We arrived when it was not busy. There was only one occupied table. We ordered our drinks and thought we were gonna get it pretty quick since they were not that busy. The waitress took our order and we helped ourselves to the salad bar. We ate our salad and we waited for awhile. It started to pick up with customers. As it began to pick up that waitress was helping other customers with drinks when we were still waiting for ours. So I thought oh ok I guess they come first when we clearly ordered first? So finally she gave us our food and yet still no drinks. So I had to ask for them. I'm sorry but I'm Native American and felt not welcomed there. I also have a friend that had the same exact feeling when he ate there. Plus the food I got was not worth spending $14 on. The ribs I got had hardly any meat loaded with too much BBQ sauce.

Had to wait a couple of hours for the Antelope Canyon tours so we decided to hunt down good food and we came across this place. I ordered a steak with the au ju dipping sauce, it was so delicious I ordered a second one. Everybody I came to the restaurant with enjoyed their food tremendously and the staff was extremely friendly

Former local but this place started up after I had moved. In town for the weekend and friend recommend this place and since I’ve never eaten here figured why not? Live band pretty awesome , drinks good but food not so much. Friend ordered a prime rib medium rare and it came out med well/well done and watching him cut into was like watching someone cut cardboard. I had a burger with just lettuce asked for it rare and it came out well done?? It was pretty late and I was hangry so I ended up eating since I didn’t want to wait an additional 20 minutes. I ordered the steam veggies and those were pretty good. I’ll come back and hopefully my next order will redeem my review.

This place try to put on a western theme, not an easy feat when your located within a strip mall, and they work with what they have. The food for the most part is good, eaten here twice and enjoyed it both times. I've heard mixed reviews though and I tend to listen to others. They have live music here at times and their band is enjoyable.

The food here is surprisingly good. We also had an excellent waiter who made our experience that much better. I would certainly recommend this place for anyone wanting a place to eat in walking district of the nearby hotels.

Wonderful restaurant and entertaining. We pass by one night after driving for so long. We had good food and there was a band playing the nice man came and asked us if our son would like to play in the band so my son was trilled and we had a great time. I recommend this place. By the way it was the only place open at like 9 or 10 p.m.

Hands down the best restaurant experience in Page. Live music several times a week, a good bar, with menu that is "down home". The wait staff is very friendly (most of them are family members). It is worth a visit.

We where seated waited about 15 mins for or server to come over to take our drink order. Took the server 10 mins to bring the drinks when she came back o er asked if we where ready to order we said yes. She had to go get pen and paper. The salad bar came with or dinner where no salad bowls out had to has twice for some one to bring them out. When they got the salad bowls out some of our food came out the rest of us had to wait because what we ordered they where out of so we reorder food came out over cooked. Sent it back chef came out and said they where out of what we ordered so we ended up getting rib eye. When the rib eye finely got to the table the rest of our party was done eatting. The rib eye was not cooked was very disappointing. We will not be back and I will not recommend people to go there

Food was not good. We ordered two times pasta, it was not self made. I had meatballs with it, they were frozen and tasted disgusting. When the waitress asked if everything was OK, I said no and that it doesn't tastes good. She said just OK and left...and didn't try to offer or change something. I would not recommend to go there, no self made food / very disappointed.

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. After waiting 30 minutes after they took our order not seeing our waitress anywhere and seeing people being served who came in after us, my husband paid for his drink by leaving the money on the table and we left. Not recommended.

My family and I had a great experience here. Cedric was our waiter and he was very professional and polite. The food was perfect! Live band was great and our kids went up on the stage and played the tambourines. I highly recommend this place to anyone driving through Page. We will definitely come back when we are in town!!!

We were staying nearby on vacation to see Antelope Canyon. Wow, this place was such a treat. This place definitely had the "Western" feel to it. This restaurant had a variety of foods. We were very pleased by the service. Our entree let you choose soup and salad at the salad bar. They had a variety of things to put on your salad and the soup of the day was flavorful and delicious. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo. The portion was just right, but I was quite full from eating from the salad bar. It was nice to have a bit of leftovers for the next meal. The flavor of the entree was just right. It was not too salty and not bland at all. I definitely would recommend coming here to eat if you have the chance to! There weren't too many restaurants around and I would say this one would be the one to choose!

For the money, this is a very good place to eat. It may need more decor, but my burger tasted like ground sirloin and was perfect. The salad bar was a good bargain. Its a crazy open space. The store area is measured in acres. The waitress Shannon said she gets 20 miles in a day working the tables in this restaurant.......I'm kidding.

Had the buffet and it was great! Loved the western style decor. And the twin waitresses were very friendly and helpful! They were identical so I never knew if it was the same one or not. Keep up the amazing work!

My daughter and I visited Page last weekend and had a marvelous dinner at Gone West. We had the shrimp Alfredo (amazing!!), the from scratch Chili (holy moly delicious!!), and a blackberry cobbler that took me back to summer nights when I was little. While we were enjoying the deliciousness a band started playing a great mix of Johnny Cash, John Denver, and some current radio favorites. It was a great experience. Our server was friendly and attentive, the food was excellent, and the entertainment was top notch. We'll definitely go again the next time we're in town.

The service was terrible, slow. Waiter was good though. We were told they were out of the dinner "special", prime rib, (after placing our order) at 5:15 pm on Saturday night, with only 3 tables occupied. Other diners ordered this same "special" after we were told they were out, and were served the prime rib. When we asked the waiter, he said "the button wouldn't work" when he input our order. Did nothing to rectify the issue. Pure Byrd operation.

Really good American food, which otherwise was non existent in Page. I had the top sirloin with salad bar and two sides for $16 which is very fair. I like the atmosphere, Western style. My server Jacob did a good job. All our food was very good. We will definitely be back.

Not what I typically choose in a restaurant but the food was incredible for both my wife and I. I had the bone-in pork chops, she had the shrimp alfredo and they both were outstanding but, as good as the food was, it was the customer service that made the experience so memorable. Rick our server/bartender provided stellar customer service and is a very interesting guy to talk to as well. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

This place is hilarious. It looks kind of like a school cafeteria that is decked out in country. They have a live band. The food is a little on the pricey side. But worth it for the experience.

We ordered a humus plate, and the carrot and celery sticks came with it were warm and not cold while tomatoes and zucchini sticks were cold and nice. The pita bread was warm and not at a room temperature. I ordered a caesar salad with chicken, and the chicken tasted like deli meat and not a real grilled chicken. We had Gail as our server, and I had to wait for ten minutes for my coffee refill after she told me that she was bringing me some more. I didn't have a glass of water, either, so I was out of any drink for a long period of time and was getting anxious because I wanted have a sip before my next bite. Since I didn't see her near our table for a long time, I walked up to a different server for more coffee. He acknowledged my request, but did nothing. When Gail finally showed up to our table, she asked if I wanted more coffee and offered no apology for not bringing me any the last time. At the end of the dinner, I had a whole large bowl of salad to take home, so I asked her a box as well as our check. What she brought next was only a small box that I would have to squish the whole thing in, and there was no check. We had to wait some more before she finally brought a large box and the check. Maybe something was wrong with her, but she should have at least apologized. It was such a frustrating experience.

the owners were super friendly and nice. the show was a lot of fun and the place and decor is an odd slice of Americana. when we were there half the people were foreign tourists who got a real kick off the country music vibes and half were locals who genuinely ate it up. i got the quesadilla, which i did not like very much.

Food was only mediocre, my steak was quite tough and came out of the kitchen cold. The wait staff were young and seemed inexperienced - - my wife asked for the dressing on her Caesar salad on the side and the waitress commented she had never heard that request before. None of the staff showed any enthusiasm or presence.

Super supper; Packed, with locals, bus loads of tourist's and solo travelers alike. Live music was excellent and got the mix rocking the dance floor. When we arrived for a sort of late lunch on a weekday in October, business was slooooow. There was a large group in the back room (tour bus, maybe two) that left very shortly after, but no one else in the main, front room. The guy who came out and greeted and seated us, though, was really friendly and helpful. The food was good and decently priced, he stopped by to check on us at reasonable intervals, and everything was fine. Before we were done a few other customers came in and they were treated and served well from what I could hear, as they sat behind me. Even while cleaning up after a huge group, service and food prep was prompt. No idea what the place is like on a busy night in season when the house band is playing, but our experience was really good.

Loved the food and ambiance of the place. A real country place. No frills just great food at a very reasonable price! There is a pub at the back and a live band was playing old fun music which we enjoyed. The only downside was the flying fruit flies around our food. There were about 3 of them. But i loved the porkchops, which were tender and juicy, the corn on the cob, roasted veggies and the salad bar! Im glad we chose to eat at Gone West.

Went here for lunch included in a tour. The restroom was clean as was the restaurant. The food did not match the description provided by the tour group for preorder - for example the croissant club sandwich came with thin slices of Turkey lunchmeat, cheese product that looked like a single serve Kraft American slice, a slice of a green tomato and some wilted lettuce and bacon slathered in mayo. Perhaps I was disappointed because the description was significantly different than what I received. The staff was friendly but I did have to request my food twice and recieved it when everyone else was almost finished eating.

Unfortunately the worst food we’ve had for a long long time. Everything was more or less cold when we finally got it and tasted as having been cooked on the day before - same with the salad bar. The service was ok, even though we had to order twice since our first waitress disappeared after taking our order.

Quite possibly my favorite place ever. Roasted chicken was amazing, moist and falling off the bone, NY strip steak was perfectly cooked, sides of beans, coleslaw, and cornbread were generous. All of this was eclipsed by the live band inviting kids up to play tambourines onstage in cowboy hats. The band even learned new songs from my daughters 8 and 11 so they could sing pop songs. Don't be dissuaded by the strip mall entrance, and go to the backroom with picnic tables, a bar, and live music.

Awful. 0 stars would be more fair, the service was the worst service we have had ANYWHERE in the world, they should not be allowed to open their doors, it was disgraceful. I read lots of the reviews and thought "oh they can't be that bad" but they were much worse, and they didn't even care that they were so bad. When we arrived there were about six tables in use and five or six staff in and around the restaurant, we waited at least 15 minutes after being given a menu and had to ask twice for someone to take our order, should have walked out then tbh. We had our main course served BEFORE the starter, I asked where was the starter at that point and the young girl said "oh I'll go and get it" (she didn't) so even after we had finished our main course there was no sign of the starter, part of a meal price so we then had to go and FIND a server to eventually get the starter. The food was only 'acceptable' if we had been in our own country I would have refused to pay. If you only ever take advice from one review in your life please believe me, listen to this and Go North, East or South but don't Go West.

We just finished a one week vacation on the lake, staying in Page. Ate out dinner several times, and Gone West was definitely the best meal and had great live music. I had the ribeye and my wife had a hamburger. I think this has to be one of the best restaurants in Page.

Wow what a diamond in the desert. The staff was super nice and efficient. The bartender not only made "excellent" drinks, but was super nice and fun, the band was incredible and the singer was truly a delight to listen to. The twins were absolutely adorable and really efficient serving everyone. Now for the food, it was amazing. I had the ribs and they were tender, falling off the bone, perfectly seasoned and some of the best ribs I've ever had. Make sure to go to the back of the restaurant for all of the wonderful entertainment! Well worth a stop in Page!

The food is not very good. The atmosphere reminds me of a poor version of Cattleman's Ranch from the TV show Fresh Of The Boat. The waiters make an effort but don't have much to work with. The restaurant options are limited in Page but I would avoid this one.

Gone West is a family restaurant with a John Wayne theme. It's located in a strip mall so it was not easily seen from the road. The menu features burgers, steaks, and pasta, tastily prepared and served in generous portions. There is also an average salad bar. Beers and wine are also served. Parking is close in and ample. There is a large banquet room, which has the capability for live music. Restrooms are good and since the restaurant is popular with families, there are booster seats. Dinner for two with wine was +$30.
