Feel like getting away to a little small taste of France but don’t have the time to travel? Ghini’s is your taste of France in Tucson! Their breakfast garlic tofu province with side of hash is Devine! No bread for me so I do the greens. Their dressing is incredible. My Neice has their avocado on a baguette face up breakfast and well my sister enjoyed their other French dish that I can’t pronounce! She was in heaven, loved their food and her first time visiting. She has been dying to go to France and well, when not in France, you go to Ghini’s! Place is cute and stop in the bakery. Just don’t be in a hurry while waiting at the bakery, their usually slow. Dining is fast and of course, the best happy hour! Their muscles in garlic sauce... delicious!

Good brunch menu. I had cheddar biscuits and sausage gravy. They tasted home made - almost like Mom used to make. I expected the cheddar to be baked inside the biscuit, but it was melted on top instead. Still good, but was too much cheese for me. My husband had a tasty breakfast sandwich of bacon, grilled tomato, and cheese on a croissant. Plus he got a cinnamon roll to go. Would like to try the crepes next time.

Went here for a “Bridal Brunch” with about six people and had an excellent time! Our waitress was Dee and she was great! (We had a girl in training also who messed up a few things, but she was learning and trying her best). Drink selections were great, lots of mimosa options, some I’ve always wanted to try, and Italian soda flavors that were really nice! (I got the almond Italian cream soda, and it was great), the food was delicious and the ambiance very cute! And on top of all of that, they brought us out a darling strawberry cream biscuits for our celebration! And Dee took our picture when we asked without even a hint of annoyance at our request! Which I lived closer so I could visit more often(I live about an hour and a half away), but I will surely be back as soon as I can!

We are snowbirds, who discovered this place this year, and are glad we did. They make the best omelets in Tucson. Some really good French toast too and good (if not a little pricey) coffee. Service has always been super friendly and efficient. They have an outdoor patio that is shaded and has misters in the summer (dog friendly too). They are open for breakfast and lunch, and do dinners on Friday and Saturday with happy hour (check their website for hours). Lots of other stuff on the menu that we haven't tried...something for everyone. Nice relaxing atmosphere, and a phenomenal bakery attached!

We're new Tucson residents and we've been here three times within two weeks! Great patio, dog friendly, lovely clientele, always lively conversations and the food is fabulous. Omelettes are our fave. Take home a loaf of bread, cookies or quiche!

French style cafe restaurant that's dog friendly. Food was good, not the best french food I've had but pretty good and reasonably priced. Service was pretty fast and attentive. Our group showed up on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. Even with a reservation there was a wait (about 15 minutes). Worth checking out but we probably won't go out of our way to go there again.

It took us way too long to get out food. They messed up my friends order and we didn't have time to wait for a new one so we left. They forgot part of my meal as well and I had to wait 5 minutes for my 2 eggs that came out cooked wrong! I'd say it was worth it but the food was average at best and I probably won't come back ever. I'd give it a 3/5 if they didn't mess anything up because like I said the food was good enough but the service and wait time weren't! Also why do you have to pay $2 for maple syrup if I'm buying French toast!?!? To be fair the coffee drinks we ordered were very good so that's a plus

Really great food and friendly staff. My son had French toast. It was huge and he loved it. I had biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were freshly made. It was SO good. I also had a lavender mimosa. Delish!!!

I haven't lived in Tucson in 6 years, yet still crave the garlic chicken. I live in Las Vegas now and still can't find a dish that makes me this incredibly warm, happy, and satisfied! I've even tried to recreate it, but just cannot get it right. If I ever get back to Tucson, you bet I'll be at Ghini's...I'll be the one ordering a double of that chicken and sauce!

Yum yum yum. Great atmosphere, including a dog-friendly patio with misters. The lavendar lemonade is soooooo delicious and refreshing! You can also get your set of reusable stainless steel straws at the register. Ghini's supports ending systemic domestic violence.

EDIT: owner is now saying that there’s brunch. Places I found the ALL DAY BRUNCH are right outside of their restaurant. But when I go in, they say there’s not all day brunch and that dinner starts at 3:00pm. Instead of ensuring that brunch was actually served all day, I get told I should have just stayed for dinner since I made the drive. This place has signs everywhere outside stating “ALL DAY BRUNCH” to include their website. Turns out you get there and they stop serving at 3:00pm. MAJOR FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Highly disappointed as I drove over an hour to try this place.

Every aspect of this little operation exceeds all expectations for an outstanding dining adventure. Chef Coralee makes it a practice to visit you at least once during your time at table. Service slow (a good sign---everything cooked to order), but efficient. Prices fair. Atmosphere funky but clean; misters on the patio; dancing in the street! Food excellent in every way (from temp to taste). Not to be mist (get it?)

Walked in on a slow weekday and stood there while staff kept passing me by with my family .... then I asked a waiter and he snapped go sign the wait list . Then after sitting For a very long time .... The man said to a woman did you ever get a table three ? She Laughed and said no I will at some point? I thought of leaving but we were already seated . Finally she took the order we waited be at the food was served by someone else and she just never came back. Eggs were OK the crapes lackluster. I paid the same rude lady when I left at the cashier desk and then I walked out she never looked up her said a word just gave me back my slip . I would never go back !

Not impressed. A group of us had dinner here. How can 2 people order the same thing and the dish comes out of the kitchen looking completely different? Also 2 people ordered the same dish and they came out 10 minutes apart. So disappointed. Noone in our group was impressed and all stated they would not return.

My food was great (eggs Provençal), but we waited almost an hour for food, which was all right except when it did come out, my husband’s corn beef hash with eggs didn’t have any eggs. The server was very apologetic, but said “we didn’t discuss eggs,” which I felt like was a little strange becsuee I would think something called corn beef hash with eggs would automatically come with eggs UNLESS someone asked for no eggs, which didn’t happen. The server was kind and offered to give us the eggs, but it’s been another 30+ minutes And the eggs still haven’t come out. She did end up telling us that the kitchen was backed up, but when I worked in a restaurant, if there was a mistake on the restaurants part, fixing that mistake took priority over other orders. I do love the quality of the food and the coffee is delicious. But I would highly suggest getting more kitchen staff (or whatever needs to happen to ensure people can eat more quickly) and priortizing resolving mistakes ASAP.

Ordered an egg-white omelette with mushrooms, spinach, and feta. Was very bland, and smelled like stinky fish. Overpriced. Order for two people, no alcohol, 2 coffees, $40. Ham & cheese crêpe was good, and bathroom was very nice. Would not come back.

I stumbled upon this location when out with the girls for lunch! We thoroughly enjoyed it! One brought her dog along and pets are welcome! Dogs get their own water and treats while there and that was a very pleasant surprise! We sampled each other's foods as we each had something different! One had the salad plate which was delicious! Another the daily special which was delicious also! I got the crepe filled with chicken and spinach and it was yummy! It's hard to find crepes around town other than and not to compare to the ones at one of a local breakfast chain! Ghini's was a real treat! The Staff so friendly and helpful and willing to make suggestions for any of their wonderful menu items! The prices were reasonable for the amount of food and service given! The pictures shown online are the restaurant! It is not something overly fancy but simply within a shopping area there by Safeway tucked away and unsuspecting! It is a restaurant that if someone didn't know was there could easily be missed but spread the word as it is well worth locating and eating their delicious foods! Enjoy!

We have passed this place a million times and never thought much about stopping. After all, how good can a strip mall restaurant be? Well, the loss was ours because we finally decided to give it a try and found the food to be fantastic! I had the Ham & Swiss Crepes with hash browns and my husband had the Eggs Provencal. Both were excellent! Service was good, ambiance okay. There is an attached bakery with goods to die for. My only criticism was the presence of flies both in the dining room and even inside the bakery cabinets. Not a lot but enough to turn you off to purchasing one of the fancy baked goods when you see a fly landing on it. The prices for breakfast were a bit on the high side but the quality of the food made up for that.

Ghini’s is such a delightful place with incredibly nice and attentive servers! We sat on the patio with our dog and they gave him water and treats and attention. Our meals were fantastic as well! Strongly recommend getting a croissant if possible, and the espresso drinks were also a delight.

Normally I love this place and I love the Pea and bacon salad except for today. I ordered my salad to go when I went to take a couple bites I noticed that the dressing was very pale and there was a lot more salad greens and there were peas and there was absolutely no bacon anywhere on the salad. I wish I had an appointment and couldn't take it back. I did call the restaurant and spoke to the manager who took my name and phone number and said I could have a meal free there the next time I go. I am disappointed. I got home and added some mustard to my salad, I would have added bacon but I didn't have any cooked and by now I'm starving and just wanted to eat.

French food is my fave. However, it is limited in Tucson. What I like about Ghinis is that it is small, cozy and unpretentious. A great french breakfast with a champagne mimosa is a great way to start the day. There is a great French bakery colocated with Ghinis. Try the chocolate croissant with a nice hot coffee. This is where I can relax and treat myself.

Just finished having brunch and it was amazing. I read some of the other reviews and was a little apprehensive about giving it a shot but I’m so glad I did. Service was amazing. Diana was extremely helpful and attentive. Food isn’t pricey but not cheap either it’s priced fair for its quality and portion size. I left full and happy. We’ll definitely be back thank you!

Had some time to kill so stopped in for some brunch. Ended up having breakfast. Two thick pieces of French toast with eggs and sausage. The food looked and tasted good. I then grabbed a Napoleon from the bakery. I'd never had one before, but it looked so good. The Napoleon was fine, though not as good as it looked - or maybe it was perfect and I'm just not a big fan of them. The service was very quick, which was a little odd considering I was trying to kill time, and, despite how quick the service was, nobody seemed to be rushing. I think the service would be quick even if the restaurant were full. The only drawback would be price, particularly in the bakery. I'm not sure how much French pastries cost elsewhere (or even where to get them), but things like danishes and cookies were more expensive than I've seen elsewhere.

Saw this place in the Tucson Foodie, and had to try it out. Honestly not too impressed. I understand that the food is locally sourced, but charging $11 for eggs, 2 tomato slices, and bread, is a little much. That was their specialty to boot. Small portions, for both my husband and I. ( He got some creaps with about 3 TBS of hash browns) Great coffee although we love Arbuckles anyway. 3 stars for the friendly staff. It's kind of strange the way that they have you "sign in". If you're a newbie it's pretty confusing, and you feel like you're being ignored. We both left hungry after paying almost $40 for a few bites of breakfast. Over all, would not return.

My girlfriend really wanted to try this place, so I obliged, however took forever to get are our order taken then the food came our not even warm and undercooked as well as soggy. They offered to remake our food but after a couple minuets I didnt want to stay for the food but my girlfriend insisted. When the replacement food came back remade it was alot better however I had lost my taste for it. They then comped our ice teas and a side of bread, which I thought was almost laughable given the fact that we had been there over an and hour and just barely got our food..

The waitress was so rude. I didn't see a name tag but She had very short brown hair and looked about late 40's to 50. She appeared very bothered & like she hated her job when I asked about the menu. Then she yelled to other staff I thought the soup was too salty and said I wanted to take it off the price when I absolutely did NOT request ANYTHING. She made a fool of herself when she yelled with other patrons looking at her. I know I will NEVER eat there again.

An authentic French flair makes this place a can't miss destination, particularly for brunch. The wait can be a little long on the weekends. The French toast is impossible to deny, croque monsieur divine. The staff was very helpful, keeping drinks topped off and offering their thoughts and favorites. The best part was for a party of seven, the bill was very manageable. Can't wait to go back!

The only odd thing about this place is that you’ll feel like you’re on Kitchen Nightmares because the staff is all fighting which made it unpleasant when everything felt fine... but I’d come back for the food.
