If I can rate a negative star I would. My server had the worst attitude. She rushed our order , mixed our order and messed up our order . She didn't offer us any appetizers , she didn't ask if we wanted any refills till we were ready to pay. She also had a different server rush us to pay out already , really ? I'll be calling in the morning to talk with a manager . Btw, they stole .22 cents as a tip. NEVER I had I ever had a bad experience with TGIF ! Its my happy place with my family on a rough day . Ever washed your hands with your own ice from the soda you've order because they didn't bring a wet towelettes ? I did ! Thanks for the worse experience ever to the two young ladies who wanted to go home so bad. Not that I also notice then talking about me as I watched them both look at me a few times . Expect the call TGIF !

Food was tasty at a fair price and the staff was friendly and reasonably nice. There is a good selection of different things to eat and is located in a busy part of town so you can stop by there if you have business in the area. Everything was average but the "good" kind of average. Nothing was exceptional by any means, but there's nothing wrong with stopping there to grab a bite by yourself or with company.

Dissapointing, I ordered the cheddar bacon omelet burger and the bun was soaked in grease and soggy. It was not toasted like it should have been to pervent the juices (in this case grease) from making the bun soggy. Also the egg that came on the burger looked like like one of thoese pre made egg patties you get from a fast food place. The eggs was rubbery and covered In grease as well. I left with a stomach ache, i would not feed this to my dog. The appetizers were decently good for the price you pay when they're 1/2 off. And the server we had was great

Declining service and food. It used to be super great. But over the years I feel it has declined. Once they couldn't figure out how to do our check for like 45 min. But they ended up comping my meal. I noticed that they dont have "Jack Daniel's" burger or steak now it's just called "whiskey" burger. They over cooked my friends steak multiple times. No medium rare allowed or something. I do still love the servers though they are very nice though. I haven't given up on one of my favorite restaurants yet.

Server was "ok" I thought the food was terrible. Dry mash potatoes served with scallions when I said I was highly allergic, awful steak with no taste and riddled with grizzle, my spouses French dip sandwich was very bar food average with a chintzy amount of bland fries. I haven't eaten in a TGIF in years and I not to again.

Our waitress was really nice! (I didnt get her name =[ ) The food was fast. (We came on a Thursday night) It is kind of spendy $17and some change for the cajun shrimp pasta that was a medium to small sized portion. My chicken strip was huge for the price though and the kids meals were big! It is newly remodled since the last time Ive been there, newer looking menus but the same great food. The other worker actually looked like they were working and not slacking, it looked like a good team. Overall great expierence.

I don't eat at Fridays often, I'm on the other side of town, but do enjoy their food. I really enjoyed the service the other day when I was out with a difficult person to take orders for. Cher the waitress and Don the GM did a great job of handling a difficult customer and did so with a great amount of tact and respect. Thanks again!!

Customer service was awful. Server and serving staff made off color comments and were rude. Took over an hour and a half to receive food on a slow Friday afternoon around 2pm. Food was mediocre in taste when it finally arrived and cool/cold and soggy upon receiving. Wait staff reached over my food to collect dirty dishes from other members in our party.

90 percent of the time its a good place to eat out. Good service, enough tv's for you to watch different things and usually food quality is up there. However the speed in which your food is cooked isn't that great and sometimes for appetizers take forever to make so recommend ordering entree with appetizers.

This is a very clean restaurant, has consistent food and always a friendly & competent wait staff. Good burgers & local beers, reasonable prices. They have chicken, steak, seafood & pasta dishes ranging from $13-25 for most items as well. No Mexican or Italian. Kid friendly but not annoyingly so, also has a child menu and sometimes even balloon animal artists. Business is managed well. Family friendly all around booths and tables are a good size. Clean bathrooms, always. We come to this place every time we're in town.

The servers at Fridays don't just act friendly. If you go often, they often become your friend. Wonderful service. Great ribs. The menu contains everything from appetizers to burgers to chicken to steak to barbeque. My only complaint is that they don't have baked potatoes to go with their upscale food. Enjoy!

The fries were grossly over salted on both our dishes. She sent the manager over and he said he would take care of “it”. We were not looking for a free meal but apparently his offer to take care of “it” meant doing absolutely nothing because the check came at full amount and the server said the manager said to send us the full bill. Whatever, it just more wasted money for subpar service.

Worst service we've ever had. The guy took our order, came back 15 minutes later and said, "just double checking before I put the order in, you guys had the steak?" There were 3 people in our party and none of us had ordered the steak. So we again gave him our order and he said he'd "put a rush on it." After another 25 minutes, our food finally came out and a different waiter brought it to us. We never got our waiter to stop by again and refill our drinks or anything. One member of our party had to take her cup over to the bar for a refill. The guy then brought our bill finally and I had gotten the deal of the day but was still charged full price for my meal. It wasn't even worth waiting for him to come back to dispute it, honestly. We'd have been sitting there another half hour at least. I also have to say that they weren't really busy, it was 8p on a Thursday night. Only reason for the 2 stars is because the food was great!

This was my first visit to TGI Fridays in Alaska, or anywhere as far as I remember. We chose it because of the proximity to the hotel in Anchorage and it's family atmosphere. Actually we didn't know that for sure but the ads seemed to give that impression. We were not disappointed. I, as I often do, chose the nachos even though they're normally listed in the appetizer section. The volume is usually satisfying because I have little self control and this order followed suit. The presentation on the plate was better than any I can remember. I almost didn't want to break up the arrangement but did so enthusiastically. I was extremely satisfied and will visit again if near one. The server was also very knowledgeable and accommodating.

It was toward the end of the night and the food reflected that. I was always taught that the quality of the food should be the same for the the first or last customer. But the door said they close at 10 they called last call for food at 9:15????? Service was not good, too busy socializing with friends rather than attending to customers. Will not return.

Waitress was great but my $15 burger was a disappointing ripoff. Two small shreds of lettuce, a 1-in piece of onion and a 1.5-in thin slice of tomato consisting mostly of inedible core. Two stars only because the shrimp my dining partner ordered was satisfying.

They don't have much for gluten intolerant people but they are one of the only chain's I know of that has gluten free buns for burgers and it was delicious! Gluten free bread isn't always good but I left full and satisfied. It's been about an hour and I feel fine so no hidden gluten in the gluten free items. Again I'm just intolerant so anyone with celiac disease, this post is not meant for you. Cross contamination doesn't bother me that I know of. Still adjusting to my new gluten free diet.

I haven't been here in years, and I would probably not go back. The service was good, and prices aren't too bad, but I wasn't very impressed with the appetizers. The beer cheese was unpleasant to even look at, much less taste! And the server said a lot of people don't like it. The potato skins were bland and greasy. Sadly, I won't go back.

My food was fine, but unfortunately the people I was with had the hardest time getting what they ordered. It took three tries to get the right steak before they just settled. First time was clearly not the right cut of meat, then the second time was right but over cooked and then the third was better but still wrong and forced them to have to get it to go so they could make there movie. Food was TGI Friday's good for dinner service. The service we received was excellent. Our waiter, John, did a great job checking on us and making sure our glasses were kept full and our needs were met. We stayed for quite a while, past John's shift, and after he left we experienced no check-ins (even though we were told someone was going to check in), and something rambunctious going on could be heard very loudly from the kitchen several times as employees jeered on someone.

Showed up today, Sunday 29 September at around 12:50 . Do understand that this is NOT a sports bar so there should have been no reason for the poor service. The dining area was at least half empty. After we were seated it took at least fifteen minutes before we had to find someone to serve us. The greeter actually spoke to the person and said "we were just seated". Apparently for some reason she thought we were. The greeter was ok, but apparently forgot us. We gave the waitress the coupon that does NOT state that they are not good in Alaska. If you read the coupon it says no such thing. She made no mention of this is before we ordered. Just so you know, we had used one on a previous visit for a lunch and had no issues. Our lunch was 82.62 for the five of us. I chose to tip the young lady well. I would love to come back because the food has always been good. Weirdly, there was a man that was blowing up balloon animals walking around the restaurant that gave us more attention than the waitress/waiter. Not sure why he was there, but did not help the atmosphere at all, I was not at Chuck E Cheese. I am not sure if there was management there, but on a slow day we should have been very happy with the service.. ummm, not so much. It was slow, awkward and slightly demeaning. I hope you take the time to reevaluate what a patron may want when they walk into your restaurant.

Very poor service. I was just one table, right next to another with customers and the only 2 tables with customers in the outside dining area and I was completely ignored. My order was never taken or was i even asked if i needed anything. I felt discriminated against.

Had dinner and drinks with friends... We were all happy with our drinks. Our appetizers were good. We got spinach artichoke dip, chicken strips in whiskey sauce (they were great), and buffalo wings (I will ask for them well done next time). Dinner was not as great. The sides were decent but the steaks were less than quality cut. I got a sirloin and my husband got the ribeye. They were both tough. They should have been juicy at a med cook. The service was on the slower side of good but the server was nice enough. Will go back for apps and drinks, but not for dinner.

Outdoor seating! TGI Friday's a great place to eat dinner. They have plenty of booths for large families, tables for small groups in the bar, and outdoor seating for those warm sunny days. Nearly anything you can think of is on the menu here and I believe all the food tastes good to great. Sadly the food isn't always correct or cooked the way you'll like it. We attempted to dine at the Anchorage location on 6/22/19 at 4:35. We were seated near the door. After 10 minutes no server even greeted us. The table behind us sat down after us, and a server visited that table twice. At the hostess station there were 2 employees chatting, we told them that no server would help us. They had no response and simply kept chatting on company time. That's 3 employees who ignored us. Don't come here if you want to spend money or eat.

it was my favorite restaurant and now Every time i go is getting worse the management SUCKS people are getting louder and the manager are not doing anything about it and is very uncomfortable to relax and enjoy your meal TGIF you loose me as a customer

Would give zero stars for this ..but as we know it’s not possible. Went in with a co worker. Ordered separate meals separate checks. Come to find out checks were swapped I needed up paying for a meal not mine at a Much higher rate. Mind you I’m here for work and traveling, called them spoke to the manager advised sorry nothing I can do it’s only blank dollar difference. Claims they can’t cancel the order and charge the correct amount. Completely disgusting customer service . So thanks bartender Brittany for messing up something simple.

Everone knows about this place because the parking lot is usually full. The food is good and the price is fair for what you get. Had a long wait here the last time we ate here which may explain the parking lot. It is one of the few remaining restaurants I will go to here in Anchorage. My favorite is the Jack Daniel's sauce. Lots of healthy vegetable options to go with your meal. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable.

I have been to many TGI Fridays and it’s always been good. However this place is otherwise. Burger tasted just alright Chicken texture was weird Mashed potatoes had eyelashes and a hair in it Fries was warm but not fresh Milkshake was watery Usually in any place, if you show a hair on the food they will not charge you for that. If you say the food tastes different they will offer to change or bring something else. But they didn’t do any of that. I gave 1 Star because the waiter was kind.

The atmosphere is really great with a 19th Century Roadside Inn kind of decor. The staff are polite and attentive and the food is amazing. A place to visit for a casual as well as a formal dine in.

Nice atmosphere. Had chips and artichoke dip and buffalo ranch flatbread. Both were delicious and fresh.
