This place is bananas good; arguably the best Mexican in Phoenix. Visiting three times in the last week, and living in Phx for 12 years, this is a new fav spot. The service reminds you of a place where everyone is part owner; the service excels. Couple of notes: The music is solid, they spent the money on good speakers and it matters. Make sure if you check out the outside area in the back.

In my opinion I have had better prepared food and a more flexible menu at fast food restaurants and from food trucks. This looks like a place which is more about being seen having drinks at rather than the food. They also do not work smart. The severs appear to be over burdened with too many tasks. This placed needs more support staff handling drink refills and the chips. I am disabled. I made that clear to the sever. He seemed frustrated and resentful towards me. I will now make easy on both of us and never return to this place.

Had a great meal at Otro. Food was good quality, especially the delicious steak burrito, and serving size was very large. Salad was the best part of the meal. Also the Hop Not Brew from Four Peaks. Will come again.

Food was excellent, especially the pork belly tacos and the country style ribs. The queso fundido and ceviche was also delicious. Marco was an excellent server. It did take awhile to get acknowledged and greeted when I initially walked in, nobody was at the front desk. Lucky is the best server, hopefully you get him.

This place was AMAZING! Our server Betsy was very helpful with the menu, was always smiling and energetic. I had the shrimp taco, carne a sad a and Al pastor taco. They were very good and super tasty. This place has a great urban, lofty atmosphere. Overall I had a great time and awesome food with great service!

Food made from scratch!! The cheeseburger is juicy! The cheese stretches with every bite!! Great carne asada tacos! Carne asada burrito is huuuge! Papas are crispy and delicious! Give the food a try! The coffee is delicious, too! You get it from the machine or a french press! I have yet to try the teas! Overall, very good food! Great service!!

Amazing food every time! Service is generally good, cocktails took way longer than they should have given the place was empty. It did appear that our server was the only server on, he seemed very stressed, though extremely considerate. I would definitely go back though, and will suggest this place to my friends.

Excellent Michealadas! Happy hour menu is quite impressive. But most of all, the staff is genuinely kind and enthusiastic. It’s a surprisingly rare characteristic of restaurants these days where employees are required to check their personality (and dignity) at the door. Can’t wait to give brunch a try here!

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in the central corridor! Awesome vibes, great staff, and absolutely delicious Mexican food. Things to get here if you are coming in for breakfast or brunch; Michelada, Chips and Salsa is a must! They have amazing home made salsas! Huevos rancheros and try the fresh farm to table veggetables! It is usually busy in the morning but the bar is always the best option!

Service was very friendly, food is an appealing blend of American classics with Mexican influence. But some pesky flies at our table brought the experience down somewhat. Ambience otherwise was warm and inviting. Breakfast items such as huevos rancheros are a strength. And yes, you can order avocado toast. Worth a visit.

The food here was out of control! The elote man would be proud to eat here. The naco sandwich with flank steak was so flavorful! My wife thought the chilaquiles were amazing. The service is top notch, and the whole atmosphere was so warm and welcoming

Food is really good, service is really slow. Not sure if it was because we came at an unusual time, but I almost poured my own cup of water because it seemed like everyone was too busy. Not sure why there were 4 tables of people and at least 4-5 servers. Food is worth the wait.

Decided to stop in for lunch during the week. We sat at the bar and it was pretty quite (only 4 other patrons were in the restaurant at the time). My boyfriend had a carne asada burrito and enjoyed it. I had the pork belly and shrimp tacos. The tacos were great! We will be back again soon.

Great food and atmosphere. Been there dozens of times. The female bartender just has this nasty tone and very impersonal. She obviously hates her job. I’m constantly having to get up every time and get my own hot sauces and salt and pepper and I know she knows me by now and I tip well Still nothing! The dressing room restaurant however has a staff that’s seems to offer this very welcoming and friendly atmosphere! This is a lesson on repeat customers. I’ve actually decided not to return to that kind of service.

Great Place! The food is very good, the service is good and the servers friendly. I would give five stars if it wasn't too noisy. I have a hard time in places where the noise level prevents me from having a nice, quiet conversation with the other people at my table. If you go, try the paella!

4 stars could become 5 after adding quality coffee options, drip coffee just doesn’t cut it and it was on the weak side. The 4 stars are for great delicious food. Definitely worth the visit, for me I will bring my own coffee next time. Open bustling atmosphere, decent amount of parking and nice location.

Was in the area and looking for a breakfast spot, and Otro had good reviews. A nice open space with several tables as well as a few booths. We were able to get a table for 2 immediately around 9:30am on a Saturday but it was pretty full. The brunch menu has a good selection of options for different tastes, and the lunch menu is served after 11am. I ended up ordering the huevos rancheros and my girlfriend got the granola and yogurt plus a side of two eggs. The huevos rancheros were great. You select which kind of eggs you want on top and if you want red or green sauce. I chose green and was very happy with the flavor. The side of beans was also awesome, definitely some of the best beans I've had. I wasn't too full but content with the portion size and thought price was very reasonable. The granola and yogurt was a large portion and the granola was tasty. There were nuts mixed in as opposed to just granola and made for a great crunch. Our server was friendly and made sure to check up on us. I enjoyed the atmosphere although it is a little loud (god I sound old!) because of the concrete floors and brick walls. Nothing too crazy though. I would definitely return for lunch again. I recommend checking it out!

Relaxed, well arranged and casual. The mesquite grill smells incredible! The place is super clean, staff is really nice and helpful; you can just tell they want to be there. I had the steak and apple salad. I have to say, this is the FIRST time I have had this made that every element was perfect in it's own rite.

The best guacomole in Phoenix! Most appealing feature is Otro serves organic veggies with it"s guacomole. Breakfast burrito is served all day - perfect for dinner. Only disappointment is their margarita drink - too sweet, too tiny with a huge price. Still gave Otro 5 stars because their food is just amazing!!!! My favorite Mexican restaurant.

Otro Cafe is delicious! We live near Old Town Scottsdale and the Mexican food there sucks compared to this place; their service, food, and atmosphere is so much more welcoming and on point compared to Diego Pops in Scottsdale (just wanted to give an example). We had their fish, shrimp, and pork belly tacos, guacamole, corn, and rice. It was all fresh and super tasty. Their service was on point because our server was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of, vs. Diego Pops where their service is under average, and they overcharge for food that looks like it was plopped on a pan. And the prices are the same. Whoa! I highly recommend Otro Cafe; we plan on coming back for sure. Thank you Otra Cafe!

First time here. Let me tell you its delicious. We order the chilaquiles con pollo and it had green sauce and red sauce. It was soooooo good, highly recommend. We also order a breakfast burrito, the presentation wasn't a wow factor but the taste was amazing. I order an horchata, it was delicious. To top it off we order a flan and it has been one of the best flavored Flan we have eaten. Highly recommend Otro cafe.

Enjoyed a brunch here several weeks ago...the menu is similar to Gallo Blanco with a few variations here and there. The breakfast menu is vast, all of it pretty good. The pancakes are good, but the Consuelo del Sur killed it. The french press coffee is too small to share. Staff was friendly, food was good, would definitely eat there again.

Really good food. Not your run-of-the-mill Mexican fare. Rather a modern interpretation made with great respect for tradition. Served with excellence. After spending over 2 decades in the hospitality/restaurant industry doing everything from washing dishes to managing a restaurant, I’ve found the best indicator of truly great service is to engage the server for recommendations. My server made daring recommendations. She didn’t go for the easy, or the high ticket items. She was also knowledgeable of all aspects of the menu. The apps, the entrees, the desserts, the beer, the coffee. Excellent job!
