for) and the staff is, seriously, awesome. Our waiter was not only attentive, he made us laugh several times and made sure we will be back. Try them, you'll love it.

Lucy De Leon

the food was delicious and affordable

HR Hamada

Very mediocre quality food. The reason to go here is not for the food, but for a nice quiet place to meet or to talk about the art at PAM. That's what you're overpaying for. Not the mediocre food, but the ability to sit and talk in a quiet atmosphere

Bonnie Zielke

I loved it! Cute place. Good food. The iced tea is really good. My husband had the BLTDA with the herb Parmesan fries and I had the grilled cheese with mixed green salad and everything was absolutely delicious. Great service as well. Chill atmosphere

Sam Seeley

Very nice experience. A great showcase of contemporary modern art. Some classic works.

Had lunch on a recent visit to the museum. Staff was friendly and attentive. We loved our food. We had their version of the BLT and the fig & chicken salad. I even trusted them to dress the salad with the vinaigrette and I wasn’t disappointed - it’s was lightly dressed - exactly like I prefer it. Great place to have a break between all the great galleries.

My family came here for Mother's Day, which consisted of a $55 prix fixe menu- 2 dishes with a mimosa and dessert buffet. Little did we know that two of the five selections would not be available by the time we were able to order... Isn't that the point of taking reservations? To know how many people will be ordering the items you have set on the menu? Then, the food arrived in complete shambles. It was lukewarm, not appetizing or appealing to look at whatsoever. Our server apologized several times and did a great job taking care of us. He said he would let his manager know, but no manager ever came to speak to us or apologize on the kitchen's behalf. Very unprofessional. If it weren't for our server being so kind, we would have walked out upon the presentation of the second course. For $55, this was a horrible display of what management and the kitchen staff have to give to the people of Phoenix. No compensation was given back to us on our check either, we paid full price for low quality, unappealing food. I felt ripped off and my mother was beyond irritated. We will not be returning to this establishment.

Met friends here for lunch. The manager the day we visited was Miss Laura. She and the staff were exceptionally competent, friendly and efficient. We sat in the courtyard. What a joy. The chitalpa trees were in full bloom as were the white roses. Our food and the service were outstanding. There was no effort to move us along, we were welcome to sit and visit before and after our meal. All in all, very lovely place for lunch. I highly recommend Palette.

Evan

SUPER SLOW Don’t even enter unless you want to wait for 1 hour for the food

Sara Arroyo

Very nice plates for the table, organic salads and paper straws!!! Nice sandwiches, and salads. Friendly staff, wonderful ambience..

A great selection of food that changes throughout the year. The French fries with ranch dip is a meal just by itself. My favorite drink there is the prickly pear lemonade. Keep in mind that you cannot take food into the museum. Even though they can hold your leftover containers while you still browse the museum, I find it best to end my visit at the restaurant and exit into the garden area for a quick stroll before heading home.

Nice cafe inside the art museum but has a separate entrance. The food was well displayed and tasted fine. The service was great and wasn't busy on a Saturday afternoon. They also have weekend brunch.

A unique eatery inside the PHX Art Museum. Fresh produce and quality meats. Loved the soups with fresh baked breads they offer (extra). There is also a kids menu for your littles. It is a convenient place to eat and take a break between exhibits.
