You will see all the reviews of real people who are buying the services of Ghini\'s French Caffe (Restaurant) in Arizona.
Currently the business gets a score of 4.4 stars out of 5 and that score has been based on 621 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is quite positive, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the valuation is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their score when they are satisfied, it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to give reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of French restaurant.
Feel like getting away to a little small taste of France but don’t have the time to travel? Ghini’s is your taste of France in Tucson! Their breakfast garlic tofu province with side of hash is Devine! No bread for me so I do the greens. Their dressing is incredible. My Neice has their avocado on a baguette face up breakfast and well my sister enjoyed their other French dish that I can’t pronounce! She was in heaven, loved their food and her first time visiting. She has been dying to go to France and well, when not in France, you go to Ghini’s! Place is cute and stop in the bakery. Just don’t be in a hurry while waiting at the bakery, their usually slow. Dining is fast and of course, the best happy hour! Their muscles in garlic sauce... delicious!
The crepes were amazing as was my croissant. My date had an amazing omelette with a side of corned beef hash. The service was so so but they were friendly and busy! Try out this gem for breakfast and dinner
Good food but under staffed.
Really delicious breakfast. It's been years since we've been and it was even better than I remember.
It has a lot of choices on the menu. Good verify of dishes that accomodate vegetarians. Service was a bit slow.
Was my first time today! Lovely place, friendly staff. Great coffee!!!
Best breakfast I've had in years..be sure to check out " la baguette" bakery..
Lovely place for pastrys, wonderful workers.
Good brunch menu. I had cheddar biscuits and sausage gravy. They tasted home made - almost like Mom used to make. I expected the cheddar to be baked inside the biscuit, but it was melted on top instead. Still good, but was too much cheese for me. My husband had a tasty breakfast sandwich of bacon, grilled tomato, and cheese on a croissant. Plus he got a cinnamon roll to go. Would like to try the crepes next time.
Was good food
Phenomenal food! Service was meh...the servers did not seem happy and messed up our order. The delicious food made up for it though!
As usual, the food was excellent. But l must say that our server was having a bad day. Between servings, we had to ask for clean plates. That's the reason for the 3 star rating.
My wife and I went for the first time and the food it is delicious. The best hashbrowns we have ever eaten. 4.5 stars on Service. 6 stars on deliciousness.
Nice staff, roulette on dishes
Food was cooked to perfection. Service was outstanding. Atmosphere was wonderful. A must go to..
Went here for a “Bridal Brunch” with about six people and had an excellent time! Our waitress was Dee and she was great! (We had a girl in training also who messed up a few things, but she was learning and trying her best). Drink selections were great, lots of mimosa options, some I’ve always wanted to try, and Italian soda flavors that were really nice! (I got the almond Italian cream soda, and it was great), the food was delicious and the ambiance very cute! And on top of all of that, they brought us out a darling strawberry cream biscuits for our celebration! And Dee took our picture when we asked without even a hint of annoyance at our request! Which I lived closer so I could visit more often(I live about an hour and a half away), but I will surely be back as soon as I can!
Food and service were excellent, but atmosphere a little noisy for me.
Delicious food and great selection. Server was real nice and friendly.
Great food, nice patio dining. Bored waitstaff.
food was AMAZING!!! Service was great, Dean was awesome! She gave great recommendations and was so fun to talk to. Can’t believe I’ve gone so long without knowing about this place.
EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE! Very impressed! I will be back! Also the atmosphere is delightful. They also have a bakery.... Everything looks good!
Great food and nice outside seating
Very nice atmosphere, good food, pleasant service.
We are snowbirds, who discovered this place this year, and are glad we did. They make the best omelets in Tucson. Some really good French toast too and good (if not a little pricey) coffee. Service has always been super friendly and efficient. They have an outdoor patio that is shaded and has misters in the summer (dog friendly too). They are open for breakfast and lunch, and do dinners on Friday and Saturday with happy hour (check their website for hours). Lots of other stuff on the menu that we haven't tried...something for everyone. Nice relaxing atmosphere, and a phenomenal bakery attached!
We're new Tucson residents and we've been here three times within two weeks! Great patio, dog friendly, lovely clientele, always lively conversations and the food is fabulous. Omelettes are our fave. Take home a loaf of bread, cookies or quiche!
Awesome foif !!
Love this place.
delicious freshly prepared dishes & desserts. truly enjoy this tucson gem and great staff. excellent customer service.
Not sure. Need to go back. Peeked in looking for freshly made loaves.
Food was delicious! Our server was helpful and funny. The patio was the perfect spot for breakfast this morning.
French style cafe restaurant that's dog friendly. Food was good, not the best french food I've had but pretty good and reasonably priced. Service was pretty fast and attentive. Our group showed up on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. Even with a reservation there was a wait (about 15 minutes). Worth checking out but we probably won't go out of our way to go there again.
Had crepes so good!
It took us way too long to get out food. They messed up my friends order and we didn't have time to wait for a new one so we left. They forgot part of my meal as well and I had to wait 5 minutes for my 2 eggs that came out cooked wrong! I'd say it was worth it but the food was average at best and I probably won't come back ever. I'd give it a 3/5 if they didn't mess anything up because like I said the food was good enough but the service and wait time weren't! Also why do you have to pay $2 for maple syrup if I'm buying French toast!?!? To be fair the coffee drinks we ordered were very good so that's a plus
Really great food and friendly staff. My son had French toast. It was huge and he loved it. I had biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were freshly made. It was SO good. I also had a lavender mimosa. Delish!!!
I have eaten breakfast/brunch here at least a dozen times over the past couple of years and the food and service is great every single time! I have taken my dog with me to eat on the patio which is also a good experience.
I haven't lived in Tucson in 6 years, yet still crave the garlic chicken. I live in Las Vegas now and still can't find a dish that makes me this incredibly warm, happy, and satisfied! I've even tried to recreate it, but just cannot get it right. If I ever get back to Tucson, you bet I'll be at Ghini's...I'll be the one ordering a double of that chicken and sauce!
Extensive menu of incredible cuisine! The serve staff is wonderful! Also, a delicious bakery is right in the restaurant.
Love this place great food. However the service is a little slow and inattentive.
Loved the food! However the service was lacking. Our waitress didn't come around much. we had to get her attention each time. Also my friend and I were seated and ordered first than the table next to us but they got their food first even though they were the same food dish as ours and we had ordered first
Just discovered this place. In a shopping center. Wonderful crusty bread just like in Europe. Food is delightful.. been there twice. Going back!
Nice little corner of France in tucson!
Interesting and delicious menu items. Great bakery inside the restaurant. 4+1/2 stars.
I liked their breakfast it is really deserve the time to eat in
The service is always poor. I won't be going back. I have given it a three chances.
Really good! Croque Madam was fabulous! Try the fresh lime aid.
Yum yum yum. Great atmosphere, including a dog-friendly patio with misters. The lavendar lemonade is soooooo delicious and refreshing! You can also get your set of reusable stainless steel straws at the register. Ghini's supports ending systemic domestic violence.
EDIT: owner is now saying that there’s brunch. Places I found the ALL DAY BRUNCH are right outside of their restaurant. But when I go in, they say there’s not all day brunch and that dinner starts at 3:00pm. Instead of ensuring that brunch was actually served all day, I get told I should have just stayed for dinner since I made the drive. This place has signs everywhere outside stating “ALL DAY BRUNCH” to include their website. Turns out you get there and they stop serving at 3:00pm. MAJOR FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Highly disappointed as I drove over an hour to try this place.
Spanish omelette with greens on the side, all mixed together, oooh. Baguettes with jelly. Good coffee. Dog friendly patio is nice, although ours are to bad to take
Wow! Wondering why I have waited so long to find this place. Yum yum, great French cuisine. Staff members are so kind and prices are reasonable. Definitely worth it. Will be back soon.
The cafe is very quaint and comfortable a nice place for friends to gather and catch up on old times. They have a wonderful cocktail selection I just wish that the menu was a little bit Larger. My appetizer was the breed with Apple and Carmel absolute fantastic
If I could rate a zero I would. Food is cold, wait is excessive, and staff is rude. This place is disappointing, I wonder how they have 26 years of service which I know they love to brag about
Every aspect of this little operation exceeds all expectations for an outstanding dining adventure. Chef Coralee makes it a practice to visit you at least once during your time at table. Service slow (a good sign---everything cooked to order), but efficient. Prices fair. Atmosphere funky but clean; misters on the patio; dancing in the street! Food excellent in every way (from temp to taste). Not to be mist (get it?)
Good services and good food. Very clean and nice to go to have a good time. Good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had brunch..and the prices are excellent too.
Food and service were average. Over price for what you get.
Walked in on a slow weekday and stood there while staff kept passing me by with my family .... then I asked a waiter and he snapped go sign the wait list . Then after sitting For a very long time .... The man said to a woman did you ever get a table three ? She Laughed and said no I will at some point? I thought of leaving but we were already seated . Finally she took the order we waited be at the food was served by someone else and she just never came back. Eggs were OK the crapes lackluster. I paid the same rude lady when I left at the cashier desk and then I walked out she never looked up her said a word just gave me back my slip . I would never go back !
Not impressed. A group of us had dinner here. How can 2 people order the same thing and the dish comes out of the kitchen looking completely different? Also 2 people ordered the same dish and they came out 10 minutes apart. So disappointed. Noone in our group was impressed and all stated they would not return.
Food was great service was great. The guy with the ponytail was rude while I was trying pay. Apparently me standing front of him while he ignored me was an incredible annoyance to him
Great meal! Attentive service.
Super busy little cafe with wonderful food. Love going here!
Nice quaint place with great food choices. Wait staff very accommodating . Dog friendly establishment
Good but not as exquisite as I recall from the 90s. I had the Greek omelette? Perhaps it was my selection.
Salad Nicoise was excellent. All the individual elements were well prepared and presented. Good waiter. Appreciate the GF menu! I think the patio could use a good pressure wash.
So delicious! Everywhere I looked people we savoring their food. This place has the best French bread in Tucson.
Great bakery and good food and coffee. But there was a big fly on my water and when I informed them about it, they were non-chalant and seemed very stoned face. The servers looked unhappy working there too. It’s too bad.
Delish food. Great service.
Food was great like it always is. Had the Italiano Omelette and a side of corned beef has al la carte
I only have breakfast and brunch here on weekends. Love the corned beef here and the coffee is good. One of my favorites breakfast spot in Tucson. They have outside seating and are dog friendly.
My food was great (eggs Provençal), but we waited almost an hour for food, which was all right except when it did come out, my husband’s corn beef hash with eggs didn’t have any eggs. The server was very apologetic, but said “we didn’t discuss eggs,” which I felt like was a little strange becsuee I would think something called corn beef hash with eggs would automatically come with eggs UNLESS someone asked for no eggs, which didn’t happen. The server was kind and offered to give us the eggs, but it’s been another 30+ minutes And the eggs still haven’t come out. She did end up telling us that the kitchen was backed up, but when I worked in a restaurant, if there was a mistake on the restaurants part, fixing that mistake took priority over other orders. I do love the quality of the food and the coffee is delicious. But I would highly suggest getting more kitchen staff (or whatever needs to happen to ensure people can eat more quickly) and priortizing resolving mistakes ASAP.
Cute, quite place, that serves delicious #Frenchfair. Place was full but we still h waa d room to move and talk at a decent level. Serves Breakfat and Lunch all day. The also have a great #Drink selection as well.
Ordered an egg-white omelette with mushrooms, spinach, and feta. Was very bland, and smelled like stinky fish. Overpriced. Order for two people, no alcohol, 2 coffees, $40. Ham & cheese crêpe was good, and bathroom was very nice. Would not come back.
A fantastic little cafe with great breakfast and attached bakery, superb happy hour with specials featuring mussels. Nice people.
I love this place. The food, the music, the service. And best of all they are local.
They serve the best coffee in all of Tucson, and they're super animal and human friendly. The staff is always nice no matter how crazy busy they are, and the food is always delicious.
I stumbled upon this location when out with the girls for lunch! We thoroughly enjoyed it! One brought her dog along and pets are welcome! Dogs get their own water and treats while there and that was a very pleasant surprise! We sampled each other's foods as we each had something different! One had the salad plate which was delicious! Another the daily special which was delicious also! I got the crepe filled with chicken and spinach and it was yummy! It's hard to find crepes around town other than and not to compare to the ones at one of a local breakfast chain! Ghini's was a real treat! The Staff so friendly and helpful and willing to make suggestions for any of their wonderful menu items! The prices were reasonable for the amount of food and service given! The pictures shown online are the restaurant! It is not something overly fancy but simply within a shopping area there by Safeway tucked away and unsuspecting! It is a restaurant that if someone didn't know was there could easily be missed but spread the word as it is well worth locating and eating their delicious foods! Enjoy!
Amazing brunch dishes....crepes, croissants! Friendly staff!
great food. they were also super accommodating and sweet and patient with our bridal shower party of 6.
Try traditional food. The staff was very helpful and had a wonderful meal. I will make this a must next time I want French.
Midtown locally owned and cozy place to meet friends for coffe, meals, beverages. I would say it borders on quaint and quite cafe like. Love it.
What a sweet surprise. Hidden little gym with so much to offer you from a great menu. Don't miss this one.
Food was great. Service was OK. Ask for the mousey girls section with the glasses. Not Kevin's. She was great and bubbly, only reason I even knew my servers name was because she greeted us and helped him get our drinks.
The kitchen is dirty, food is slow to get out and disgusting, looks old like the foods not fresh. Plates we're cold had to be re heated. There should be a choice for zero stars.
It's always good over there. The food is to die for.
The Pilgrim is one of Tucson's best sandwiches!
Patio and indoor dining are both pleasant. Very Euro cafe vibe with good food and friendly staff.
We have passed this place a million times and never thought much about stopping. After all, how good can a strip mall restaurant be? Well, the loss was ours because we finally decided to give it a try and found the food to be fantastic! I had the Ham & Swiss Crepes with hash browns and my husband had the Eggs Provencal. Both were excellent! Service was good, ambiance okay. There is an attached bakery with goods to die for. My only criticism was the presence of flies both in the dining room and even inside the bakery cabinets. Not a lot but enough to turn you off to purchasing one of the fancy baked goods when you see a fly landing on it. The prices for breakfast were a bit on the high side but the quality of the food made up for that.
Great atmosphere, staff super friendly, quick service and food delicious
Very good food. Not your standard cafe menu. Relaxed atmosphere. A bit noisey. Would recommend to others.
The service was a little slow but that's because they were under staffed so I get life happens. The food came out amazing and the atmosphere was killer! I visit this place when I can because I live 1.5 hours out of town. I recommend this place to everyone!
This is a wonderful restaurant to share a romantic brunch with your husband or to take your children for breakfast. They sell beautiful handmade jewelry that is beyond compare and their mimosas are to die for.
Ghini’s is such a delightful place with incredibly nice and attentive servers! We sat on the patio with our dog and they gave him water and treats and attention. Our meals were fantastic as well! Strongly recommend getting a croissant if possible, and the espresso drinks were also a delight.
Loved it if you haven't been you should go
very nice cafe with delicious food
Normally I love this place and I love the Pea and bacon salad except for today. I ordered my salad to go when I went to take a couple bites I noticed that the dressing was very pale and there was a lot more salad greens and there were peas and there was absolutely no bacon anywhere on the salad. I wish I had an appointment and couldn't take it back. I did call the restaurant and spoke to the manager who took my name and phone number and said I could have a meal free there the next time I go. I am disappointed. I got home and added some mustard to my salad, I would have added bacon but I didn't have any cooked and by now I'm starving and just wanted to eat.
Great stand by! Always good always delicious..... Had two gift certificates and my total did not use them all so she wrote my balance on the back and let me retain one. Even the one surly waiter has become happier over the last 6 months.
French food is my fave. However, it is limited in Tucson. What I like about Ghinis is that it is small, cozy and unpretentious. A great french breakfast with a champagne mimosa is a great way to start the day. There is a great French bakery colocated with Ghinis. Try the chocolate croissant with a nice hot coffee. This is where I can relax and treat myself.
Just finished having brunch and it was amazing. I read some of the other reviews and was a little apprehensive about giving it a shot but I’m so glad I did. Service was amazing. Diana was extremely helpful and attentive. Food isn’t pricey but not cheap either it’s priced fair for its quality and portion size. I left full and happy. We’ll definitely be back thank you!
Lovely cafe and bakery where the staff is always friendly and fun! Fresh and interesting food menu. An established favorite for locals.
Very good unique menu. Rate between four and five. Very good service.
Fave breakfast spot! Best biscuits and gravy.
Cozy restaurant with excellent food. Casual atmosphere and friendly staff.
Great French food.... this is one of the best places for a brunch
The food is always phenomenal! Simple, yet unique meals with great flavors. Best french cuisine I've had in Tucson!
There for lunch. Service was fine. Food quite tasty. Didn't have enough of an experince to go 5 stars but I do plan to go back fir dinner and am open to updating my comments!
I've never had a bad experience here. The food is always out of this world and the staff is so friendly and accommodating! Our favorite brunch spot!
Had some time to kill so stopped in for some brunch. Ended up having breakfast. Two thick pieces of French toast with eggs and sausage. The food looked and tasted good. I then grabbed a Napoleon from the bakery. I'd never had one before, but it looked so good. The Napoleon was fine, though not as good as it looked - or maybe it was perfect and I'm just not a big fan of them. The service was very quick, which was a little odd considering I was trying to kill time, and, despite how quick the service was, nobody seemed to be rushing. I think the service would be quick even if the restaurant were full. The only drawback would be price, particularly in the bakery. I'm not sure how much French pastries cost elsewhere (or even where to get them), but things like danishes and cookies were more expensive than I've seen elsewhere.
You will not be disappointed! A great place for lunch free of French fries. Sides include greens and sliced oranges. A little pricey but worth it.
Just had the breakfast on a busy day. Enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable.
Absolutely delicious! Service is fast and the staff is amazing!!!
Hell yes I give Ghini's 5 stars
Corned beef hash is the best in town!
Saw this place in the Tucson Foodie, and had to try it out. Honestly not too impressed. I understand that the food is locally sourced, but charging $11 for eggs, 2 tomato slices, and bread, is a little much. That was their specialty to boot. Small portions, for both my husband and I. ( He got some creaps with about 3 TBS of hash browns) Great coffee although we love Arbuckles anyway. 3 stars for the friendly staff. It's kind of strange the way that they have you "sign in". If you're a newbie it's pretty confusing, and you feel like you're being ignored. We both left hungry after paying almost $40 for a few bites of breakfast. Over all, would not return.
Cute cafe with good food and a nice outdoors area. Staff was courteous and professional. Prices are a little steep, but to be expected for the quality of food and service.
Very busy lively Sunday Brunch. Sauce could use a bit more flavor though.
My girlfriend really wanted to try this place, so I obliged, however took forever to get are our order taken then the food came our not even warm and undercooked as well as soggy. They offered to remake our food but after a couple minuets I didnt want to stay for the food but my girlfriend insisted. When the replacement food came back remade it was alot better however I had lost my taste for it. They then comped our ice teas and a side of bread, which I thought was almost laughable given the fact that we had been there over an and hour and just barely got our food..
The food here is so amazing, but a little greasy. But everything is great, I would love to come back and try the grilled cheese.
Food was good but service was slow. I was there on a busy week end morning.
Best French Macarons I have ever had!!
Delicious little hideaway. The staff is a hit or a miss but the food is always a plus.
Went there today for brunch and was very disappointed. The food was awful and way overpriced. Plus the place was dirty. Lots of flies.
Absolutely great food. Best pastries
Fantastic breakfast foods. Thoughly enjoyed the atmosphere too.
Love the food here.
The pear Normandy is to die for! I get it for any occasion.
Huge wait. Busy indifferent staff. Just average food. Over priced. Sat outside and people smoking walked past stinking up the patio.
Very disappointed.... it's a french café and the omlette was forgettable! I had much better omlettes at Denny's. The only thing I really enjoyed was the to go pastries and Bread loaf!
Wonderful food and service! The seating outside was very pleasant.
Good food, fair prices, service was very slow
Awesome food awesome service
The waitress was so rude. I didn't see a name tag but She had very short brown hair and looked about late 40's to 50. She appeared very bothered & like she hated her job when I asked about the menu. Then she yelled to other staff I thought the soup was too salty and said I wanted to take it off the price when I absolutely did NOT request ANYTHING. She made a fool of herself when she yelled with other patrons looking at her. I know I will NEVER eat there again.
Great food and delicious pastry. First time.
An authentic French flair makes this place a can't miss destination, particularly for brunch. The wait can be a little long on the weekends. The French toast is impossible to deny, croque monsieur divine. The staff was very helpful, keeping drinks topped off and offering their thoughts and favorites. The best part was for a party of seven, the bill was very manageable. Can't wait to go back!
The food is really good. I went there for breakfast when I was staying with my sister. The only odd thing about this place is that you’ll feel like you’re on Kitchen Nightmares because the staff is all fighting which made it unpleasant when everything felt fine... but I’d come back for the food. Just stop fighting!!
Lovely cafe with outdoor seating and lots of French food selections...yummmm
Enjoyable, for sure. And an amazing bakery
