The St Louis style ribs were yummy! I liked that they had a BBQ sauce station so you could pick the one you wanted. Six different sauces. I had the sweet and tangy and it was good. Shout out to WakeUp Daily on YouTube for letting me know about Arizona BBQ.

Life-changing barbecue at this place and service with a smile to match from a local owner.this place has been there over 2 years but it's a little bit off the road as in the middle of a strip mall type area but definitely worth the search. they have high top big tables for groups at a bar in half the place and then regular tables at the rest. six different sauces and I think the same amount of brews on tap from Huss make this place amazing definitely check it out for anybody who loves melt-in-your-mouth barbecue brisket!

First time visiting Arizona BBQ Company. Mest has flavor, 6 sauce station is a great idea, allowing you to sample a variety, which is always nice. The stand out, for me, was the chicharrones (pork rinds). Made fresh, they are still popping when you get them, and the seasoning is great.

We've tried the Ribs and Brisket. Both were smoked perfectly. We also tried all of the sauces. The Colorado spicy and green chili is great. We tried the Mac and cheese, corn and wedges. Really great job with the seasoning. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys real BBQ.

Really impressed with the barbeque here! All the meats we've tried here have tasted great. We've only had one experience that the meat wasn't super moist and delicious - all the other times were fantastic. Large portions at a fair price. You can't really see this place from the road, but don't let that stop you from trying it. It's worth it!

Really good BBQ, Az. Style. The brisket melts in your mouth, the ribs have the perfect amount of bark and the meat falls off the bone, good smoke flavor but not over powering, pulled pork very flavorful and juicy, the honey butter is the best I've ever tasted, they use az honey. They have 6 sauces if you like to dip your meat, sweet & tangy, chipotle, sweet habanero, honey mustard, green Chile, colorado sauce, the mac and cheese is so cheesy and slight spice with the green chiles and smoky bacon, the corn bread muffin works well with the honey butter, food is served with a fire roasted jalapeno and tortilla corn or flour, the meat melts in your mouth. The food you get is well worth the price. When I come here next time I will try the chicken and sausage, great place in Az, AZ BBQ on the map.

So excited that Arizona BBQ finally opened after trying some of their meats at a preview event a few weeks ago. We love their dining room and the decor and the friendliness of the staff. The brisket and barbecue sauces were spot-on, and they have a lot bigger menu than I thought they would and we can't wait to go back to try more of it.

I am addicted to this place!! I have eaten practically every item on the menu and cannot select one food item as my favorite because IT’S ALL GOOD!! The pork and beef and chicken is juicy and can stand on their own as TASTY but when the one of six types of bbq sauces is added to the meats the flavor goes up exponentially!! SERIOUSLY, PEOPLE, do your tastebuds and tummy a favor and eat here!!

Fantastic brisket. Mac and cheese was meh, but the beans were great! No booths, only hard wooden chairs. I had back surgery last year and sitting on hard surfaces always throws it out, and today I have been hurting. Will still come for the brisket, but will take it to go from now on... :( Wish they had beef ribs, there's nobody in town that does, and I am just not a fan of pork.

Great lunch spot. We had pulled pork sandwich and chicken sandwich. Usually not a potato wedge fan and these were huge, and cooked to perfection. Great seasoning rub. There was a good selection of sauces for the meats. Have to return to try out the drinks.

This is a great BBQ place but hard to find. However, it is worth tracking down. They bbq onsite. Service is great. Food is superb. This is a must find spot. You have to drive behind the Circle K.

Great food! The set up is a little misplaced. I ordered to go food on my birthday because I was sick. Drove 6 miles home and found they had not given me all my side orders. Drove back and they gave me them no hassle. But no apology from a manager or anyone. Maybe the whole "Yeah your food is in the window, just go grab it" system doesn't really work.

Solid BBQ in Arizona. Brisket was a little bit dry, and I would have preferred bread over a tortilla, but those are minor nits. The flavor is good, the ribs were great, and they have quite a big sauce selection. Two standouts there: 1. the habanero sauce is delicious, and 2. the Colorado sauce tastes like mole, if that's what you're into. Not my cup of BBQ sauce though.

This here is what you can literally call a hidden gem!!! As soon as you walk in you can can see the cooks doing their craftsmanship and making works of art! Once you decide on what to order from their delicious sounding menu you are helped by friendly and polite staff and are treated by some nice smokey aroma of what you are about to get. The cooks, which by the way one of them is the owner, are very friendly and nice enough to answer questions you may have about what is on your plate if they are not busy. I asked about their jalapeños that come on the side with their very delicious brisket burrito and my wife and I were treated with some extra ones to take home! I cannot recommend this place enough and if you haven't been then you are missing out on one of the best local bbq joints that Gilbert has to offer! I also recomend their mac and cheese and sweet buttery cornbread. DON'T MISS THIS ONE!

Had the superstition platter. Ribs, brisket, and chicken as a substitute for pulled pork. Sides were corn muffin and chili lime corn cob. The good- the ribs had good flavor and were not over cooked. The brisket was completely average. The corn muffin was decent. The bad- the sauce selection while plentiful was lacking. No real sweet/sticky option, and the sweet sauce was vinegary and spicy. The ribs did not have the membrane peaked off the underside- bbq 101. My meal also included inexplicable tortillas and they forgot my chicken. Plus the lay out of the building was weird with a bar in one corner and a station to order on the opposite side with a huge window to the kitchen where you pick up your food. The ugly- The chili lime corn had over powering lime flavor and I didn’t have a second bite. Mouth puckering. All in all it wasn’t the worst but far from the best. They need a better baked bean option, peel their membranes, get some better bark/char on the ribs, and their brisket could be better. 3.5ish

In our quest to find something equivalent to Kansas City BBQ, we tried Arizona BBQ Company. Based on the google reviews, we were excited to try their bbq but our visit was "ok" at best. Pros: 1. The tangy coleslaw is a must-try. It was refreshing and unexpected. This was my favorite thing out of everything we purchased. 2. The staff were friendly, and and the restaurant is decorated cute 3. The baked potatoes are huge and were pretty good. 4. There were three or four different types of bbq sauce, and they all were pretty decent but a tad on the spicy side. 5. The green chili was flavorful. Cons: My husband ordered brisket and turkey, and both were dry. We also thought it was expensive, considering everything outside of the coleslaw was average. If the meat had been moist it would have been worth the money, but we had to throw half of the meat. Perhaps we visited on an "off" day. Overall, we've found better value for our money elsewhere.

Amazing food and amazing people. Such a great local atmosphere and locally owned/operated. Plus they support the community we live in in some really awesome and caring ways. They serve locally brewed beer on tap as well as locally made margaritas on tap. Yes, on tap!! Super smooth and delicious. I highly recommend checking this place out.

I'm kinda snobby about barbecue...I appreciate a good sauce, but strongly believe the meat should be tasty even without sauce. And, sides are important, not an afterthought! This place delivers on all points! Hibiscus berry tea was also tasty, and there is a warmed sauce bar with 6 different bbq sauces. I will absolutely be back whenever I'm in town, & have already told my local friends & family about it.

Everything I've tried here has been delicious. From the hotlinks to the ribs. Even the sides are fantastic. The potato wedges are nicely seasoned and crispy on the outside, soft inside. Make sure to try the corn on the cob and the pork rinds which are still crackling on the table from being freshly cooked.

A decent BBQ place with great service located in Gilbert, AZ. When we first arrived we were welcomed and helped immediately. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I ordered a sampler meal with brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. The brisket was nice and fatty, tender, and melted in your mouth. The chicken was nice and juicy, not dried out like you sometimes find in other places. The pulled pork was great, nice smoke, tender. I could have kept eating it. The sides though! I had the mac and cheese and the ranchero beans. These were the best beans I've come across here in Phoenix, hands down. The mac and cheese had peppers and bbq in it and was similarly fantastic. I could have just eaten a bowl of the mac and cheese and been perfectly happy. They have Huss brewing on tap, which is a great local brewery. I love their IPA and Lager. Now, sauces. Being from TN I do love a good sauce and they have them in spades. A standard sweet and tangy, a chipotle, habanero, green Chile, mustard, and a Carolina sauce. All of the sauces were very solid choices. I'd say the only sauce that I didnt like was the Carolina sauce? It was nice and spicy but its flavor was just absorbed by the meat. So I mixed it with other sauces to add more kick. Your mileage may vary on that though, I'm used to spicy. The standout sauce though is their mustard bbq sauce. I love a good mustard sauce and this one is amazing. When I go back, and I will even if it's just to try that mac and cheese sandwich, I will probably just drown everything in that amazing mustard sauce. So long story short, if you find yourself down in Gilbert, you owe it to yourself to try this place out.

The wife and I stopped in for dinner. We both had a combo. The meats were terrific and plenty of it. With all the meat and ample side dishes you really get your money's worth. I wish the wedges were cut a bit more thin. And the mac and cheese wasn't as creamy as I wished, but it was all good eats. We didn't care for the slaw at all though. It was heavy with vinegar. The restaurant was clean and the service was great.

Well I was very disappointed. The brisket was fatty was not even warm. Liked the idea of sauce bar liked the one's I tasted. The Black Tea container tasted liked the Hibcus flavor. The side of Southwest Slaw had an over powering lime of something in the dressing.

Love Arizona BBQ. The pork is so flavorful on it's own you don't need any sauces. With that said, you need to try the variety of sauces. My favorite is the Sweet and Tangy. The options for side dishes are fantastic. The mac & cheese is delicious. We are definitely becoming regulars here.

Good food I got the superstition platter. I always go with a platter. Been here a few times. Only thing I would complain is when I ordered my platter I was informed the ribs would be a little longer which I didn’t mind I was on my lunch break so I can eat with my co workers and in about 30 minutes I’d have ribs! Sounded like a win-win well after a smoke and a while of waiting then my co worker who ordered after I did got his food I was like okay what’s going on. Turns out they were holding my platter until the ribs were done. Which wasn’t cool cause that’s not what I said I wanted, that’s not what they offered and they just made that decision not me. But yeah foods good lol Edit: with that kind of response and action this is now a five star

Excellent BBQ. I am originally from Texas, so I have had my share of brisket. I have to say, this is probably the best brisket I have ever had (in or out of Texas). The pulled pork was juicy and full of flavor and the ribs were outstanding. All of the sides were good. I love that they let you sauce your food yourself (with an excellent selection of really good sauces). Service was superb! I hope they do well because they are a little bit hidden. Go there, try their food and go back. We need to support these guys!

Having traveled the country, sampling brisket and pulled pork in some of the most renowned places, I have come across a true hidden gem and a place worthy of sharing. AZ BBQ is in my top 3 BBQ places in the United States, including all of Texas and Missouri. Run, don't walk, to feast upon some truly magnificent brisket and pulled pork. The mac n cheese and chicharrones are made in house. Be wary of the innocent looking roasted jalapeno you get with your meal - it is over the top delicious (and spicy!!!!) Love the southwestern spin on BBQ. Amazing loaded baked potatoes with 6 different sauce options. The Green Chile and Sweet & Tangy are the best! Great variety of meats, sandwiches, burritos, and tacos. But save room for desert because they have soapapillas...done the right way being nice and fluffy! Highly recommended. Tough to see from the road, it's kind of off to the west back in a strip mall, makes it hard to find. Immaculate and well-kept (if spartan) restaurant with not enough seating! Take-out may be recommended at certain times. Beans not saturated with brown sugar. Fantastic brisket, excellent pulled pork, and ribs served perfect and not drowned in BBQ sauce. The staff clearly works very hard to make good food and happy customers.

Loved this place, good brisket definitely smoked with mesquite and something else they said was oak. Nice chicharrones and corn on the cob. Habenero sauce hit the spot, not too hot, but just a nice flavor.

Very impressed! Try the brisket chili. It's amazing. I had the pulled pork sandwich with the sweet tangy sauce. It was so stick to your ribs delicious. I was sceptical at first but only because of how small the dining room seemed. I was expecting a "famous Dave's" style but nope! It's simple and comfortable. Just the best bbq I've had in my face in years maybe ever.

I got to sample Arizona BBQ Company's delicious food during a showcase sneak peek in Gilbert and oh. my. god. It was amazing. Mark roasts all of his meats "dry" so you can add as much (or as little, in my case) barbecue sauce as you want. I had pulled pork and brisket, and both were amazing, even without sauce added. The brisket practically melted in my mouth (it's watering right now just remembering) and the pork was super flavorful. My husband had the pulled pork and ribs, with chipotle barbecue sauce added, and he raved about them. And he's a TX boy who takes his BBQ seriously, so that's saying something. He said the sauce was perfectly sweet and spicy and I have to admit, my own taste off his plate was incredible. We've decided that AZ BBQ is our new go-to place. Delish!

Come on guys, I don't like seeing boxed Cornbread mix from seated at my table..it's Tuesday and it's very quiet. The BBQ is really good, so was the Chili Lime Corn on the cob - that was the only side that seemed fresh to order. The Mac and cheese was nothing special, having read that the bacon is house made, I was expecting bigger bacon flavor as opposed to the few bacon bits sprinkled on top..the green chili flavor came through, but it would have been nice to see some green chillies..Excellent beer prices! $3 for a San Tan draft!

Now this is good BBQ! Came for the first time tonight - loved every minute of it. This restaurant is new to town, and can’t turn down the opportunity to try BBQ! We were greeted immediately upon entering. Grab a menu and place an order at the counter. When ready, they call out your number to come pick it up. The food was incredible! I had the camelback combo, with brisket, chicken and pulled pork, along with beans and green chili/bacon Mac and cheese! The portions were extremely large - my wife and I both took half our meal to go. The staff continually walked around asking how the food was and if we needed anything. The service was solid, and quick. Food was fairly priced, as well, compared to other BBQ joints around. The location is just off the road, not the easiest to spot on your first visit. We loved it though and will be back!

For years, Joe's has been my gold standard. Now it's this place. Holy cow. The brisket was moist and fantastic. And the ribs! Pink all the way through and falling off the bone and moist and just delicious. Same goes for the pulled pork, just the most flavorful awesome BBQ I've had in a long time, even without sauce. But the sauces are so good too. Green chili, habanero, Colorado sauce... BBQ sauces for people who like spice, not just sweet. Amazing. And the green chili bacon mac and cheese was so good. This is the best BBQ place I've ever had, and I suspect it will remain that way until I take a long road trip through Texas. I have no idea how long this place has been there, hiding in the back of the shopping center where you can't see it, but I'm so glad I found it.

Quick, easy, friendly service. I got the Camleback combo. It was awesome!! All the meat was cooked perfectly. Surprisingly even the chicken was juicy and tender. I got the southwest slaw and chili bacon mac. The slaw was lime and cilantro. It was really excellent! They have a nice selection of beer, and other drinks. They also have a bar. It was really great!

Excellent BBQ and tasty food. This was my first visit. I thoroughly enjoyed the food:brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, cornbread and mac and cheese. Excellent food for the value of money. Great atmosphere and I totally love that this is a local restaurant. Looking forward to supporting them more.

This was a nice surprise. Very good. Try the tacos. It's a great way to try the various meats and they make a great taco. The meat fell right off the ribs. The cornbread muffin is fantastic. The corn on the cob was cooked over fire. Overall very good. The coleslaw was strange.

I had carry out ribs with green chili mac n-cheese and coleslaw. The order took only 5 or 6 minutes to put together and was complete. The ribs were as good as any I have ever eaten. The were moist and tender. The sides were also good. The sauces were a surprise as most places have 1 or 2 this place had 6. I really like the habanero, green chili, and mustard. The restaurant is a cafeteria style place not fancy. They have a small bar in one corner that at this time is not functional because of licensing issues. Management says this is being taken care of. Some of the online menu items were not available at the restaurant. I will definitely go back.

This establishment was tucked away a bit, but very much worth the experience. The brisket, ribs, sandwiches, etc, were very tasty, moist, tender, and delicious! Generous portions and prices are reasonable. Nice treat from ordinary fast food, pizza, etc. We'll be going back!

I love this place!! You really get what you pay for, and then some!! Very gracious on portions, so many places that sell meat are so stingy with portions. Oh and their sides are so delicious! I’ve been here twice already and I can say without a doubt, this is one of the best if not the best BBQ spot in AZ and well worth the drive no matter where in the valley you’re coming from. The portions are huge and the food is genuinely authentic. No chain restaurant feel or taste here. If you’re looking for real BBQ with an AZ territory feel, this is the place to go! My go to spot for BBQ from now on!

What great BBQ. We got the 4 Peaks meat platter which included chicken, ribs, brisket, and pork. We also got a side of sausage for an extra $4. There were six sauces to choose from. We will pass on the coleslaw next time because it was only a vinegar coleslaw with no mayonnaise. The mac and cheese was great. Will definitely return. They also have a 15% military discount.

Let's start with the only down side. It's hard to see from the road. Yup that's all that is wrong. They serve the meat dry as in no sauce (but as a true BBQ afficinado you knew that). That should tell you just how well the meat is cooked. It's fall off the bone tender. The selection of sauce is goes from sweet and tangy to mouth on fire all delicious. We got the 4 peaks combo. That's enough food for a small army or one really hungry person. Our sides were the Mac and cheese and cornbread muffin (in my opinion ok, my wife says after butter is added delicious). Staff is super friendly and Trinity was especially helpful.

This place has some of THE BEST BBQ I have ever had!! I moved here from Texas, so I know good BBQ, and I'm picky about it. This is as good as it gets. The portions are generous, the staff is EXCEPTIONALLY friendly, and the food is out of this world!! The ONLY constructive criticism I have is their cornbread muffins are a little dry. I think it would taste better if they made it in smaller, thinner squares so less cooking time would be required and it would be more moist. Besides that, everything is as close to perfect as you can get!! Highly recommend.

The food looked, smelled and tasted nasty. I would /could not ever recommend this BBQ restaurant. We took a few bites and threw it out. We are from Kansas City and the only reason we decided to eat at this BBQ place was we saw a review that said this restaurant was similar to a very popular BBQ restaurant in KC. I don't know who said they were similar because they are not even close.

Not local to the area, so we just decided to check it out based off the reviews. The BBQ was outstanding. I tried the pork with the mac and cheese on it. It was kinda messy, but delicious. The Jalapeno was baked just right. It was no joke though. Normally I can devour several of these at other places, but this one had some serious kick that hung around for a while. We are going to head back again tonight before we leave town to try some of their other food. Highly recommended.

Menu had no descriptions. First thing i saw wasnt appetizers cause they are at the bottom of the menu. The first thing i saw was the most expensive thing of 25 dollars. Had no help from server when i said it was our first time. So we had a beer and left.
