It is rather difficult to give this place anything other than a really decent review... they have good food, with a fine variety of options (a nice array of breakfast items, burgers, pizzas, fish, chicken, pasta, and salads) for a place dozens to hundreds of kilometers from anywhere. Still the best salad bar in eastern Alaska!

Having eaten multiple meals here during a multi-day stay, the best I can give it is 3* The salad bar is the high point of the dinner. Prime rib on Friday nights was poor with meat that had a slightly off flavor. The sandwiches looked like a better call than the entrees. The desert was berry pie freshly baked in a factory far, far away. What this restaurant has going for it is location—there is nothing else around.

Food was delicious, hot and fast. But to be honest the salad bar was my favorite! Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling through.

Definitely NOT fast. We waited over an hour for our food after ordering. Evidently our order went in just behind a bus of 30. They've got to have a better system for such occurrences. We were literally sweating in the hot and packed environment while waiting. They are the only show in town but wishing I would have gone to market. Only positives- waitress nice and salad bar fresh. Other food not remarkable.

We drove from chugiak to try the food here. We got one menu, water and silverware, for two of us. Food arrived quickly. We got rasberry lemonade refills without asking, but one was mostly water. I was going to try the dessert, but the check arrived, and I felt like valuable space was being taken up. Overall, the food was good, service not so much.

Love this place! The prices are excellent, the food is fresh and delicious. We were on vacation for a week in Alaska in in the time drove all over the state. A total of 2600 miles. We stopped at quite a few diners but ate here twice because it was so good. We were seriously trying to figure out why the food was so much better than it should have been. They also have free wifi if you need it since you can't get service anywhere else. Awesome place. Don't hesitate to stop here. The gas station across the street had damn near anything you could ever want including guns for days too if you need anything like that. Haha. Very cool little town.

Fast Eddie's is a American restaurant with steak, fancy hamburgers, pasta, fish, salad bar. I had a bacon Swiss burger with a glass of Alaskan Brewing Company Amber Beer. My wife had a chicken Malibu burger with a chicken breast ham Swiss cheese lettuce and tomato. They have Alaska Brewing Company draft beers import beers and domestic beers there is also a number of California wines.

Honestly we go there for the pizza! It’s a really awesome giant pizza with a thin-ish crust. It’s absolutely wonderful! Every time someone goes through too we ask for it to be brought back through the boarder. We live four hours from Tok and we will drive for the pizza, it’s worth having!

Be aware that drinks do not come with free refills. I would definitely stop here again, but just know you are getting middle of no where food and you will be super happy.

Food is so so. I had the baked lasagna and it tasted like frozen put into a baking dish with a ton of cheddar cheese on top and baked. Greasy and wrong type of cheese for lasagna. My husband had a burger and it wasn't a fresh made meat patty. It was a mediocre burger. Our waitress did not have proper training. We had asked for a few minutes to look over the menu and she was literally back at the table in under a minute and did that 3 times in a row when I had asked her give give us a few minutes to look over the menu. We weren't even halfway through our dinner when she stood the bill right between my husband and I ad we are trying to eat our meal and says you can pay me when your done. Didn't ask if we wanted coffee or dessert or anything else for that matter. Poor service and over priced for food that left us feeling not so well after dinner. We won't be back.

Even though I was 2nd in line before the doors opened I sat 20 minutes while people from tour buses were taken care of first. I gave up figuring my breakfast would be far down the list in the kitchen. If you are in a hurry in the morning skip breakfast but otherwise this is a good place.

Great restaurant menu and staff. Stayed in one of their log cabins. Great space to maneuver a child's wheelchair inside. The cabin got two awesome queen-size beds, HD Directv satellite channels, a good heating and a table fan for those "hot" summer days. There's no Refrigerator, nor Freezer and no Microwave, but a cup coffee maker The bathroom is relatively small, with a sink and a bathtub Be awere, there is 4 steps, make it hard to bring the wheelchair in. We did not eat in the restaurant. But we called on the intern phone to order take-out. A large veggie pizza, 25 minutes they told me, just enough to run over to the liquor store, just behind of the restaurant to pick up a couple of cold beers. Then picked up the pizza, on the way back to the cabin. The pizza was delicious! This could easy been 4 stars, however, the lack of Fridge/Freezer and a microwave, and no portable ramp in a combination of a nightly rate of $174.00, well, that's barely worth 2 stars.

Great restaurant menu and staff. Stayed in one of their log cabins. Great space to maneuver a child's wheelchair inside. The cabin got two awesome queen-size beds, HD Directv satellite channels, a good heating and a table fan for those "hot" summer days. There's no Refrigerator, nor Freezer and no Microwave, but a cup coffee maker The bathroom is relatively small, with a sink and a bathtub Be awere, there is 4 steps, make it hard to bring the wheelchair in. We did not eat in the restaurant. But we called on the intern phone to order take-out. A large veggie pizza, 25 minutes they told me, just enough to run over to the liquor store, just behind of the restaurant to pick up a couple of cold beers. Then picked up the pizza, on the way back to the cabin. The pizza was delicious! This could easy been 4 stars, however, the lack of Fridge/Freezer and a microwave, and no portable ramp in a combination of a nightly rate of $174.00, well, that's barely worth 2 stars.

Great eatery! Pizza and burgers are popular with us Alaskans. Breakfast is also good here. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is comfortable. I always stop while visiting my moose camp in Tok. Highly recommend stopping and eating here.

Service was fast even though it was extremely busy. Overall the food was good. The ultimate nachos was very large portion but just ok. They were running a salmon special that was good. The BLT with avacodo was very good. The only reason I'm giving this restaurant a three out of five was because this place needs a deep cleaning. If this place was cleaned the experience would be more enjoyable.

Fast Eddie's is a must stop on the way to Fairbanks or out of town to the Canadian border. Are deep fried mushrooms are bomb and I also like the taco salad. Others in my party got omelettes. Portions were gigantic and we had many leftovers to bring with us. Mushrooms, mushrooms, mushrooms deep fried mushrooms are your thing then you must order some passing through here.

Driving from Skagway to Fairbanks, we were starving, and then we stumbled upon Fast Eddy’s. Not only was the food served quickly, but it was delicious and fairly priced. The logo of the restaurant is pretty funny as well.

Stopped in LATE when passing through, they closed at 11, I got there at 10:45, they happily offered to seat me for dinner. But I was in a hurry to get back on the road. So got a burger and fries to go. They were EXCELLENT! Large well made burger and large pile of fries. Both were very good, next time I am through the town I will make a point to stop here again!

Good diner to hit as a last stop in AK before the border. Ordered a prime rib sandwich and the portions were pretty big. I thought with it being a last stop it would be much more expensive, but the prices are pretty much consistent with the rest of AK.
