Here you will be able to see all the information of people like you who buy the products of Moose\'s Tooth Pub & Pizzeria (Restaurant) in the area close to Alaska.
At the present the business has a score of 4.7 stars out of 5 and that rating was based on 5155 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is almost the best one, and it's founded on a large number of scores, so we can conclude that the rating is quite credible. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are happy with the service, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to put feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is included in the category of Pizza restaurant.
Fantastic selection of pizza options. Pretty decent selection of craft beer as well. Seems to be the go to place around town, as it was super busy, but service was still quick and we were enjoying pizza in no time.
Only serves their beer, no outside choices and the 5 pizzas I've tried weren't very good. Great place if you like microbrew or craft beer. But I don't. How about some options for the rest of us?
Worth the wait! Shared the Napoleon and Santa's little helper with coworkers. Loved the thin crust! We got there at 530 to try and avoid the rush but it was already busy. Found a spot at the bar was able to order from there without too long of a wait.
Ended up doing take out as this place was crazy busy. The wait was equal to take out time, so we just took it back to hotel. We got the medium chicken Rockefeller and aloha escape along with a large salad. It easily fed 4 adults and two kids. They provided plates, napkins and forks for take out.
A warm, friendly place to get together with friends. Once selections of beer and some really great food.
It's my first day in Alaska, I've had good food from several countries and this place tops it. The Mac and cheese pizza and the Darth delirium ale are definitely worth the trip.
Moose's Tooth was very busy! They seemed to have a lot of staff working, but not the most welcoming, quickest, or friendliest service. We ordered 3 to-go pizzas and it took about 45 minutes to get them. Pizza only takes 6-8 minutes to cook. I ordered a beer while waiting. The beer came quick, but our waiter/server never returned to offer another one. The pizza was good, but the overall experience left something to be desired.
The pizza is really good. I'm not sold on the breadsticks, just so-so. The wait is crazy, be prepared or do take out
Pizza and Beer are the main staple. You can bet it's within the top five pizzas you have ever tasted. We showed up at 930pm and the place was packed. Took about 20 minutes to be seated. During the wait we enjoyed a sampler of thier beers. Once seated, service was fast and friendly. Pizza took about 15 minutes from order to plate. If you are visiting Anchorage, put this on your must list.
I got their avalanche pizza on a gluten free crust and I wasn't a huge fan. The BBQ sauce had a very strong vinegar taste and I ended up throwing it out. Not sure if I got a bad pizza or something since everyone raves about this place.
Staff at hostest counter are not the nicest but the pizza is amazing and the cheese bread is the size of a small pizza and you can eat all of it because its so good.
Pizza was good but the service was super slow. You would think they want to move people through the restaurant since they were so busy but it took us 2 hours to sit and eat and we only waited for 15 minutes to get a table at 4:30. We probably won't be back to eat
Pretty good pizza and really good beer. I was impressed with the variety and quality of beers on tap—from a steam beer/California common to my favorite, the dark lager, Joan of Dark. For beers that you don’t see that often, nothing was too over the top or offensive, and all were enjoyable. While the lunch special, with a pizza slice and salad, was a good deal, the salad was little haphazardly made. Service was fast and everybody was friendly.
Moose’s Tooth started as 5 Star but now I’d say they’re a 2. Over the last several orders we’ve noticed the toppings being less and less. It seems all the toppings, cheese and sauce are now very sparse, and quality is going downhill. This is very disappointing for long time customers like myself who have been eating their pizza since their inception. I don’t feel I can continue to recommend Moose’s Tooth to my friends, family, colleagues or out of town guests.
Had the Mac and cheese pizza, added bacon. Everything is better with bacon. The pizza was great and the service was fast!
I was a little skeptical about Moose's Tooth because I thought it may be a tourist trap. I can say with 100% certainty the pizza and beer are AMAZING. If you are in Anchorage stop in and give it a try, you will not be disappointed. They have great pizza topping combinations and a hell of a beer selection.
The food is superb. The service is awesome. The food arrives in a timely manner, hot and delicious. Thus is an iconic Anchorage must go place. The parking SUCKS! Either go at an off time offer expect to park down the street.
Must try! The pizza was some of the best we've had in America, honestly. Set aside a few hours for the wait but have a locally brewed beer in the mean time. The staff was cute, friendly, and everything ran pretty smoothly for such a fast paced environment. There's something for everyone here, even tasty salads with nice veggie options. 10 outta 10, highly recommend!
Great pizza, great assortment of brews, fun atmosphere and appearance. Perfect service. Highly recommend!!
Awesome food. Love the service. Wonderful atmosphere. Great music(opinionated)
We stopped by 3 days ago! The food was awesome, the beer, cold and tasty, the atmosphere was fun and friendly! I have to give a shout out to Sarah who was our server on Sunday 7/21. She noticed us looking at our cartoon map of the city and offered information about things to see and do! She was very helpful and informative! She made us feel welcome to the area and excited to explore! Thank you Sarah!
I discovered two new reasons for a return visit. The jambalaya soup and Popeye's pizza were out of this world. Our server was so attentive desnpite being inundated with customers seated as well as those waiting for seats. She never hesitated to offer a cheerful smile and answered all our questions and met all our requests. Charlie (I think that was her name,) I am honored to count you a favorite.
#1 pizzeria in America. Just had a family dinner for family moving out of the state. Great staff and people, left my phone on the table as we were leaving (had diaper bag, baby carrier, and left over box) and someone found me and returned my phone in minutes. The waitress took care of our big 11 person table (4 adults and 7 kids) with wit and grace. A memorable farewell for family.
The server was so full of information and insight into the area and with beer, and was very personable. The food was amazing and wait time ended up being much quicker than expected. What a great, accomplished pizza place!
Best pizza I've ever had. I make it a point to go every time I'm in Anchorage and to bring some back to Washington with me if I don't have time to eat there! Fresh and unique, never disappointed
Great day in the morning this is some good pizza. We're here on vacation and this place was recommended by our hiking guide. Delicious is putting it mildly. We had a couple beers and the Santa's little helper pizza. The pie was cooked to perfection. The place was packed and for good reason. You won't be sorry you eat here.
The food is so good! Great vibes, great drinks, lots of pizza! One of the top resturants I visited while in Anchorage. I recommend this place to anyone especially those who love pizza and beer!
Always a wait to get seated. Fantastic food, lively environment, and fast service once seated. Great place for family visits, hanging out with friends, and date nights. Love the fact that there were so many pizza combinations. Fantastic service every time we have been there.
love this place. plan to come here every time I am in Anchorage. The Apricot pizza is surprisingly amazing.
Man this place was delicious! They had quite the pizza spread so no one will be missed out. I tried the Mac n cheese pizza and I was not disappointed. I would definitely eat here again!
Omg! The pizza is awesome. We also had cheezy bread sticks with marinara. Sooo good.
Fun family friendly atmosphere. Extremely busy. Expect a long wait for a table while you wait with a drink on the veranda. Staff was very competent and handled our orders for four adults efficiently. Everything was good. However I would not recommend the goat cheese pizza. It seemed dry to me and lacking flavor. Note that this place is large and packed with customers at peak times. It's very noisy and feels a bit cramped and hectic.
Really innovative pizza and beer brewed in house. When we visited the Mississippi queen pizza was basically jambalaya on a pizza with fresh shrimp. It was amazing! The beer was fantastic and don't worry about the long wait times, there is a beer garden with firepits available while you wait for your table .
As usual, the food was excellent! I did an order to go, and I think from the time I called to the time I got the food, it took about 25 minutes. Even if you place the order over the phone, you can expect to wait a few minutes in line when you get there to pay. The place is super busy all of the time, but even with that, they do an incredible job of maintaining quality of the food and quality of service. I don't mind waiting a couple of extra minutes, because for as busy as it is, it's not that much extra time - and it is always worth it!
Yummy and creative pizzas. Really flexible options so you can try different combinations of toppings in one visit. Crust is also crisp and flavorful.
We visited with family before heading back to our Washington state home. When we got to the restaurant there must have been 100 people waiting to eat. You could barely move! We thought "Yum! This many folks here must mean good food." We waited about an hour all told. OMG! It was worth every long wait minute. The best pizza outside of Chicago. Great service, good beer, and leftovers to comfort us on the way South. Whatta deal!
The wait time kinda sucked, but was well worth it. Great service and fabulous food. I really recommend the Garlic Lover's pizza
Casual place with the best pizza i have ever had. So many options its hard to choose what to eat! Same can be said about the beer selection! Great place for family and friends.
This place is amazing! Plan to spend a few hours there as it will always be busy. Beer is good although a bit more expensive than what I like to pay, but it is a brewery. Staff is helpful and create a good atmosphere. I would go back again and again!
Excellent service! Great pizza! Delicious beer! The only thing I didnt like is that we went on a weekday so I couldnt quite quench my thirst.
If you believe the perfection of pizza starts with the crust, then you want to eat here. Yeasty, chewy, airy, fragrant crust (plus breadsticks — sorry, diet). The sauce and toppings and chicken wings and drink options were lovely too, but the card-induced joy of the crust will live on in my dreams.
Lunch special is a slice and salad for $8. This place has a huge fan base, for good reason. The pizza is awesome. I recommend all of the pizza, but especially the Brewhouse with Denali sauce ( spinach blended with ricotta cheese). Word of warning, this place is very busy, all of the time. Expect at least a 20 to 25 min wait at most times. They also have Bear Tooth, their brewery, with a ton of beers on tap, with seasonal rotations.
Amazing pizza, great ambience and very polite and friendly staff. They do get very busy in the evening so make sure to book in advance. But a must try place if you are in anchorage
Wow! First timer from South Carolina. We read this place was popular, so we wanted to try it out. Arrived between 3 and 4, there was about a 40 minute wait. We had a Raspberry Wheat draft (which was delicious) while we waited and sat outside by the fire pit. We shared Santa's Little Helper for our meal, and it was phenomenal! My made the comment that it may be the best pizza she has ever tasted! For dessert we had the special Apple compote cheesecake. It lasted about 2 seconds. Needless to say, we loved this place. If we were local, we would go all the time.
Without a doubt, this is the most popular place to dine in Anchorage. No matter the day or time, you can expect long waits to get a table. When it's nice out, it's worth grabbing a beer (which they brew in-house) while you wait. They have one of the most unique and extensive pizza menus you'll find anywhere. They always have an ever-changing pizza and dessert on their menu that'll jump out at you as well. The Avalanche, Thai Chicken, and Smoked Salmon (special) pizzas are some of my favorites, but there's plenty more chicken, meaty, and veggie pizzas to choose from. If you leave room for dessert, there's always a cheesecake on the menu. While I'm not as crazy about this place as many locals and tourists are, I won't deny that Moose's Tooth is a very good place to fatten yourself up!
Fantastic selection of pizza options. Pretty decent selection of craft beer as well. Seems to be the go to place around town, as it was super busy, but service was still quick and we were enjoying pizza in no time.

I have lived all across the country, I now live in New York. Hands down the best pizza I have EVER had and it’s not close.
Ended up doing take out as this place was crazy busy. The wait was equal to take out time, so we just took it back to hotel. We got the medium chicken Rockefeller and aloha escape along with a large salad. It easily fed 4 adults and two kids. They provided plates, napkins and forks for take out.

Best pizza in Alaska till now. Good location, great quality pizza and beer, helpful staff and great selection of beers. The prices are a little high and waiting time is toooo long (40min for us), but for quality of pizza that we ate, it was a good option.
Staff at hostest counter are not the nicest but the pizza is amazing and the cheese bread is the size of a small pizza and you can eat all of it because its so good.

Great pizza! Probably one of the best pizza places I've found. Visiting from Orlando Florida!
Had the Mac and cheese pizza, added bacon. Everything is better with bacon. The pizza was great and the service was fast!

Good food. Ordered a take out order. Wait time was exceptionally long and when I was told 1 1/2 wait time then I had to wait an additional 30 mins.

Had pizza, salad and desert from Moose's on a recent stay in Anchorage. We had a to go order and the salad was very good. Desert was awesome. Pizza was cold- like stone cold which was disappointing. We arrived 5 minutes before time they gave us to pickup. Did not have a chance to check pizza. Our hotel was literally 2 minutes away, so it wasn't sitting for a long time or anything. I would hesitate recommending their pizza. We will try somewhere else next time.
Loved their pizza and the cream soda was the bomb. I also used it on a marinade for chicken breast on the grill.
This is a great place to eat! Several delicious pizza creations and other food options. Staff was customer service oriented and patient. It is a popular place to eat in Anchorage, so a wait can be expected and it might seem a bit noisy. There is a waiting garden/patio where you can enjoy a drink while you wait. We arrived about 5 pm just before the large crowd and ate outside on a beautiful day!
Cheeseburger pizza was good but the meat needed seasoning. Add Tabasco and that helps. Hard to go wrong with pepperoni pizza.
Wow! I think we overbought just looking at pictures but my soul is glad we did. This pizza is serious. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Get some!
Delicious! The solstice pizza was incredible. Service was friendly and efficient. I couldn't ask for more.
Great pizza and atmosphere. Ate here twice while in Alaska. Split your pizzas toppings to try more combinations
Interesting pizza place! Food was very good and service was as well.
Moose's Tooth is one of the best pizza places in Anchorage. The service is really good and the environment pleasing. The pizzas are very good and reasonably priced. The specialty pizzas are quite amazing and some are rather creative. There is generally a short waiting time. But it moves pretty quick.
Delicious! Our family was staying at a nearby hotel and heard great things from the locals about this place, it did not let us down. The cheesy bread was really good and a very good portion to share with the table. We got a few different pizzas for the table and everyone was so satisfied and enjoyed everything. The in-house made root beer was also awesome!
A little bit of a wait but it was well worth it. Tried a few different kinds of pizza and they were all amazing!
Amazing pizzas! Definitely one of the more popular places in town, but great variety to their menu. Great service and quality. Would recommend for anyone passing through Anchorage.
Very popular pub. There was quite a wait but the outdoor patio was nice. We ordered 4 types of pizza and Everyone of them were simply Incredible. The pizzas are huge. Delicious apple ale !
Good food, good service. Busy place with staff who seem used to the flow of customers. If there is a wait, grab a drink and wait around the fire. Buffalo chicken salad was amazing. ***Tip: all roasted chicken pizzas, request blackened chicken instead( it is was better) *** Was here on a business trip, waiter was happy to split the check 4 ways.
The person at the rental car agency recommended this place as a local favorite and suggested ordering ahead but we decided to just dine in anyway. It was around noon and the place was packed. We still had only a ten minute wait. The pizzas are pretty huge. We ordered a medium and it was more than enough for the two of us. Great food and great service! Must try if you are in Anchorage!
Moose's Tooth is the best pizzeria in town, I could find. The have had a great variety on Pizza and a wonderful selection of beers to it. Waiting time to get into the restaurant definitely was longer as the time being served :-) And if you need a nice souvenir from your Alaska trip, their merchandise - besides others - has some really funny t-shirts. Head-turners in the lower 48 for sure ...
Cool, laid back atmosphere. Staff is great. Definitely go for the pizza anything else is probably not a good idea. I had the mushroom soup and a salad with smoked salmon. Not impressed. The pizza looked like mostly crust (unless that's what the guy next to me asked for).
Ask for Silas! He's the best waiter here. He'll not only give you top notch service, he'll give you all kinds of advice and must see attractions for the Anchorage and surrounding area. We got the wild game pizza with reindeer sausage. One of the best pizzas we ever had. Sauce was killer. Beer is brewed by same company. This is a must stop if in Anchorage!
Great spot. Pizza is tremendous. Beer selection is great as was the service. Just be prepared to wait if you go at peak times.
Best pizza I’ve ever had. Any one can do toppings but they have mastered the crust all the way through! And don’t even get me started on their homemade ranch!!!
Second time there. What ever you do make sure to try the blackened caesar salad. Too good
Call of the Wild (add marinara) was probably the best pizza I've had in the States. Excellent beer and pizza. I highly recommend.
Had the Sesame Soy and Mixed Green Salads to start; shared a medium Backpacker (Spinach, Roasted Garlic, Sundried Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives, Artichoke Hearts, Feta, Mozzarella, Provolone, Garlic Oil) which left us full and with a few slices to take home. Service was great. Food was delicious.
Always awesome, the pizza smells good in the take-home boxes as I venture back towards the house. I had both of there a APAs, and they were both incredible, as I waited for my to-go order.
Yum. We had time to kill in Anchorage before catching our flight so we Googled restaurants with outdoor seating and ended up here. The place was packed but we didn’t have to wait long. The pizza was great, try the cheese bread with their house sauce, delicious. The beer was also really good, had a seasonal coconut brew that has had me wanting to go back to Alaska just to have another glass.
The most astonishing gustatory experience. The flavors of the Into The Wild Pizza were distinctly unique and lingering in a wonderful depth of expression. This place is truly the best pizza place in the world.
Such an incredible place. We had the forager pizza and the Carolina BBQ pizza and they were fantastic. The beers are also some of the best in Anchorage. They really know how to make fruit beer. The staff are friendly and great with kids. They definitely made us feel welcomed. We liked it so much we came back twice in 3 days!
Great pizza, has to be hands down the best I've ever had! 2 years ago came to Anchorage ate the pizza there and this time visiting I just had to come back! I joked and said, " I came to Alaska for 2 reasons, Halibut Fishing in Homer and Moose's Tooth Pizza!" Great job guys! Although your pizza is fabulous, your hostess station girls and the people who sell your T-Shirts were a bit rude! We bought 2 t-shirts and were going to buy more but the lady helping us was so rude and acted as though we annoyed her that we didn't buy but the 2.
My husband wanted to eat here before we left Alaska. We almost didn't make it but fortunately we had a late flight and made it by city bus (People Mover) from the airport. This pizza is AMAZING! I'm not sure what kind of crust they make but holy moly
They finally have a vegan pizza! Homemade dough and vegan cheese, I'm in heaven! This place has an amazing atmosphere and I definitely suggest that if you're visiting Anchorage, you eat at this place. They have a great selection of local beers and are definitely known for their pizzas. It does get busy on the weekends, so I suggest calling ahead to book a table. Same goes for carryout, it can take a little while. Decent prices on most menu items and a very helpful staff. Parking is limited on busy days, so carpool if you can.
It truly is the best pizza we’ve had in Alaska. The options are great and the food is certainly worth the price. They down side is it’s a serious hassle to try and eat at their location. It is always packed and usually it’s a 45 minute to an hour wait. So instead of waiting with 3 kids, we just ordered takeout. Don’t miss out on this place when in Anchorage, it’s worth the wait, I’m just not a very patient man.
You have yet to eat pizza. This food is one of a kind to Alaska and better yet no one can match this.
New to Alaska and these guys came VERY HIGHLY recommended. They did not let me down. You must try this
Each time I visit Anchorage, I make sure I eat here at least 3-4 times
Nice place but the food was average! Very busy restaurant, you will wait for your food.
Delicious! The solstice pizza was incredible. Service was friendly and efficient. I couldn't ask for more.
Missing Alaska only for mooses tooth! All their pizzas and salads are fantastic! Fresh, great tasting! Omg, their wide beer selections! Love the rapple
New to Alaska and these guys came VERY HIGHLY recommended. They did not let me down. You must try this
Each time I visit Anchorage, I make sure I eat here at least 3-4 times
Worth the wait, so go early! Best pizza in the city and such a fun environment
Great pizza. Be careful when you order their large pizza. It is actually an XXL. I ended up eating a lot more than I should.
Stop by for a great night out! Excellent customer service with even better pizza options!
Insanely busy pizza place. Food was great but had to get carry out because of the wait. There was some attitude from the person taking names because I was uncertain of waiting or placing an order to go. It's definitely worth the wait if you have time but plan accordingly. Blackened chicken pizza was amazing, bread sticks were pretty good and the moose pie was awesome!
Great specialty pizzas. Fantastic house beers. My favorite Cesar salad in Anchorage. The dressing is tangy and excellent. Always very busy though, so don't go if you're in a time crunch.
Absolutely out of this world pizza! Really great fresh salad's too! Good brewed beer! Nice wines, oh let's not forget home made root beer! We shared LOL
My friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint. A guy who sat next to my friends and I recommended Call of the Wild which had reindeer sausage and none of us have ever tried it, which tasted great, and Santa's Little Helper which was also tasty. Let's not forget about the awesome crust!
The pizza was pretty good. I didn't get a chance to get a pic
Just moved to Alaska and was told to try this place. Overall, delicious pizza! I haven't tried any other items on the menu. I usually order the Santa's Little Helper in a size small for about $13. My appetite isn't big but I can eat the entire thing in one sitting. Honestly, if there was a Mellow Mushroom here, it'd be my go-to pizza spot...but this place is a pretty good substitute for now. I took away a star for cost.
Great pizza, one of the best ever. I just with you didn't have to wait so long :(
Crazy selection of pizzas! Highly recommend trying the thai chicken version, and also the fiery cheesy sticks (not really spicy, but good). Food came out quick, server was great. Apricot pizza was a little disappointing, couldn't taste any apricot.
When we went at about 6PM, there were alot of people, and we had about a 25 minute wait. It was all worth it though! We had the mozzarella breadsticks, which was delicious and 3 pizzas. We have a family of four, and we got a small Call of the Wild (meat, veggies, and the garlic sauce was amazing!), and a large Napoleon (prosciutto, arugula, fresh tomatoes) and All-American (basically combo). It was worth the wait! We finished all but 3 slices! Definitely the best pizza place I've been to!
I liked this place, great boutique pizzas, little pricey, but good. Atmosphere is spot on, love the outdoor fires
Pretty solid place! I only tried one pizza there with my dad, but we both enjoyed it thoroughly and are definitely interested in returning next time we come to Anchorage!
Best Pizza I’ve ever had... seriously! Lively, hip atmosphere, great beer, and excellent service. Expect a very long wait - but it’s worth it!
Amazing food. Great atmosphere and outstanding service and friendly staff
Amazing!!! I can see why it is rated as well as it is! We got the buffalo pizza and it was by far the best I have ever had! The staff was very friendly and helpful as well!
The pizzas are decent. I usually go for the thai one with peanut sauce, the barbecue chicken one or the southwestern taco. Just yesterday I had the margarita on wheat crust with vegan cheese, and it was so good that half the pie was gone before I made it back home. However, trying to eat on site is a trying experience, first because of the wait to be seated, second because of the crowding and resulting noise, making it less than intimate or relaxing, at least for me.
This is a very popular place and you may have to wait for a table. If you don't mind sitting in area around the bar and don't have children you can usually find seating without the wait. The pizza is very good. They have a gluten free crust option. There are 10-15 different hand crafted beers to please everyone. I prefer a dark beer and they gave an excellent Porter. Service is excellent and knowledgeable if you're not sure about the beer. Samples are gladly offered.
Love their pizza and changing specials. Service and staff are great and friendly. Went there twice while visiting from Kentucky.
If you are in Alaska, this is a "must do" . Salad and pizza are the best. I can't wait to try something else. Been here for a week and has been there twice. Staff are awesome
Craziest pizza place I have ever been to. I come here many times throughout the year. The beer and creative pizza are amazing. My gf is very particular about beer and food and this one of the only places she was impressed with both.
Omg!!! Alaska can make some pizza!! This place was amazing!! Not to mention a huge variety of meets you wouldn’t normally be able to try in restaurants or even find the meat in a meat market. Must visit!!
Fantastic pizza crust. You guys would clean up out in the valley. You beat out all other pizza places here for sure. Something to think about
The best pizza, with several creative combinations. No reservations and there will be a wait to be seated during popular times. But it is very much worth the wait!
Make sure you have time but this pizza is definitely worth the wait. We tried a few different ones and my favorite was Santa's little helper. Amazing pizza!
Really great pizza. I wish they had this place is the lower 48. Nice selection beers too.
Hands down my favorite pizza place in Anchorage. Don’t forget to grab the cheese sticks while here and devour any pizza with reindeer sausage. Yum! Also, the beers are incredible! Try the Chugach Session or the Hefeweizen!
Stopped here for lunch because of all the good reviews and the consistently long wait (must mean it’s really good, right). We ordered from the lunch menu. We got two good size salads on plates that were too small to hold the salad so a lot of our salad was wasted because it fell off the plate. The salad itself was good. The ranch dressing was very obviously watered down though. We got our pizza slices on plates that would have been more appropriate for the salad. However, the pizza was ok. The thin crust was very good, slightly chewy. While the sauce was good, it was spicy, which was not expected. I ordered the house made cream soda and was disappointed by the lack of flavor. My husband ordered the root beer float and said it was good. All in all, the staff was very nice but the food was average and we don’t see what the fuss is all about and will not go back as our time here in Alaska is limited.
Great pizza in a great environment. It was really busy with about a 15 minute wait, but was worth it. I recommend this place to everyone.
Went to lunch here with co-workers. Food was excellent. Particularly enjoyed the slice of Avalanche pizza. Parking lot was very full when we got there for a late lunch. Waited 30 min for a table.
Long wait time so we got pizza to go. Pizza was excellent! Would recommend to anyone
Awesome selection of pizza and beer. Recommend calling beforehand to check wait time as they are always busy during summer. Took us almost an hour to be seated. 1st come, 1st served.
After reading all the reviews, you might think this place have some awesome pizza. We went by for lunch, and it was... OK. The lunch special slice of Santa’s helper was very pretty in color. My Classics Pie with thin crust also came nice and hot, with cheese stringing out as you pull it. The best part I felt was the crust, with cheese coming in second. The crust felt like it was oiled well, and the edge had a slight fried dough texture. However, they use sliced sausages that really didn’t taste like meat, which made it similar except smaller slices of pepperoni. I would hope that the topping and the sauce stand out a bit. Better than Pizza Hut for sure, but not anywhere close to something like Serious Pie in Seattle. The house root beer was better than canned root beer, but only slightly.
Great pizza! Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Reservations recommended.
Incredible pizza and drink offerings. This place lived up to the hype of several friends that said we had to eat here when we visited Anchorage. I suggest sticking to their specialties and getting 2 different toppings (1 on each half) for the maximum experience!
We absolutely love the pizza here. My personal favorite is the luwow. The wait time they say is always incredibly long, however I dont think we have ever waited as long as they predict. Also as you wait you can have a beer so it's been okay.
I visited Anchorage for a work trip and ended up coming to Moose's Tooth probably 4 or 5 times. One of the best pizza places I've ever tried out. Great atmosphere, great food, great beer, great staff. Could easily give it 10 stars. If I ever come back up to Alaska, you can bet that Moose's Tooth will be the first stop!
The best pizza around! The place was busy but the service didn't reflect it. Fast and great service and great food. You can't go wrong with this place.
In my opinion best pizza in town. Love the Santas Little helper (name of a pizza ) and the mac & cheese pizza. Promise you won't be disappointed.
Best pizza I have ever eaten! When you read the menu, sometimes the ingredient combos sound strange, but I have yet to try a pizza I havent liked! Go early and prepare to wait, as this place is always busy no matter the time or day, but it is always worth the wait. Oh, and dont forget to try the delicious in-house brewed beer. You wont be disappointed!!!
Worth the wait, so go early! Best pizza in the city and such a fun environment
Great pizza. Be careful when you order their large pizza. It is actually an XXL. I ended up eating a lot more than I should.
Everyone loves this place and there is a reason. We love it, although we try to stay away in the summer due to the crazy tourist crowds. Pizza and beer excellent.
Stop by for a great night out! Excellent customer service with even better pizza options!
Insanely busy pizza place. Food was great but had to get carry out because of the wait. Great pizza but this last visit the spicy habanero wings weren't spicy at all. More vinegary what my family agreed on. Some of the Korean wings were burnt and in eatable. But the salads, the pizzas and cheese stick were great

Beautifully tasting beers and incredible pizza. The salmon spread is delightful and the atmosphere is amazing. Would recommend. Thanks Rod Hancock!
You love pizza? I love pizza! So come here! Awesome food and atmosphere. Visited for lunch during a work trip. Wish I could have tried more of their pies. We quickly got a table even though the place looked packed. The server was responsive and food came as quick as pizza can come ~25 minutes. I'd go back if I'm ever in Anchorage again!
The best pizza, with several creative combinations. No reservations and there will be a wait to be seated during popular times. But it is very much worth the wait!

Excellent pizza as always. Best in the country, hands down. They even have gluten free options for crust and breadsticks. I'm celiac and have eaten here several times without any issues. 10/10
Mixed bag here. Service is slow, because it's always busy. Good beer, and some good pies.
Great pizza in a great environment. It was really busy with about a 15 minute wait, but was worth it. I recommend this place to everyone.

Wow! Pizza is amazing. Best crust that I have tasted anywhere in the world. Many innovative and savory pizza combinations. Atmosphere is very lively and casual. Had great service even though the place was slammed. Salads and beer selection good. Wine selection very good for a pizza place. The only down side is the wait for tables due to them being exceptionally busy. As a testament to the quality of food people were gladly waiting for 1 hour on Monday night for a table.
Suggested to us by a cab driver and I must admit, the pizza was delicious! Nice variety of toppings and topping combinations. Service was good. The place seemed loud, but I think it was in a good way, so totally acceptable.
This place is popular with locals. Family friendly. Wait for a table can exceed 30min.
The quintessential Anchorage restaurant. Every city visit must include a meal here. The Avalanche pizza, Diablo (cheesy bread) Sticks, and Blackened Chicken Caesar Salad are favorite indulgences.
Great pub! Nice staff good food! good beer
This is a must visit place in Anchorage. I was told to go here by all of the locals I met as well as others I know who have visited the area before. It didn't disappoint. They have a TON of pizza options as well as lots of local beer on tap! They do also have food other that pizza. The parking lot was always very full, but we still got good and fast service the 2 times we went.
Great atmosphere. Friendly and quick service. Pizza was yummy. Tons of beers.
You cant go wrong with Moose's Tooth, if there's a wait. Totally worth every second of it amazing pizzas and the beers are great as well. Definitely a spot you go back time and time again to weather your visiting or even a local
Great pizza and superb r craft beer. Friendly servers and nice atmosphere. But always so crowded you need to allow lots of time. Isn't there any other pizza place in Anchorage?
This iconic restaurant is a must try if visiting Anchorage. It serves up iconic pies with a variety of unique flavors in a pub style atmosphere
There are so many varieties of pizza! And they are all good! There is always a wait during the dinner hour, so get your name on the list as soon as possible, then plan to have some visiting time while you wait for a table. Great environment, great service, great food!
Best pizza hands down. Great drinks too. Just be prepared to wait... because everyone loves Moose's Tooth.
Best pizza in Alaska, if not the US! Plus great staff and atmosphere. Not a beer guy but I love their locally brewed root beer and creamsoda.
Dubbed as the best restaurant in all Anchorage! Not so sure. The location is great. The food is decent. I tried the wings with house sauce and the steak pizza. The pizza was dry and not very crispy on crust and I ordered thin crust. Not very happy with the ambiance. Tables too close you are in other people's faces for center tables. May come again.
Great thin crispy crust pizza. Great service. House made root beer and cream soda was yummy. Super busy at lunch, so make sure to get here right when they open.
We went as a group of seven people before a high school graduation. We were seated fairly quickly, got our food quickly despite the crowd and the rush to get out for the ceremonies. There is a wide selection of pizza and beer. Nice appetizers to fill in the wait while the pizzas are prepared. I've heard this is one of the most profitable privately owned pizza restaurants in the country and I can see why. It is well-run, has a relaxed atmosphere, great for groups and families. Highly recommend a stop here if you arre in Anchorage!
This place was awesome. It is very busy so be prepared to wait. I came here on a Tuesday and the wait was over an hour for just myself. The pizza was great. I couldn't decide on just one do did a half and half. I got the gyro on one side and Santa's little helper on the other. I also had some of the house root beer and that was delicious as well.
Pizza and atmosphere was good. Not the jaw dropper that seems to have everyone ranting and raving over. I was expecting to be blasted into space with this place. Don't get me wrong it was good but not worth the average 45 min wait time when you can go to Fat Ptarmigan and be seated immediately
Omgosh! This pizza is worth more than Yukon gold. We decided that on our trip, we were going to try different meats, entrees, etc. The "amazing apricot" pizza, with carrots shreds on top, was a pizza that you would consider trading your first born for. I know, I know, carrots on pizza? Really?? Carrots. On PIZZA???? The carrots blended with the other tastes like a symphony blends instruments.
Oh how I wish I could go back... I worked in Anchorage for about 15 months in 2007-2008. Moose's Tooth was a favorite. And convenient since it was right across the highway from my office. It's no longer on the menu but the Meatball Parmesan Basil pizza was my favorite but at least they still brew Pipeline Stout.
This place did not live up to the hype for me. Called in a takeout order and was told it's be an hour and a half. We are from Minnesota and only here for 2 days. We wanted the pizza since it came highly recommended. Got to the restaurant about 5 min before my order was supposed to be ready and it was ready. Pizza box felt super hot, but we we got back to our Airbnb (which is about 6 min away) it wasn't even lukewarm. Tried nuking it and that just turned the crust into cardboard. Definitely not worth the wait. The lemon dessert thing was pretty decent.
You can't go to Alaska without stopping by the Moose. Great food and friendly staff. This place is always packed but the wait times are short.
Alvalance and call of the wild pizza was very delicious I would recommend trying the two since they are the most popular ordered.
Crazy busy. Fun atmosphere. Unique pizzas that tastes great but take long time so be ready to wait.
Tasty place! Rather busy and popular place! The cheesesticks were big enough for a meal and super gooey! Highly suggest this if in town.
50 minute wait at 4pm on a Sunday. Service was so so, pizza was pretty good, but nothing I'd call spectacular. Had the margarita and the chicken/mushroom. Cheese sticks were a bit greasy.
Pizza was delicious and the dessert of the day was okay. Not the best cheesecake but certainly worth going back for.
Their beer, pizza, and service are all outstanding. I visit Anchorage often and I always stop at least once. This visit, I stopped twice!
I got carry out. I suggest you call ahead of time as the wait was about 40 minutes around 1:20 pm on a Sunday. I got the blackberry cobbler and a Santa's Little Helper pizza. The pizza came with steak, grilled chicken, bacon, pepperoni, red peppers, cilantro, mozzarella, provolone, and marinara sauce. My God, is it delicious! Great crust, fresh, and enough for lunch and dinner for myself. I paid about $14 for the small pizza and about $5 for the cobbler. I also received a good amount of cobbler for the price. It's one of the few places around where you can get such high quality delicious food for a reasonable price.
Amazing pizza! This place was recently recommended by every local person I met in Alaska and they were so right. Absolutely loved it. The wait time is so worth it!!
Went at lunch had the White Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza and cheese sticks with dipping sauces. The thin crust pizza was simply phenomenal!!! I’ve never had pizza this good before in My life. The house made root beer, root beer floats and Death by peanut butter were all outstanding as well as the service and prices. If I lived here instead of Texas I’d be here at least once a week. Bravo on s truly fine dining establishment!!!!
You HAVE to try the smoked salmon dip! 10/10 The Brewhouse and The Tenderfoot are spectacular pizzas! The beers are also pretty great too. I mean, you can’t go wrong with beer and pizza! Our waitress was spectacular too!
Definitely lived up to the reputation. Delicious recipes and lots of unique combinations. Totally worth checking out.
Great beer and food here everytime I have been. There is usually always a wait but it's well worth the time to wait. This place is too famous around the world now not to give it a try. Be sure to get a growler of cherry wheat before you leave too.
Best pizza ever. My family of about 22 all were on vacation and everyone pretty much ordered a different type of pizza and we shared them all together. It was amazing. When i ever come back, it will be the first place i go, honestly
They have good service, a nice atmosphere and the best pizza. Many Craft beers to choose from as well as soft drinks. You must try the Chipotle Steak Pizza, its a treat not found at any other Pizza place that I know of. Waits can be long especially on Fridays, but it is worth it and there is a fire pit where you can go sit outside and chat with friends as well as drink a beer while waiting.
Moose's Tooth Pub and Pizzeria is an Anchorage Must Do. There is absolutely no way you can come all the way out to Alaska and not eat here. The wait is well worth it, and there are a ton of vegetarian options. Although a bit pricey, there is no doubt that it is absolutely worth it. They are busiest between 6 and 9 pm, and especially so during the weekend. The service is impeccable. They are fast, smiley, extremely helpful, and could not be happier to host people at their restaurant. In particular, Rhonda was an absolute gem, and I wish I had the chance to tell her that in person. My family and I came as part of a big group and we had an extremely enjoyable time. We ate the Margherita and the Forager pizzas, both of which I would highly recommend. They have great IPAs which I myself did not indulge in. My father had the Polar Pale Ale which was really good, according to him. They also have desserts that ate to die for, including the Moose Pie, and the Milk and Cookies. Cheers to the best restaurant in Anchorage by far. You will not be disappointed...I personally promise you.
This was the best pizza I have had in a long time. And the mozzarella bread sticks were to die for! Definitely a must visit place in Anchorage!
Pizza was really good but wouldn’t say it was worth the hour+ wait. Crust was pretty good and lots of toppings as options. Flexible with substitutions. Would go there again if there wasn’t a wait.
Food was awesome! Staff was all friendly and helpful. The portions are pretty big compared to most places and the prices are solid! Bit of a wait but definitely worth it!
Truly the best pizza in America! We visit often and are never disappointed! So happy we found this place
Really good pizza and beer. We ended up going twice during our trip.
As a lifelong NYer, I alprove of this pizza! The Rockefeller pie was really terrific, follow by the triple lemon cake (I didn't love the texture of the cake, but the flavor was spot on).
We come here every year and it's always the highlight of our Anchorage trip. Try the Napoleon! The service is really good and the beer is strong too. The downsides are unavoidable as it's always very busy and loud due to its popularity with both tourists and locals alike.
Phone in your order for pick up if you want to avoid the large crowds and long waits on any given night. Remember to call in your order about an hour before you want to pick up the pizza - yes, it is that good.
