Very tasty and wholesome food. Best place for South Indian items like Dosa, Vada, Hot Pongal, Etc. We went on a Sunday evening and it was busy. There was a wait time as there were only two people running the table service. The food was worth it though. The waiter was nice and served with a smile. It was a nice experience overall. Would suggest some training to ensure more regimented service. Like the waiter did not get us water until after we got the food. Definitely going back though as the cook has great understanding of Indian home cooking.

Excellent and cooperative staff, amazing food, can’t wait to a few more visits. The picture is for Ghee-Rawa dosa which I tried last time. Also tried Somosa Chat and Idli-Wada sambhar in prior visits so everything is perfect here. Kudos to the staff and owner for such a great management.

This place is a must visit for dosa lovers. It is totally vegetarian (Indian style) and the service is fast. The rates are not too high considering the quality and the taste of the food. Wish I had taken the pictures of the food I ordered but I was too busy eating it

This weekend was the first time I have eaten at Dosa and I was pleasantly surprised as I love the meats! My wife is gluten free and there was plenty of options for her to choose from. The waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu as we have never eaten Indian food before. He provided some great recommendations and each plate had great flavor. We will definitely be coming back soon!

Our server was excellent very nice service..I was very happy with everything till the time we paid I left a tip for the young men on the table but the owner grabb it and he said I will give it to him.And I waited and we paid our bill he never give to him I saw him put it in the side I was so mad because I know how much this kids get paid,my son it's a server and I always tip very well .The ruin my dinner and my whole experience...I don't care how good the food was I will not comeback for the reason!!..

Really great food. Many vegetarian options. Staff are very nice and helped to choose the right amount of spiciness. Malai Kofta was a little dry but the sauce was terrific. Also had the onion pakora and chilli paneer. Not at all busy at 7 in a Saturday, started to fill at 8 - 8:30. Highly recommended. Will visit again.

Even though they were a little short staffed on the night we went, the staff couldn't have been nicer. They worked hard to take care of all the tables. Most importantly, the food is amazing. Definitely some of the best dosa we've ever had. We will be bringing our friends and family back.

This place serves best Dosa in Phoenix area. We're a group of 6 and tried lots of different dosas (they have BOGO Dosa offer on Tuesdays) - all of those tasted amazing. Dosas were big in size and fully stuffed inside. There was a 20-25 minutes wait for the dosas, but we're told so while ordering and we enjoyed some appetizers which were good as well. Only thing they may improve is the sambar, it tasted a little bit bland. Overall, this is our new favorite Dosa place and we'll be back soon to try other items (or may be for more Dosas :)).

Our first visit to Dosa Grill and it was absolutely fantastic. Decor was open and inviting and the food was fresh & to some extent , reminded us some of the street food we used to get back in India. Service was warm and welcoming and we will return for sure - hoping they continue the quality of food in coming months/years.

Was craving for Dosa.. so tried this restaurant and not bad for the price. Menu has lot of options and food tastes good. Only down side was coconut chutney which was watery instead of thick.

Very fresh and clean food. I was surprised by the quality. I didn't know most of the vocabulary on the menu but the jalapeno appetizer was great as well as the curry. The dosa was maybe a little too weird for me but I could tell it was made with love. Minus one star cause the waiters brought other tables order to my table by accident and then gave me some other tables bill as well. Good, healthy food though.

My husband and I tried Dosa Grill for the first time last night. Wonderful! Worth going for the Dosa pancake alone. I highly recommend it. Also loved the chutneys, the paneer masala, the raita, the mango and the strawberry lassi, etc. The place is also very clean and stylish. A pleasant mix of modern and traditional decor.

Excellent food, very tasty Indian cuisine. Must try for any vegan or vegetarian looking for Indian food. Ideally located, affordable in the heart of the city. Food was served timely, staff and owner were very courteous and friendly. Highly recommend this place. We had vegetable biryani, chilli paneer, spinach pakora, chole batura, curd vada, rasa malai, mango lassi and rava masala dosa. Finally, we are getting to see good Indian restaurants in Phoenix. Just ate here for the first time. The staff was very helpful in choosing vegan options. He explained which meals could easily be converted to vegan and which ones to stay away from. My meal was absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. This will be a frequent stop for myself and my picky 8 year old.

Had been here 2 times now and food taste has been good, consistent and sumptuous. Dosas are very good and I loved the Sambar and peanut chutney sides. Today tried Malai kofta and pulka and they were excellent too!! Both times we have had the Dosa Grill combo thali and loved it. There is scope to improve on the vada but the rest were good in the thali.

Ordered 3 items and the taste review for them is as follows Chilly paneer - it had little crunch and the taste was good. Dosa - Dosa was crispy and they gave 3 chutneys which were good but the sambhar tasted bad Chole bhature - It was good in taste

This place has the best dosas in the valley! (I thought Woodland was the best.) The sambar is spicy and I love having the option of coconut and peanut chutney. Samosa chaat, chai and gobhi manchurian were also exquisite... and Ive spent a lot of time in india so i know what good indian food is!!!

I was so surprised I had not heard about this place before. We got the samosas, Malai Kofta, and Palak Paneer along with garlic naan. All so good, definitely have left overs as well. Great price for all of that food. Happy to have such a good Indian food restaurant on the west side!

I have ordered Thali and Veg Biryani.. Thali is of very limited quantities and of mediocre taste. Veg Biryani is with out veggies and just very spicy beyond the usual high spice levels.. There are a few items that were good, but will definitely avoid these two next time.
