All the food here is delicious. I have tried almost every dish and enjoyed each one. Each entrée has its own unique flavor. I was hesitant to try Indian cuisine but the staff were so friendly and helpful that I now bring friends and family to experience the flavor of India. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food seemed to be not so great. Maybe going on Monday evening is not a great idea but we expected better based on reviews posted. We ordered Malain Kofta, Karahi Chicken, naans and a goat biryani .. Naans were great, Karahi Chicken was ok.. rest was pretty downhill from there.. I have mention that the highlight was the Mango Kulfi. Really liked that one.

This is my go to for Indian food. Service, quality, and selection is excellent. I have seen reviews that buffet isn’t traditional Indian spicy, but it cannot be can it? I however find the buffet to well above many others in the metro area for selection and taste. Order from menu and ask for Indian traditional you will not be disappointed either. I love this place and the staff make each visit worth the trip. Food is prepared perfectly, great ingredients, very nice portions and great value. See you again soon

Wish I could rate it more than 5. One of the finest Indian restaurants I have been. I have tried buffets around the States but this will definitely make it to the top 3. Everything was tasting right except for the biryani (birayni has been forte for the buffet restaurants). Everything felt fresh despite going their mid week it's quite surprising.

For any Indian food lover, thus is the place to go. Very friendly and excellent staff. It's a family owned business and they pride themselves in excellent service and great meals. They hosted us for my sister-in-law's rehearsal dinner with about 35 people. Pricing was very reasonable, they made sure all our guests were full and had enough to even carry out. All guests enjoyed the meals. If you are looking for an authentic Indian food experience. This is the place to go.

Found this place on Google Maps. So freaking good!!! Chicken marsala, goat curry, tandoori chicken, saffron rice, cucumber salad, condiments (unknown to me), rice pudding, mango pudding and more in this flavorful buffet. Family friendly staff of brothers, father and mother. I will go back there.

Oh yeah they have awesome buffet hours and the place is swanky. Went here for the first time to get take out. It wasn't bad but I have had better. The Garlic Naan tasted a bit stale and wasn't all that flavorful. I got the chicken korma and for $12 at other places I got plenty of chicken. This place basically gave me a bunch of sauce and rice and about 4 pieces of chicken. Portions for what you pay aren't very good.

I'm a repeat customer of this restaurant and usually receive great service with a smile but last Tuesday night 8/13 that wasn't the case. The waiter who served us wasn't pleasant at all. It seemed as though we were bothering him with simple questions that was being asked. I didn't feel at all welcome here at this time. Also when asked for a to go container because I didn't finish my food he brings out a regular box, I had a soup like dish, at which I expected a plastic container instead. I didn't say anything just took it and exited. Previous visits everything and everyone seemed very nice.

My husband and I ate here last night and were delighted with the quality and quantity of the servings. I had the lamb vindaloo and my husband had the lamb korma; both ordered spicy. The lamb chunks were very tender and delicious and the sauce superb. I saw at least one review complain about the serving sizes, including the rice. Our waiter asked if we would like more rice ~ not sure if that would have been an upcharge, or not, as we had plenty of rice. Maybe Americans have just become so accustomed to obscene food serving sizes coming in at 900 to 1200 calories and more, that they've lost sight of what a normal serving size would look like. Just my thoughts. The service was very attentive and reasonably timed. We'll be back:)

Hands down this is the best around! Had the chicken biryani and sag paneer and there were fireworks in my mouth! The flavours are amazing and the portion sizes are perfect. Enjoyed garlic naan bread with the meal and left with such a happy belly! The staff greet you right when you walk in the door and are so friendly, will surely be back!

We arrived just before noon on a Saturday and the restaurant was still fairly quite, however business picked up quite a bit while we were there. The dining area was clean, open, and the table settings were clearly above average for a lunch buffet. Ray and Rural is quite the foodie intersection. I met up with some friends here on an early Saturday afternoon for their lunch buffet, which is $9.95. We chose garlic naan vs plain because garlic is life. They have a lot of dishes to choose from, including several vegetarian and vegan options. I went with white rice, pulao rice, chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala, chicken tandoori, saag paneer, mushroom curry, aloo vada (potato balls), and aloo gobi.

Went here for a family celebration and was slightly disappointed. Though the restaurant had a nice interior, the food quality, quantity, and overall service was lackluster. Typically when our family goes out for Indian food we share plates family style, but this was not going to work here. The plates were much smaller than a typical restaurant would have and the foods overall taste did not make the small portions worth it. Each dinner plate, even the rice, was in a small dish that seemed more like a lunch sized plate. Not only that but our server forgot our drink and we did not get them until after we had ordered and received our food. Lastly, it seemed as though our table was forgotten as we kept waiting for the check. We had to ask a buzzer to bring the check as our waiter disappeared. Definitely not coming back. If you want a family style Indian restaurant go to Cafe India!

We decided to try out this restaurant while visiting my parents in town. The service was very attentive and the food was delicious (I especially appreciated the large selection of vegetable dishes). So, let me tell you all the ways that I love the place. They catered my wedding - and it was absolutely delicious. They impromptu also catered another event that week when our other arrangements fell through...and despite short notice delivered amazing food. A better than average Indian lunch buffet with more variety- three kinds of rice, two different chicken dishes, plus all the usual potatoes, lentils, spinach Etc. This is another great family restaurant. Try the different foods. The server is happy to explain what the foods are to you for us who don't know:) Vegetarians can eat here. The buffet is good. The dinners are expensive, but the quality is excellent. Again, servers quietly refill your water and let you enjoy your food. The vegetable dumplings and mango dessert are my favorites. The classic tikka masala is good. For their tea expect a chai with fresh spices in it--not lipton or oolong or instant Starbucks chai mix... I also recommend their coffee. It is made differently and has a great flavor. The family always knows its regulars, but it is welcoming to all. Sometimes I here bollywood background music. Also, the naan bread is good as well and pairs well with the food.

WOW! WOW! WOW! My wife and I usually frequent a different establishment for Indian food that is closer to our house. However, today we decided to travel a little further and try India gate out due to its ratings on Yelp and Google, and I have to say the ratings were spot-on not only was the restaurant immaculately clean, the staff was unbelievably friendly, family-oriented, very welcoming, and ultimately made it an amazing experience. We haven't even covered the food yet. The food was absolutely delicious, so many different options and everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. I wish I could remember the names of all the different foods we tried but all I can say is that none of them were disappointing and they're all amazing. Both my wife and I will definitely be back, please come visit this place it's well worth it and extremely affordable.

Little Disappointed, Chewy & Tasteless Chicken - First visit and tried the Chicken Korma. Sauce was pretty good but the chicken didn't have any taste and was tough and chewy. Normally, all the meats are VERY tender in all the Indian dishes I have eaten. Since I moved here about 4 years ago, I have tried about 10 different Indian restaurants in the Phoenix area and would rate this one # 7 out of the 10. I sold the idea of Indian buffet to a friend of mine by saying that all the buffets I had been to were not spicey. Unfortunately I took them to this one and it was much spicier than others. April 05, 2019 First visit here and I wanted to be impressed because of the reviews. First let me reiterate as others have the service and attentiveness of staff is impressive. I am not sure if they were having a bad cooking day or the food prepped is normally made as described. The galub jamun was very very dense, and not light inside at all. It was served cold instead of hot. Hot vs cold is a simple preference. The kheer was almost like a water consistency and had no tapioca and specks of rice here and there. The mango custard had good flavor and had a nice amount of mango pieces in it. The desserts are about 50% of why I like an Indian buffet. So this was extremely disappointing to say the least. The tamarind chutney was excellent. The tandoori chicken was very dry, one of the first times I have encountered this. Usually it is extremely moist and juicy with rich flavor depth. The onions with it were fantastic in flavor though. I tried to enjoy the goat curry but I kept finding chips of bones throughout the gravy. If there is one thing I abhor it is having to reach into my mouth at a meal to pull out bad pieces of food or bone fragments. It wasn't just once but at least 3 times. The chicken dishes were decent in flavor but again the sauces were a bit runny. The meat was tender. The garlic naan bread was perfectly done, very light in texture. The rice was pretty good. Overall the buffet price point reflects the product line they are able to offer. A restaurant isn't going to serve you items which are a huge profit loss because they would soon be out of business.

This our first visit, we received a warm welcome from our host. We came to try the tastes of northern India, opting for the Chicken Korma for our protein dish, the garlic naan for our starch and undecided on the vegetable. Our host recommended the Malai Kofta, a vegetable and cheese dumpling which arrived in a delicious sauce. The food was delicious, professionally delivered and presented, as top notch service. I'm looking forward to my next visit to try the lamb.

We ate mainly off the buffet but we did order a shrimp dish that was supposed to be really spicy, it wasn't really spicy. However it had an excellent flavor. All the food had excellent flavor. It was an enjoyable time. Also please note we hadn't eaten food Indian before.

If you like spicy food, this place has SIX DIFFERENT LEVELS OF SPICE *epic voice off* The staff is friendly and always ready to refill your drink and checks on you literally every couple minutes without being overwhelming. Their Garlic naan is delicious. Also try their Mango Lassi, its great.
