I love this place. I live locally and go often for the early bird huevos ranchero's deal. It's delicious and a huge portion. I end up taking it home for breakfast the next morning. This place is the real deal and service is always top notch. I've only ever gone for breakfast but they have a nice lunch and dinner menu too with a wide variety of options. Skip Coffee Pot's 101 Omelettes this place is wayyyyy better!!!!

Friendly staff and clean location. Stopped here for dinner. I am assuming they are more known for breakfast as they had several awards in the back wall. I had the Hawaiian sandwich it was ok I would have preferred it with a different type of bun. I wish I could give this place a higher rating I just wasn’t completely sold on the sandwich. My kiddo and niece had breakfast and they loved it.

Found this place on a Google search for a quick bite to eat. The smell of delicious food was waiting for us at the door. Upon looking around everyone looked to be enjoying themselves and their orders. We ordered sandwiches since we needed something lite but I was considering otherwise after seeing some of the beautiful dishes being delivered to tables around us. Our order was served fast and hot and the waitress was awesome when seeing to our needs and the others in her area. Great find, great place, great food.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. I got a little pig omelette with hash browns. The omelette had the meat cooked into the eggs, like a proper omelette should have. The eggs were able to soak in the flavour of the meats, and were delicious. I got a side of sausage gravy to smother the omelette and browns with, and there was bacon in the gravy! It might have been the best surprise I’ve ever experienced.

A little spicy for my white taste buds. Even the beans are spicy. This is a bean and cheese burrito from the kids menu and it is made with chorizo mixed in the beans. They did not say anything before ordering even though we asked about the spiciness on everything we ordered. They did take 15% off the bill, so that was nice. It is just too spicy for my family. I do t mind spicy and I thought it had a good flavor. Just be aware that it is more spicy than they say.

We were seated and drinks served. But no one came for our food order. Waited about 10 minutes and had to ask for someone to take our order. The food was good and came quickly thereafter and we had wait staff apologetically hovering around our table for the rest of our time. We were skeptical as the restaurant has both American and Mexican food but both varieties tasted good. The restaurant is well located with plenty of parking.

Service was amazing - everyone was so friendly and attentive - our coffee and water was never empty and it seemed like someone came to check on us every few minutes. Breakfast burritos were massive and delicious, I had mine with some really flavorful chorizo and perfectly ripe avocado (which is rare)! I loved that this seemed like a locals’ place and would definitely go back if I’m ever in the area.

These people have a really bad attitude. The food is ok but they love to go home early. They advertise that they close at 8 o’clock even on weekends and I often see them turn off the lights turn the sign at 7:30 and rudely shake their patrons away. Just a few minutes away there is a much better restaurant called Fiesta Mexicans. Way better w a decorative fun ambiance!

Good food. Hashbrowns were a bit under done. Wait was long and server was busy, but so was the place. Prices were fair. I thought I was getting the special on the window but was charged the basic plus price. I didnt argue. Just didnt want to hold things up. Great place with ample parking which in otself makes this place a better choice compared to others.

We stopped by for breakfast on Friday abt 11am. Good thing they serve breakfast all day. We returned on Sat for their Sedona burger. I really recommend. The patties are thick, home-made style, soft buns, fresh avocado,bacon & cheese. We had it with some nice melon slices instead of fries. It was perfect.

About 5 years ago this place was really great. Me and my husband would eat here all the time..but over time their quality and freshness has (sad to say) suffered. One time I got the tuna melt and the tuna tasted old. I tasted like it was made a long time ago..the bun wasnt toasted and it was soggy. And I am someone who never complains about food. You can mess up my order and I will still eat it but this tasted bad and it made my stomach hurt..my husbands enchaladas were not the same..they usually taste fresh but this time they tasted old and the flavors were not good. I thought maybe they were having an off day that day so we decided to give it another try a few months later..my mother in law got the burrito and it tasted like it was made a week ago then microwaved. And my sons chicken nuggets were xtra hard. Honestly I gave this place a 1 star because the high ratings it earned a long time ago are misleading

I love to go where I can hear and see the locals and this was a great place for that. Food was ok and the people were pretty friendly after getting waited on. The worst part was we waited for at least 15 minutes before anyone came to the table to wait on us. All the tables were full in the main dining area but there was 2 other areas that weren’t even partially full so not sure if we were just overlooked or had a slow waitress. Once she took our order (and I ordered fish that normally takes longer) it wasn’t that long. Fish was ok but hubby didn’t care for his meatloaf at all. Will probably not go back.

Cafe Jose is the best restaurant we have eaten at in Sedona and that is saying something! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, and the service is the best! I knew it would be a great meal when I heard the kitchen staff singing as they prepared our meals. They even posed for a photo with us at my request. The cost to value is top notch as well. A Huge Prime Rib for $19.99! Amazing! We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Food is ok. French Toast was sandwich bread and came out looking flat. Coffee is too strong even with lots of cream and sugar. Won’t be coming back! Go to PePe’s in Cottonwood if you want amazing breakfast!!! Then you should inform a person before they order about your bread situation. Thank you for The very unapologetic response. This is why I stopped coming months ago but I thought we would give it another try! So sad to see nothing has changed for the better!

Very delicious breakfast! We had the spinach & feta omelette, sweet potato pancakes, and the chicken fried steak. Forgot to take pictures because we wolfed it down! It is very busy on weekends so prepare for a wait, but it's worth it.
