This Restaurant belongs to the category of Breakfast restaurant.
Visited on a Sunday morning before 8 and we were sat immediately. The service was great and the food came out quickly. I had the Kodiak Benedict and it was fantastic. By the time we left the place was packed with a line waiting to be sat. Really enjoyed this place and would definitely visit again.
The best breakfast and lunch in Anchorage! The Kodiak Benedict is simply amazing!
Another one of downtown Anchorage’s must-eat spots. I’d suggest the crab omelette. Expect a crowd though. Especially during summer.
Must visit if you are in anchorage. Undoubtly the best restaruant cafe in the area. Egg benedicts are a must try here
We wanted to check why the buzz about this place. The waiting time was 1 hour and 15 minutes, too long for me but we found something else to do meanwhile. Once was our turn we were very pleased with the food and good service. Definitely one of the best places in Anchorage to have brunch.
Great place! Order took too long because lots of cruise people there.
So, this place lives up to the hype.. and fully agree with the 5 stars. Salmon cakes, mushroom omelets were outstanding- the kitchen knows what they are doing. Coffee is excellent. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. Make reservations or get here early. Service is excellent.
It's great! There is most likely going to be a line of people but that's because the food is so good! Prices are also very reasonable! I love it.
Food was good, not great. The bacon and raspberry jam were incredible but the breakfast burrito was underwhelming.
Great breakfast and lunch spot on the west end of downtown Anchorage, been going here for years. Very local feel, nice and bright. Many classic brunch items, but also healthy options, as well as some with a local flair, Kaladi Brothers espresso menu is a bonus. Excellent service always, recommend making reservations at popular times.
This place is excellent! Breakfast sandwich with a cappuccino.
I cannot say enough good things about this place!! The staff are incredibly nice and the food is seriously delicious! We were visiting from the Northeast and told to go here by hotel staff. After going one time we were hooked and went back three more times before our stay ended. If I lived in Anchorage I would be there everyday.
This is a regular go-to place for me. They have so many tempting options and good vegan choices too. The blueberry coconut latte was delicious, I hope they make it part of the regular menu. YUM!
Always love eating here for brunch and coffee. Great service and great food
Amazing breakfast food and super cute restaurant with great ambiance! The stuffed French toast with orange cream cheese and raspberry butter are O.M.G.
Not too much to say except I was bummed out it was closed on this holiday when my mama and I wanted to eat brunch!
The menu is a bit "new age", so may not be everyone's cup of tea. The restaurant is clean, and service was very good. I enjoyed my meal and would visit again.
The Polar Bear Breakfast with reindeer sausage. SO GOOD! Went on a Sunday morning, so expected it to be very busy. Waited about 45 minutes to be seated. Once we ordered, our food was out very quickly. The quality of food was outstanding and service was great! Call ahead for a seat if you can!
Make a reservation and be prepared to still wait for a table. It’s a formality. Otherwise, I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. Great food and drinks.
It's no wonder you have to make reservations the day before! All the breakfast dishes are delicious and presented beautifully. Our party loved the French toast.
As a former employee, I would highly recommend this place as a "must see" for anyone visiting Anchorage. Good food, great service! Vegetarian, and vegan dishes available. Also, the building across from this restaurant is the site of the only "car bombing" in Anchorage that I can think of.
Good food allways busy place with a line most days thats a good sign of a restaurant.
A real "Go To" for friends, family, and visitors. Excellent service, reliably tasty food, great coffee.
Fantastic breakfast options... You can't really pick something wrong here. Gigantic pancakes and french toast is amazing. They're both served with some great raspberry butter, which i find that i can't live without now. Every time that i have went the service has been wonderful and the people very friendly, even when it's jam packed and they gotta be fast, they still make you feel welcome. The wait is long, but take a walk around the area and it's not too bad.
Great food. Great service!
Good breakfast food. Hashbrowns were very salty and coffee was weak. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Apple pie pancakes were amazing!
Absolutely delicious! Make a reservation before you go, as it is typically packed
Delicious food. We loved the seafood options incorporated into breakfast. Very busy- it was a 50 minute wait on a Friday morning. We enjoyed a latte, that also took 10-15 minutes to be completed.
Be ready for a wait. But boy is it worth it! Great food, great staff, great atmosphere! The hash browns are so fantastic! Highly recommended!
Very busy, but good food and great coffee. Reasonable prices.
Great food and service, always busy so expect to wait.
The service was professional and friendly. The food was made in a quick manner. I will be coming back for the service and immaculate food.
Yummy food! The wait is always worth it! Creative rotating drinks!
One of the best meals I had in Anchorage so far, amazing quiche and crab cakes. Loved the bacon and syrup as well from the meal. Had the root beer float as well.
Made a reservation would recommend to do so it's a bustling place! Food was great, big portions. Terrific staff friendly and helpful!
The service is quick and friendly for such a busy place. The menu is massive and will please anyone, but I settled on salmon cakes with eggs, hash browns, and toast. There is a hot sauce bar which will burn your mouth good, so be careful, haha! Lastly, there is an extensive espresso menu as well. This place is definitely a winner.
Deeply engrained layer of grime over floor; needs a good power wash. And of course while walking in and eating there was a days worth of dirt and food-yuck. Mediocre service. From the unfriendly greeting to the ok service during our time there. I ordered 3 times to be told they were all out. In the end I told the waitress to choose my meal because I gave up on what to choose. I had to ask for napkins and SILVERWARE to eat-thought that would be a standard- but guess not. Manager was told of my lack of meal options-she only boasted about how much money they made for that day. Manager offered a dessert but of course we never got anything. They were clearly not prepared for the weekend or the holiday. Not worth it. The only good thing was the hummus platter- but honestly you can get that right from the supermarket. Will never recommend or go again
My favourite breakfast brunch place in Anchorage! Great food huge portions and tasty coffee. “America!”
Our favorite place to eat when in town. Great service and delicious food. Gluten free options on the menu. Never had a bad experience.
Great Kodiak Benedict! Long wait, but it was delicious.
Tasty breakfast with awesome friendly staff.
Great service - exceptional coffee and awesome food. Enjoyed the crab omelette and had 3 cups of coffee. Went early around 7am to avoid a line
Service was excellent! Food was very Good! Open restraunt, clean and very friendly.

Awesome local breakfast cafe. It is a must if you are in the area, get there early though as it’s always busy. Great organic healthy options to!

Handsdown the best meal I've had in Anchorage so far. I had "The Deadliest Catch" (1 crab cake eggs Benedict + 1 smoked salmon eggs Benedict) with a chai latte and pecan sticky bun. Left the cafe BEYOND stuffed, the food was DELICIOUS. My only complaint would be the prices, but then again, real crab and smoked salmon doesn't come cheap. So even though it's a "diner", expect to pay a little more than you'd expect (my bill came out to about $30).
This place is excellent! Breakfast sandwich with a cappuccino.

Snow City Cafe is packed every morning for a reason! Quality food, plenty of it, unique dishes, healthy choices, fantastic wait staff, and the time it takes to get your meal is blazing fast! Unlike a lot of breakfast spots, they do take reservations, so it is worth calling ahead if you can. When they are slammed, they reserve rhe right to bump your party if you aren't all there when your seating is called. Give them a try, their tater tot quiche is ridiculously good, as are any of the eggs benny options❤

Our favorite place to eat when in town. Great service and delicious food. Gluten free options on the menu. Never had a bad experience.
My number one favorite breakfast restaurant in Anchorage. Their food is absolutely wonderful! I ordered a wild mushroom burger with a side of rye toast and my husband a burrito. A few other dishes to try are the stuffed French toast, their huge pancakes and their cinnamon rolls!
Great Kodiak Benedict! Long wait, but it was delicious.
Tasty breakfast with awesome friendly staff.

We have been customers for years! I noticed new staff at the counter. Short lady with curly hair has mAde me an ex customer! She was so rude to my Daughter today, I will never return. When we checked in they gave us a buzzer, they said wait was an hour. We waited & waited buzzer didn’t go off! My daughter in Law went to check on it and the girl said she didn’t come tell her we were all here. But she failed to tell that to her when she gave the buzzer. She was so rude and said they kept skipping us for past 30 minutes. We left! The short curly haired lady needs customer service classes!!!
Great food and Connie I was really friendly and helpful.
Awesome food and great service. You have to get their early, or it's a wait. It's worth the wait though...
This is a must if you are in town. There is always a wait, but completely worth it. Service was great. Food was amazing.
Great place with great staff. It can be busy, best time is always early in the work week. Parking can be rough and dont forget to pay as I was warned the parking meters are well watched. Food is amazing, great Eggs Benedict with many options.
Super long wait but the food was amazing! Had some smoothies, eggs benedict, turkey melt, and a BLTA. Everything was awesome. Service was great too.
Atmosphere is great, the breakfast is on point, service is wonderful.
We had an amazing brunch here on the last day of an Alaska trip. Staff and service was so friendly, the wait was not too long, and the food was everything we had dreamed of while eating Annie's mac while camping... Highly recommend whatever special pastries they have. Also be prepared for a lot of potatoes...
Great place with awesome breakfast! We had a Family breakfast before some of us headed to airport. Very fast service. But very loud place. Be ready not to be able to hear person in front of you.
Love their food! We go for breakfast most of the time. Stuffed French toast, or build your own omelet...oh yes please!
Good food, but the wait can be very long.
First I loved the fun atmosphere. It's open and colorful. The food was phenomenal. The waiter was attentive and super aware of my interest. He was great. I highly recommend this place.
Food was great, server was good. Nice experience.
This is a must if you are in town. There is always a wait, but completely worth it. Service was great. Food was amazing.
Lovely experience! Food was bomb and service excellent. We enjoyed the sticky buns, deadliest Cath and Vegas baby omelette. I highly recommend the raspberry butter too. A must for any Anchorage tourists!
Great place for breakfast! Busiest on weekends. Great food and coffee!
Excellent, original and eclectic Alaskan menu. Downtown and great for visitors!
We stopped by here for brunch on one of our days during our Alaska trip. The best part was that they have self service drip coffee with mugs for you to drink while you waited, especially since it was cold. The not so good part was that there is always a wait and it was really cold. Unless you come very early or you have the patience and time to wait, it's not the best place to eat. We still wanted to try it so we got it to go and ate it right outside where they have picnic tables. I think we would've enjoyed it even more if it was inside somewhere warmer. The food was okay and my latte was too sweet. It's located in a corner that can't be missed and the inside looks like a very cute diner. I would recommend it to anyone who has the time to wait and eat inside.
Popular but be prepared to wait longer than you might think
Rude and not helpful. Didn't even wind up eating the overpriced food.
Great breakfast and wonderful atmosphere! Hope to make it back for lunch while in Anchorage.
Ahhh, the Snow City Cafe. I only wish we could have something like this in the lower 48. You might have to wait, but that is worth every minute. I have been here a few times and was never ever dissatisfied. They are extremely child friendly, patient, and helpful. The food is awesome unless you are on a diet...but I am sure they might guide you for lower calorie foods. Once seated, relax, be mindful if anyone is waiting but no worries here because you can hurry off or just relax. It is your choice. The ?kodiak Benedict? Did I say that correctly? Anyway, this is ridiculously delicious and very filling. And there are other dishes that do the same. The wait staff is very accommodating to your kids and to you. I have to go to Google Maps often to look at Snow City. Such a fantastic place!
Amazing. Staff is super friendly and the food is P E R F E C T. My girlfriend laughed at me for ordering the basic pancake, but it was perfect. Ordered my eggs over medium and they were perfect. Totally understand why there was a line outside before they even opened. Worth it!
Very bad chai latte. Please try another brand, BIG TRAIN is yummy. Friendly service, though.
This place is so dang good. I ate so much there. Its really good for vegetarians or other diet restrictions. Great place to eat and hang out.
Such a good breakfast! There can be a but if a wait but so worth it
Super service with top notch cuisine at every menu choice
Nice building, very busy expect to wait about an hour. Coffee pots, sugar, variety of different milks and creams available for you while you wait (bring coffee with you when you're seated, waitress will add to your bill).Lots of Benedict choices including crab and salmon looked great. Reindeer sausage best my husband had this week. I ordered polar bear breakfast with multigrain French toast, bacon, eggs and add blueberries for a dollar, it was surprisingly tasty !
Amazing food! Fantastic service. I would recommend getting there as early as you can, it got very busy. Pancakes as big as the plate, real maple syrup, the toast and preserves on the table were the best we have ever had (commenting on toast? It was that good with or without the raspberry jam). We would come back to Anchorage just to visit Snow City!
Great place to eat. I would definitely go back! Their omelets are out of this world!
Love love love this place, any time I have out of states friends visiting, I bring them here. The food is great and totally worth the wait. The only thing is every time I have come I receive this one particular waitress. I have received dirty looks and have watched her take tables from other waitresses just for a tip. She one time saw all of our empty plates and walked away to sit and chat with someone at a table. We had to wait 30 mins. Once again I do love this place but it does kill the vibe for my out of friend states when they visit to have a waitress treat them passive aggressively.
Very busy, long wait, call ahead, great food and service.
Pretty awesome place. Good coffee and breakfast stuff until closed.
Good food but be prepared for a long wait until you're seated.
Good food and service. Make a reservation to get in faster during lunch. :)
Absolutely LOVE this place. Always worth a wait. Music is always spot on, the hot sauce bar is an excellent addition. The eggs Benedict cannot be beaten.
Great food, very interesting menu, and long I mean very long lines, be prepared to wait over an hour for to be seated, but you won’t regret
Breakfast for the ages. 1 hour wait and after my meal was over I would have waited 2 or more hours. This is one you have to try if you are in Anchorage.
Good food very good service. But a very popular place 45 minutes wait.
Waited 50 mins for 2 people for a table. Was seated at a 2 person table, which has another 2 person table right beside it (connected) with another pair. Extremely awkward and not worth the wait. Not to mention the large amount of other couples seated at 4 person tables. If you're going to make us wait 50+ minutes, I deserve my own table!
We have been customers for years! I noticed new staff at the counter. Short lady with curly hair has mAde me an ex customer! She was so rude to my Daughter today, I will never return. Rude and not helpful. Didn't even wind up eating the overpriced food.
Snow City Cafe is fine. My experience was nothing that would blow your socks off or warrant a 5 Star rating. The food is good..not great. You won't walk away disappointed, but you also won't walk away with your eyes rolling back in your head. I think this place is more about the alllure and not necessarily the food.
Great breakfast and wonderful atmosphere! Hope to make it back for lunch while in Anchorage.

Have had breakfast here twice and both times everything tasted great. Service is fine, but parking can be hard to come by and wait times can be long during breakfast/brunch hours. I have recommended this place to visiting friends and family and they all have had good experiences. This place is a safe bet for an above average meal at a fair price.
This place is so dang good. I ate so much there. Its really good for vegetarians or other diet restrictions. Great place to eat and hang out.

Good food and a busy brunch crowd made this a fun place to have some tasty eats. Portions were large and food was comfort style. An Anchorage institution.
Good breakfast! Love the help yourself coffee while waiting and the random coffee mugs. Busy atmosphere as well.
Great menu and food, very popular place. Always seems to be waiting line for tables. Good protein smoothies. Cheerful service.
Just to die for. The stuffed French toast was out of this world. Great service..
Great breakfast food! The crab omelette was heaven! Loved this place! Coffee selections were great.
Make a reservation or expect to wait for a table. Consistently busy tourist spot. Excellent food and coffee. Never had a bad meal, just would never show without a reservation. Stays busy winter and summer. Limited street parking.
I can see why this place is so popular. great menu excellent food and service.
We waited 60 MINUTES to be seated on a Friday! Our server was very nice, but the meal was not. My Ship Creek Benedict of smoked salmon cakes was very fishy and not very good. There was no smokiness, needed more hollandaise, and I put a lot of hot sauce to try to make it better, something I don't do. I was sorry to have ordered it. My husband's Wild Mushroom Omelet seemed to be made with regular mushrooms and the amount of garlic overpowered the experience. Also, he doesn't like garlic, so it ruined it for him, too. There was less tea than in a store-bought teabag in both of our cups, so they were very weak. Our favorite part of the meal was the sourdough bread (not really toasted, so not really Toast) with raspberry jam. Very disappointing and in no hurry to go back.
Stumbled into this place for breakfast. The service and food here are excellent! Ended up coming back for breakfast the next morning as well!
The hash browns are unforgettable and crave-worthy!
The vibe of this place is so colorful and busy, which is fun. We went for lunch to-go, and had about a 30 minute wait for the food. They have a nice bench set-up outside which is nice. We got the Fourth Avenue Special sandwich, fiesta and Mediterranean bowls, and the Impossible cheeseburger. The Impossible burger didn't taste like meat, but it was good. I also loved the Mediterranean bowl. The fiesta bowl was a bit too spicy for me though.
Great food, friendly staff. Deserving of it's reputation for breakfast.
Loved it. Excellent customer service and the biscuits and gravy were fantastic!!
Food was delicious, service was great! I suggest reservations because the food is so good it is very popular. Eggs Benedict over crab cakes were my choice. Not disappointed at all!
This is the best breakfast restaurant you could ever go to... although it was Sunday and a 45 min wait it was worth it... you get free coffee and seating as you wait. Best eggs benedict ever with crab cake instead of bacon underneath... had to take with it a fabulous huge cinnamon bun each for next day... Staff were so nice and kept coming with the coffee and water.
Would be 5 stars if not for the very long wait time! Came down from Fairbanks, extremely long wait - over an hour for breakfast. But the wait is justified, if you have time, as the food is incredibly good. Just make sure you have plenty of time! Nice staff too!
I've thoroughly enjoyed both the original eggs benedict and the breakfast burrito in my two visits to Snow City. Their service is fast, attentive, and friendly. Since this is a hot spot here in Anchorage, my suggestion is to show up when they open. Otherwise, there may be a wait. If you're a party of one, there is seat yourself bar seating that turns over pretty fast.
Really glad we stopped in here, nice atmosphere and really good food. A little pricey but not enough to turn people away looking for a great breakfast and a treat.
Oh heck, this place is to die for! Anything and everything is superior and so worth the wait. They even provide self serve coffee while waiting. Just go. There will only be happiness, as a result
Good Diner food, not quite sure why all the hype. Pecan roll and cinnamon roll lived up to it though.
Fun! Noisy! Great menu selections! Worth the wait!
Delicious food, great service, great coffee. There's a reason this place is always so packed, you should always get a reservation.
All I can say is...WOW!!! This place has made this southern girl feel very welcome. The food here is AMAZING and the people are so friendly!!! We ate here every morning for 5 days and we were greeted and welcomed like family. It’s hard to say what to eat, because everything is delicious! I will say the stuffed French toast is delicious!! My fiancé LOVED the biscuits and gravy. The Snow City Cafe is a MUST to go and eat at when you are in the area. If you have to wait....you need to wait, because everything in life that taste this good is worth waiting for!!! ❄️
Based on reviews, I am sure it is a great place. However, I may never know. They accepted my reservation and even sent me a confirmation for date and time. Guess what...they weren't even open on the 4th, the date I scheduled. Disappointing way to start the holiday weekend. I hope they fix this on their system.
Yum. Yum and Yum. Eggs Benedict was great. Enjoyed every bite. Hollandaise was perfect. Coffee was HOT! Just the way I enjoy it.
Skip this place and go to the taco stand across the street. Snow city was a 45min wait to eat something that tasted like a Costco re-heat item. The taco stand was less than half that for some legit Alaskan styled huevos rancheros and breakfast tacos.
Great spot for breakfast. Open earlier than most other restaurants in the area. The staff is very friendly and there is bar seating available for those in a hurry. Tables also available but can be a long wait when busy. The food is great and very quick to arrive.
Service was excellent. Food very good. Prices reasonable.
Liked the "deadliest catch" crab and salmon cake Benedict. Good service, got in before the rush for breakfast.
Very busy and popular. Food good. Waiting 40 minutes to get a table.
We went to Snow City Cafe for breakfast and had an excellent experience. The food was great and our server was friendly.
It's good but not so good that you should wait in line for a seat
THE spot to go for brunch in Anchorage, although I probably shouldn't post that as the lines can already be pretty long. That said, they have waiting buzzer things now, so it's not as bad to hang around for your table. The omelettes and soups and salads are phenomenal. They have a hot sauce bar too, which ... is just nice to have. Staff are always friendly and the vibe is comfortable at any time of year! Very kid-friendly too.
Amazing place with great food and friendly service, though don't be late for breakfast or there might be a slight wait..!
Delicious crab omelet, crab eggs Benedict , and mocha frappuccinos. Suggest making a reservation. Wait as a walk in can be an hour long.
We had about a 20 min wait, it was nice to get a cup of coffee while waiting. The food was worth the wait. I had "deadliest catch" Benedict and it superb!
This place looked amazing and everyone we talked to or overheard talk about the food were very complementary.
Decent portions at reasonable prices (for downtown). They have weekly specials that you don't see on their website. We had the Reindeer Sausage Reuben and the Quiche. Both were tasty. The service was prompt and friendly. Inside, it's much larger than expected; bright and open with comfortable seating.
Awesome food. Quick service. Bit of a wait but it was absolutely worth it.
Delicious Breakfast Options very fresh and filling. Definitely a must have while in Anchorage!!
Great food, great atmosphere, excellent staff, quirky hot sauce bar where they have a selection of, you guessed it, hot sauces to choose from. Biscuits and gravy are phenomenal and the Kodiak scramble was delicious!
Great place for breakfast. Fast service with local flair.
Good food and a busy brunch crowd made this a fun place to have some tasty eats. Portions were large and food was comfort style. An Anchorage institution.
The food was awesome and plenty of it and reasonable

Made reservations last week, when I arrived she told me she couldn’t seat me until my entire part arrived. Made me sit and wait for 25 minutes because they gave our reserved table away. Totally unprofessional, Benedict was soggy and slopped together. Very disappointed.
One of the best breakfast places in Anchorage! Their food is fantastic and well worth the wait. I recommend making reservations when possible because it's no secret that their food is so good

They have egg and dairy substitutes that actually taste good and I didnt have to worry about my bestie getting sick or needing an epi
Great place for breakfast. Fast service with local flair.
Best brunch in town. Hands down.
Very, very crowded. Really worth the wait.
Best place in town for breakfast. Try the stuffed French toast
One of the best breakfast places in town but make sure to get there a little early on the weekends because there will be a bit of a wait. One of the things I love is you can order from the bakery while you wait and they have self serve coffee too! Love this place.
As good as snow city cafe you have to be prepared to wait. We always are but not like today! 1 3/4 hours to wait for a table for seven is ridiculous! Poor organization, continually seating smaller groups of 4 or 2 is no excuse! We had one person to had to leave and skip lunch or maybe call it early dinner! It will be a long time before I go back to Snow City Cafe and even longer before I recommend it! Service was good, food was alright.
Go for the eggs Benedict. You'll be surprised at how good they are. I dont usually get them, but they were great. Get a big pancake on the side too.
Definitely an awesome breakfast spot. I had the deadliest catch, which is a salmon cake and crab Benedict, and it was amazing. The place was packed like other reviewers mentioned but I found a spot at the bar. Service was good despite the crowd and plan on spending some time there if you dont have reservations..I would recommend planning ahead if there's a few people in your party. Coffee is good here as well and they mix up some pretty good looking concoctions behind the bar. I'll be back for sure!
Good food, have vegan option, good coffe and pretty big portions, but a long wait, we waited over 30 minutes for a table.
Set inside an eclectic atmosphere, Snow City has a great spread of well-priced comfort food and coffee (and mimosas!) served up by a fast and friendly staff.
Had the veganized huevos rancheros which was delicious. They subbed out the eggs for tofu, no cheese, and gave me extra guacamole instead of sour cream. Everyone’s food around me looked delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly.
I didn't try any other breakfast places in Anchorage, but this place stacks up against the best breakfast places I've tried in major cities in the lower 48. Definitely worth the wait.
I love the tomato soup so much. Next time I'm taking photos. I was so hungry this morning I just dug in. Just trust me on this place being worth it. It's always packed so it's good to reserve or the wait will take a bit. Their coffees are good, and cocktails. So frickin good.
Food and service was great!! We made a reservation and we were seated shortly after everyone in our party arrived. Definitely make a reservation to avoid wait time since it seems to get busy.
The breakfast was good and they can do lunch as well
Well worth the wait! Great coffee, great food!
The food was good, and the place looks nice. We had to wait a little for a table.
Great hot beverages and food! The breakfast burrito hit the spot with the green chili being mildly spicy with good flavor. Don't expect a smothered green chili burrito from NM but this one here is pretty darn tasty for an Alaskan version. Excellent service with a pleasant atmosphere.
Very good food and excellent service!
Nothing worth waiting 45+ min for. The food was ok but I felt it was similar to Village Inn. The waitress was amazing and very friendly and I got a hot chocolate while sitting there for a table and it was amazing. I would not recommend this place to my friends for brunch as I feel there are many other options with better food and no wait time.
Totally worth the wait! Super friendly staff and great food. Save room for a pecon roll! Thankfully they serve breakfast all day.
Servers here are amazing. Very patient and willing to work with dietary restrictions. Some good options if you're on a vegan options
Fun and cosy restaurant. Lots of gluten free options.
Good food. Great service, prepare for a bit of a wait. Worth it!
Service and food were outstanding. Real crab meat in the omelet !
This Cafe is busy, and for good reason. It’s bright and clean, and really, really good. There’s self serve drip coffee at the door. Brilliant. Offerings are cleverly created and named, drawing you in to read the entire menu. Who doesn’t want to try Rainbow Toast, a Snow Monkey, or a Polychrome smoothie? The waitstaff are clearly pros. They work together like caring family, serving the public, seemingly unconcerned that if one sees you need something, they jump to it. They aren’t bothered that’s you’re not their table. All these things together provided a fabulous breakfast and a delightful welcome to Anchorage.
The food was delicious and the service was quick and very good. I'll definitely have to come back
The menu is amazing, well priced and with great food. Service is amazing. However, it's always busy so set a reservation ahead of time!
First, and foremost, make an online reservation. Otherwise, you will wait for an undetermined time. Even a resident didn't know you could make reservations. He and his family have always shown up and waited. Street parking is limited. There is a lot across the street that requires a credit/debit card to park. It was $6 for the 1st hour. Now about the food. It was very good, and you won't go home hungry. Their pancakes are larger than the plate. There is a great selection of foods. Note: They are only open for breakfast and lunch. Plan accordingly. And I recommend starting with a homemade cinnamon roll with their cream cheese icing. Consider sharing or save for later. Btw, I am not a coffee drinker (don't judge). They have a coffee and espresso bar with some baked goods for there or to go.
Great local restaurant with excellent staff. Prepare for a short wait.
I highly recommend this place. The food was delicious. So good we came back for seconds. Very friendly staff. Loved it here.
Best breakfast (in the afternoon) I've had in a long time! Folks were super friendly and you can tell it's a local favorite! Can imagine it gets pretty busy at popular times. Highly recommend - try the butterscotch milkshake!
Food was fantastic and our server was amazing! (she had light purple hair that matched her nail polish) She seemed to know what we wanted before we even told her. She gave us great options like swapping french toast for regular toast (OBVIOUSLY we did this). Also the coffee drinks, hot sauce selection and table jam were superb. (They even have real maple syrup). Snow City Cafe FTW!
Wow the food was good. We are visiting from Connecticut and stopped here for the brunch because they had mimosas. There was a 25 min wait at 10:30 but it went quickly and you have access to the coffee bar while you wait. Our server was very attentive and helpful as I wanted to explore the “can be made vegan” option. I got the Nuevo Huevos (picture below). Best veggie/vegan breakfast I have had in a while! Definitely recommend.
Pretty sweet hippster breakfast spot. Probably the best breakfast spot in Anchorage. I recommend the stuffed french toast and raspberry cream coffee
The Eggs Benedict are excellent! Coffee is pretty good too! Service is outstanding!

Very good food and excellent service!
Great place for breakfast! Great food with service to match. Linnaea was our server and she is wonderful! A coworker recommended we make reservations and glad we did. I had the veggie omelet which was great and the coffee is very good! The restaurant was crowded but did feel rushed. Great experience and look forward to my return.

The pancakes are plate size and super fluffy! I also had an excellent omelette! Very nice waitress today.
