I was disappointed in this place! I went for a birthday lunch with my 15yr old son and his friend and a few family members. First the place was totally empty for a Saturday afternoon, went about 2pm. Then the basketball court is the size of my closet with a hoop in it lights and a high ceiling. We all had the Clyde burger....it was just ok. My waiter however was the best! Sorry I don't remember his name but he was super cool! He saw we was disappointed and tried his best to help out anyway he could. Over all I won't be going back, don't see a reason to.

Very good food and cocktails. Had the skirt steak chipotle sandwich and it was amazing. My colleagues had scallops and wings and the same sandwich and all had the same opinion. Highly recommend the tequila based mule from the bar.

Food was delicious. We did not have a reservation so we had to sit at the bar area. Bartender took a while to come over and take our order but once he did everything came out on a timely manner and it was very good. Will definitely return.. with a reservation.

Again, as the limousine driver, I took a group down to Clyde’s in NYC. Again, parking a limousine in NYC appears to a hassle, but I found a quiet neighborhood just a couple blocks from Clyde’s Wine and Dine location after dropping off the group. Picking up was a bit more problematic given the one way venue on the cross town streets. Unfortunately, I did not get to go in, but the clients said it was all they expected it to be for a basketball fanatics dream!!! At least they were able to enjoy themselves for a nice luncheon!!!

Went here for a birthday party and it was a decent experience overall. The food is ok but overpriced but that's what you pay for at the area. Service was pretty good and fast. The place overall is a odd 'up class food but dress down' type of place since the servers were wearing street clothes while serving plates with a mixed crowd. Also it seems that despite on a Saturday night, there is always a few empty tables available but a crowd here and there, mostly for the basketball court inside. Honestly I won't come back just because there is nothing here that would want me to return, the food and ambiance just does nothing special here compare to other places nearby.

Great place food was amazing. We ordered and recieved our food in less than 20 minutes. The only problem I seen was the bartender was by himself and the Happy hour was goin on he needed help. People waiting for drinks too long other people tryinto pay there tab. Other than that the place is a A+. I Will be going back fior sure.

Met some friends here for an early lunch. We arrived when the place was not crowded and we were seated immediately. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food arrived to our tables rather quickly and was pretty good. No complaints about the portion size. The place also had a great atmosphere. I would definitely eat here again.

Very good not great. Clyde's is a big, spacious, clean and kid friendly sports bar with a huge menu and attentive service. But aside from the space, it's nothing special. Sports bar cocktails are never good, and these aren't. I have found better burgers and wings at some of the very fine Irish pubs on the opposite (east) side of the island. I suppose if you needed a sports bar near the Javits Center and Hudson Yards, this is an option. But if you don't mind a mild walk, Landmark Tavern is just a little north. It has higher quality food, a ton of history, and it's a more memorable experience. A lot of old bars have disappeared from the west side. Be a good New Yorker and support the ones that are left. But if you're with kids, go here. They will dig the space and the little basketball court. That is cool.

My family and I LOVE Clyde Frazier's. My birthday is in April and every year, we make a pilgrimage to the New York Auto Show ( just blocks away), followed by my birthday dinner there. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is superb. If you are in the area, I highly recommend. I have great memories there and I'll be headed there again in a few weeks.

Clyde's burger was just a piece of dry hamburger meat, bacon between dry bun. No lettuce, tomatoes, bacon. I had to ask for the mayo and mustard.. not worth the $15. My husband ordered the wings which was ok, but not worth the calorie.. too bad

Nice location and decor but the food and waitstaff were subpar. We had a party of 16+ and made reservations but they did not adequately provide service. Our waiter was working at least 5 other tables. Then after the meal starts they advise they cannot split any portion of the check which caused a fiasco at the end of the night. The food was bland and overpriced. $17 for some wings?!! Lol. That's more than $2 per wing. The front door staff were very pleasant

The look on the outside doesn't match the look on the inside. The outside is very unassuming to the point that if you didn't know where it is, you might drive right past it. The inside has a more upscale feel. Food and service was great. A bit pricey.

Food is very good. I ordered the lobster stuffed with crabmeat with spinach and mashed potatoes. My food was Seasoned well, not salty like most restaurants. The atmosphere is nice. Young, hip crowd. Very nice place to take a date. Prices are $$. Service was very good also. Our waitress was on the ball. I have been there several times and they never disappoint me. Always the same great food and service.

I loved the food!! I got the the steak, the staff was super sweet and checked up on us constantly to make sure are necessities were met. It was super busy so it wasn't as personable which I understand. The vibes of the restaurant were great. BUT the 4 star came because one of the staff approached up and I quote " was there something wrong with the service because what you tipped was concerning, and you know tips is how my staff makes there living and it's kinda expected to give roughly 18% tip, so I have to ask" I was quilted for not tipping as much as they would like. That is NOT professional. So I then said I will pay more if you would like she said no it's already processed. That was our last encounter and it left such a bad taste that I HAD to write a review. Tip good or you will be approached.

Me and my girlfriend visited this place before and had an excellent time March 23rd was the second time we were headed there and we're looking forward to visiting and eating some of the food we had but unfortunately someone was able to buy out the whole restaurant and have a party there we travel all the way from New Haven Connecticut to come visit and see Clyde Frazier's wonderful restaurant but didn't get a chance to maybe next time they won't let some rich guy buy out the whole restaurant so us regular people can enjoy it but overall it was a very nice please decor was very cool Clyde Frazier thumbs up

The food was pricey for the actual taste , the ambience is nice and modern but it can get pretty crowded and busy , the basketball court is smaller than expected and you only get 10 minutes but you can go again if there aren't alot of people and it's an overall good incorporation for a restaurant. Not enough poultry options . in summary it's a nice place to go grab a drink with the guys after work.

So my friends and I decided to have a surprise birthday dinner for one of our friends at Clyde's. The night was going well and the food was up to par. What essentially brought us a negative vibe for the night was that when it came time to serve the birthday cake that WE paid for , we were told that we would have to pay $2 for each slice the staff had to cut. Granted, I understand most restaurants don't allow outside food but I feel that in this case they should have made an exception being that we had a party of 11 who worked up and paid a $500 bill. Although my friend enjoyed himself I just feel that it was selfish of the restaurant and the restaurant's manager who made it her business to fight me on this matter. Not the worst scenario but I don't think I'll be planning another birthday dinner at Clyde's.

I was excited to visit Clyde Frazier's Resturant. I attended as a chaperone on a trip with my kids. The place has a beautiful ambiance to it. There was also a half basketball court located inside of the restaurant. My kids played at the basketball court as we waited for our food to arrive. Since it was a large group we had a set menu of items to choose from. I ordered the chicken fingers and fries. I wasn't pleased with my meal as my chicken fingers didn't have any seasoning on it, It was very bland. We had ice cream for dessert and I thought my vanilla ice cream would make up for the food. However the ice cream was very watery so I didn't eat it. I am going to revisit the restaurant again because maybe the chefs had an off day.

We came here on Saturday 9/7 after a convention at the Javits Center. I’ve tried coming here twice before specifically because the mozzarella stick tower that was all over the internet. Well we get there, get told to sit in the bar and we can eat there by a nasty hostess because they weren’t ready to seat people for dinner yet(they seat at 4) . Okay so we go to the bar, the table that was open had dirty dishes and glasses on it, no one came to clean them and every other table at the bar was being waited on except ours. So about 15 minutes go by at at 4 i asked the hostess if we could just get a table and i got told “I’ll come get you” okay so another few minutes go by and we get sat. Our waitress took our order and we never saw her again until we had to basically hunt her down, she didn’t tell us her name or ask how anything was and my mom had to go find her just to give her the money so we could leave. My aunt ordered a jack Daniels on the rocks and it came out looking like watered down apple juice because of all the ice in it and it must have been sitting on the bar for it to dilute that much. And the kicker, no mozzarella stick tower lol we got charged about $16 for 3 yes i said 3 mozzarella triangles lmao. And another 16 for about 5 “chicken fingers” that we’re the thinnest and tiniest things I’ve ever seen. Not worth the hype. Never going back.

This is such a cool place. They have two mini basketball courts that guests can use. Its a great location in the restaurant to take pictures especially if you have a large group. There was mixtureure of age groups there. One table there was a child party, at my table was an adult party and other table there was a celebration for a grandmother. There was even a engagement proposal and everyone in the restaurant cheered. The food was great. I would go back and eat at the bar how good the food was. The waiters were very polite and helpful. It's the place to be so expect to wait to be seated and for your drinks to come, which is why I gave a four. Go see yourself.

Worst experience ever! I wouldn't give it any stars, unfortunately I have to so they get a 1. Went with a group of people this past weekend (Saturday 9/08/2018). We went in and was imminently profiled because of the clothing we were wearing. We were attending a country concert in NYC Saturday night, so we dressed up for it. Walked in and was told we had an hour and thirty minutes to eat our food because they had reservations coming in. When we got there, there was only maybe 3 tables taken and no one came in after us. So the restaurant had plenty of room for any reservations that would come in behind us. We only saw our waitress maybe twice. Once was to take our order and another time to collect our bill. I have never been so disrespected at a restaurant in my life. I will not be going back to this place after how we were profiled by our clothing and was demanded to leave within a time frame. A professional restaurant would not give its paying customers a time of how long they are allowed to stay and have their food eaten by. I highly DO NOT recommend this restaurant if you're in NYC. Very disrespectful and very unprofessional to its customers.

The recommendation was given by a very friendly guide at Circle Line Pier. We walked from Pier. The hostess was very gracious. The food was O.K. The two young servers personalities was not a good representation of the establishment. Oh my, when we asked for the checks to be separated, you would have thought we asked them to pay. Food is very pricey but still a great occasional spot to go to. Went with my girl and the frozen margaritas were very good. You don't need two to get tipsy. The portions are pretty good though. You don't need to buy appetizers. Try the fajita it's amazing!

The recommendation was given by a very friendly guide at Circle Line Pier. We walked from Pier. The hostess was very gracious. The food was O.K. The two young servers personalities was not a good representation of the establishment. Oh my, when we asked for the checks to be separated, you would have thought we asked them to pay. Food is very pricey but still a great occasional spot to go to. Went with my girl and the frozen margaritas were very good. You don't need two to get tipsy. The portions are pretty good though. You don't need to buy appetizers. Try the fajita it's amazing!

We were lucky to find this spot for a 20+ group booking on a Friday night. Wait staff were very efficient and knowledgeable. Family style serving was recommended and worked out really great. Everyone served simultaneously and an option available that everyone would enjoy. The steak was excellent, I'm told and I enjoyed the seafood platter. They also have a great selection of wines. Not many dessert offerings but no room after a great dinner anyway.

Best food for a world class restaurant. Although Clyde is rarely there himself at his own place it’s great. I can’t believe how the food tastes so amazing. As for service and waiters I’m not really sure how theyr fare as I haven’t been there in a while. I’m sure they serve well. 5 stars just for the menu options alone

I was there for an event. It's an always bustling kind of place. There were multiple parties going on at the same time. It can accommodate the masses. The food is good. If you are looking for a nice quiet place, this is NOT it during sporting events. However, if you enjoy sports bars and noisy dining environments, then this is for you. So come on a night that is not a game night. There are so many TV screens! I can't event count them. The bartender, Edison makes a really delicious and mean Cosmo, so you should ask for that. But I have a feeling that EVERYTHING he makes is equally delicious.

I was invited to an awards ceremony. Over 200 people attended. The seafood appetizer and entrée were delicious. The drinks were top shelf and were refilled quickly. The restaurant is upscale. It is convenient to the Jacob Javits Center

Nice spot close to the convention center. Never really too busy so it's pretty common to find a table. Not an extensive or overly fancy menu but what they do they do very well. Have never been disappointed and will continue to come back.
