Had a wonderful dinner at Ella's. Pork chop was delicious, cooked perfectly and the glaze was very good. Puréed vegetables and green beans were also delicious. Even the wine was good! Service was great - waiter was very pleasant, very attentive. My friend had the scallops, she loved them. Nice to have a non-chain, more upscale restaurant nearby. Definitely would go back!

Country French atmosphere and the food was delicious. The lunch menu offered variety and a chance to try some French offerings. Service is not quick, more suited to leisurely eating. Definitely not fast food! But it is worth waiting for.

This is the kind of restaurant where you feel like they care about you and your experience instead of just getting you in and out. The food was amazing for the price! Fantastic ambiance. Very clean. We talked to the owner for a minute--awesome person! He was eager to make whatever we wanted, even if it wasn't on the menu. Unlike any other dining experience I've had. In a great way! Oh, and if it isn't TMI the bathroom smelled like peaches and cream!

Some rough patches that can to worked at to give a great experience. The hostess was very amiable and it's nice to see the restaurant fully open (with the signage fixed so everyone knows). I ordered the french onion soup and the chicken chasseur. As I had set out for the night to specifically find classic french onion soup I was very disappointed by what was served to me. The french onion they serve here is a puree style with a thick paste instead of beef broth as a base. It tasted fine, but with the expectation of a classic recipe and no information on the menu or from the server otherwise put a sour note to the evening. On top of this the server was absent most of the time. The chicken chasseur helped balance it out being amazing tender, delicious and so flavorful. With some improvement training with the staff and a focus on ensuring the customers get what they expect this could be a fantastic place for when French food strikes your fancy.

Everything we ordered was divine- the salmon, the lamb, and especially the french onion soup. The atmosphere was everything we hoped and the owner personally took wonderful care of us! We will certainly be back soon!

I love French food and I was impressed by the quality and the affordability of this new restaurant- the best French food for sure in west valley. Worth the drive even if you don’t live in the area. We started with the Salmon Bruschetta. It was the perfect starter. Unique flavors and fresh tasting. We then we had the shrimp bisque and beet salad. I have been craving that bisque since we left. Definitely made me mouth happy. For our main entrees we had the prime rib and the grilled salmon. I can say without hesitation that it was the best prime rib I have ever had! The grilled salmon was also delicious. For dessert we had the baked ginger pear. This was an exceptional desert...so good. I hope this new restaurant is successful because I hope to go back again and again! New favorite.

Went to Ella's Cuisine for dinner. I saw the place being remodeled last year and was glad to see it finally open. Food and service were excellent. Owner was great with my child, and even offered her a free ice cream. Believe it or not, but her freshly made mac n' cheese was really good (not kraft). They offer "value" menu options with a beer and food. I opted for the ratatouille; it was a lot of food. My only comment about the place is that the prices are a little high; if prices were lowered a little bit I think more people would opt to dine here. It's nice to see nicer restaurants come into the Dobson Ranch area!

We just had my nephews wedding brunch at Ella’s cuisine. The food was fabulous and the service was very attentive. The windows let in a lot of beautiful light. I would recommend Ella’s to anyone. Veran was kind as always. My brother met Veran in Belgium years ago and he has always been so kind and supportive of our family.

The food was not good and overpriced. But the owner (I'm presuming?) And the staff were very nice! I almost feel bad giving a less positive review, but unfortunately the food was just not deserving of a good review, and the prices did not reflect that. The atmosphere was nice though!

excellent service and the food was great. I had the chicken and my husband got the salmon brusheta. Meals come with wine or beer and good quality. Our waiters and owner made us feel welcome. We definitely are coming back!!

We have been lacking in fine dining options in our Dobson Ranch area so Ella's Restaurant is a wonderful new place for us to enjoy. It is elegant with fine service. The salmon bruschetta was exceptional as is the salmon entree. Salmon is so often overcooked but this chef prepares it to delicate perfection. I look forward to trying many other things on the menu. My friend and I went for happy hour and enoyed a good French wine and bruschetta while we caught up with each other's busy lives! We hope Ella's is here to stay!

Got my haircut nearby and the workers said they went there and all of them got food poisoning. All,of them ordered different things. Look, if you are a new restaurant you better get it right while building clientele. And certainly don’t poison the hairstylists who talk all day.

We live nearby, and hadn't stopped in to check out this new place till now. What a great date night! The food is excellent, the service is fantastic (Arturo is the best), and we will be back to try the Impossible Burger for lunch sometime. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

The restaurant is beautiful. The decor reminds me of my trip to Paris. I was there at dinner with a friend. The owner/chef came to our table and discuss his new restaurant with us. The waitess was very nice and helpful. I ordered the Honey glazed pork chop and it was wonderful. My friend had the scallops. This is now our new favorite place.

We took my mom here who was visiting from out of town and it was superb. The owner and chef came out and his sister who was visiting from Belgium, made us complimentary Gespatcho. My mom had a conversation with her in French and I got to use some of my French too. The food was delicious. It was a lot like when we visited places in France together. Just a wonderful, relaxed dinner with friendly owners, great service, and exquisite food. We will definitely be back again!

The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere about it. The French music that played in the background was loud enough to hear but you can still enjoy having a conversation. The staff are so friendly and are professional people. One never had to ask for refills. Every course was timed perfectly. The food was absolutely delicious! My wife and I had the scallops which were cooked to perfection and we know scallops! We met the chef/ owner who was very charming. You will definitely enjoy the culinary experience here and we highly recommend this place for fine Fresh French cuisine!!

My husband and I tried Ella’s tonight after driving by and seeing the sign open. It was pretty empty so we were kinda worried at first. Let me feel you, we had NO reason for concern. Our server was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. She had great recommendations on the menu. The owner was there tonight and he let me sample the one and made recommendations until we found one that was just right for me this evening. He was very friendly and helpful throughout our meal. My scallops and risotto were cooked beautifully. They have a flame grill and my husbands filet was delicious and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend and we will be back.

Went here for lunch on a whim and found a hair in my salad. It was comped but did not make for a good experience. Food took very long to come out despite not being busy. Overpriced for the quality of food especially the lunch menu being mostly basic sandwiches? The French onion soup was strangely very thick. Very disappointing!

Amazing service and delicious food. My favorite was the salad...the made from scratch crutons and dressing made it perfect. Hubby loved the salmon. Perfect date night. Update 2/10 We have been back for lunch and another date night and still amazing food with amazing service. Never disappointed in anything we order. Everything is cooked and seasoned perfectly. Wish I got a picture of the pork chop dinner. So yummy!! And the picture of the wings is after we ate a few. Can't wait to go back again.

We've been looking for a French restaurant in our area, and boy our prayers have been answered! Ella's has a beautifully calm atmosphere, down to cloth tablecloths and napkins - yes, even at lunch! The service was wonderful, and the owner Vanir stopped by and chatted with us while checking on our meal. My husband's French onion soup and my lentil soup were wonderful. His Croque Monsieur and my Grilled Chicken were fabulous! As a treat my husband ordered me a creme brûlée (my fave) and it was light and creamy. Looked over the dinner menu while we were there, because we are definitely coming back!

WONDERFUL! My husband and I went in for our anniversary. We had the salmon bruschetta, lamb ribs, scallops, and creme brûlée. The service was excellent as was the food. Highly recommend!! The owner wears many hats and is also the chef so come with intention to relax and enjoy.

Where do I start? There was only 2 others in the restaurant and the service was so slow! We found a hair in our food and showed the waitress and she just grabbed the parsley off the plate and started to shred it saying it wasn't a hair it was a shred of parsley. Definitely wasn't! Then the veggies were way over cooked and mushy as well as the chicken there were some pieces you couldn't cut with the knife. Not worth the price.

I live close by and came in this past weekend to try it out. To start off, the owner Veeren is a great host and very humble. He makes sure you are very comfortable and wants you to have a great experience. His main goal is that you enjoy the food. This place is amazing, the French onion soup is made European style or the correct way... It is creamy and the onions are pureed which gives this soup incredible flavor. The shrimp bisque was great. The salmon bruschetta is crazy good, the sauce is a WOW. The salmon and scallop main entree were cooked to perfection. If you are a hard liquor/cocktail drinker, ask the owner for a "Beautiful Al" ... He will know what it is. Let me know if you like it. By the time I left Ella's...I can say i consider Veeren a friend. This a must try restaurant. Got try it yourself, everyone's palette is different... But mine told me that this place is amazing. Took a good friend to lunch yesterday to celebrate her birthday. I had the French onion soup ( it is to die for) and the grilled chicken sandwich. It was also very good. She had the grilled ham and cheese with sweet potato fries. She also commented her food was very good. Dessert was exceptional, warm pear with vanilla ice cream and drizzle of carmel. Yum! Great service, location and atmosphere. Will be coming back with hubby for dinner.
