This Restaurant is classified in the category of Turkish restaurant.
Genuine Turkish fair done ro high quality and a happy, professional staff. Chef is a Master!
Baba ganoush was to die for. Dolma ok & felafel ok but a bit too dry. I like it with a light crunchy layer on the outside but it was dry & flaky. Kabob good. Good beer & wine list.
The food was delicious and beautifully presentrp. Small portions, great with an appetizer and or dessert combination! Quiet, small and romantic atmosphere. Close to Northern Lights road!
Shepherd's Stew was a bit salty, rice was delicious, Baklava was a little too sweet (nice presentation), turkish delight had a light aftertaste.
Excellent food, but review your bill.
Thee food was amazing and fresh!
Lamb stew tender and delectable.special halibut was perfection.
Turkish coffee, dolmas, the lentil soup are my favorites.
Good Turkish food, felt like I was back in turkey.
Turkish Delight is in the top five in Anchorage. I enjoy the atmosphere and the food is great. Very unassuming joint that will knock your socks off.
Dont always give out 5 stars. See i have not found a good place to have gyros since louies in the dimond mall. When my plate showed up it was loaded with meat hot off the rotisserie reallly tasty meat. I dont like stew but tried their lamb stew very tender meat and flavors not over power really enjoyed it. baklava pairs well with turkish coffee will be going back again. Decent beer selection.
Wonderful food, welcoming atmosphere and service, food is always nice. The flavors are memorable, nothing is dull.
Amazing food I got the shish kebab and this food is some of the best middle eastern food I've ever had. I've been to Israel and eaten some of the same foods and I would definitely come back to this place. Great food and great service! The Turkish coffee is really good!
The food here is incredible! The chicken kebab really hit the spot, and it was served with a small salad and rice, making it the perfect sized lunch. Service was friendly. It was neat to sit at the bar and watch everything get cooked. I definitely recommend checking this place out for lunch or dinner. As a heads up, they are closed Sundays and Mondays.
Only restaurant in Anchorage worthy of the name.
Very nice service! Not too big but not too small! I enjoyed going there with my cousin and my sister. Food was pretty good and not too expensive
Great food, wonderful service and great atmosphere.
Good food with a lot of options, Turkish coffee, beer, gyros and kebab. We'll be coming back.
We started with a wonderful version of shakshuka. The chicken kabob entree with flavored rice and salad was delightful. Fairly priced. Awesome service! We will be back.
The owner is friendly and the food is delicious and amazing. I love the Mediterranean food. Nice and cozy place highly recommend
This is a wonderfully owned and family operated restaurant! Their food is fantastic and authentic (best gyro by far in Anchorage and maybe the best I have ever had!) Their service is superb and very friendly and welcoming! If you haven’t been here to eat your missing out!
Very nice Staff! Will definitely be coming back!!
Fabulous personal service, only outdone by the amazing food! The menu prices are surprisingly reasonable for this top of the line specialty restaurant. Turkish Delight is truly a delight, and we look forward to returning often!
Literally always a delight to go wine and dine here. The service is outstanding, and the food is even better. My favorite restaurant in Anchorage by far!
Delicious food, subtly nuanced flavors, comfy but elegant setting.
Lamb doesn't taste like lamb, more out of this world yummy!
Best lentils soup ever!!!
Had the gyro which was quite good (but the best in town but good) and we thought the atmosphere and service we better than most places where you'd get a gyro. Small inside and gets crowded Friday nights.
Authentic, delicious, great service, decent prices, nice atmosphere.
We are vegetarians. What we ordered was very good.
Staff was friendly, food was perfect. If you want to try something new, come here.
Cozy and family-owned Turkish food, and the house salad is DELICIOUS!
Wow a really great new restaurant in town! Pretty inside. Beer and wine. Good food. Great service.
Excellent food. Went there for lunch and took my husband there for dinner that same day!
Great food! Chicken kebab is my favorite from the menu and as simple as the dish is, it's one of the best grilled chicken/rice plate I've ever had. The baklava from the dessert menu is amazing too. Only complaint I have is that they are not open on Sundays ;)
Love the falafel and it's a small place where locals love to go for some amazing food.
Great place to eat if you are a vegetarian but they also have plenty of meat dishes. Tried the lentil soup, the doner kebab sandwich, and the falafel sandwich and everything was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be coming back! I also tried their special Turkish beer and was pleasantly surprised.
Excellent representation of Turkish cuisine, culture, and hospitality. Do not leave without a glass of Turkish tea.

Trying to order food no menu you need a Facebook or Yelp account to just even look at the menu to see what they have stupidest idea ever you should have a menu for customers to see

Brings back many great memories of Turkey...

Very clean and quite! It is a nice relaxed place to eat. Very friendly staff. Although didn't eat anything this time. My wife is turkish and was craving food from her home land. My wife enjoys comming here very much. Only one star at this time. Mainly because the menu has nothing on it realy, total of about 7 entires. None of which match the expensive cost of $15 to over $20 for each plate.

Best food in Anchorage
Really good food! Very nice and knowledgeable server. I'll definitely be back.
Can't say enough about the place. Food is GREAT. Chef does amazing things with beef and lamb on vertical grill. Chicken and fish are also worth trying. Service can be a tad slow especially when they are swamped, but it is improving as they learn to deal with their popularity.
We sampled some of every section, with the amazing guidance from Jay. As far as FODMAP goes, the menu is limited. Nothing I'm complaining about, just make sure you read the descriptions. The decor and arrangements were wonderful, and typically it was quiet enough for hushed conversations. With all of my 'super professional' restaurant experience, this is how an establishment should be run. Concise menu that doesn't over reach too far, good staff and service keeping a constant rotation of the tables. Definitely worth revisiting.
buffet is out of this world. authentic food and reasonably priced.
Great food, small location but delicious
All of the food we had was prepared with a fine attention to detail. From the delicate wrapping of the spanikopita to the proper amount of syrup and and spice in the baklava, they take good care of the food and their customers. It warrants several return visits. Oh, and plenty of beer and wine!
Great place for lunch or dinner. There were no weak dishes. All the meat was tender and juicy. Great place to order a lot and share dishes.
Absolutely the best lamb you will ever get in anchorage. Service is impeccable. Try everything on the apps menu!
We had to wait for a seat during the lunch rush but the food and service were great!
Good fresh food and comparable to what I remember from Turkey a few months ago. Nice staff and attentive. Worth a visit.
"I couldn't even choose a favorite part, because I was all soooooo good" -girlfriend definitely coming back here.
Great ambiance. Food was good. It was busy so we had to wait a good 15 minutes to get our food though we were seated immediately. I would go back.
Unbelievable food and atmosphere! If you want to show your loved one a lovely evening or just treat yourself this is the place. From the staff to the sweet course you will be moved.
Wow the food was amazing and much to big to finish everything. Leftover for 2 days and loved it in my burritos.
Excellent food and service, especially considering our large group! Thank you Murat!
Wonderful service and delicious food. An amazing dinning experience!
Love this place, Great Food!
This place is delicious, the iskender kebob is just amazing and if you've never been there you shouldn't go...its getting crowded
Well the name says it all. A modest residence shouldn't detract from a culinary adventure. A refined palate, and like-minded friend, is best brought to the subtle nuances of this ethnic venture. Think in terms of balance, texture and authenticity. A departure without risk to a delightful destination.
Loved this place sooo much. Great service, awesome atmosphere, good food.
I went to Turkish Delight today for lunch on the recommendation from one of my best friends and they did not disappoint! I had the special recommended by our server which was a Moussaka with eggplant & potatoes in lasagna like layers with a savory beef marinara and a cheesy like bechamel sauce on top. It came with a side of rice that was a nice compliment as well. The Turkish coffee was strong and flavorful as expected the hummus and pita bread appetizer really hit the spot! I would definitely recommend trying this great restaurant the next opportunity you get.
I have gotten takeout here twice. Since there is literally nowhere to view the menu ahead of time, instead of calling in my order like I would at pretty much any other restaurant in town I had to order in person and wait. Trying to rely on pictures people have posted online to help me decide on a dish has failed me twice now, and the young man who (impatiently) took my order this last time gave irrelevant answers to the two questions I dared to ask. The first server I had set me up by the window to wait and was engaging and friendly. The last one just left me standing awkwardly in the doorway and disappeared. I went and waited in my car because I felt dismissed. I looked for a to go menu I could have for future orders but they dont have any. And I really wanted dessert, and from the reviews I know they have dessert, but it is mentioned nowhere on the menu or anywhere else I could see, and considering I was clearly irritating the server just by ordering lunch, I didnt feel comfortable asking more questions so no baklava for me. The food was the saving grace. Even though it wasnt what I wanted or expected, it was well prepared in generous portions. Still, I won't return. I still dont know how to get the menu item I want from the pictures and am not interested in wasting another 20 bucks to spin that wheel again. Two strikes is enough. Pity, though.
Great meal with amazing apple tea.
This place is sooooooooo good
Great food and a lot of it! Everything tasted very fresh.
A gem of Anchorage. The food and the ambiance was wonderful.
We got to the restaurant and entered . There is a big sign stating to wait to be seated. It is e poling to claim that we seated our self.We did wait until the OWNER SON CAME AND TOOK US TO OUR TABLE AND GAVE US OUR MENU. WE DID CHANGE OUR TABLE SINCE THE ONE WE WHERE SEATED AT WAS TO SMALL FOR US. IT IS APSULUTTLY A LIE OF YOUR STAFF TO POST LIES ON REVIEW. I had a new friend with me and other customers who witnessed all this. I'm not here to argue, i'm simply stating my experience. I will ask my friend to write a review about his experience as well, so your restaurant can attack him to.When this place open first 2 yrs ago it was really your neighborhood new restaurant to go to. By God the service has gone down. We got seated fairly fast, then our server came and brought us our menus. This was lunchtime after 12pm I want you to know. The rush was gone already. Then we sat there and and sat there and sat there and watched our waiter serve everyone else coming thru the door but us. I have been here many times in the past and send many customers to this restaurant, because I was born in Turkey and cook Turkish food myself at my house. I took a lot of new customers to this restaurant before, like I did today. I have noticed that the owner was not very friendly also his daughter and son who also work there was not very welcoming to us. I left my table after 15 min of no approach from anyone to leave the restaurant. Our waitresses approached us as we was almost was out the door and asked us if there was anything wrong. When I tried to explain to her that we where not treated with the same courtesy that she was showing to new customers who came after us, she got upset and got loud. So we defiantly left after that. This is very sad to see that they have lost 2 customers today and every one I referred to this restaurant. It is sad to see that new restaurant will tent to you with high important first when they open, but after the first yr of business will pick there customers who they want to serve first. I'm sad by this experience and would not recommend this place to anyone. I have worked in many restaurants in Europe and America this was my worst experience. To come on a review site and lie is not right.
I have been here twice now and had their chicken, lamb, olives and cheese and the soup! Along with their calamari and rice stuffed grape leaves. The baklava is the best in town. Warm and friendly staff I will always recommend them. They have a very inviting and old time feel to the decor not too loud and noise, like a wonderful home cooked meal by Nana (grandma).
The experience is always a delight
Best Mediterranean food in Anchorage. Lamb chops are exceptionally delicious, as is everything on the menu. Service is top rate and personable. Love this jewel of an eatery.
Great food at reasonable prices. Open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and dinner. You cannot go wrong!
Great service, quite tasty.
A very nice restaurant with good prices and great food. The Iskender Kebab is amazing, definitely my favorite. The baklava is also very tasty and the Turkish coffee is good too. Would definitely recommend to friends. The staff are friendly and courteous, they sometimes get busy so just be patient when the restaurant is full (always a good sign).
We were seated and helped quickly, our server was friendly and informative. We had several different dishes, they were all tasty. Generous portions too.
If you haven't been and you live or passing through Anchorage.. stop stop stop and go eat here you will not be disappointed
Simply amazing food. Authentic Turkish cuisine. This place is truly a hidden treasure in Anchorage, just off lake Otis. It's small, intimate and staff is just amazing.
Wow!! The food has so much great flavor! The donor meet is especially good!
Great food. Sometimes there is a wait but it's definitely worth it.
Some friends and I met up and the table for six was reserved as expected. We sampled many appetizers which were all delicious. The wine and beer selections are top notch. The ambiance was warm and modern with a touch of the Middle East noted by a Turkish rug hung on the back wall. The staff was warm and personable and kept up with the full restaurant of patrons quite well. The entries ordered ranged from the donor and chicken kebabs to meatballs and they were prepared and presented in fine-dining style. We will definitely let friends and co-workers know this is a place worth going to.
Authentic and delicious!! The owner cooks and runs his business with passion and hospitality. We had a great experience here.

The food is wonderful, BUT they never answer their phone, so take out is practically impossible. Obviously they don’t need the additional business, so I will be looking elsewhere in the future. It’s a shame. If they’d just answer their phone.

First time there!!!! I order the chicken kabob absolutely loved it will be back in the future very near that is !!!!!!!!
At dinner, expect to wait for a table. No reservations allowed and only limited space inside the restaurant. With that said between customer service and food, I don't think I have ever had a bad experience here. Excellent food all around and the baklava is always fresh.
Amazing food! The waiter really knows what he's doing too. I've lived in Turkey and I thought the food was pretty close to the real thing. The downside is that it's a little on the pricey side, but it's well worth it.
As soon as I walked into Turkish delight I was greeted by smiling staff. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. The food came quickly, and was incredibly satisfying. I would highly recommend the desserts especially. I was engulfed in the amazing full flavored baklava, and very pleasantly surprised by the flavors that were awaiting me in the Turkish delight dessert.
Delicious food. Elegant ambiance. Hidden gem.
Great atmosphere-very cozy and cute, which I would rate as a five, but the food was expensive and not amazing. I got a kebab sandwich (gyro) and thought it was okay, but not great.
Went in and they told me they were booked up for the night. It was 7:45pm and the close at 9pm...
One of my favorite places to eat! Relaxed atmosphere, nice decor and music. Fantastic food.
Delicious food. Make sure you go when you aren't in a hurry. It's a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a good meal.
Excellent authentic
Delicious, highly authentic Turkish food. Hummus and babaganush were perfect. The calimari special was to die for (not gluten free) and the gyro meat was perfectly spiced.
The service is wonderful and the food is exquisite!
Hmm lamb and eggants.
Delicious Turkish food, nice decor, good service
I ate here once, and it was delicious. The service was very nice, as was the interior and, I guess I'll say it: ambience. I like that the glass of wine I had was not just tasty, but served in a very clean, nice glass (you don't always get that). The lentil soup really hit the spot in January, and my dining partner raved about her salad, which looked wonderful and was huge. Added some cheese and olives and pita bread - a wonderful meal. I'd love to return soon and try a hot dish.
Small and quiet, beautiful interior. I really felt like a guest and not just a patron. Amazing food, large portions and great atmosphere.
New favorite in Anchorage! Everything I have eaten here is amazing.
Floop bobble hums dink. Kiny fort. I'm a sim. Two thumbs up
Is very good here. The food it's very good.
Cute little spot, great food
I love you Turkish delight always perfect
This place is amazing! The food is delicious. Some of the best I’ve had. And the salad is to die for! Definitely recommend
One of my favorite small restaurants in town. Worth the price, authentic Turkish cuisine made fresh in an open kitchen layout. Superb
If you haven’t been here you must! Everything was amazing and the service is outstanding.
Fantastic food! Great service!
I've eaten here several times since they opened. While everything I've had is good, my favorite is the gyros style doner kabob. It comes with a small salad on the side and is consistently fresh, well-seasoned, and delicious. Service is fast, friendly, and efficient. Decor is nice and comfortable. Don't miss Turkish Delight!
Amazing tasting food!! Every single dish we ordered; from appetizers to entrees were a very different and exquisite taste! Very friendly staff and a delightful atmosphere. I'm convinced they will outgrow that place in no time. Highly recommended!!
Delicious and generous meat on the gyros.
Doner was awesome, if a half-way between expensive and affordable. Dmitri provided excellent service and the place was bustling but not at all loud or chaotic, great spot for a lunch meeting, maybe a new favorite in midtown.
Todays lunch time special Turkish Delight! Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming as I entered and the food was ON POINT with what I've had in Turkey. I will return!
Excellent food! The food was fresh, well seasoned and came out hot. The service was friendly and attentive, and they worked the tables as a team. Mom and pop feel with the food made to order!
Food is awesome. The location seems like a hole in the wall however this is one of our favorite restraunts
Menu was expensive for lunch. Lentil soup for $6.50 seemed like the best deal, and was a good size.
Great Middle Eastern restaurant. Staff was friendly and made some recommendations. I dislike eggplant and lamb, but I would eat them here every time.
The food and service was fantastic! We were a group of 7 and all of us enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere.
excellent food, reasonable prices.
Turkish delight was awesome! The food was excellent and the atmosphere was extremely personal.
Love this place. Amazing flavors and interesting dishes. The space feels classy but also homey and welcoming. The staff are nice and accommodating.
Location is a decent. Service is great. Food is fantastic and authentic no western BS. I got the falafel side with doner sandwich and baklava and tea. Ambiance is great too. Will come again
We have eaten there a couple times, and the food and service are excellent. Definitely one of the highlights of Anchorage.
Consistently delicious food! Doner kabob, adana shish kabob, lamb chops are all delicious! Their falafel is good too. They have a delicious apple tea and to finish the meal, their turkish delight is my favorite! The restaurant can be a little warm on a hot day and depending on which staff member stops by, expect one or two to be pretty stand offish, borderline ignoring you. But it doesn't bother the delicious meal and there are other staff members who stop by and are very courteous. They don't answer the phone for to go orders often, so you'll have to order to go at the restaurant and wait, but they bring it out pretty quickly, even if there is a restaurant full of people. I highly recommend this place!
Delicious food and very reasonable prices, cozy and warm atmosphere. The menu is not huge, but anything on it would be an excellent choice - we love coming here!
Great food, but it is somewhat pricey. Service gets slow.
excellent food
Menu is small but the food was really good
Yummy food and good service.
Simply delicate, healthy and delicious. Enjoyed every bite of my lunch.
A delightful place
This is our favorite restaurant in Anchorage! Everything is always so good. Prices are reasonable and you totally get what you pay for. They do have the best lamb in town. Service is always fast, waiters are all attentive. The place is also clean and has nice decors. Needless to say, I like everything about this place.
Good prices. Great food. Friendly staff. Good vegetarian options
Stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. Had the koffta. It was delightful. I've been to Turkey and can say this is the best koffta I've had. Service is friendly but everything is made to order so it's a little wait, but we'll worth it!
Excellent food and atmosphere had the Doner and it brought back memories of a nice little diner in Adana we use to go to.
Ambience is good. Servers are very friendly. Menu isn't that big but food is pretty good. Turkish tea is a must try and I always love the chicken kebab. Turkish delight is a must try if you are in Anchorage area. Oh for forget to get the Turkish delight
Ohhhhhhh my goddddd! Authentic, perfect, melt in your mouth delicious! We had the lamb specials this time, lamb chops and lamb shank. Tender, flavorful, foodgasm
Had a amazing lunch at this place. The Customer service was awesome. The food was spectacular. And my dinner date was beautiful also. I would recommend this spot to any and all.
This was a new find. It will go into the lunch rotation. Great food and great service.
The inside is amazing and cozy and you wouldn't think it would be in a small shopping center tucked away. The food is so good. I've tried the chicken, the dönner, their dolmas is on point. The staff are friendly and make sure you have all you need. Definitely coming back!
FANTASTIC! The food is very good and so is the service. This is a neat little hidden gem in Anchorage that I am very glad I found.
Was cozy and comfortable despite being located in a strip mall stall. The wait staff were friendly and quick. The other patrons when I went were generally early to late middle aged and did not have children with them. The food was nice though not necessarily my most favorite that I have had from that part of the world. Would not say no to going again if friends wanted to head there.
Neat little dining area. Great customer service. Food was prepared in open kitchen and very yummy.
We’ve driven by this restaurant countless times, but had never gone in. What a mistake! All those yummy meals lost - but, alas, we’ve seen the light! Seriously, from start to finish, this place is top notch. The service was very attentive and kind, and every dish we ordered (& we ordered a lot!) was wonderful. Hummus and tahini were delish! The dolmas, chicken skewers & lamb stew were awesome. We were too full for dessert, but have our eye on baklava for next time. And we will be back - soon!!
I am curious if they deliver because of the good reviews asking for a friend
Authentic, in house mouthwatering dolmas and babaganoush
Best kebab in town, dolmas are wonderful, and they have real Turkish tea, too.
Delicious food hidden away in a strip mall. Once inside you'd never guess where you were. The chicken kabob was amazing. Going back.for sure!
Everything we had was delicious. Lamb chops are to die for. Service is OUTSTANDING. Can't wait to go back.
Turkish Delight is by far my favorite restaurant in anchorage. The kebabs are soo good! We been here 3 times now, the staff is always friendly and prompt. Don't be afraid to try a special not on the menu, we order a chicken stew and it was incredible.
My favorite restaurant in Anchorage (and, of course, I am not biased!). Adana kebap, lentil soup, baklava and pudding are my favorite... Cozy and very friendly service ...
Good food and family friendly.
This was my second time eating here and it is amazing. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. I'll be back soon.
