Typical-looking bar and the food was pretty good. My husband had the halibut burger and he really enjoyed it. I had the crispy chicken burger and it was a little dry. Tje salmon chowder was good though. Service was great!!

They have the best seafood selection in Anchorage, wonderful appetizers, everything prepared to order, all seafood local. Live alternative style music nearly every night, casual and friendly staff. The service was prompt and friendly. I went in to sample a few of the beers that Anchorage is known for, and the waiter had excellent suggestions for me, including a lesser known but better tasting amber ale. There were many others on tap that I didn't get to try. Would recommend to anyone who is a fan of a good beer, or anyone who wants to catch a game on TV. I didn't try the food but their menu items looked tasty.

Worth every penny. Good, cheap beer and some absolutely fantastic fish. Get the Halibut fish and chips and you will leave full and satisfied. It took me 15 minutes of steady eating to clear my plate and I totally forgot about my beer while I was eating.

We sat on the patio outside as the dining room was a bit too dark for us. On first impression the restaurant doesn’t look like much as it’s outdated but the patio was the perfect choice.

Seat yourself. Parking may be difficult at busy times, plan accordingly. Great bar area as well as the dining area. Kitchen staff is doing a great job - food was very good. Little pricy, but normal for Anchorage. Anchorage Museum is within walking distance, good opportunity to visit both from here.

Great selection of beers! The night my husband and I went they also had live music playing hits from the early 2000’s (talk about fun). The only reason I left off a star would be for the service, our server acted annoyed when we ordered drinks and food. We ordered the pretzel appetizer which was good.

I'm sorry to say that we were disappointed. We walked in to a completely packed house. We were told to seat ourselves. When we asked how, they said just cruise back and forth and wait for someone to get up. We literally had to hover around the tables and wait for a party to begin to get up. We were then told to go and hurry and sit at that table before someone else did. Well we're now sitting at a dirty table. While they did come and clean it up quickly, it's just not the experience we were expecting. Being in Alaska, we wanted to experience real Alaskan seafood. We ordered the Alaskan King Crab meal ($54). It consisted of (1lb) two crab legs that were somewhat watery and mushy. More disappointingly however was the Scallop and Salmon fettuccine ($27.50). The Scallops were there, but the Salmon does not come as a steak as you would expect, rather it is minced Salmon that is just in the sauce. It appeared and felt like they collected up all the scraps from other salmon meals prepared that day and just tossed them into the sauce. The scallops are whole, I'm not sure why the Salmon wouldn't be. In the end, we spent $100 on a mediocre meal that I feel I could have gotten for much less money at Red Lobster.

Came across this place, after dinner for a nice drink on our first day in Anchorage. We started at the downstairs bar trying some of the local brews, with some members having a beer flight option. A band started playing downstairs and people gradually filled in (we were a bit early). We then noticed they had another rooftop bar upstairs, which was absolutely amazing. With the sun out late, a live band and great drinks. This is a place to come in the future! Highly recommend!

I went to the airport location, and my husband and I were shocked at the homophobia we experienced at this restaurant. After seeing us embrace, the servers refused to speak to us at all, while delivering exceptionally warm service to the people behind us and in front of us, and even murmured homophobic slurs within earshot. Unfortunately enough, this occurred on my birthday. This was a very unpleasant way to say goodbye to Alaska after my vacation.

Terrible service. Food was just ok. The gal who helped us acted as though she was annoyed that we were there ordering food. My guess is because we were three women, she didnt like that. If she had a table with 3 guys maybe her tip would have been better because she could have flirted with them. This place got great reviews, not sure if they are paid for or not, because this place isnt worth it. Prices are high for what you get.

Fix your menu. If it says I should expect 3 tacos. Then give me 3 tacos... nothing is more disappointing than realizing you didn’t get what you expected. Or read! It got worse! They forgot my Baja sauce, and the fish was soggy. Del taco (the fast food chain) makes better food! For a tenth of the price!

Casual, relaxing atmosphere with an intoxicating presence that whispers fun. My wife & I had the halibut basket. It was perfect for 2. Sitting on a mountain of fries, the big, juicy , flakey nuggets of halibut were dipped and fried. Yummmy. We'll be back. Might save room for one of those delicious looking desserts next time.

Customers had to fend for themselves to find a table, so if you were there for 30 minutes and couldnt find a table and then someone walks in and happens to be by a table leaving, guess what - who cares if you've been waiting - the other people get the table because they were closer. Then you have people standing and staring and asking you when will you be done, we want your table. Awful.

A local recommended this to me. It was sooo delicious I want to go back again before I leave back to Utah. The server was nice and informative. We asked the server to recommend a good local beer and he got it right on. Humpy’s is an Anchorage tradition, but it’s definitely showing its age after 20+ years of operation. The food, however, is consistently tasty and the service is mostly good. If you’re there in the summer, they have a small outdoor seating area. Seafood and American fare done right.

Please if you are military/nonlocal this establishment seemed the be extremely prejudiced agasint our group. There were a bunch of us who had come to this establishment because we were told they had pretty decent food, however we were forced to sit together (although it is open seating and there were only small groups of us we that arrived together, the rest were at different times and in separate vehicles) which forced gratuity on everyone's check. Not only were we died to change seats and sit together, they refused to clean the tanks and we were not greeted with proper customer service. Our servers name was allyssa and the person who was pretty much the ring leader of the horrible service was standing behind the bar in a tye dye shirt on the outside patio the night we went, Sunday (14 July 2019 ) and she also refused to give us her name due to the service she had provided. The food was also horrible and serverly overpriced. Please do yourself a favor and do not patronize this establishment.

At one time I would highly recommend this place as a seasonal resident. I know you don't care about reviews because business is doing well for you. However it's sad that you don't honor your rewards program customers the rewards that are promised. John just on principle alone I will not support any of your restaurants.

Jalapeno, bacon, cheese burgers are my favorite type and they nailed it. Great waitresses and cooks. Love the menus they put out and they have things on them I have never tried. I look forward to going back there soon.

Tourist trap. Poor service and expensive food that was not good. Several people at the table got the wrong drink and the restaurant didn’t replace it for the correct drink and charged us full price. Would not go back

Great choices on the menu and excellent selection of microbrews. 3 of our group of 6 went with (locally caught) fish and chips, which was excellent and all were happy with their selections. They happily provided malt vinegar on request, as well. Perfect!
