I am not quite sure why I have never been here for breakfast, but SO glad we stopped in on a whim this last weekend! The parking lot was packed -- which is always a good sign for the best meal of the day! Service was wonderful, the staff were all friendly and smiling. We ordered Huevos Rancheros for the hubs, and I got pancakes. It was a cool surprise when my pancakes were delivered in the shape of Mickey Mouse! Breakfast was tasty... so much so that my husband went back the next day for late lunch and tried their Menudo which is served every day... he said it was really good which is saying a LOT. Can't go wrong popping in for a diner-esque type breakfast!

It was clean and the food was quick and tasted good. Prices were about average compared to the amount of food. Kinda depends on the dish/meal ordered. Like the breakfast burrito (s) were large however you can get ones just as big if not bigger for cheaper or same price at drive through Mexican restaurant. The employees were nice. There have been several attempts over the years at this location to serve food & they all failed. I gave it a chance one day awhile back & I'm so very glad I did. It's not rocket science...there's no gimmicks..they make great food, service is awesome & the price is much better than most. Every single time I visit I get the same result.... First time at this place. I had biscuits and gravy . the biscuits were a but dry. The gravy was very simple, boarding on bland. Eggs and sausage were placed on top of the biscuits. Eggs were under cooked a bit. Bf had the chorizo burrito. He loved it, but had very little eggs in it.

What a disappointment! Been to this place a few times for breakfast and it was ok. Went in today for lunch and had a horrible experience. Decided to order the spicy burger. As the name implies, I expected it to be spicy. Born and bred in the Southwest, I can handle some serious heat in my food. But this was ridiculous. Half of the burger was mildly spicy and rather pleasant. The second half was insanely hot. Through the tears and the snot I examined the burger to find a layer of chili paste so thick that it soaked into the bun. Completely inedible. While I'm trying to wipe away tears and sweat the server came by to ask if it was too spicy. When I finally managed to reply that it was, she pointed out that I shouldn't have ordered a spicy burger. Thanks. I don't know if this is how they normally spice their food or the cook is just horrible at their job, but I know that if I want to experience the effects of pepper spray I'd rather antagonize a cop than eat here again.

Excellent breakfast and modest prices. I had 3 eggs scrambled with chorizo, sides of refried beans and salsa and a big flour tortilla all for only $8.12. My wife had a beef tamale, two eggs, hash browns, salsa and a tortilla for only $7.71! We both cleaned our plates. Coffee was good and plentiful.

I got their Huevos ranchero and it was really good. Came with beans and rice. The rice was like my grandma made it with corn, carrot, green beans and peas in it. The only thing I'd change is the amount of salsa. They just put too much where it was too much liquid on the plate. Still good though but next time I'd ask for lighter on the salsa. Very friendly service, excellent and wholesome food and an atmosphere that puts you at ease. This is truly a local restaurant that delivers everything that one could wish for breakfast.

I get why its called breakfast stop now. Breakfast is delicious dont get me wrong never had a complaint till now. I regret going in for lunch. Ordered a Burger which was soggy and small. Good presentation except it had NO FLAVOR. My guest had a chicken dinner plate they forgot to give us the bread that it comes with and the chicken was like kid size. When we got there I felt a different ambiance. Its like all the staff was dragging their feet. I took a minute to order because I didnt know what I wanted the waitress had us waiting for 10 mins till she returned and there was only a handful of people. We ordered a cup of coffee and a soda she came back and set my soda right on the edge of table. THIS IS MY PET PEEVE WHEN YOU BRING ME SILVERWARE AND "NAPKINS" PLEASE BRING ME MORE THAN 1. Burger was messy and I was never asked for a refill on my drink. I always leave a good tip 20% or more. I been here several times. Today I just left my dollar change. I believe breakfast hours are just fine. I always say if your good at something keep doing it. Big menu, longer hours make sure you all are here for your customers and be catering to all.

Well I'm not gonna lie I was 100% surprised by my experience but it was a good one! It's a Mexican spot, you wouldnt know by the name. The food was good, my wife really enjoyed her hot wings and fries, I had pancakes shaped as bunnies eggs bacon and a side of home fries. Good amount of food so much we needed a box. There's not a lot of seating, but the wait staff was on point.

Service was good and the Mexican-style omelet that my dad had was quite good. My mom and I had the Eggs Benedict and it was made with what looked and tasted like a pre-made Hollandaise sauce which was quite disappointing. The grits were instant, but many places serve that, so I can't knock them too much for that.

You can't go wrong eating here. Really Good Food you will Enjoy. Breakfast the way you like it and DELICIOUS!!! The place always has customers and is full however you won't turn away as there is always a table that happens to be open for you. The kumquat tree just outside is nice touch and you can pick and eat or use in your recipes!!!

Wow! What an unexpected treasure. First time stopping in for breakfast. Chorizo was DELICIOUS! Everything was obviously homemade, from the salsa to the beans. Thought I wanted pancakes but then saw the menu and had to try it. Can’t wait to try more. Food amazing but the service? UNBELIEVABLE! My server was the sweetest! I will definitely be back..... SOON!

To me, Mexican American breakfast joints must be measured by their ability to execute chiliquiles. The Breakfast Stop, while not likely the best anyone has ever had, is certainly tasty and most importantly, cooked to perfection. As far as diners go, this one is making it into our family's regular rotation on account of its highly attentive & pleasant wait staff, and reasonably priced, am fuel.

First time todag thought ok its been here 4ever there must be a reason why. Both of ordered the chicke n fried steak breakfast... Grits...lumpy n undercooked, steak omg i couldnt even cut throught it n the edges were burnt n it had no flavor whatsoever. Hashbrowns were raw in the middle n no flavor. I chalked it up to maybe theyre know for their mexican food we'll just try that next time BUT then the waitress gave us the check asked how it was i said the steak was really tough...she replied oh n laughed...never again sorry to say!

The food was OK... But not for the price in my opinion. Everything tasted descent, their little special menu was very limited but does the job. I ordered a breakfast burrito... Just the burrito with nothing else was about $9... I would go if I wanted a fast $5 plate of eggs and toast but that's about it.

Superb breakfast diner. I came here on a Sunday morning meeting up with some friends. The staff was really friendly and patient, as I was a bit late in arriving and my friends waited to order. There's a good selection of food all for around $10. The portions you get are large. I got corned beef hash with home fries and scrambled eggs. The beef was crisp, fries weren't that crispy but still had good flavor. The eggs were nice and fluffy. All in all I would go here again, great food and service at low prices.

Great service, very friendly, wonderful food! We ate there three times,while we were in Tucson. The breakfast steak was great! My wife greatly enjoyed the green corn tamales. The huevos rancheros is supurb. Very flavorful and not too hot. You must try the Poblano green sauce in the bottles on the table.Word of warning, they close from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
