Amazing!!! Great service from our waiter, Jackie W. Went for my wife's birthday while visiting Anchorage. I got the large size King Crab Legs; the meat was sweet and tasty. She got the Prime Rib. Seasoned perfectly, and tasted out of this world. She got the sweet/tart key lime pie. I would highly recommend this place for a special dinner.

Mike Swinson

Absolutely incredible food. We just stopped by for lunch and were not disappointed. The bloody Mary was quite good. Just enough spice without it being to overpowering. The clam chowder and salmon bisque were delicious. Creamy and full bodied. The club sandwich was good. Typical club sandwich. Nothing fancy. BUT... The crab cake sandwich was something to write home to Mom about! I've traveled all over the world, grew up on the east coast where we take seafood seriously but this.... This crab sandwich is the best I've ever had by far. It melts in your mouth! Made with rock crab meat. Folks... Do yourself and your soul a favor and order the crab sandwich. You will not regret it.

Joe Weessies

This was amazing. You have to come here to get the cheek halibut. Then complete the meal with the baked Alaska. Service is amazing. The view is amazing. And the food even better. A real good place to have a nice dinner.

Elisha Waugh

Great place for happy hour. The bar over looks the inlet with fantastic views. The food is also really good. It is a little bit steep on the price, but the experience over all is worth it.

Gary Burton

Amazing food and the service was really good also.

debra corbin

Fresh, delicious meal. Noisy restaurant....we could not talk. Sunset so bright, that we could not see. Good waiter. Celebrating my sister's birthday, & the end of our cruise, so a special day. In short, good meal, but lacking in ambiance.

Michelle Webber

this has got to be the best happy hour in town. skip the long waits between 3-6 and head straight up the saloon for excellent appetizers at nearly half the price of their regular menu items. the sweet potato fries and the BBQ sauce on the side were to die for. fried calamari was excellent as well, and drinks were very good. service was fantastic and personable.

Craig & Debbie Korzenowski

Absolutely great food and service and reasonably priced considering it is in Anchorage, Alaska. Mackey did a great job recommending and providing great service.

Serving sizes have shrunk over the years. Menu needs Abit of an overhaul.

Good food but service makes cannot deserve five stars

Ryan Farrell

Was looking forward to dining at Simon's based on the reviews of great food and view. Set a reservation for 8, with a note requesting a window table. Arrived to a table in the back corner with a view of mirrors and the emergency exit. Now enjoying a meal at 49th State.

Theresa Philbrick

cocktails at simons, get there early get a table by the window. drinks and food a bit pricey, but if you order the fresh fish or crab legs you'll not be disappointed. Chowder is tasty too. The dip and bread appetizers are just that...dip and bread, soaks up alcohol okay, but not very tasty.

Charish Amancio

My boyfriend and I had our anniversary dinner her. It was our first time to dine and try their food. It was delicious! The staff is awesome. Jessie is the best!

Samantha Byrd

The only thing I disliked was how loud the bar was, but it's a bar at happy hour. I ordered from their signature cocktail list, so I didn't get an actual happy hour drink, but it might have been the best cocktail I've ever had. My date and I ordered the steak tips and the brioche burger and both were absolutely delicious. As soon as I have the opportunity, I will be returning!

Dan Wagenseller

Fine dinning overseeing the lake great food

lisa fender

Food was amazing and we saw belugas!

Mario Häring

Friendly waiter and fantastic food! The crab and macadamia nut filled halibut was out of this world

Jane Lee

We came here for a family birthday dinner and the food and service were both exceptional, did not disappoint at all. Yes it was fairly busy but we had our waiters check up on us in good timing. My only comments is that the seafood in the carpaccio was a bit firm and the French onion soup was very salty, very much like a broth. The ribs were very tender and the spread for bread was amazing.

Dan Tripp

Been a few times. Service regaurdless of volume seems slugish. Food is good but never really inspires any joy as it just kinda fills you up. I am okay with returning with friends and family but only on occasion. Place seems to have more potential but lacks execution. Great view fom the dining area and interesting artwork in the bar area. Can be a fun spot to hang out especially if you take advantage of their appetizer special.

Island Girl

awesome food!! quality drinks!! relaxing atmosphere......and excellent desserts selection....especially red velvet ice cream

Margaret Wiltfong Tovrea

Recommended with confidence. An Anchorage favorite that never disappoints! Excellent offerings; personable, professional, and welcoming staff.

Grace Hawkins

Two years with my boyfriend and Simon and Seaforts knocked it out of the park! Greeted with anniversary congrats, a card and rose petals. Food was to die for, coming back next anniversary!

Eric Sanford

Awesome view, friendly staff, and we'll cooked food.

Aaron Abramovitz

Great food. Crab and salmon were delicious. Bartending was top notch. Service was very attentive, friendly, and professional. Anyone coming to Anchorage should make a stop here.

Gon Shoham

A great place for dinner, the view is amazing and the food is great. We had the king salmon, it was worth every cent.

Tara Seibel

The crab legs were awesome, great view and our waiter, Jason, was very knowledgeable and took great care of us!

Mike Swinson

Very good food. Waitress was fabulous.

Brigid Schultz

Attentive wait staff...wildberry salad and smoked salmon bisque were out of this world. Halibut cheeks, green beans and garlic mash...yum; rockfish and cilantro rice fabulous!

Judy Atkins

A wonderful place to go for a birthday celebration! Food was great service was great

Kev Jeong

We got the scallops, a new York steak and king crabs but the new York steak was really chewy. Had a big silver skin, and also felt like it wasn't hung long enough time to tenderize the meat. Was cooked perfectly though. The scallops were amazing, had a lot of flavor and was sweet! The king crabs are to die for!

Elisha Waugh

My husband were referred to Simon and Seafort's by multiple friends for our anniversary dinner during our visit to AK. We were super excited to try it because of the great reviews we had received. However an interesting start to the evening occurred when as we were walking in, the couple walking out is complaining about how dry and awful their halibut was. We kept the reservation anyway thinking maybe they just had a bad meal, it happens in the best resteraunts and went to the bar to wait for our table. Once seated at the bar the servers were attentive and drinks were good. We ordered the halibut cheeks (not on the menu) as my best friend raved about them and she is super picky about her fish. They were mediocre at best, as they were SWIMING in either grease or butter I'm not sure which and had no flavor. Then the problem occurred. One of the bar tenders broke a glass while he was talking to a customer. So he went back to get the dust pan and broom, only to set the FILTHY dust pan on the cutting board where they had been cutting oranges minutes earlier. To make a bad situation worse, when questioned he proceeded to say "well it was just a mistake I was talking to another customer." He was then asked what he planned to do about the counter to which he stated "sanitize it." I might of actually bought that had he not then walked the dust pan and broom to the back to turn around still with dust pan in hand and grab a bar towel with his unwashed hands. He then allowed the towel to touch the dust pan while he was walking back to garbage can next to the cutting board he had just set the dust pan on. After dumping the dust pan in the garbage, he changed hand that he was holding it in while still holding the "clean" towel which again touched the filthy dust pan. After returning the dust pan to the back room, he came back to clean the counter with the "clean" rag he had been carrying around all the while. He proceeded to reach into a lower drawer with the rag, I'm not sure what was in the drawer as I could not see i . It could have been a cleaning solution but the towel was never rung out and I did not observe it dripping or wet. He then wiped/scrubbed the counter. To.most people this sounds well and good. However, as a food safety consultant and auditor, and holding servsafe managers accreditation, the procedure utilized was definitely not to standard, and made me question what food safety procedures and training was occurring in the entire resteraunt. Foodborne illness is a major concern for all preparing food to be served or purchased by the public. A situation like this could easily lead to a strain of pathogenic salmonella, E.coli, Listeria, etc.

Evelyn Blandino

The food here was first class! Appetizers and entrees all included fresh, well prepared seafood seasoned to perfection. There were many dishes on the menu for land lovers and they all sounded delicious, but our party was there for the seafood. The only part of the meal that was less than amazing was the dessert. It was also well made and beautifully presented. It just wasn't creative. The menu consisted of a few common sweets that are easy to enjoy, but also easy to forget.

Carol Dunkel

Delight full place... old world charm.. good food

S R Hayes

Marvelous food at reasonable prices!

James Mabry

Plenty good as always. Crab and artichoke dip is great. Steaks were good.

Victor Cepero

Good service. We came to kill some time before a tour so we only had a few drinks and the oysters. Will try to get back for dinner.

Cheryl Ruiz

Great experience! Food was wonderful and the service was awesome!

Jeff Stiffler

Fantastic food, service, and views!!

Micael Magalhaes

Lovely place and view. Good service and reasonable wine selection. A relevant stop in a short trip to Anchorage.

Vincent Lee

Great place for FRESH seafood...the Halibut and Baked Alaskan

R Pradhan

Excellent food. Try grilled salmon.

Kessashun Arthur

I spent a week exploring some of Anchorage's better restaurants and this one ended up being my favorite. They have a very attractive dining room with window seats that overlook the water (by no means do you have to dress fancy though). They serve a menu of the freshest Alaskan seafood with seasonal specials. They elevate everything they serve from the salads to the drinks. There's tons of unique ingredient choices/combinations that show how much thought and skill went into creating the menus. The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Do yourself a favor and go out of your way to visit Simon's if you're ever in Anchorage!

Christoph Lauter

The food is probably the best in Alaska, the restaurant has some style. The restaurant is noisy, though. I've lived in Paris and Lyon, France, for quite a while so it's hard to get 5 stars from me.

Rena Colton

Pricey but delicious. Nice views.

Jonathan V

Call and make a reservation folks, they get busy here... as well every thing that'll come on your plate is the way it should be. The establishment could use a little TLC, was weird odor of urine but eh, it was a small thing not worthy of knocking a star in comparison to other factors. Am residing out of state, if in AK I'd definitely make another stop here!

Samantha Harris

Not that they need more praise but I have to say my first experience did not disappoint. The bar was raised pretty high from their incredible reputation and every bit of the experience lived up to it. The hostess was kind and welcoming. The view was amazing. The wagyu sirloin melted in your mouth. And the scratch margarita was smooth and refreshing. Great service, lovely atmosphere and all around fun time!

Samantha Dutton

I went to Simon’s for the first time a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it! Everyone at the table got something different and we kept tasting each other’s food because every meal was so delicious! I will definitely be back here!

Enrico Gasparini

Very good restaurant with a nice view over the sea. The food is excellent. Absolutely appropriate the choice of wine and also the craft beers they offer is remarkable. The service is very friendly and professional. Absolutely a must if you stay in Anchorage.

richard pagliara

Out of town review: Service: Excellent Food: Very good overall. Bread, hot. Drinks, on point. Calamari and Poke, very good. Burger, seafood fettacinni, muscles, great. Seafood salad, too many bitter greens for her. Local berry cobbler, really good. Upscale pricey dinning... Would we go again when in town, yes.

Marissa Brunson

Good food and best view!!!

George Silagadze

Really good food. If you can ask for window seats. This place has a great view of the bay. Over all really good experience.

Blake Severson

Just a spectacular dining experience. We were promptly seated and our server was ever present. The Halibut cheeks were tremendous and the Salmon special was incredible. I cant reccommend this restaurant enough. If I had one night to eat in Anchorage, this would be the only option.

Emily

Some delicious dished (halibut stuffed with crab) and what would theoretically be a great location, but window tables in June were way to hot unless the blinds were closed and the restaurant was uncomfortably packed and super noisy. The service was good, but overall not my favorite experience. On the other hand we loved the nearby Glacier Brewhouse, which while super busy was really pleasant.

Kristy Almon

My prime rib was perfect

Jerry Vielmas

It was a delicious meal with even better service. We had the first king salmon of the season and it was spectacular, as well as the halibut cheeks. We will definitely go there again!

Derrick Stagliano

Ordered the oyster appetizer and 12 oz. peppercorn prime rib. The oysters were fantastic, but the prime rib was one of the worst I've ever had. It had no taste whatsoever except for the overwhelming pepper flavor. One bite would be completely bland, and the next bite tasted like I was eating a spoonful of pepper. The service was average. Nothing to write home about, but not something that hurt my experience. The views of the water we're awesome. I wish I could have sat there (sat at the bar instead). Finally, for the price it made it all the more disappointing. For $75 with tip, I am expecting more than an awful steak.

Ben Cartwright

Exceptional halibut cheeks. The finest pieces of fish I have eaten in 5 years, if not longer. Everything was great, the service, the food and local beers. The server was attentive and knowledgeable, and his recommendation of the halibut cheeks was outstanding. I'll be eating here again when I next return to Anchorage

Terrance Aldridge II

The wagyu sirlon was amazing! It was topped some lime peel shavings which gave it a great rest! We were also lucky to be there to partake of halibut cheeks which were tender and delicious! Fantastic experience!

Enrico Gasparini

Very good restaurant with a nice view over the sea. The food is excellent. Absolutely appropriate the choice of wine and also the craft beers they offer is remarkable. The service is very friendly and professional. Absolutely a must if you stay in Anchorage.

DL Hereford

Excellent meal and incredibly beautiful inlet views. Service superior and prices are reasonable for an 'upscale 'business; Cioppino, halibut and the appetizers are a highlight for us.

Lars Schmidt

Nice view over the bay. Food is not bad, which is good.

Dan Stomm

I had a business lunch. The servers were very professional and attentive. The food was delicious and almost too pretty to eat. Pricey but worth it.

Marc Krolikowski

Good food, but pricy. But overall worth a shot

Tee F Kay

From my first and only visit to Anchorage this restaurant left a permanent impression. It is a very nice styled Art Deco restaurant style that is very appealing. You have a chance to wait on a very well sorted bar, when seats are not immediately available. I remember the fresh prepared halibut, one of my favorite fishes in the North and even more than that, the scenic view on the waterfront in summer at night (!). You hardly can beat that!!!

scrappy 1010

We went to Happy Hour and enjoyed the food and service! Veronica was great. Go early if you want good seating.

Dave Giancoli

I'll pass on going back was here 7 years ago and still the same cook's dont know how to cook food was warm steak wasn't even juicy got new one came back salty the hole plate was salty tred it again since my wife wanted it I'll pass on ever coming back with anyone

Shelly Nuss

Horrible service! Calling management. My husband's birthday. Very disappointing Simon's!!

Dionne Fields

I really do enjoy eating fresh water king crab legs at least twice a year. There is only one place on this planet that has the best fresh water king crab legs. Simon & Seafort’s Saloon & Grill located in Anchorage, Alaska has the best surf n turf with a breathtaking panoramic view. My two sons’ and I are planning our next family vacation to Anchorage, Alaska to visit Simon & Seafort’s Saloon & Grill Restaurant. I’m looking forward to eating the Norton Sound king crab legs with macadamia nut stuffed halibut. And for the dessert the key lime pie with burnt cream served with home made ice cream!

sourabh sharva

The place is nice with good food, service and drinks. I felt the fish Items were little dry. Else everything was great.

Mark Olson

We had a couple of beers at the bar and some appetizers. The steamed clams were exceptional. Service was excellent. Nice view as well.

danny kelly

One star for the appetizer. No stars for the $44 steak they could not cook right. I asked for no color well done NY cut. (Butterfly it if they want). Watching the tattoo armed boy struggling with cooking what I ordered was not so nice to see. Even the manager offered me soup. SOUP, SOUP, SOUP I don’t think so missus. Steak costs $44. The second time my steak was brought the manager stated “ if I see red, I’ll yell at the him”. So I checked my first opened cut and it was good so I cut into the other side and opened it up to red meat again so the manager (without a word) grabbed the plate and returned it. Again $44 for the steak. Also why is everybody getting mashed potatoes and green beans with dinner. No other choices. Fish, steak, chicken, and salad meals all served with mash and beans. Maybe think about other colors.

Rose McCormack

The most amazing view of Cook Inlet. Great food and great service!

Mary Swoboda

Our waiter was fabulous! We asked to split a meal and the meal was divided on two plates. Beautiful. Our meal was delicious to the last bite. Had creme brulee for dessert. No complaints! A great place to celebrate a special occasion

Steelerzgirl333

Good food and nice location.

Irwin Schwartz

Slightly upscale setting in an office building, and food was well presented if not inspiring.

Sarah Steffey

Beautiful location. Fantastic food. The service was outstanding. Couldn't be happier. We had the king crab, cioppino, salmon bisque, and wild berry salad. All of which our group would order again!!!

raj kumar

Very poor service never recommend to anybody the just entertaining American people

Mike McKeen

The food is amazing. I recommend the clams and steak salad. Not 5 star because our server was not very attentive.

Seth Kirshen

Nice restaurant with a great water view in Anchorage (within walking distance of all of the downtown hotels). I highly recommend the crab dip and the ceviche. Very friendly service.

Fredie Realon

Anchorage's best.Good food.Big serving and awesome service.Really nice view of the inlet passage

Shane Mecham

A great visit with good food and drinks. Clams appetizer is amazing. Be sure to same the table bread to pick up the juice. Steaks are always cooked to order and done right. They offer specials regularly including locally source seafood. Service was great, friendly staff and very attentive. As with Alaska restaurants, dress is casual to business attire. Generally more business casual. In the summer the views are amazing, and if you come early in the winter you can get a long "sunset" Atmosphere is always energized. Check your coat, relax and have a good time. Its worth it.

Rachelle Lackey

Great food and great dinning experience. The staff were all very nice also. If you live in Alaska or are here for a night or two make this a must stop place.

kels wilber

Great views service and good. Last visit was for Mother's Day Brunch

Saundra Johnson

We went during happy hour and sat in the bar area by the window for the beautiful view. The food, service and price was very good. We will diffiantly be back.

Kimberly DeMoss

The ceviche and the fireweed ice cream were absolutely amazing.

Christopher Zahn

Amazing food and atmosphere!!

Lawrence Harper

Colossal king crab legs !! Atmosphere was Great, the food was great, the service was great.. So great I went back 2 days in a row..and if I make it back to Alaska I will go back !

Lorraine Clausen

Beautiful view, great service, nice comfortable seating and most importantly delicious crab legs! My husband had the halibut which was also very good!

Sandy Whittley

This is definitely the best seafood dinner I had while in Alaska.. slightly pricey but worth every penny...Staff were friendly, helpful and prompt despite the fact it was extremely busy for a Sunday night.

Tanya Markham

King Crab legs were amazing, beer pretty good too, Very popular and Great Vibe with a view

Mr. Brett Kirk

OMG. I took my wife here for our 2nd anniversary and we enjoyed every second of our visit here. We had reservations at 6. Showed up 5 mins before 6. Immediately greeted and welcomed by the Hostess. Sat down at a very convenient location with an excellent view of the bay. Then we were welcomed by a very friendly and knowledgeable server. He was entertaining and kind. Two traits we dont see together too often while seated at a restaurant. The food and beverages came and were savored to the tip. The scallops were cooked to perfection, risotto was very nice. My wife enjoyed their chicken and was very happy overall. 5 stars for our experience And if I could, I'd give the tall Male server a star of his own for his excellent service and our tip reflected it generously. Be back soon. Thank you for an excellent experience on my 2nd anniversary with my wife, and our two children. Many many thanks!

Jerry Adams

It was okay. Overpriced for the food. You are definitely paying for the view.

Amy Lovejoy

Recommended by multiple locals to give their crab legs a try, and totally worth it! Loved the ambience, great view, and awesome menu!

Jed Parks

Simon & Seafort's was a off da hook experience....! From the hostice to the Bar staff to the food & view....

Daniel Jewell

Have only been once, but it was an extremely memorable experience. Got a great table overlooking the harbor and the service was extremely attentive and courteous. Went with the family and all of us were able to get something we thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is on the more expensive side of what I personally spend on food, but was well worth it and certainly made for a special occasion.

Phil

We enjoyed our visit here and the foods were awesome. Service was great and the views were excellent. You will not be disappointed by the seafood or vegetables. Beverages were varied and excellent.

Ethan Camp

Very classy and nice restaurant. However it is very pricy and there are a ton of people around dinner time. Decently fast service but for the price I expected a little bit nicer. Overall the food was excellent and it had an incredible view but the service was average.

Cora Ridley

Our Anniversary is Special there and Love it very much

Laura Yvonne Pelletier

Pricey and worth it! Excellent food and service. And a perfect dirty Martini (and that's saying a lot, as I find so many places that just can't make a decent one). From the appetizers to the entrees to dessert....it was wonderful. Plus a view!

J Thomas

Delicious steaks and seafood. Oysters are fresh. Loved the Lemon Drop drink, too.

Mark Brush

Went here for brunch. Service was fantastic, Natasha was very attentive. Had the seafood scramble. Salmon was a bit dry, potatoes were basic. Bit surprised for 20 bucks. Views were amazing. The place has no signage, it's at the bottom of a three story office building.

Sarah Steffey

Beautiful location. Fantastic food. The service was outstanding. Couldn't be happier. We had the king crab, cioppino, salmon bisque, and wild berry salad. All of which our group would order again!!!

John Hill

This place easily has the best service in ANC!!! I live in the valley but visit frequently.

Andrea Gunnell

Amazing amazing amazing. Made a reservation for our wedding anniversary, not only were we seated right away, but at the table there was a happy anniversary card and little bits of ribbon. Everything from the cocktails to dessert was mouthwatering and to die for, and for being a fancy restaurant the prices were really very good. I highly recommend and we will he going again

Ice Hot

This place was terrific, there was only one problem. The proportions weren't very big.

Edward Timm

Best king crab I've ever had and great service

Kim Kiefer

Great variety of food, very helpful staff, get a table by the window, very good food.

Ashley Swartz

The food, water views and excellent service. Great for large parties. Come early if you want the best water view seating. My friend and I split halibut cheeks, perfectly prepared wild Alaska salmon. The fresh crab and spinach dip was devoured by my travel companion. Our wonderful waiter gave my friend a complimentary baked Alaska. Why ? He is a parapalegic who drove the entire round trip drive from Vancouver B.C., Canada to Anchorage Alaska and back. Quite an accomplishment. This very popular restaurant in Anchorage, Alaska, and the perfect location to celebrate.

Nan Larson

Good food and great view.

Adam Merryweather

Good view and decent food but pricey

Cristiano Cappatti

Awesome view on the bay, delicious food, very good service!

robert frazee

Good food and good service. A little pricey but expected.

Fred Cristi

Great food and service

Pat Huesers

10 stars! Food was awesome, our server was great. Top notch.

Kari Renteria

Excellent service... Beautiful View...

Jada Nguyen

Absolutely great service and great food! The atmosphere was lively but fun! You can eat have fun and not feel rushed! Great dine in! We loved the Sampler, Halibut Cheek Entree, Raspberry Mojito, Peach Bellani Spritz, Seasonal Cobbler, and Key lime pie! I would definitely come back and try other items and their steak! Looked and smelled really good from other tables! I had my birthday here and was welcomed with birthday wishes and even had a card and table decorated! Coming back soon!

Michalea Crowell

Waiter was great, atmosphere was great, drinks were great but prime rip was a little cold, asparagus was a little under cooked and potatoes could have been a little more flavorful. For me and my friend who I was her for her birthday... said her food could had been better temped too. I was expecting a little something more special for here birthday and I had high hopes for the place food wise. ☹️ Maybe it just wasn’t the best night. Hopefully better experience if we try again.

Marie Josee Lamothe

So hot and stuffy, we needed to walk out. On summer days, there is very little ventilation, let alone cool air.

Warren Cromarty

As can be seen by most other reviews this is usually a five star establishment and we have had five star food and service here previously. Last night, my family birthday celebration was not the case. Three out of four of us had no problems with food. My wife went home hungry with her undercooked replacement dinner in a box! On top of that, service which is usually top notch was notably slow as most of the diners seated after us were finishing their meals before ours arrived! My wife’s steak, ordered medium with no seasoning, came mostly well done so we sent it back. The replacement was not fast tracked as promised as we had finished eating our dinners before it arrived. When it finally arrived it was seared rare and heavily salted so she couldn’t eat it. When we sent the first one back our waiter returned with a pictorial doneness chart and tried to convince us (translated, argued with us) that the first one was prepared properly. Who wants to argue with your waiter when the food isn’t prepared to your liking? (Especially at these prices!) All in all my birthday dinner was a bust. My recommendation: still a nice restaurant but get the ($$$$) seafood not the steak and if your waiter is slow call them on it immediately (or ask for Josh). The manager was very accommodating but the damage was done.

Arnab Paul

Excellent views and ok food. Long wait for entrees. Decent for a business crowd, but otherwise there are different options elsewhere.

Jim Bossardt

Halibut dishes and the chowder were excellent. Great service and view. Nice ambiance.

Nicci Banman

Beautiful view! Delicious food and excellent service!! Highly recommended

Apocalypse Inc

Love this place. Best food and atmosphere in anchorage

Mehran Irdmousa

Fantastic experience and service. Food was great. I tried the sirloin steak and fried calamari. Both great. Location is ok and the ambiance is fantastic with that gorgeous view. Will be back.

Rachel Flanagan

Great atmosphere! I had the sea scallops and king crab risotto. My boyfriend had the wagyu steak. The meal was delicious and beautiful. The service was great. I highly recommend this place!

Ayanna Bullock

Restaurant was a disappointment. Comments were very good however, the wait for food was EXTREMELY long, but food not worth wait. Had the $70 colossal king crab leg (didnt seem fresh, way too salty and mashed potato side was not hot). The only thing that compensated for the bad food was the wait staff (very attentive, friendly and offered to bring new sides without question).

Jennifer Dennis

A bit disappointed. It is not cheap and apparently tough to get a reservation. We were put in the very back corner...was way too hot in there! Had to walk thru ate a where the wait staff was picking up the dishes to be served. I had Alaskan King Crab legs for a pretty pricey amount. The sides were warm...bordering cold when delivered to the table. My friend had the colassal crab leg and had the same issues with his side's. What a disappointment.

Tomer Benyehuda

Beautiful place great atmosphere and delicious food Halibut cheeck is a must

Rob

No AC at an upscale restaurant "because it's Alaska" is absolutely rediculous. It made the whole experience miserable. The waiter was sweating like a pig on a spit (literally dripped his sweat into my water glass) as was everyone else. This was a 50th anniversary dinner for the inlaws. I was extremely disappointed.

Jean-François Veilleux

Good food, great service and awesome view. Worth the price.

Nancy Minnick

Fabulous, ask for a window table. Food was delicious and great service

Wendy Franko

Terrific view and really good food

Laura Delavan

I made a reservation online for 9 people. We showed up about 5 minutes early and were sat half an hour after our reservation time. There were only 4 other tables sat in the entire restaurant and plenty of places were we could have been sat. We were told there was only 1 table that could seat us. Our 215 reservation, sat at 245, and it took a long time to get our food. The food was great though and would come back for the food. But the service was horrible. If you don't mind waiting an hour for food, this is your place.

Delightful restaurant with good hours and good food. I got a perfectly cooked steak and their craft beer selection was very nice too!

Chun Zhou

Awesome view and fresh seafood!

Romy Seiders

Not impressed. Slow service and horrible food. $30 for shellfish fettuccini which consisted of 3 over cooked dry shrimp, 3 under cooked scallops, and a pile of dry noodles with cheese. No sauce whatsoever and very, very dry! Took a long time to receive our "reserved" table and our food. For the high price, and poor quality of the food and service, I will take my business elsewhere. Also a very loud atmosphere. We had to almost yell just to have a conversation. I highly recommend you skip this one! Not sure what all the hype is about.

Still has a solid night-vibe after all these years. We've been going here since the late eighties. Best French onion soup in Anchorage and happy wife's short rib papperdelle was especially good tonight. Booze is a bit pricey and the wine pours a tad stingy, but overall thumbs up.

Parascovia Sliney

I love the environment, really good food and drinks. Fair prices

Everton Christie

The food was excellent. Recommend to anyone visiting Anchorage.

Chris Bowers

Best restaurant in terms of quality and food in the whole state. By far.

Bethany Myles

Delicious food, great atmosphere and fantastic service! I look forward to coming back.

High class both on food and interiors, so I highly recommend it.

A venerable Anchorage institution - great food, lovingly prepared, knowledgeable wait staff, & a terrific view of Cook Inlet & Mt. Susitna.

We had clam chowder for starters and lobster tails for the main. They were made to perfection and just tasted great. This restaurant is highly recommended for those who want great seafood.

Robert Granell

Very nice, excellent service, delicious meals, and has a relaxed atmosphere. Meals range from $30 - $50, decent portions.

Nicole Fuster

I had to give this 5 stars because it was really amazing 100% the scenery, food, everything really. I had forgotten to take a picture of what I was eating half the time because it was that good! The brie and berry sauce with toast was to die for the meal itself was amazing I could reccomend things on this menu all day. You will have to try it yourself and understand why

Great views from the bar! Had drinks and enjoyed our time at the restaurant during and after happy hour. We didn’t eat there, but it looked like typical seafood fare with rich sauces and sides.

Nikhil Ket

Great place. Awesome ambiance. Variety of dishes to satisfy your palette. Especially the muffins they serve in the morning are one of the best I have ever had
