A lot of fun! Good drinks and plenty of space for everyone to hangout! Love the slide and lake water compared to pools, feels cleaner. Also, plenty of bathrooms! The staff is nice and good service.

Dillon's Bayou on the pier at Pleasant Lake is a great place to have lunch or dinner if you're at the lake. The place specializes in pulled pork, brisket and lots of other BBQ dishes. They also have an ample selection of bottled and craft beers on tap from both local and out of state breweries. For non members, the parking is off site and a 5 person golf cart shuttles you to the site of the restaurant at no charge. Access to the state park area is $6 per carload. Our group of four had a great outing at this restaurant.

Something happened to our food order, parties were being served their food even though they were seated long after us. We didn't complain because it was very hot outside and we weren't in a rush. Management came and apologized for the extra wait time and compensated us with three desserts. My grandsons had all the chocolate cake and ice cream fudge that they could handle. Ice cold kilt lifter made up for it as well.

Trashy and bad Camp and boat there all the time. 3 times we've gone and gone back to give it another chance. Food is always horrible. Sometimes cold, always bad.... Blt, bad. burnt ends looked like meatloaf and tasted bad. French fries and nachos cold and bad. Scorpion Bay always good and on point. And not "trashy" atmosphere either.

The food is yummy and hits the spot in a super fun atmosphere. Plenty of entertainment for the kiddos and adults, too with games and live music. It’s a bummer you have to pay Pleasant Harbor to get here, and there was not a kids breakfast menu. The servers are friendly and helpful.

This is definitely a step up from their old restaurant at Lake Pleasant. We drove there from Surprise because the couple we went with his never been to Lake Pleasant. So it was worth the $7 per car entry to the park. This must be paid even if you're just going there for lunch. The food was fine, but nothing special. The prices were high because of its location; which was to be expected. The atmosphere is sports bar rustic. They have a stage for a band and a dance floor. They have more TVs that I could count playing sports. The staff was very friendly and our food arrived quickly. If I was staying at the lake or just out on the boat for the day I probably would go back. I doubt we will make the trip from Surprise again just to eat lunch there.

This was our second time eating lunch at this location on Lake Pleasant and probably our last. The food tastes OK, but for the price, the portions are sparse. The potato salad was bland and the cat fish fillets, although tasty were extremely thin. The Caesar salad also tasted good, but what you see is what you get. No crackers or bread choice, just salad. I can think of much better ways to spend my money for lunch. Also, there are coupons available in local advertising, but the last coupon we saw before going was expired in August with a September delivery.

What a fun place to eat. The decor was awesome as was the view. The food was fantastic. Our party ordered brisket it was a little dry. The pulled pork, that was good, a sausage that was fantastic!! And a Angus hamburger that was superb. The coleslaw was good and the fries were cooked to perfection, not over or undercooked. Will definitely be back.

Its a bit of a chore to get down to the resturant. You have to pay to enter the park the take a shuttle. If your in any time crunch at all don't go. Other than that it is pretty cool and food was good. I prefer the location by the zoo. Better food in my opinion

Was excited to eat ribs or steak but they don't serve that here like the other location I have been to. Also I had to pay $6 just to enter to come and eat here. The view is great I guess. Also we took a golf cart to and from the restaurant to the parking lot. I checked in on yelp to get free onion rings but I also had a Groupon and they said I can only do one of them not both. The onion rings were okay. The wings were spicy and a bit cold. The grilled chicken sandwich it was a bit dry needed some mayo or ranch. The country fried chicken platter wasn't that great, it was also huge portion.

Went to Lake Pleasant local. Sat outside. I realize birds are going to do they're business throughout the day, but before someone is seated things should be wiped down. This is 3rd time we've eaten here. It's okay, it just seems food could be more... Just kinda bland for barbecue. Service is just kinda too relaxed. Definitely not expecting fine dining but it seems lacking something. Fun though but of the lake scene.

We’ve been here before the food is pretty good and the drinks are decent. The views make it worth it. However, don’t go if you have a time constraint or are very hungry. We waited 2 hours and 5 tables were still ahead of us. The hostess had “absolutely no idea” about how much longer it would be so we left. It’s disappointing to drive 30 minutes and pay $6 to get in the gate for nothing.

Beware dining at Dillon's. The sea maids have been spotted flipping and flopping around on the docks. These are no mermaids. These half women half fish can shoot lasers from their eyes. Make sure you bring a mirror so you can reflect their lasers back. That is the only way to protect yourself.

I loved this place! I went there on a Saturday night and the music was incredible. The burger was great too. I ordered it "protein style" so it was like a large lettuce wrap. Yummy! The beer selection was also great. I had this peach beer that was devine! It was also decorated very interestingly with pirates hanging from the ceiling. Super cool vibe here!

-Came here last year and the drinks weren't made right the first time. -Came back this weekend I arrived as Saturday lunch rush customers were cashing out, so the restaurant was slowing down. Ordered a margarita today which looked like sprite when it arrived at the table. I asked the bartender if she could make a new one and she said Contreau isn't an ingredient, even though it's listed on the menu - soda water is not but was added anyway. -Waitresses were inattentive. -Brisket is a bit dry (glad I didn't get the turkey) and comes with sauce on the side. Sauce tasted more vinegar than BBQ.

We have lived near and been regular customers at the West Thunderbird Dillons for several years and most always had good experiences and good food. Recently a group of nine of our family members went to the Lake Pleasant location for a birthday dinner, over half of our group's food arrived at the table cold or room temperature, three at the table ordered the burnt ends brisket and commented they were nothing like they've been in the past, just cold fatty chunks of meat with sauce. Our sever was very good and tried to accommodate all our request in a very hectic situation. We had a $200 visa gift card we wanted to use to pay for a portion of the food and drink and the server could not get it to work, we later learned from another establishment the card was fine but needed to be run as a credit card. All in all not a good experience. At this location I think Dillons would be well served to stick with grill and bar food items.

This place has a great atmosphere with an eclectic variety of cool decor. The food was great. I had the chilaquiles and their green Chile sauce was awesome. It was spicy but not overwhelming. My recommendation would be to try them with pork as I just had them plain. I've tried their bacon as well and it's very good and crispy. Their French toast looked amazing. Of course you can't go wrong with their barbeque either. I would like to eat my way through the entire menu. The servers here are wonderful also. Very attentive and on their game. You'll enjoy a beautiful view as well.

Some of the best BBQ I have had, you can sit out side right in the water. They have a big slide you can pay to go on, kind of expensive, the staff was nice and they are dog friendly on the patio outside. Food was amazing drinks were great. For the quality or the room and drinks it was not that expensive. I will definitely be going back.

We love Dillon's on Thunderbird and had never been out to Lake Pleasant Dillon's. LOVE them both. Two totally different atmospheres. Can't wait to take guests out to the lake and to dinner. Great wait staff and fantastic barbeque! Had the shredded pork plate and a bbq brisket sandwich & of course their delicious turtle cheesecake.

What a great place. Big and open with lots of seating. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun and laid back. The food was great and prices were reasonable. This location is a lot different than the other Dillion’s restaurants. It fits the beach/lake setting perfectly. Good place for kids as well.

I rate this restaurant and experience a one and will continue to raid it as a 1 simply for the fact that it is At/m arena a public Marina they charge $6 for parking and when you go in to the restaurant which you have to be bused by golf carts in the hot Sun you cannot even get a voucher for a parking therefore a nice lunch Adam arena is out of the question in less you're willing to pay $6 for parking the least they can do is have thou lay parking if they're going to charge you money that's ridiculous I would not recommend anyone to go there and absolutely not recommend for any Time during the summer months

Burger patty was a bit dry and when they say protein style (no bun, lettuce wrap) it comes on the plate open faced. I had the Bleu Cheese burger which only had the Bleu Cheese crumbles and no other things like mayo or mustard on it The lettuce leaves were too small to make it possible to pick up as a burger so I had to cut it all up and eat it like a salad.

Great spot for breakfast on the lake, especially during the cool mornings. Salsa was fantastic and the beans that came with the breakfast plate of eggs, machaca and tortillas truly made the dish a next level breakfast choice. Make the drive, its worth the eats and view.

Dillon's is a bar and grill that floats on Lake Pleasant. It's connected to the marina, and there are shuttles that will pick you up at a shuttle station or, if your paying for a campsite, directly at your camper. Shuttles run every few minutes and will take you back to the shuttle station or your camper too. Feel free to get hammered without having to drive. The food was tasty. I got the Carolina BBQ sandwich and my wife got the brisket sandwich. Both were good enough to make us want to go back and eat there again. Drinks are drinks. We got those to. And it was fine. The live music was very good. I don't know what range of genres they have there, but it seems like they try to have quality bands. Last night was a country band led by former pro wrestler and bull rider Hollywood Yates. All cover songs, but well done. 4 stars in all. Only price and access keeps Dillon's from five stars. Dinner for two, two drinks apeice and tip ran us almost 90$. If you want to visit Dillon's, then you've also got to pay the small fee to enter Pleasant Harbor Park and it's best to also get a campsite, another fee that varies with what sort of site you want.

This place is getting ridiculous, apparently they know they have the market cornered here and their service is slipping terribly. We had planned a nice day on our boat on the lake but ended up spending almost three hours here just waiting for drinks and our food. Our order came out wrong and even after multiple attempts to get the correct food it never showed up. We even asked for a manager who also didn't bother to come and speak to us. Completely wasted our day just trying to have a drink and lunch. Dillon's if this is how all of your restaurants operate it's no wonder you are closing one down. The only places that could stay open like this are the exclusive ones like the lake and the zoo. It's obvious why your other local location couldn't manage to stay open if your service is always this atrocious. We have decided moving forward that we will be either taking our food out on the boat with us or going to Scorpion Bay across the water from now on. It stinks because this could be a really awesome place to hang out, if we could ever get served.

Great bar restaurant on pleasant lake, we camped and boated last summer quite a few times and plan on being there again this year, food good (burgers, salads , barbecue). They have a crazy water slide that you can watch people fly down, live music. Nice to take a break while camping and spending the day on the water.
