We were in Kodiak for the weekend-had the grilled scallop as a treat and every bite was a dream. Nothing like fresh Kodiak seafood. The salad, dessert, and other things were fine, but the scallops were the main event!

Great selection of beers on tap, not just the usual ones. Plenty of televisions if you are interested in watching sports. Reasonably good menu. However food quality was hit and miss for the two times we ate there. Second time was lunchtime and the food service was slower than we expected. East location to find across from the docks.

Great Food, but a bit pricey compared to the lower 48, but right in line for the rest of the island. Lots of choices on the menu and the food was prepared well. The scallops were perfect, and the steak and calamari were first rate. Fast friendly service. Will definitely visit again

I used to love this place. Unfortunately, the quality of the service has deteriorated and the price of a side salad is now $14! My advice is to confirm the price of entire meal before you order. Otherwise you may be surprised when you get the bill. Also... cheer up staff. You make your $ from the customers. ;-)

Picture menu says it all - golden brown, fried, and plenty of beer. That might be what you're looking for, or it might not be. Our particular experience was that it was understaffed, and that the tab gambling corner brought the atmosphere down in a depressing way. True to expectations, the fried food was good, and exceeding expectations was the freshness of the salad and vegetables. Would suit as a reliable spot for some late-night munchies, but there are probably better options nearby for a good meal.

Good selection of decent food. Try the elk burger. Drinks at the bar are quick and correct, when sitting at a table the service is ok and friendly. Food is pricey for what you get, but this is Kodiak, you've been warned - get used to it. I don't suggest ordering what is called here (or anywhere on Kodiak) 'New York Steak', unless you don't care what it is, as long as it's a steak .. do not think this is going to be a New York strip steak, because it is not that by any means. Friendly service, pretty good food, cold native drinks, the only thing this place needs is free peanuts and throwing your hulls in the floor.

Ignored us for about 30 minutes and only bothered to check on us because she was getting ready to clock out. She was a horrible waitress. Other than her, great place and exceptional service. 8/10 would go again.
