To this day this firm has a score of 4.1 over 5 and the rating was based on 508 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is high, and it is based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we can think that the rating is very credible. If people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Mexican restaurant.
The food was delicious, quick service as we were there 30 minutes before the lunch crowd. The mango Margarita was huge and tasty.
Had a sweet 16 there and they were so helpful! Great service! And the food was delicious!
We stopped in on a weekend afternoon. We really enjoyed the food (5☆) and the service was fair (3☆). The food came quickly. I totally enjoyed the chicken house special and the shrimp fajitas and chicken enchiladas. The lime margarita on the rocks was excellent. More enthusiastic, and attentive service that was willing to answer questions and engage us, it could have been a 5☆ experience.
Food was really good once I finally got someone to wait on me. Had the Mexican steak. Definitely was flavorful. A different take on steak Ranchero but good all the same. The girl who finally waited on me was very nice but seemed a little stressed. I'll try again when they are less busy.
Great upstairs party room where you can enjoy a bar and buffet style for just your troop away from the regular dinning area. Also the staff was attentive to needs and didn't complain when kids were having fun in the dinning area next to is. Food is good - great selection of salsa!
Great place to eat. Low prices and good customer service. Food is usually prepared quick. Great place to go to of you are in the mood for Mexican; especially in a group or with a date.
The service was quick, my shrimp fajitas had only 6 shrimp with tails still on them... I'm guessing they expect you to put 2 shrimp on each tortilla... Tons of onions, it was okay, pricey for what you get.
I love this place. The food is always good and service is wonderful. Interior decoration is beautiful. Seating for large parties is available. They make me feel at home.
Good food and atmosphere.
The fajitas were really good today, free chips, salsa is mild and hot. Good taste for most of the items.
Service was great. Shrimp Scampi was mouth watering wonderful
Great soup, busy place, great otherwise.
What a wonderful experience and my waitress was the best I have had in a long time!!!
I had a wonderful experience going there. Nice place to relax, visit and eat a delicious meal.
Food was better then expected. I went almost 2 years ago and didn't care for it. If the chips and salsa was bigger, and the lady that showed us to our seats, I would have gave it a better rating.
Food and service was excellent!
Quick service at my husband's lunch time and great food.
Pretty authentic, great margaritas but the meal itself was a little overpriced considering the carne asada and shrimp had only 3 shrimp.. still really good, we just wont order that again.
Wow! Very good! Coming back ...
$ cheap eats and affordable party rooms.
Alejandra was a great bartender. Great conversation.great teamwork with his fellow associates while working.
Food was really good and service fast and kind. Would happily eat here again anytime.
The food is OK. I had the worst margarita in my life here. The hostess was talking with her boyfriend loudly in the foyer about some drama. I just got a fork and it was 15 minutes before the waiter asked if we needed anything. Would rather go to any other Mexican food place in town but it will do in a pinch.
They have huge shrimp and awesome blended margaritas.
Good quality foods and great ambient. The staff had good manner. Tortilla's were perfect and fresh and foods served hot and fast. The only negative point was the price list that was high for Mexican restaurant, but if you want an acceptable Mexican restaurant in Fairbanks, it is the best option
Good food, great service
Love the food! Drinks were pretty expensive though, almost 10$ for a drink! Otherwise my experience was pleasant
Ate at Gallo's almost every night while we were in Fairbanks watching our Grandson Rollie Nichols playing for the Goldpanners. Marco was great - he saved a newspaper article with a photo of Rollie in it!
Excellent!! thank you
Went to the Old Seward location for my Fiancee's birthday and had a great dinner with two of our best friends. All of the dishes we ordered were excellent, especially the shrimp! I've been to other Mexican restaurants before, but always have a good time at Gallo's!
Very clean, colorful interior with many beautiful designs. There was a bar for beer and cocktails at the opposite end of the room, and lots and lots of tables and chairs to sit at. We enjoyed the free chips and salsa and that the waiter brought us water without us requesting it. The wait for the food was not long at all, and the portions were big! Very much worth the money we paid. I absolutely loved the Spanish rice and that our dishes came with rice and beans and sour cream and guac. The guac was very yummy and so was the vegetarian quesadilla (loaded with veggies), the veggie taquito, and all the other dishes we got. I would definitely love to come back and would recommend this place to all.
40 dallors for two good deal with my girlfriend and me
Wonderful Margaritas and yummy Mexican food.
Tasty food. We waited a little bit for the food to come out, but nothing impractical.
Best Mexican restaurant in town by far
The food was trash service with semi trash as well only one thing was good was the alcohol and the Homies other Than that taco king needs a serve beer .
Ceviche was served luke warm and my chicken enchiladas contained several pieces of chicken bone. I nearly cracked a filling on it. Enchilada sauce and cheese were A.W.O.L. The enchiladas were dry as a fart. Shrimp cocktail was actually served borderline hot. We have eaten there many times in the past and the food was amazing and delicious with great service. Not so anymore. Will not be spending our hard earned money on mediocre food and poor servive.
Great service, Authentic environment, Good prices, and Delicious Chicken Enchiladas!
Better Mexican food than most of fairbanks but that being said there isn't great Mexican food here.
All I have to say is this...Queen Tostado baby!! It's like a classic taco salad with the shell deep fried. You can get shredded chicken, shredded beef, or ground beef. I have had it all three ways and its soooo delicious! AND...if you make it before 3 Monday-Friday, its $10 or something close to that.
Fast service. Clean pleasant environment
Always a great time here! Sundays they offer all-you-can-eat fiesta
Great food and service. I would go again.
Food was quite good, the portions are more than enough to fill you. The place was halfway full, and we didn't need to wait to be seated. However, I found the service lacking in details - they didn't bring the knives for food right away, the refills were slow, etc.
Great food great service. Usually 5 stars but there was a party that was being loud that ruined our experience
Awesome place to Eat! Good food and great service!
Lovely lunch. The price point is similar to other local restaurants. My husband had the lunch fajita and I had a ceviche salad that was wonderful. Brightly lit, good service. The only negative was there is no hostess at lunch and we waited a bit to be seated.
Well I ordered a quesadilla to go with rice and beans and got the quesadilla 2ith a big container or dry rice and then a smaller container filled to the brim with guacamole. I love their guacamole but I needed the beans. Color blind
Have ate here a lot Good food. Have have always had good service
Good place sports watching good drink's and now The food great carnitas, chicken tacos good stuff l love food I'm happy
Sat at the bar watching bartender tend to regulars, even eating food off of their plates. Left after after 10’minutes of being totally Ignored.
Excellent Service. best waitress and waiters. Very professional and friendly. Came to table with singing and birthday surprise. Thank you for everything!!!
This place is fantastic! We have been to southern California. We have eaten at authentic Mexican street taquerias. The tacos we had tonight were amazing and took me back to those places.
Decent food and service
Good food. Good casual atmosphere.
Great place to eat and watch sports. Excellent customer service here
Waitress was very slow & they were far from busy. Usually have a better experience eating here. Food is good
One of the better restaurants in Fairbanks. Fair prices quick service. Only 3 stars for menu selection and it does not taste as good as Mexican restaurant in the lower 48.
We showed up at the restaurant 10 minutes early for a 7 o'clock reservation and did not get seated until 740.We then waited 10 minutes before flagging a waiter down for menus, it went on like that until we left. The lack of anyone with management skills was very sad, to be truthful employees seamed to be nice and hard working. Honestly the food was ok but asking and waiting for chips drinks etc. Was exhausting, I actually felt sorry for the server's for the lack of direction. This has happened to me here in the past but not quite this bad, We will not be returning..
Great experience, with bountiful sized portions. Slightly overpriced for authentic Mexican food, but considering location, I wouldn’t hold that against it. Their margaritas and other mixed drinks are some of the best in Fairbanks, and staff are attentive to your dinning experience. Depending on where you are seated, the table and seating arrangements don’t give you much room. So for larger groups, ask for a booth!
Gallows has a very nice building and Spanish themed interior. We had a nice lunch both our dishes were fine service was excellent we would probably return if we lived in the area
Its what I would call American type Mexican food. With that said, Its good and I will definitely go back. The atmosphere was chill. Our service was fast too. It was my second time there and I ordered the carnitas plate and was really impressed. If I don't want to cook, its a great option.
I got a chicken avocado salad and all the lettuce is brown and old. Absolutely no care in being made. Looks like they took lettuce and tomato off of a burger and put a little chicken and avocado on top and called it a “salad”. You can literally take your $13 and get a better salad/bowl from Taco Bell. Not worth the money or time.
My grandma and I went here for lunch- it wasn't busy, food was good. However, the service wasn't as expected. Our server did check in on us, but she would leave as soon as my grandma would ask for something. The server had dropped off the check and said something to my grandma while she left the table again, leaving my grandma asking me what she had said. I didn't hear what she had said either, it was not only rude, but completely disrespectful. We also waited at least a good 20 minutes for her to come back to pick up the check and give back change. As we were leaving the restaurant, there were 2 more customers waiting for someone to bring them to a table. I think this restaurant needs to work on better customer service, even when it is not busy. Another note as well, as we were getting up from the table to look for our server. They were talking with the rest of the staff members, not even paying attention until it seemed like the manager of the restaurant had seen us.
Excellent food one of the best Mexican Restaurants I've been to. And I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants. All over the west coast and in Arizona.
Service was excellent. The food however was mediocre at best. The chip and salsa (which is usually everyone's first impression at a Mexican restaurant) were extremely underwhelming. They reminded me of unseasoned Doritos. With a little hesitation I ordered their tacos. Steak and chicken. To my surprise they were packed with flavor and portions were good. The rest of my family and friends concluded the same thing. Would definitely return.
We happened to chose this restaurant because of other's reviews and were not disappointing. It was casual enough for our taste yet very well decorated inside to satisfy any preference in dress. It was initially fairly busy but we were there somewhat late and found ourselves to be the few that remained around closing time. That worked out well because I really wanted to get some pictures of the chairs and some inside photos. The food was excellent as well. :)
Service is sometimes hit or miss.
A very nice night. Service was excellent. We ordered ala carte carne asada tacos, shredded beef chimichangas and margaritas. The tacos could have used a bit more flavor but top it with the table salsa and yum. Chimichanga was excellent and the magraritas spot on!
Decent food, wait staff can be great depending on who is your server.
The food was excellent, and our server was very friendly, informative, and helpful.
Best deep fried corn flakes in town!
Very good food, and they know how to pour a plethora of margaritas!
Delicious authentic mexican food. Tastes like it did back home.
The food was ok but took about 40 minutes before we were served.
Best Fajitas and Chili Verde in Fairbanks. Always my favorite go to Mexican Restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff.
Great staff!
Ok food and ok service.
Not enough space to say how TERRIBLY, HORRIBLE this place is.
Not bad but had better.
This place rocks! I eat here once a week. Carne asada steak is great! It's all good. But the Margaritas!! Best in town! Thanks Abraham and Edwardo! Everyone is so friendly!
This is the largest Mexican restaurant in Fairbanks. There is plenty of seating for families small or large or groups. It is smoke free and has a full bar available. Service is quick, friendly, and attentive. That combination is fairly rare in Fairbanks. The staff seems to have a lot less turnover than other restaurants in town. The menu is plentiful and the food is consistently good. Plates come out hot, with plenty of rice and beans on the side of the entrees. The fried ice cream is an excellent dessert. Kids eat free on Tuesday. Appetizers are half off in the bar area during some sporting events. Since some of the appetizers eat like a meal, both are good ways to save a bit of money. I would say that this is my favorite place in town for sit down Mexican food in Fairbanks.
Excellent food and service
Delicious food, great service and reasonably priced great for friends or just going on your own for a nice meal
I had lunch here. The only reason I cant give them 5 stars is because the music was too loud and it was not music. More like rap. The food was great and reasonably priced. Service was extremely fast.
I called in a simple order and was told 20 minutes to pick up. I arrived about that time and the food was being brought to the front (only reason they are getting the two stars) However, the order was not complete and was missing several items. The staff didn’t do much to make it up and had me wait an additional 30minutes for a chicken quesadilla... very disappointed. Hopefully the food will at least taste good warmed up because it definitely will not be warm by the time I get it all home.
It was okay until my husband found a hair in his food. It was inbedded in the cheese. Lost his appetite real quick.
Best place in town for margaritas
Great food and service. Hate the tinfoil wrapped to-go plates or we'd order take out more often.
Service is always exemplary and the tamales were as delicious as always. Their chicken chipotle is always amazing and a favorite.
Beautiful chairs. The margarita was good, but the food was bland.
The food was ok... Service was the best part, friendly and quick. The worst part is there is CARPET in the dining room/bar area, it's a resturant with a bar, why would you have carpet. I saw three people spill drinks at the bar and one waiter tripped and dropped food on the ground. The floor is discussing, I will not return.
Great service. The food was great and the salsa was delicious.
Very good Mexican food!
Good mexican Food YUM!
Great food and service
Amazing food amazing service
It's alright. Probably the best Mexican in Fairbanks but it's Fairbanks so consider that. Pricey but then again...it's Fairbanks.
Second time I’ve been here and got food poising. The service was bad and the salsa tastes like pickle juice and tomato paste. Not coming back by far one of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve ever eaten at.
Quiet afternoon for a light meal. Food quality and quantity were good for the prices. Chips and dips were a good start. Spicy dips.
Server was fine although I have no idea what his name was and he never gave it. Menus were gross and need to be wiped down. Seats need to be cleaned off before the next guests get to the table.
Nice atmosphere, great outdoor area.
It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t good either. The service was 2 stars, the atmosphere barely a 3, and the food was 2 stars at best. After all that disappointment imagine how great it was to see a $65 bill for two adults and two kids meals, no appetizers. Fairbanks is an expensive place to eat out at so that’s not a huge surprise, but it really makes on annoyed when the food can’t compete with what you make at home. We will not be going back.
Good food good place.
Waited 5 minutes at the door, sat down 10 minutes later brought stale chips and iceless water, waited another 10 minutes while watching the waiter walk past us 6 times So we left.
Decent price and portions
Get the buffet! This is such a great place for an after church lunch, or place to get GREAT mexican food! Love the staff! They have the family feel to them and will provide you with great service every time!
Great buffet on Sundays!!! Excellent service!! Could not be better!!
After being away for a couple years I can tell you that it was just as fantastic as I remember!
Good, fast service. Excellent food, especially for the price. Two dinners and beverages for $33 not including tip
We ordered a chimichanga and while eating it I almost chewed a piece of sharp chicken bone. We told the waiter about it, showed the sharp chicken bone, and he laugh about it and say oh looks like a basil. So before leaving the restaurant we ask for the manager and told him about the situation about me almost swallowing a sharp chicken bones. He pretends like “no understand English expression”. So warning to everybody who eats here. If you choke to death while eating a fried burrito with sharp chicken bones. They are not responsible even do they are the one responsible putting that item in your food .
Strait up slop food. It made me sick later that day. Will never eat here again.
Great food. Bartender super nice. Affordable!
My family and I really like this place. The service is great, and the food comes quickly. It's always good. We have been numerous times and it's always been good. If you are in the mood for Mexican food, check this place out.
Great food, excellent service. Food came quickly. The environment was really relaxed, great place for bringing a group
I wouldnt waste ur time there , the orders were all wrong , the chimichanga was raw not fried was mush and the cheese enchiladas want even meltef inside
Fast, attentive service and delicious food!
It was delicious, but customer service kinda slow
Ongoing chips and salsa, love it love it!
I attended a catered private party in the large upstairs room. The buffet was delicious with cheese enchiladas, chicken fajitas, steak fajitas, and a Chipotle cream chicken. There were also the requisite beans and rice. The Chipotle chicken was so spicy and amazing. Dessert was a huge tray of fruit and a flan. The size of the room allowed a large group of people to mix and mingle. A karaoke machine was rented for the event and we had so much fun!
Buffet lunch had a food selection and the food was good, however service was slow and not very attentive.
It's tasty, but not authentic. Delicious margaritas! All different flavors. The customer service is eh... the fish tacos are amazing.
Margaritas so strong you'll think you're in Mexico.
Who would think you could purchase good Mexican food in Alaska. Great service coupled with a nice atmosphere allowed for a nice evening.
All you can eat bar is awesome.
Server was okay. The food was great.
Service wasn't fantastic. Food was ok. Multiple bones in the chicken enchiladas.
I were impressed with the service because of their great patience with someone whom I were invited to lunch with were being a "difficult customer." I ordered quesadilla and found it quite good and full sized unlike most restaurants tending to serve half sized quesadillas.
I just came from the buffet on Wednesday. Got there at 1:15, Buffet goes till 3. Had always been happy with the quality and variety of the food in the past, but today it was awful. The buffet pans all had something in them but very little and it was getting old and dried up with very little new stuff coming out of the kitchen. Disappointed.
I arrived here with a party and not only did I not ever receive my food, the waitress had to ask what all ordered 5 times. I am unsatisfied and I will not be returning to this restaurant!?! This was horrible
Meal was traditional and well presented. Friendly service relaxed atmosphere.
I love the inside because of their booths. Extra comfortable and the design of the inside of the restaurant was unique. The food was pretty good. I ordered the Chorizo Con Huevos, that dish by itself was pretty good. They also added a bar upstairs which sounded pretty live. I never got to go up but definitely worth a trip if you want to eat then turn up!!
Fun place for fun drinks.
Good mexican place in Alaska. We just tried vegeterian dishes. The quesadillas and enchiladas were really good. I think one entree is enough for two but that can be subjective. Most enteee might come eith lot of rice and refried beans. They also give complimentary chips and salsa which is quite delicious. The ambience is pretty nice and decor is also well maintained. Recommend this restaurant for vegeterian and good service.
Great food. Wish they didn't add cheese to the guacamole, not everyone can digest cheese. Other than that, enjoyed it, will visit again
First time visit. Walked in an hour before closing on a Saturday. Fairly empty, one or two other restaurant customers and a couple at the bar. Service was great. Quick and responsive with welcoming attitudes. 5 star so far. I order the ceviche appetizer. Great. Still a five star. I order the menu-labeled "New" Chile Verde Enchilidas. When my plate gets set in front of me, I chuckle out loud since I'm drawn to a couple of over ripe blackened avocado slices centered right on my plate. Huh? So I push those off my plate. Spanish rice was dry. I sample from various areas of serving, even dry throughout. Ehh... oh well, let's try the beans. Bland. Never had to season my own beans in a restaurant. Green enchilidas were okay but looked like they had been microwaved at some point. Anyone that's microwaved leftovers knows what that looks like. So not too happy with that plate. As a visitor to the area for next couple months i would have like to find my go-to place for Mexican food. This is not it. Edit: Gave 3 stars since this visit may not represent them throughout the week. But if management reads these reviews, whoever worked the kitchen tonight failed miserably.
Recent transplant to the area and got in the mood for mexican. Unfortunately, not an enjoyable experience. We got chili queso as an appetizer, girlfriend got fajitas, and me chile verde. Final bill was $64. Service took a long time because waitress was busy with a big table and the food made me ill. It's something else to have a meal and for that meal to make you feel sick almost instantly, like acid burps and just feel like your insides are gross. I feel horrible. I won't be going back.
I have always enjoyed Gallo's and have no real complaints.
Not impressed at all. It was my birthday and was told your meal was free on your birthday, when I called. Ordered the carnita and the pork was dry and fatty, I was able to scrounge some meat for the carnita. The pork was not seasoned at all, the rice was also overcooked and the beans were crusty around the edges. When we came in I told my husband that I didn't want to tell them it was my birthday, but decided to do so after the meal. That is when I was informed that it was not free. When I expressed my disapproval of the meal the waitress shrugged her shoulder and said the manager was not in. Enough said other than never again. On the bright side the margarita was good, so one star it is.
Very good..top class service and best food and drinks...
Absolute worst place to eat. The staff is very unprofessional and un-attentive. Most of the staff is just sitting around watching tv while multiple tables waited for drinks to be refilled including ours. We asked a staff member for a high chair only to find the same guy flirting with a waitress instead. Coming from someone who used to work at a Mexican restaurant I found this place disgusting and would not recommend it to anyone. When we walked in the hostess noticed that the table that we were being seated at had crumbs of left over food so he just swept it off on to the floor. The menu’s were Oily and sticky. Salt/pepper shakers had left over food pieces and sticky finger prints on them. As for the food, it was just as unpleasant as the service. Our orders weren’t by any means complicated, But the server got it wrong multiple times we finally just gave up on trying to get what we ordered. Long story short. NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE AT ALL. Will never visit again.
Great food even if it is a bit pricy
Awesome food, awesome service, we really enjoy this place and highly recommend you eat here
TRY THE CEVICHE!!!!! Its to die for and the staff are always attentive and friendly
Fantastic service and extremely generous portions great place to kill some time
If you see me in here, I've been kidnapped
What kind of Mexican restaurant does not serve horchata? Chili verde was sub par, no flavor and waaay too salty. My server was standard
Outstanding service and authentic Mexican food.
Fast service, good food and our server made sure to repeat the order to verify.
Large delicious margaritas and good service.
Good food.... Service is great. Prices are a Tad high for the quality of food. But it has a good atmosphere and has kids eat free on Tuesdays.
Good food, great rellanos
We enjoy going here with the family. The food is good. The customer service is hit or miss. Always pleasant but sometimes slow.
I've been here three times on my vacation. The Halibut Fajitas are awesome and the all you can eat Sunday Buffet had all my favorite. I ate so much, I had to take a walk around the mall across the street. Yummy
Tasted good. Had a quesadilla, but very greasy
It was my first time to eat here but it was great. Staff very friendly. Bath room was very clean and pretty. The drinks are rock on.but the food was the best part of our family time there. If I ever come back to Fairbanks Alaska I will be back here.
I really like the chairs, here, and wished I'd taken pictures. This is definitely the best Mexican food in town. Any other Mexican restaurant, you might as well just go to Taco Bell. Super polite and focused staff.
The food was excellent, I ordered a halibut fajita which was very tastey however it had too many green pepper slices so I picked out a large pile of green pepper slices and then it was really tastey.
The waitress got our order wrong but it was still good. Refills on water was a little slow but the glasses were also pretty small. Food was hot and fresh. Atmosphere was AMAZING.
Mario is the best waiter for smiles and great service.thanks mario
Great service great food, I'm super picky and they nailed my order for me that's very rare:)
to go. has a nice atmosphere and generally good. food and service. It is family friendly and portions are good.
Always delicious. We've lived in over 15 states and this place is definitely in the top 3.
The food is great, the service is great. I highly recommend this place if you like Mexican food
Don't waste your time here, go to Miguel's.
I had the halibut fish and chips for Good Friday lunch. Good portion size for lunch (4 pieces of halibut), but EXTREMELY DRY AND OVER-COOKED...worse halibut I've ever eaten...tasted and looked like it was in the deep frier for hours....guess I should have ordered more traditional mexican entree, but it was Good Friday.
Worst service I've ever had. Took 45 minutes to get a drink and 30 minutes after that to even get a menu. Most fun I had was popping the balloons at our table and listening the the bar cheer. I won't be returning to this restaurant....unless they give me the giant inflatable Corona I was seated next to
Decent Mexican for not in the south. Good chain-food Mexican. Margaritas are good as well.
Good food there consistently consistent
Gallo's Mexican Restaurant...A+ food! The Mexican Restaurant everyone wants to eat at! LOOK NO MORE! Fantastic atmosphere, truly authentic. I am Mexican-American and I am grateful that Fairbanks has the food I enjoy to eat. The manager, "Eduardo" is kind and runs the restaurant with such professionalism. The food is delicious. TRY the hot chicken wings w/ranch. They are SO tasty!
Best mexican food in Alaska! Colorful dining area, the food is delicious, people are friendly, and the food is awesome! Yea I said it twice!
Worst service I've received in a while. Our server was Samantha - a very incompetent young woman who did not care about our experience or that way Gallo's is portrayed. Bad timing, lots of repetition and the wrong order...twice! Food is decent but awful service makes for an awful experience.
Nice family dinner place
Everything is always good. The wait staff are friendly. The prices are not too bad.
Good Mexican food in the cold
Good food good prices great service
Awesome Service and Great food Our favorite meeting place for small parties
Best Mexican restaurant in Fairbanks. Nice, friendly staff.
Good food
Not great. Looks more like a place to get Margaritas on a Friday night. Smells a little like a bar vs a restaurant. food is ok, but the taco king has great food around the corner
Good drinks, varied menu. Standard Mexican food but good.
The server was good, the food was ok, but the kitchen was very slow.
The staff is reasonably good as is the food. The restaurant is not as clean as one would expect and the lighting is atrocious. For some reason they have installed bright white LED lights when they should have installed soft white LED lights and certainly should be ulilizing a dimmer for their evening meal service. The lighting is one star for sure..... Might as well have been fluorescent lighting. :/
Amazing food and the strawberry margarita was excellent. Friendly service and colorful decor. Loved it.
Usually have good service here. Military friendly so that's a plus. The food portions are small for the price. They have a large selection of drinks but it's hit or miss as far as quality. It's Fairbanks Alaska so if you're looking for "authentic" Mexican food this is as close as you'll find.
Great food, endless chips and salsa, delicious drinks and colorful decor. All that in more than reasonable prices! Loved it
We love to split the chip & dip ,& enjoy a margarita
Pretty much the same Mexican American food you get at all Mexican restaurants. It was good food. Great table service is hard to find in Anchorage.
Mediocre food and service.
There was a dirty cup and dirty silverware, the server was very polite and switched it out however. The food was good but not worth the money spent. Have been there several times and it is always very loud and more of a bar atmosphere than a restaurant that serves alcohol. I was very disappointed.
Only decent Mexican restaurant in Fairbanks.
The food is amazing. I love the atmosphere. The drinks taste amazing. We had a bug in one of our drinks but the waitress came around and gave us free shots. Doesn't get better than that
Good bar for mixed Mexican drinks
Ok for Mexican food. Not great.
By far the best Mexican food in town. Never a wait and always friendly staff. Food is great and not over priced. Parking lot is a little jacked up when it's busy. The lunch buffet they do is great and I wish they did it on more days.
Clean , good food
Amazing margaritas + they do have a choice of american food
The chairs are super cool and the food is decent.
Super clean place, great service, amazing food. They had everything you’d want. I just wish they had horchata!!! The only fault of the restaurant. Other than that I loved it.
Friendly and efficient staff and excellent meal
Good food & service
Just had my Birthday lunch there and I've never been more dissatisfied with my meal! My steak fajitas were completely plain! No spice! I was so hungry I ate it anyways! But I don't think I'll be returning for a while!
Love the Mexican here! Also great space upstairs for private events.
Great food and great place with reason price.
Mexican food alaways good
Food was not very good was mostlty beans no meat and waited almost an hour and a half for the price I expected way more
Great service and food !
No garnish on the mangonata (simple bartending) other than that you can do a lot worse in this frozen wasteland
Food is delicious!
Average food, nice atmosphere.
Traveled here and found it to be a good Mexican food restaurant. Clean and the food was good and server was attentive.
Very hearty American style Mexican food! The only thing is that a lot of the dishes taste pretty much the same lol
Not that good for the price and I love Mexican food
Good food. I wish the server was more on the game. I would have liked a cocktail.
Loud and kind of slow
