REVIEWS OF Kai Restaurant IN Arizona

Richyne Meyer

This restaurant deserves 5 stars for their staff, for the food, for the valet staff. It was a 5 star experience. Three hours of delightful eating and great information about the native american cuisine. I just can't say enough about all the wait staff a ratio of 1-1!! Fabulous.

Doris Daniel

Relaxed place for date night. Took my husband here 3weeks ago and the service was top notch incredible. Got seated and got food out quickly. Friendly and welcoming

Patty Premo

Amazing experience from beginning to end! I don't want to give too much away in the details because it's best to experience yourself. But I will say it was the best culinary experience in all of AZ. The food was perfectly infused with Native American tastes and the chef's pairings were nothing short of genius. We ordered the 'Journey' which was a heavenly 10 course euphoric ride for your senses. I would absolutely recommend this but be prepared to invest some time, one waiter said 3-5 hours and we spent 3.5 hours. All and all worth every minute and worth every penny. So go check Kai out you won't regret it!

Best I town

Jenny Smith

Smashing! Great Food and Excellent Customer Service. I'll definitely make it a point to come back again. Highly recommended.

I have to go to the trouble of posting a review for Kai because the staff did everything for us. They are the best in any category that you bring up--food, service, setting, atmosphere, value, and so on. I know that TA reviews are full of superlatives, such as "best cheesecake ever", etc. I'm going way beyond that. In decades of eating out and in several countries, our meal at Kai was best of all. This was our fourth visit to Kai over the last 8 years or so. Always an outstanding culinary experience with unique service and great views. If you are looking for a unique experince, this is it!

Cindy Owens

One of the best dining experience my husband I have every had. Service was exemplary.

Ronn Ford

Possibly the best overall dinner experience ever, great food, beautiful ambience, waiters tell the whole native indian story during dinner with each course. We even found a gift, hand signed by our waiter in our vehicle arrived by valet. We highly recommend!!

Kevin Axx

Probably the most amazing dining experience available in Arizona. Everything about it is impeccable and very well orchestrated. Ali is a must for special occasions.

A Z

Excellent. A splurge restaurant, but worth it.

Jaclyn Bond

Kai was an epic culinary journey with amazing service. This experience was filled with wonderful surprises and delicious food. I'm so thankful Kevin was our waiter! He was knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant!

keith johnson

I took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day weekend. Not only was the food outstanding, the service was out of this world. Our server Kevin was amazing, he took his time telling us the history of the local Native American culture, and how it influences the food at kai. From start to finish, it was a delightful experience. One of the best places to get fresh seafood in the desert, and cooked in thoughtful ways. I will definitely be back.

Nata Li

Outstanding service but food, despite the presentation, not so good. Never take chocolate cake, it's disgusting. Little disappointed for choosing this restaurant for celebrating my birthday.

Amazing experience!

Claudia Stiglic

Hands down the best experience and food I've had in a long time. Truly, it was so refreshing. If you are visiting Arizona like, add this experience to the list. It's not a place you want to let loose but rather a place you want to fall into and indulge the journey the chef has outlined. Best truffles I've also ever tasted!

Vanessa Sosa

Excelente dining experience the staff was so polite they always made sure we were taken care of they really made our one year anniversary special I would highly recommend this place

Suzanne Frey

One of my dishes was outstanding - the squash soup. But much over-did it on the bread (esp the fried bread / dense bread on the side - both w my lobster tail and my dessert - not to mention the side bread served). I was here for a group dinner and all 3 main choices had red meat in them - and the alternatives were super-limited (I basically ended up w 2 appetizers). I'm a cook, a foodie, and I love great new dishes, but I'm picky and appreciate flexibility and choice. It's been a long time since I've been anywhere where folks assumed everyone eats red meat. I didn't find this place a great fit for me - and if you're vegetarian or vegan (which I am not!), I wish you extra good luck!

Heather Marie

The food and service are exceptional and it truly is a 5 star experience! I appreciate that the restaurant aspires to bring you a farm-to-table experience and pay tribute to the surrounding Native American tribes. Everything we had was delicious and the employees are so knowledgeable. The wine list is also incredible. We will dine here again!

Gene Turner

Awesome experience and food.

Inga Hovhannisyan

Wow, what an incredible experience! Thank you chef Swanson for the delicious and beautiful meal! Huge thank you to our amazing server Jackson who made it an absolutely wonderful experience. This is a "must go" place if you're in Phoenix, AZ! Ask for Jackson, he is the BEST!!!

Bill Becker

First, it is very expensive. If you're not wealthy, you might suffer from buyer's remorse after seeing your bill. If you can afford a $500 meal (party of 2 with wine) or $200 (without wine) or $100 (without appetizer) or $50 (without cocktails, wine, appetizers or dessert), the food is outstanding (although the lobster was undercooked). If you're accustomed to overly solicitous wait staffs, you will also enjoy it. Every dish (including tiny amuse bouche) is described to you in minute detail and each person seems to have his own waiter (we were a party of three and when the dishes came out, three waiters waltzed to our table perfectly choreographed). That may be something you are accustomed to but for us average folks it seems slightly over the top. Also, be prepared for lessons about the local native tribe, which owns the resort. So to sum up: Kai is for rich people who like their meal to come with instructions. But the buffalo and foie gras were delicious, and the sunset view was breathtaking. As a birthday celebration for a foodie like me, it was a once-every-few-years delightful experience.

Mary Melchisedech

Got food poisoning they should have been ashamed to serve 1/8 in or less prime rib it was terrible sad for a 4 star restaurant .

My husband and I had a great time here. The food is amazing and their crew are friendly and warm. Plus the impeccable service from start to finish. This is one of those underrated restaurants in AZ. Experience this place yourself!

I take my wife here every Saturday night. We love a d enjoy the food and atmosphere. They provide amazing customer service.

Schante Brown

A real experience. This is not my typical night out on the town, and for the price I was pleasantly surprised ayt the portions. I'm a big guy, and when I ordered the buffalo I was expecting a small piece of meat on a white plate with strange garnishes. Luckily that's not what you get here. The meal was big enough for me. We had a great table with a view of the sunset. I was very happy with the attention to detail. Good food, good service, great views.

Christopher Bailey

The food was excellent. The service was better! This is the kind of place where two servers bring the plates of food so that both guests are served at the same exact time. Even the bread served with dinner has a heritage story. An absolute thrill of an experience. Worth the high cost of admission.

Ashley Powell

I recently attended a conference at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass, and was invited to a group dinner at Kai. We were seated in a room with the wine in the back of the restaurant. We were served several courses, and before each one a server would describe in detail the course and what it was composed of. Very nice touch. Our initial appetizer was composed of various mushrooms on (I believe) a piece of Indian fry bread. Delicious. Then we were offered a choice of a salad type appetizer and a seafood one. I opted for the seafood, which was composed of a raw oyster; fried oyster; and grilled halibut. The quality of the seafood was amazing, and the taste of the oysters and halibut were just accented lightly, to allow the natural flavors to come through. For the main course, the choice was a ribeye steak or seafood. I again opted for the seafood, which consisted of black cod; shrimp; and scallop, over which a butter/uni sauce was drizzled. The black cod was sumptuous and the scallop was the finest I have eaten. I felt the shrimp was a tad overdone, but was tasty nevertheless. Those who chose the steak raved about how tender and delicious it was. For dessert, we were offered an assortment of sorbets or chocolate cake. I chose the sorbets, which consisted of lemon/sage; cranberry; and raspberry (?). Was a really refreshing way to end the dinner. The service was amazing. I would be tempted to go back to see what the regular menu is like.

Elizabeth Brix

This is a special place! Great food, service and atmosphere. The staff took care of every detail, from taking our valet ticket so the car was out front when we finished our meal to a number of special complimentary treats. There is a team taking care of you lead by a head waiter. Ours was Jeremy and he was outstanding. Informative, knowledgeable and took the time to learn our names so that he could look after our requests. We started with drinks and followed his recommendations. I had a twist on a Moscow Mule made with Elderflower and mint which was delicious. We ordered from the a la carte menu starting with two beautiful salads and the escargot. We also had the lobster, buffalo and trout. Each dish was outstanding and beautiful. Jeremy’s assistant was Connor. He was great as well sharing interesting information and making pleasant conversation. We never felt rushed but there was always someone there to anticipate our needs. For the level of service, we did not think the bill was outrageous. It’s definitely a special occasion place and one that I would love to visit again next time I’m in Phoenix.

Made reservation, went out of our way to get here, only to be told that shorts and my friends' shoes are unacceptable (in 100+ degree weather). I have eaten at Michelin Star restaurants with the same outfit and with less pretentious rules, yet my money is apparently not worth it if they have to see my suave legs. Made reservation online and didn't see any sort of alert about this (although apparently it is on there somewhere). I would give it a 0 to represent the 0 amount of food I got. That said the buffalo w/ chorizo looked incredible but what a shame that I won't ever give this place another chance.

Matt Shindel

One of the best restaurants in the valley - this is the one for special occasions! Very impressive, creative and tasty dishes served by the skilled and knowledgeable crew.

Very interesting place to eat. A bit on the pricey side. I did not really understand the Native American interpretation too much. The concept was a bit confusing, but it definitely has their own market niche

Terry Garay

Amazing food and an amazing experience!! My husband took me for our anniversary, and from beginning to finish this was truly an incredible evening!!

Northwest transporter Inc

Excellent service and excellent food. Very professional and nologblle staff After we dine there Saturday evening then come back to our room we discover small gift package and thank you card from the restaurant managment on our room door. Its is a great experience to dine there. We recommend to everyone

I’ve been in many fine restaurants all over this country, but this is a cut above. It’s one of those restaurants where you just can’t go wrong with whatever you order. We had the buffalo and had the duck. Both were outstanding. The wait staff were very attentive. The cocktails were first rate. We went there for our anniversary. Not only did they present us with a dessert, but they also gave us an anniversary card on our way out. Memorable. One of the top three or four restaurants in the entire country in my opinion.

Keecha Harris

I used to look forward to dining at Kai. I make an annual trip to Phoenix with the first matter of business being scheduling dinner at what was a culinary haven. Kai has a new chef who is not new to its kitchen. However, his efforts to distinguish himself have literally turned into a mush. I tried two dishes that are standards on the menu- the previously spectacular garden salad and the appeasing buffalo. The salad remains something interesting to look at. However it lacks depth and breadth of flavor as the accent sauces have no flavor and add little to the presentation (micro dollops of white veggie blends on a white plate). The buffalo was a salty disaster. The meat was overcooked to medium well although medium rare was requested. It was served over a bed of unremarkable corn something and the saltiest chorizo that I have ever experienced. It was literally a case of the pig fighting the buffalo in your mouth. Most saddening was the service. The attendant, Feliciano, was a major flop. He offered limited explanations of the art on the menus and most appeared when it was time to take my order. I have dined at this restaurant for nearly a decade. I hope that they don't lose their stars. They have certainly lost their shine.

William Creamer

No doubt about it, this was a great experience. Not 5 star because food was fantastic, but not irresistible. Service is wonderful, as you'd imagine. Great seats no matter where you're sitting and it's quite private since tables are far apart. Everyone has a view. It's quiet and dark and proper. Definitely one of those nights where you feel somewhat awkward as you try to act fancier than you are. Tasting menu didn't disappoint. there was just no dish I still dream of. Tagliatelle with truffle as a supplement was great. Plenty of truffle and since you're there, you might as well upgrade. The hen was also tasty, and I normally do not order chicken at restaurants. It was juicy and cooked well. By the time we got to the desserts, I was full. Chocolates of all different flavors was presented in front of you.

Laurel Sternberg

The food and the service were spectacular. A memorable evening.

Amy Henson

This was one of the most extraordinary dining experiences of my life. The service was impeccable, the food was exquisite, and the ambiance was incredible. We thoroughly appreciated the presentation and the little touches that made the evening unforgettable. This is a must for anyone traveling to the Phoenix area!

Jesse Starks

Awesome place, highly recommend it , food was great , service friendly. Cant wait to go there again.

Food and service were great

Jerry Peralta

Outstanding food and service. By far the best in the Phoenix metro area.

Roamer1

Fantastic dining experience! Much more than just dinner. Yes its upscale therefore pricey but well worth it. Feliciano helped us decide some dishes and with no regret finished our NY Strip and Bison dishes. Valet leaves chocolate and Voss water in your car. Cant say enough about how great Kai is and eager to return! Jeremy has been our server twice and nothing short of amazing. He really enjoys his job and is knowledgeable. Ask for him!

If I ever have a dining experience more expertly crafted, attentive, and delicious than the one my wife and I had at KAI for our anniversary dinner, I wouldn't believe it to be possible. I cannot begin to express just how amazing a meal here is, it is just something you have to experience for yourself.

This is such a special dining experience which touches the senses - from wonderfully and tastefully seasoned dishes to beautifully created works of art, palate and atmosphere-cleansing delights . . . and this time, we were seated closer to the entrance to enjoy a flute player who also played the guitar - so peaceful and relaxing. The staff is INCREDIBLE - they are charismatic, knowledgeable and professional. Jeremy is always a special delight and shares details of the prep and ingredients. The chef is absolutely inspired with indigenous ingredients that are truly delicious. Do yourself a favor and make your reservation at Kai - you will not be disappointed!

More than a dinner, an exceptional experience in Phoenix. When you arrive, the receptionist knows your name and asked you few detail about you ant then everybody in the restaurant comes and discusses with you. What a great way to welcome people. Then it's still exceptional : the manager told you the story of the restaurant linked with native indians. The dinner then, was perfect : we had the foie gras and the lobster to start and then the lamb and the waygu beef...Exquisite ! Great service + great dinner who overpasses a 3 stars michelin must do in Phoenix and even in Arizona. Thank you for this wonderful moment Magique !

Kai is... shall i say truly an experience all of its own? There is really nothing like it, and the food is just, seriously to die for, but the level of service you get, makes you want to return because you feel like family, or royalty or maybe both? We just enjoyed it so much! Thank you to all the kai staff!!

Carol Groeger

Service was good food was exceptional

Colleen Strawhacker

Kai was so worth the splurge. The food and experience was absolutely incredible. The best part is that it is Indigenous-led and run. I would highly recommend saving up some going out money and spending it here!

Suzan Avery

My husband and I so enjoyed our experience at Kai. The food was artfully and delicately placed on our plates. Each bite was an adventure in earthy depth of flavor. A truly satisfying evening with wonderful service. Kudos to Kai.

John R. Scott

Read the reviews as they are the truth. So much has been written about Kai that i cannot make it sound much better , so ill do a simple rundown. Service - A + And I'm talking about the French Room in Dallas A+. Not anything you would find in Scottsdale (unfortunately) or similar "classy" cities. Food - Again A + in the way you would want coursed meal to look, taste and be presented. Quality / Cost - Worth every penny, and the card, champagne plus chocolates sent by the chef waiting for us in our room after the completion of dinner was what has won me over and set Kai apart. Ps. This is after multiple visits, which is in itself amazing to have ZERO drop off in any of the category'

Stephanie Wright

You can't go wrong by stopping in this eatery. Wonderful atmosphere and the food is great. Cold beers with a full liquor bar. Food is great. You have to try the smoke fish dip

Ramon Ramos Jr.

Daniel Spickard

The best experience I have ever had. From the time we arrived till the drive home it was above & beyond Amazing!!! I will be back annually.

John Coelho

Best service, food, and ambiance of any fine dining establishment I have ever visited.

Seafood is imaculate Perfection on the plate

Hunter Nance

Kelle Rene

Amazing service and food experience that will leave you in awe. Best tasting I have ever had and a lovely view to boot.

Tory Ream

Emili McCall

All great, a little service problem

Hyde Van Brutton

Very interesting place to eat. A bit on the pricey side. I did not really understand the Native American interpretation too much. The concept was a bit confusing, but it definitely has their own market niche

Terry Garay

Amazing food and an amazing experience!! My husband took me for our anniversary, and from beginning to finish this was truly an incredible evening!!

Lee Hollingsworth

When I don't say anything, it means it's normal nothing special

Josette Frye

Large portions!!!

Dan McKenna

There is not a better dining experience available. Every level of your meal will be done in the most impeccable way, but still not be pretentious. You will have an amazing adventure in flavors, and incredible presentation. Truly edible art. The food is worth every penny. You will not be disappointed.

This place really deserves a 5 star! great food, atmosphere and service! YUM

Nicholas Konstantino

If I ever have a dining experience more expertly crafted, attentive, and delicious than the one my wife and I had at KAI for our anniversary dinner, I wouldn't believe it to be possible. I cannot begin to express just how amazing a meal here is, it is just something you have to experience for yourself.

Robert Saylors

Fantastic food and great service.

Shea Boyle

Service was amazing and the food was wonderful.

Jordon Stackhouse

Jonathan Cohen

Elisabeth Reich

Kai is... shall i say truly an experience all of its own?

My husband and I ate dinner here for our anniversary. Our dinner was wonderful and the service we received from Jeremy Stulak, the sommelier, as well as the other gentlemen was excellent! Thank you for a wonderful evening! We will definitely be recommending this restaurant to our family and friends.

Absolutely amazing! The staff and food were above expectation, which is saying a lot. I was expecting it to be somewhat stuffy, but the staff was warm and inviting. They even snuck a thank you note into our room during the meal. The elk steak is one of the best plates I have ever had.

Alex Dubya

Spectacular tasting menu and the wine pairing, while excessive, was extremely well done. Would recommend to anyone wanting an amazing dining experience

Payal Guerrero

My husband and I considered this restaurant one of our favorite places to eat. We wanted to celebrate valentine's day this Saturday and we were disappointed. Looks like they have a new chef and the quality of food is not the same as before. One of the dishes Foie Gras was really salty and almost inedible. For desserts we got dried donuts which were disgusting. The service was also disappointing, when I tried to talk to the server about Foie Gras, instead of asking for what I didn't like, he says "Its not for everyone." I can tell you this restaurant is not for everyone either, certainly not for us. We are not coming back.

Hank Groff

In 25 years of taking out clients, this was by far the greatest restaurant I have ever frequented. The quality of food and service was out of this world. I highly recommend this restaurant

Krissy Meyer

One of the best dining experiences ever. The staff was impeccable, professional, friendly, and had a little dash of fun. Loved the story of the menu and the art, the background of the restaurant and knowing they use and support local business.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to. The food is fenomenal and the service is even better. The native american infusion of the restaurant makes the experience and every taste a unique experience.

Selena Hiett

We had the short story, too much food, portions are regular not tasting menu portions. Staff is pretty good. We got a beautiful menu to take home but no other treat like other guests have received boo. Five stars is for the kachk.

Maria Alejandra Melendez

The best experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant in the US or any country I’ve been. From the moment you check in, get your table... the experience is just 7-stars. I love the food, the service and how they tell the story of every single dish. Prices were reasonable I was expecting more based on the service. I would definitely visit them again! Thank you for the present and the card and the bottle of water they left in my car when I picked it up from the valet. Very thoughtful.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here last year. From the moment we were seated until we left several hours later we were the complete center of attention of our own wait staff. The food was unlike any I've eaten before, the accompanying story was enjoyable and the server's actions were like an orchestrated dance. The atmosphere was wonderful. If it sounds a little too much to you that's because it was. I've eaten at nice restaurants from New York City to Chicago, but Kai left them all in the dust. I would not hesitate to visit again.

James Gallaga

Michelin star experience. Staff was amazing, very precise and choreographed service yet down to earth and very personable. We felt exceptionally spoiled by our server Kevin which made our tenth anniversary dinner one that will not be forgotten. We did the smaller tasting called The Short Story which proved to be exactly the right amount of food, however since I was so intrigued with what all the other dishes were that passed our table I may go for The Journey next time. Beautifully rustic and smokey notes woven throughout the tasting course was a refreshing reminder that the best food comes from the earth, not from a mad-sci "chef" and his little test-tubes.

I cannot begin to describe what a phenomenal experience this was. This restaurant makes me want to go back and give 4 stars to everyone else that isn't them. You are not ready. If you are looking for unique and exemplary, this is it! The service was the best I have ever experienced in an Arizona restaurant. The food was creative, delicious, and new. The cultural learning that comes with the meal was by far my favorite part. The art incorporated into the decor and menu was beautiful. It made the meal feel special and personal. I loved our server Jackson. He was absolutely delightful and made my birthday dinner exceed my expectations! You could tell he loves his job. He made me love this restaurant. The wine selection was on point. And the bar tender is clearly the best money can buy! Ask for my Mojito. It's the best I've had in my life. The manager also took time to come talk to us, and was so welcoming and kind. I'm just lucky I wasn't wearing socks. They would have been blown right off.

Thalia Pepper

I found that the service was attentive and impeccable. Besides enjoying a shop stopping dinner this event also was slightly educational from the interpretations fo menu paintings described by our server. Dinner takes about three hours without the multi course tastings. Several amuse bouche are served and tribal flute music plays in the background. If you attended Devoured this year you might have picked up a card from Kai that would give each guest a complimentary glass of wine and a complimentary appetizer. For two people that adds up to a $70. savings. If you still have your card now is the time to try Kai fi you were thinking of doing so.

Patricia Arenas

Our waitress Annie was great!

Nhan Tran

Anniversary Dinner, not a horrible experience, but absolutely far from 5 stars especially for the price and to compare with the other fine dining places AZ has to offer like Binkley's, and Sel to name a couple. To start off, they ask in the reservation if we had any dietary concerns, which I stated in the reservation. They confirmed it at the table... then when we chose the pre fixe course which had some of the dietary restrictions, they really didn't have other options for it, they should state that on the phone confirmation or even in the menu that there is no substitute for the main courses?... Another HUGE thing in my opinion is, for a place of this category, when someone states they are pregnant which means to stay away from red/raw meat and alcohol... they should already know?(my opinion) If us stating that and they didn't know what that means, they should ask upfront "what does that entail?" So all night my wife was served rare meat etc... we didn't make a fuss, just ate small portions of it to be on the safe side and dessert was infused with tequila! So to get to the critique part of this. The first few were very bland, then the main dishes were very similar in flavor... The dishes all had similar qualities and techniques. For a tasting menu I would of thought it would include a vast variety of flavors like the other places have to offer. A few other things to mention, is the server literally said every dish that came out was her favorite... how is this so!? just another selling/ staff habit that was annoying? The wait to get our initial drinks was very long, and I would say the same in between courses as well. They were very hospitable and the dish presentation was nice just lacked the taste to go along with it. All and all for the price and experience I would expect a lot more flavor and creativity!

Tom Weise

Excellent restaurant. Service, food and atmosphere are over the top.

Fred Mays

Took a bit to get our meal but was worth it

Nichole Stephens

Best service Definitely deserve five stars , staff goes above and beyond from time you arrive until you drive away .

Dead Tyrant

This restaurant is a five star five diamond place. It's menu is largely Native American style dishes. The wines are amazing and are paired with your meal. They have a wine and a cigar room there too. The restaurant itself is very relaxing if you get a table by the window you'll be treated to a great view. The only downside is you'll have to dress formal casual and the prices are high, but it's worth it.

Mark D'Aprile

Worthy of its accolades and ranking

Marcy Jones

Superb, over the top amazing evening out at Kai. Most divine meal I have ever had.

A clear recommendation for a visit.

Have been to Kai around ten times over the years. I always take people to get an experience you just don't get anywhere else. The service is unmatched and food is excellent, but the sommelier is below average and the only weekness of Kai. Love it and will be back.

Wow. This was the best dining experience I have ever had, hands down. So far I have not been overwhelmingly impressed with the fine dining in Arizona but this was phenomenal. Lindsay, the bartender, made my mom a drink based on the flavor of the amuse bouche we enjoyed in the lounge. By far the best cocktail I have ever tried. It should be on the menu. Our server Jeremy was just wonderful. The entire staff was wildly attentive and friendly, it did not feel stuck up in the least. Food was absolutely amazing. The pumpkin soup, lock entice steelhead, and the tribal buffalo are a must. Look forward to going back for another special occasion.

Rachel Skipper

This is definitely dining elevated to art with consideration paid to all senses. We did The Journey tasting menu. It was course after course of perfection. The service was excellent and the staff was very knowledgeable and well trained. If you can afford it and love food then you should visit.

Amazing experience. Incredible attention to detail. I was especially impressed with the multiple ways Native American culture was incorporated.

Mindy Rogers

Kevin and the rest of the knowledgeable and professional staff made this an amazing, delicious dining experience! My co-workers and I had a fabulous time, and the customer service experience was superior!

Christopher Beyer

The drinks and food are amazingly well done. More than the food though is the culture. A real effort is made to teach you about the local tribes, their history, and to weave their culture into your meal and dining experience. Great for special occasions. A good chefs tasting menu.

Worthy of its accolades and ranking

Superb, over the top amazing evening out at Kai. Most divine meal I have ever had.

Casey Yontz

World class. There's nothing like it. They make you feel like you're a celeb, and it's the best food in the state, perhaps the region. There should be more stars available to give.

Have been to Kai around ten times over the years. I always take people to get an experience you just don't get anywhere else. The service is unmatched and food is excellent, but the sommelier is below average and the only weekness of Kai. Love it and will be back.

Dr. Fontaine

What a wonderful experience! I had never experienced Native American cuisine and storytelling until Kai. This is definitely THE PLACE that I designate for special occasions. The service is impeccable and the food is phenomenal.

This is definitely dining elevated to art with consideration paid to all senses. We did The Journey tasting menu. It was course after course of perfection. The service was excellent and the staff was very knowledgeable and well trained. If you can afford it and love food then you should visit.

This dinner was the highlight of my trip to Phoenix. Thank you Kai for treating my party and myself to a fantastic meal. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely be coming back! Thanks again for the hospitality.

Karin Burns
