Outdoor space is nice. Misters work very well to make it comfortable. Went for lunch on a Wednesday and it was crowded. Ordered a skillet that was cooked very well and tasty. Gravy would have really taken it up a notch. Came with a side of pancakes that were very good. Might be a little pricey for a frequent trip but worth it on special occasions.

To cold inside so food cooled off long before finished. Had a specialty coffee that was way to sweet; asked for regular coffee to put in and they said they would have to charge me extra. Doesn't seem quite right since I paid extra and you can get unlimited refills for regular coffee.

Very poor service. Restaurant was empty and they intentionally kept about 20 customers waiting for over 10 min to be seated. I asked why they were making people wait if the restaurant was empty. They told me to go somewhere else. So I did.

Fantastic! Really enjoyed this meal and restaurant. Real shell eggs, blended so that are super fluffy when making scrambles and omelets. Very nice fresh fruit blend. Service was vei nice. Pancakes were also pretty good. Only disappointment fowame was the fact that they only had one syrup choice ... maple. You could have pure maple for$2 more. Nice outdoor seating area.

The service here is always phenomenal. My wife and her family have been coming here for years and now I come alot too. The prices are great and you always get a great helping of food. The servers and bussers are always smiling. Musics playing. And if you play pokemon go, there are even gyms nearby and great spawn rate in the surrounding area. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait and parking can be slim pickins, but thats just because the place is so poppin and popular. Be sure to stop in and grab the whole hog skillet if you love pork or the veggie omelette if you dont. Great options for everybody!!!

Very busy place. I can see why. The pancakes looked wonderful and must be, as so so many people were ordering them. I got the Spinach Benedict and it was so tasty! My guest got a scramble w/sausage, beans, peppers, spicy seasonings, etc. She loved it! Can't wait to return! Lunch menu looked equally delicious and I'd like to experience some of those dishes, too!

While you won't find a bloody Mary or cold mimosa here, if you're simply looking for a quality breakfast, look no further. Butters has a very large menu that includes your everyday favorites and some of their own signature items. I have visited both Butters locations in Scottsdale multiple times and have never been disappointed. The staff is always working hard and the food is always phenomenal.

Great place for breakfast! The orange juice is freshly squeezed, slightly sweet, and perfect. Expect the wait times to be long on the weekends but it is well worth the wait! The egg Benedict is fantastic and their version of hash browns is simple but tasty. Service is great, our server came by to check up on us frequently. Check it out if you are in scottsdale.

Affordable, quality Southwestern brunch venue. Most brunch entrees are $10-12 and served in generous portions. Recommend the corned beef skillet and Banana cream pancakes. The eggs Rojas wasn't bad...but I wish the flavored the beans or potatoes more. +$2 to add the chorizo FYI. Jam packed on weekends (75min wait at 10:30am), so plan accordingly.

I'd give 3.5 stars if I could, because it was great food, but the service left a bit to be desired. We sat on the patio, which was excellent, but it was a little chilly. My dad asked several people of they could turn the heater on, all said yes, but it never got accomplished. Other than that, there were a few forgotten items, which the server said we're miscommunications, which is understandable, but it happened several times. As for the food, it was very tasty, I had the biscuits and gravy, biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was very flavorful. The potatoes were cooked very nicely and had a great level of crispiness. Overall it was a good experience, and I'd definitely try it again to see if the service miscues were a fluke.

The Santa Fe scrambler comes with chorizo and jalapenos. It was one of the best breakfasts I ever had! The meal also comes with pancakes, which I upgraded to their specialty Berry Bliss pancakes. So much bliss. No regrets!

I wish we had one in Cleveland. We visited for breakfast while in Scottsdale. My husband ordered an omelette that had bacon, sausage and cheese. I had eggs Benedict that were served with biscuits and gravy instead of English muffins and hollandaise. The crepes sounded wonderful so we split an apple cinnamon crepe. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. The sausage gravy Benedict was so creative and amazingly good! The crepe was very light and thin. Super sweet, I would have as a dessert instead. The only thing better than the food was the service. The servers made sure your coffee cup was always full. It didnt matter if they were your server or not, they came by the see if you wanted a top off. Its been a long time since I have enjoyed a breakfast dining out this much. Thank you!

This place is absolutely outstanding. The food and lattes are incredible. We have so many mediocre breakfast places in the valley, this is such a welcome change. It is alwayd busy but worth the wait I recommend sitting on the patio if you can.

We have Been a regular customer, but obviously we are in the minority when it comes to Hash Browns. We like them crisp and hot, the way they used to be, but now they make them in house and they are wam and soggy.. We love their egg entrees and pancakes, but doubt that we will be returning very often due to the potatoes and the noise level at the new location.

Great for breakfast/ brunch. A really good menu selection, nice service if a little on the slow side, and well prepared and presented food at fairly reasonable prices. Even though the line appears to be long (it's always packed here) the wait is reasonably short, usually no more than 10 minutes. Enjoy!

We didn't know this location moved. Its beautiful, staff is friendly, food is delicious! My love and I went to grab some breakfast and I swear the menu is bigger than before. Every option is great though, and the OJ mmmmm the best you'll ever have. Our server Ashly was so friendly, and fast. I am one of those people that like my food a certain way. I told her how i wanted it and it came out just as asked. I don't ever like to praise one specific person, becasue it is a team effort and no my husband and I do not know our server outside of Butter's...But great job Ashly!! The manager as well..stopping at tables and greeting the guests. We people watch and it seemed as the restaurant was just flowing nicely. My husband and I haven't had that wonderful of service in a while. We will definitely be coming back!!! Thanks again!!!

Butters makes living in a desert damn near pleasant. How you ask? Try the Banana Cream Pancakes and get back to me. I asked for extra bananas because I'm that person.The service was attentive without being obnoxious, the price point for all the food is great. My husband and I often eat here, we are both gluten free, and not those ones that just don’t like it, but like really bad reactions. We also love breakfast! So we were excited to find a place that does gluten free pancakes. But we also have a ton of options that are delicious. The fruit side is always the perfect ripeness, the service is fast, and they will make sure your happy. It is a wait, but if your not one to wait 30-40 minutes for breakfast, show up before 8:30. We’ve even gone before work, cause the service is so fast and it’s quiet early on the weekday. They did change the hash browns recently which was a little sad. Cause the old ones were so good. and you have to pay extra for the good syrup (I recommend it) Overall good value for the money.

The service and food were outstanding. The only issue is that if you go during prime time on weekends for brunch you will have a long wait. They have large portions of both omelets, pancakes and waffles which you might consider splitting. Highly recommended.

Definitely gotta get the pancakes. The pancakes were so fluffy and buttery. I ordered the mascarpone and blueberry pancakes and they were so freaking good! The egg scrambler was also so tasty. Overall darn tasty! Service was also on point and our server Hope handled our rowdy 6 top perfectly. Definitely a go to breakfast place for this area.

If you like big BIG plates this is the place. What I loved the more is the service. The manager was so attentive and went around all tables. He was honest. If you are ordering pancakes beware you will have a mountain. If you are ordering an omelette you will have 5 eggs + all the sides. Pancakes, fruit or sausage... the list goes on and on. The taste is delicious, very good quality of food. We went 3 weekend consecutive. And the orange juice is freshly squeezed, 100% natural.

Excellent breakfast. Me and my Hunny Bunny stumbled upon Butters in Scottsdale looking to eat. Top level staff. Our server, Hope, went above and beyond. They helped us get a great breakfast and a decent take out meal to eat while she's on dialysis too. Always filling up my coffee cup with good java. This place is a bit hidden yet super busy because it's great. Good fast service. Good food. Smiles all around. Coming here again. For a hypoglcemic with a fetish for breakfast Butters has it all!

I took advice from the other reviews and went in early on a Tuesday. I was seated immediately. Thoroughly enjoyed the eggs with chicken sausage and hash browns and upgraded to the cinnamon roll pancakes, yum. Definitely get the fresh orange juice!

There is nothing groundbreaking here, with the exception of offering Swedish pancakes outside of the northern Midwest, but everything is done really, really well. The portions are generous, but not to the black bear diner enormity. If you don't dig on swine, their chicken sausage is the best in the valley. The only downside is the wait, but it is totally worth it.

Updated: the manager came out and apologized because he saw my friends fb review. He explained the miscommunication with the server who also apologized. They do have tons of good reviews, the food is delightful. Our overall experience was below average. I am disappointed in this place. 1. We were told it's a 20-30 min wait on a table. That's fine. But we were also told that we would get a text when our table was ready. I gave them my number and we waited outside. 40 min later we go in and check and they say "we've been paging you". I show them that I never received a text and they said "oh we didn't send it. We announced it in speaker (the muffled speaker outside). So they apologize andbseat us. 2. We sat for 15 minutes without a waitress even coming to get us drinks. Then when one girl realized that we didn't have any she asked if should get us any and we said no but we knew what we wanted and we're ready to order. She said ok that she would be back but another 10 min later and nothing. 3. The waitress finally came and did not apologize for ignoring us after walking by 5x. Like it was busy and my friend and I are super understanding but we should have gotten a "I'm sorry I'll be right with you." At some point. There was one bright side. The manager came over during our very long wait and made some suggestions about what to order and was super friendly. The food was good. But overall I won't come back based on the service alone. It looked like we went the only ones with the issue either as another lady who waited with us seemed to be experiencing the same thing.

Went to the spot at around 8am it wasn’t that full so we were able to be seated when we got there (Once we left at 9am there was a waiting line). I got the Garden skillet which was good but it did need salt because it tasted bland. I also got the Oreo cookie s’more pancake it was good but very very sweet. You would be good just eating half of this.

WOW, the food was fantastic and nothing processed. I had the Irish benadict which is poached eggs on homemade corned beef hash on English muffin with cheesy grits on the side--the best grits I have ever had. This is a must eat place for breakfast.

Mid morning weekday & had to wait for a table. Food was plated nicely. Our grits were in a thick flavorless cream - 3 of 3 at my table sent them back. Server cheerfully exchanged for different sides. OJ was great. Nothing "wrong" there, just not very compelling.

The food was fresh and delicious and well seasoned overall. if I were you, I would consider asking them to season the contents of the omelette before putting it together I had an omelette with veggies and feta cheese and did a great job with the preparation. I also enjoyed one of their protein pancakes by adding an upgrade. The coffee just ok too be, but my dining companion really liked it, but they were super attentive at keeping the cups full. The service was superb and I love that my host and server were confident and their recommendations of which food to eat.

Delicious breakfast worth the wait. My husband cane here after we checked out of Talking Stick Resort. This was an amazing find! When I asked a gentleman sitting next to me while we waited if this place was "that" good to justify the predicted 45-60 minute wait (we only waited 30 minutes before receiving a text that we will be seated. Now I can answer with a strong YES! I had 2 eggs with 2 pancakes and Canadian bacon. My husband totally loved a baked potato omlette. Both breakfasts were delicious.

The food was only fair, and we waited an hour and 45 minutes to get a table. I got eggs Benedict which really wasn't very good, and my son got pancakes. He said his food really wasn't that good. The highpoint of the visit was when I got a banana smoothie which was delicious. I just can't give it more than 3 stars. Also, the hostess was pretty rude to us.

The bacon was done just right and the French toast was well presented, with fresh bananas, but was too soggy. Otherwise they would have had five stars.

Absolutely amazing! We were visiting Arizona from Michigan and this was the first stop after getting in from the airport. it was 100% worth the wait the breakfast and service were great! I'd highly recommend it if you are in the area. They are definitely busy and for good reason, so prepare yourself for that, but its totally worth it.

Firstimers, used Waitlist, about a 30min wait, Friday, mid-morning. Not too terrible. SUPER busy and popular place. Took advantage of the outdoor seating area, ordered a Whole Hog skillet with Cinnamon roll pancakes and an Irish Benny corned beef Benedict. All three were amazing. Staff was friendly and attentive. Cant say enough good. I recommend.

I've eaten breakfast at another location before which was excellent, and the other day I found that lunch here is great too! The turkey club was spot on. Willy, the manager, was very friendly and our waitress, Laura, is A-Class. My dad and his wife always ask for her when they go, and I could see why! I'll definitely try and make it back when I visit next!

I have been here many times and have never had anything not great. The fluffiest scrambled eggs (not sure how) too smooth cheesey grits. I like the swedish pancakes thin with crispy laced edges almost like thicker crepes. Lunch is delicious also.

I came here before a doctor's appointment, and they were so accommodating for the rush. The food was amazing, and the pancakes were some of the best pancakes I have ever had. The ambiance was so perfect for a cute breakfast place, and I love the energy. I also ordered a latte, and it had the cutest latte art and the espresso was very delicious. I wish they had more locations because I would love to go back!

Always a great experience! The manager Willie made us feel welcome and our server Brooke really took care of us from start to finish. She reminded us of our old home town in NY which is full of great memories and food for us! Recommend this for breakfast to anyone.

Visited Butters for breakfast on Christmas eve. We found the staff extremely attentive, menu expansive with conventional favorites as well as some interesting twists, and decor clean and comfortable. The scrambles were generous and the cheese grits were super creamy. All in all a very pleasant breakfast.

Service was slow on a Wednesday morning when the place was not busy at all. After being sat by the hostess, we waited for 10 minutes before anyone approached us to pour coffee. We leasurely finished our coffee before anyone bothered to take our food order. Plenty of staff wandering around and chatting with each other but no one bothered to serve customers. We are very disappointed!

Thus was our first time to visit this restaurant. Food was very good. The only thing is it appeared that everything was ala carte. That can become very costly for young families. Portions were plenty. I did appreciate the fact that you could put your name on a wait list. Give it a try.

First time coming to this place usually I stick to the IHOP, Dennys or Burger/Breakfast joints, check this though, me and my girl pulled up Sunday around 10- 11am as we figured it was PACKED, a part of me didnt want to wait but by the time we got somewhere else and waited there, then I figured this place is packed for a reason... So about 45min later we get called for a seat outside, it was a nice cool day so i didnt mind sitting outside so anyway the food was Good but they serve you water out this vase they leave on the table and after 20 30 min the ice melts and they wont switch it out unless u request it, (IHOP and Dennys brings u fresh ice water every 15min) The wait time for the food is pretty quick they have alot of servers and employees so it's good to see they care to provide work and see the foot traffic come.and go. I got some over easy eggs with hashbrowns and some bannana cream pancakes and my girl got a scrambler with Hashbrowns and strawberry pancakes (you have to request the syrup), Now the quality of the food is banging the Hash brown was fresh cut potato but missing a little something!! Its way better quality than the typical IHOP/Dennys, the portions arent as big but they're just right the flavors very homestyle type the eggs and scrambler taste like they came right out your kitchen VERY GOOD, the price is about the same as IHOP so for my first experience with Butters ima give em a 4, when I come back I'm gonna try that bomb looking Orange Juice they got and I'll try their lunch menu.
