I ordered the country boy. The eggs had a very distinct weird taste to them. The biscuit was dry and the gravy was bland. the hashbrowns were like dry burnt french fries and the sausage was undercooked. This wasnt my first time going to this establishment, very dissapointed.

OH...MY...GOODNESS!!!!! If you eat breakfast anywhere else, you're depriving your taste buds and stomach of what's to be one of the best times of their life! I didn't eat the pancakes or HUGE cinnamon roll but wished I did when I saw them! Wow! Great food and coffee at great prices. Place was packed and the service was fast. Faster than Denny's and Ihop. Such a great atmosphere and decor.

Handsdown i never heard anyone walkout of this place astonished by their delicious breakfast, from their awesome waitresses to their MUST TRY HEALTHY SIZED DELICIOUS CINNAMON ROLLS that just put a smile on your face like you're 5 years old all over again having this magical treat along with their famous 5 car pile up! If you like good good this place will have you coming back with a smile every time.

Nice local breakfast restaurant. Service was fine, food was good, lots of options. Bloody Mary's were great could have been a little better w garnishes. My mom liked her Mimosa. Cinnamon roll was huge and delicious, biscuits were gigantic. Gravy didn't really taste flavorful or homemade unfortunately. I would def come back and try more items.

The waitress was nice, but the food was not so great. The home fries were burnt but soggy and cold. The biscuits and gravy were lukewarm and had one small piece of sausage. My wife said that if she didn't think of her hashbrowns as hashbrowns they weren't that bad... they got my daughters order wrong. I know I could have asked for them to do something and I could have told the waitress that the only thing that was hot was the coffee and syrup but you really shouldn't have to do that in the first place. There are some other Great places for breakfast in town but this was close and we wanted to try it one more time. Definitely the last time.

Went here for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. I had the Eggs Benedict, my husband had a cheese omelette and we shared their large cinnamon roll. All of it was so good and that roll wasn't too sweet. The place was packed and yet our breakfast came out quickly, our coffee was constantly refilled and we never felt ignored. Great food and great service. Will definitely be back there again.

This place is a little off the beaten path as far as typical tourist area, but absolutely worth it. The cinnamon rolls is amongst the best I have ever had. Especially considering we lucked out in going in October to get a pumpkin cinnamon roll. It was phenomenal. I also got the cinnamon roll french toast (no judgement, I'm on vacation). This stop was a highlight of the trip and we will absolutely be back!!!

I love having breakfast or lunch at the Backburner. The staff is always friendly and very polite. Today Keana was our waitress and like always she greets us with a great smile, eye contact and remembers our favorite dish. I have always received great service from all the staff, except the cook, only because I never see him..But thank you too cook! Everyone is always upbeat and positive, always with a smile and always making eye contact. Overall this a great place and I recommend it to all my friends and family. Thank you.

I was on my way to Jerome and stopped here. The place has great food I got the "5 car" and the lady got a burrito. Both were more than filling. We ended up getting the maple pecan cinnamon roll too and the flavor was on point. The service was friendly and I would visit again on my visits up north.

Best food joint in town. It’s probably a good thing that they are only open for breakfast and lunch, otherwise I would be broke. It’s our families weekend breakfast treat and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The food is always delicious, well priced, and super friendly staff. The place was busy on Sunday afternoon and we were seated at a very comfortable table within a short period of time. We ordered and had to wait a reasonable amount of time . The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. My chili was consumed with no trouble at all, perfectly seasoned. The eggs with biscuits and country gravy my son had was a 3 out of 5 stars. My grandsons grilled cheese was a 5 for 5. Our first visit, not bad we'll be back. Service was excellent for a very busy place.

Great menu, but your meal depends on the cook. Sometimes, the tortillas in the breakfast enchiladas are tender, another time, they were hard on the edges. The chilaquiles are delicious! It is spicy eggs scrambled with crunchy tortillas that have just been deep-fried. However, I came on the wrong day, and the chilaquiles were mostly deep fried tortillas with a little bit of egg on them. And that day the hash browns were undercooked. However, the food is tasty enough it is worth a gamble!
