Was there for NYE dinner. Food and drinks were delicious. All of the festivities were an added plus. All of the cool art everywhere makes it great. Only bad part is there is a lot of light pollution from the kitchen, sooo bright.

Disappointing experience.... walking up to the restaurant we noticed it was quite empty... GULP! Waitress couldn’t keep up with her 2 tables. The restaurant is obviously struggling because the portions were served in a small bowl. Not sure how you can share the Eggplant Dip as an appetizer because it only came with 3 quarter pieces of a flatbread. (4 people in our party) No joke we had to ask for 2 additional servings of flatbread and still didn’t finish the eggplant. BTW this will cost you $2 each request. Main chef spent most of his time Facebooking in the kitchen along with our waitress. Might not be a good idea to have an open kitchen concept?!?!? Multiple times we saw them on their phone which seemed more appealing than servicing us. Asked for the wine list. Must’ve been a demanding 2nd table for our waitress because she’s forgot. Not to worry she delivered the wine just in time for my last bite of my main. Great location because when you leave hungry you can walk across the street to FEZ and get a better meal. Can’t believe this place is still open? Sorry MATCH... great location, nice atmosphere, but food and service was a HUGE disappoint. I’d highly recommend going somewhere else. It came down to Beckett’s Table and Match and we clearly made the wrong choice.

Never again. Everytime I try to give this place a chance the bartender that's amazing has been fired. I can't name them personally,I guess, but the bar manager with the beard and the blonde with the tattoos were AWESOME. I really feel bad for the staff in this bar. I personally witnessed the upper management sitting, drinking alcohol, stressing the staff out, and getting waited on hand and foot.... While in the middle of a rush, expecting full service from their server. You can tell they are being micromanaged by people that have NO IDEA how to run a restaurant/bar (there's one lady that's always sitting in a booth, kind of a butter face, blonde... I dunno.... she just sat there with her sad frown on her laptop making everyone uncomfortable.) I'm just really sad to know that anyone worth going to this failed concept isn't there anymore. Hopefully my favorites are on to better places, because I know as A DOWNTOWN LOCAL I'll never give this place another second of my time. Such a waste of space.

My friends and I visited MATCH over the weekend and we had a great experience. We were greeted and seated immediately and attended to by a very attentive pair of waitresses and by the manager, Morgan. Our food tasted excellent, our drinks were beautiful and delicious, and Morgan made sure that we were happy and satisfied. Highly recommend this place when you stop by Phoenix!

The server was fine, but we've been here for 1.5 hours and our dinner still hasn't come. I'm hungry. It takes about 15 min to get a drink, so I've only had 2 in the time I have been here. I really can't tell if the food is good because it still hasn't came. I don't understand. Please send help.

We went there for dinner on Friday evening. We had a group of eight men. I've never been so it was a good experience. I had the Marrakesh tangia. It's a nice place. Our waiter seemed new so it took him a little longer 2 bring out our food. Or it could have been that it was a busy night. I still enjoyed myself. Food was good it was good.

So I was with a large group. The server was good, but the menu was just not very informative. I ordered a breakfast burrito that made no mention of having meat. When I got the burrito I took a bite and ended up eating some chorizo, which pissed me off since I'm vegetarian. The server took the food back and 30 mins later as I was getting ready to leave they brought me a veggie wrap, which tasted good. But I was so mad I ate meat I didn't enjoy the veg burrito.

Came here for restaurant week in the fall, and I found the atmosphere really cool. It's basically a restaurant attached to an art gallery, lots to look at. As far as the food goes, I found the dishes well composed and delicious. They also had a solid cocktail menu, and a great beer/wine selection. I would definitely come back. Great place to for dinner with friends or a date!

Love this place. I stopped in for the Monday Special, a drink and pizza for $10. The pizza is a personal size pizza but definitely big enough for two to share. I had to get a to go box. I'm new to the area and I will definietly be back.

The decor and furniture in this place is amazing.... has a very cool vibe and plenty of room to accommodate large as well as small groups including indoor and outdoor seating. The bar is quite the sight, enjoyed a cup of good strong coffee and ate a hearty breakfast however I didn't get my bacon. I will def be back for more of their menu.

Service and atmosphere were great. Food and drink is just ... not my style. I can't pronounce half the stuff on the drink menu. When I finally saw a bottle of standard Scotch, it was about $18 for a pour (for about a $60 bottle!). As for food, I gave a couple dishes a try and wish both times that I had just gotten the pizza - just too hip for me I suppose. This is literally the only restaurant I've been to where I thought the food and drink were a little *too* eclectic; which is a shame because the staff and atmosphere are top notch.

I belong to MITA and have gone to this place regularly for events. Of course I take advantage of the bar and restaurant. The food was always delicious until tonight. My favorites (guacamole with chips and hummus with pita) were no longer available so I tried something else to which I ate 1 bite and politely pushed my dish away from where I was sitting. I'm not quite sure why the food drastically changed but what I am certain of is that I will never done here again. The food used to be fresh and flavorful. Now it just tastes like it came from a can. No thank you. My suggestion is dine and stay elsewhere.

They are not consistent with the restaurant pet policy! After a 4 day stay traveling with my dog and eating with my dog at Match, on my last day I asked for our regular spot we had meals and I was the only guest in the restaurant I was told dogs are not allowed! I talked to the restaurant manager who had greeted us before in the restaurant during our meals, he would have a meeting...

My burger was terrible, the bun was partially frozen and it came out late. The Wife's Papaya salad was bland and didn't have any ripe Papaya, but rather hard shredded Papaya that was more of a slaw. Way too pricey for the quality. The good thing was the waiter was attentive and comped our meal. Which is why it gets two stars instead of one.

The atmosphere is intimate and romantic. The lobby to the hotel is gorgeous. The food was incredible. Delicious and fresh. We ordered the arugula pizza and were blown away. The cocktails were delicious also!

Everything about this restaurant is an amazing environment that blends all five senses into a most enjoyable dining experience! I attended a Sip of Science event hosted by the ASU Biodesign Institute. The appetizers were very tasty, but sadly not enough to go around. The specialty cocktail for the evening was delicious and a deal, but was a long wait at the bar to get it. (only one tender for the event) Loved all the artwork! Will definitely visit again for their regular happy hour in their cool bar. Really neat restrooms.

I agree with most folks that the food is great and the service even better. The one issue i have...and it is not a subtle issue...is the outside patio. It is really disgustingly dirty. Bird droppings and nasty critters wandering around on the floor. You do not need more info on those. The patio, which opens to the restaurant, needs a good power wash and then daily or hourly cleaning. There was food on the concrete tables and the concrete floor. That, and some determined pest control will make the place a lot better.

Lovely place. Lovely food. Lovely wine. Check out the menu before you go. I’ve seen the menu change a lot here. I love going with friends. The service has always been great. Just ask for what you need and they accommodate. The wine list is very well balanced. Don’t miss the corn(elote). Don’t miss the cool art gallery attached in the hotel. It’s all for sale and all changed out often. The house made sparkling water makes this place feel more expensive than it is. It’s not a value run but it’s not over the top Scottsdale prices either.

The bartender, Toby Muniz, was very attentive in spite of his equal service to so many other customers. He crafts each cocktail to your taste, and the prices are quite reasonable. Match is a great bar, friendly and upscale at the same time. I am very glad to have found it!

Best Art Gallery/Cocktail lounge in downtown Phoenix! I am IN LOVE. This place is beautiful inside and out. They display local Phoenix Art. Thier lounge set up is very original, and the patio is excellent.The music is fresh and makes you feel good. The staff are all very friendly. Sarah is such a great bartender! She made me a Van Gogh cocktail that was to die for! *picture spicy jalepeno mango deliciousness* I cannot recommend this place enough. You can browse the gallery with your drinks. Nice friendly staff but confused. We stayed in one of the rooms (really nice rooms) and were excited to get the chicken and waffles they constantly tell you about. but their waffle iron was broken. we asked for pancakes and our server said that was broken too so we all ordered omelets Then the table that sat down after us was served waffles. When we asked about the other guests waffles they said the waffle iron wasnt broken but that they only had enough waffle pancake mix for that table.

This place was great. Don't expect American size portions from this American bistro but the quality is top notch. The service was excellent. The drinks were great. The location is in an art gallery in a renovated part of downtown. There is a lot to take in as you walk past art displays, a large lounge area and a huge bar.

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast after the American Heart Walk on April 7. The breakfast was great and the best part was that there were bottomless Mimosas for $15!! Our waiter was Skylar, later dubbed the "mimosa fairy" for his ability to show up just as the glasses needed a freshen up. We spent pretty much the rest of the morning drinking and much of the afternoon napping. It was a great experience and we will be back!

Went with a large group. Truffle Fries were amazing and so was the service. The quality of the food was inconsistent. My husband adored his pizza and my sandwich was tasty at first. It was very salty and by the end I could hardly eat it. A friend had a steak that was tough and gristly. Some things were missed when people were served and the staff had to be reminded. Great ambience. A little hard to find. Inside Found Re hotel. Hotel staff not wonderful - the valet was great.

Ok. So ordered a beer and a cocktail. Beer was any old standard local beer and was $8! Cocktail was 13. Ordered "crispy chicken wings" as quoted on the menu....wings were $8 for about 5 wings which were rubbery and not even close to crispy. Shame the place looks nice and we were staying at the hotel. Think fez for drinks later

Well apparently I picked the wrong time to visit based on other reviews, it appears that they must have had a drastic menu change. So from the beginning....you can't find the door because this hotel is trying to be too artsy to have clearly marked entrances. Once we found our way to the restaurant we were sat immediately, there were very few people around and lots of staff. We still waited 15 minutes before I ask the hostess if we had a server. When he finally showed up he ask me if I wanted alcohol, when I said no he didn't ask my husband at all. We ordered and the food was timely but nothing special. The menu description of the food is not great. I ordered fried chicken and got a thinly sliced chicken breast that was bland. Not what I was expecting. My husband said his skirt steak was good but nothing to bring him back. The waiter came back once and ask to refill my husband's tea. He said please, and the waiter never came back with the refill. When we finished our meal we sat there for 15 minutes before I got up and asked to speak to the manager. She was very nice and comped our meal and apologized. We will not be back however.

Good food, bad service. Went here a few weeks ago for my friends birthday, there was a larger group of us, however the restaurant was not very busy. Our server didn’t come back for long periods of time, we waited a long time after ordering drinks, and she forgot my food order. I ordered a sandwich, and ended up eating after everyone was done. Our whole dinner experience took over two hours. The food was tasty however. Would go back and try it again; hopefully getting a different waiter/waitress next time.

The building and decor are nice, the food was ok, not great but not bad either. The service was really not good at all. We had to wait at every step, many times there was no staff anywhere to be found in the dining area. We had to ask several times for basic service. There were only 2 or 3 other small tables the entire time so there was really no excuse for the lack of service.

If you want some awesome food MATCH is the place to go. The Chef is GREAT! The atmosphere is very comfortable and spacious. So whenever you're in the area of 1100 N Central in Phoenix, please stop in and enjoy the succulent food. Oh! You receive 2 hour valet parking.

New hip and modern place in downtown Phoenix. Great place for small plate sharing; however food pricing maybe in the higher end of the spectrum for the portions served. Great food over all this is my third time visiting the place and I will definitely go back. If you don't valet parking may be difficult as you may have to park on the streets and parking is very limited. Drink selection is top shelf only so be prepared to pay a bit more for drinks than normal.

The atmosphere was tense, not unlike the lingering mood in a public space after the police drag away a shouting vagrant. Too busy for a greeting. Okay. We stood at the hostess station - staff came and went, being careful not to make eye contact and obligate themselves to be hospitable. I counted 3 tables with guests, 4 more guests at the bar, 8 employees on the floor including two manager types. Zero smiles. "Maybe we're dead," I said to my wife, "like the movie sixth sense. They can't see us but we can see them." I pinched my wrist to be sure I still had feeling. Following five minutes of existential crisis and wondering if perhaps we had over or under dressed, a self-identified first day staff member stopped to explain he had yet to been trained on where to put arriving guests. He went off and wrangled another staff member from their suicidal contemplation to show us to a table. And there we sat. 15 minutes of reviewing the menu, staring at bar staff, servers, bussers, managers and even a few fellow diners to come by and say hello. I debated the drink offerings with my wife and quite pathetically changed my order out loud 3 times. "I really do think we're dead," I said. "It's because you brought a dark brown woman," she kidded. We stared harder and harder. No drink, no charcuterie board, certainly no new watering hole for us. We stood up slowly, looked around and walked along the longest route to the side exit. I feel bad for leaving the other guests behind. Rumor has it, if you stand quietly by the fountain in Portland park at night, you can hear they're small cries for help. Works for the conference-goers, the college kids and the captive hotel guests, but not for us locals that spend hundreds per week dining at the many far better operations within walking distance. And, as it was made clear, Match doesn't need our support. Ciao!

We enjoyed our weekday dinner here. Our pizza, veggie burger, and chicken were very good. They have a nice selection of wine including local rose which I really appreciated. Service was professional and not intrusive. Love the location too - close to a small park. Note that happy hour is in the bar only and not in the restaurant.

Went for their Christmas dinner advertised from 11am to 6pm. Made reservations for 1pm only to find out the dinner was post-poned due to mechanical issues. Ate from the lunch menu. Very disappointed. It was good but I won't go back again. Service was not great.

The atmosphere is quite inviting, and I enjoyed the music. Friendly staff, but the brunch menu is limited. The restaurant is located right off the road, and you can easily miss valet parking, which I believe is free for 2 hours, but I didn't use it. There is visitor parking around the corner. The food is average. I had the Phoenix Club. It was okay for a sandwich. There was only one choice of soup, and salad is just the bed of leaves, so therefore, fries it is. The shrimp and grits are an unique spin with BBQ sauce, which includes the colossal shrimps (4). I tasted the entree, and it's not for me, especially being southern in South. Presentation of food was great. My husband gives a rating of 3.5. I truly give it a 3.

Food was great, first round of drinks were the best, 2nd round not so much was told bartenders changed. But yea good time and not very many people there so you wont feel crowded. Plus if you like art they have cool stuff everywhere.

The food is trendy and tasty, although the portions are a little small (and pricy - entrees are $22+ a plate). Happy hour prices knock a couple dollars off drinks, to around $7. Service is friendly but slow. The atmosphere is almost too trendy and hipster for it's own good, to the point of being off-putting (i.e. not good for a business meeting or a place to take your grandparents).

An excellent choice for dinner at the Found:re Hotel! We have lived in Phoenix since 2000 and had used this hotel when it was under different ownership and brand names. We had not been here in several years and learned about its changes, upgrades and links to the Phoenix Art Museum. We enjoyed the Scottish Salmon and a pasta dish, and both were excellent. The service staff was attentive and the manager stopped by to welcome us. The decor is very unique and not at all plain or ordinary. The value for the meals is reasonable, as evidenced by the fact the restaurant (and hotel) was full on Christmas. (We were there 2 days later) This attention to detail does not happen often enough or by accident. We compliment the Found:re Hotel management and ownership for their positive change in direction.

Nice atmosphere. Food was amazing. Service was exceptional. My husband's main course took a bit longer then expected, and we only realized it because our server came out and told us that the Chef did not like how it turned out, so he is going to remake it. Since we were going to wait longer for our food we were offered a free appetizer of our choice. After ordering it, I got up and went to the washroom. When I returned to our table, there was a cheese and meat tray, and Samoa's on it as well as the appetizer we choose, compliments of the Chef!! The Chef also came to our table to apologize for the delay of our meal, and again after we had our meal to check on how everything was. To tell you the truth, I could not even eat my main course because of all the appetizers that were given to us!! What service!!!

The prime rib was good but the service was lacking. When we brought it to the attention of the manager, he was outstanding. He listened to our criticism and understood that it was constructive and acted accordingly. Will definitely give them another chance.

The food is sub par at best. Over priced. Don’t waste your time, there are much better restaurants in Phoenix. Lobster bisque was way over salted, and lobster was rubbery. Steak was a terrible cut of meat. It is such a bummer to have such a terrible meal at such a cool hotel. I expected way more. We went on NYE with a price fixed menu at $130 a couple, and had to share the entree.

It's good, foods a B-. The booze seems pretty over priced though, an example:got a bottle of champagne and orange juice for $35 (maybe $30?)during brunch, ended up going down the street to a bar to continue the buzz and got the same bottle of champagne and orange juice for $12.

Hospitality at its finest! From the atmosphere, the staff and dining what an experience. I had the baby back ribs which were amazing in flavor and presentation. The arugula and beet salad was also fabulous. I want to thank Brandon and Jennifer for creating that feeling of home. I didn’t want to leave.

Amazing food and drinks. I didn't eat at the restaurant but had food brought to our room at FoundRe. Every bite was amazing. The deviled eggs are the best I've ever tasted. We had coconut creme rum blackened salmon with asparagus and a strawberry bbq pulled pork sandwich with fried onions and pickled watermelon for dinner. We had banana cheesecake and tiramisu later for dessert. The next morning we ordered biscuits and gravy and avocado toast. Everything was unique and beyond awesome.
