Eddie's is a divey sports bar. They have better drink prices than most places. They also have a pinball machine and two coin op pool tables, which I really appreciate. Fairly quiet on weeknights, which is nice too.

Just stopped in to watch basketball and drink a beer after a very frustrating work day. The waitress was great as well as the grilled cheese and ham sandwich I had to eat. Plenty of tv's for watching sports too

It's like putting on that old comfortable pair of shoes. It just feels right. Even when they are busy the staff are attentive and make you feel welcome. Besides they have a great special nightly and cold beer.

Honestly with no bias and I have had burgers all over Anchorage for the past 2p years and the hamburgers here are the best; fresh ground beef from Mr. Prime beef. Definitely order a burger and Thursdays after 5pm they offer awesome tender steak thats the cheapest in Anchorage.

Our waitress was amazing. We enjoyed pool and it was a good price. The drinks were good and so was the food. The only downside was a stinky almost sewage like smell in the back of the building... hubby suspected the buffet tables that werent in use but that may have been optimism that is wasnt coming from the kitchen... either way, all went well and we will be back. ♡

This place had a lot more value to me when I was younger, it has the smell of wet carpet and the only thing that changes is the staff, defiantly not a place to take someone for a anniversary but perfect for a drink night out, they even have a country club down stairs, to be honest the country club down stairs is where it is at, tight herbs, short shorts, and cowboy hats, it’s a good ok boys club and my kind of people.

Made a pick up order tonight for a Chef Salad and we also got a burger, the burger was completely raw through and through and the chef salad only had croutons, lettuce, cheese and turkey, it was very plain and bland. Not sure if the chef was feeling lazy and ready to go home but we surely will never be eating that crap again.

Food is good when you can get service. The big-boned blonde woman who works the day shift is very irretating to deal with, and it's costing them business. It takes far too long to get greeted, the follow-up after the menu has been dropped is too long, and sometimes my food sits at the window getting cold while the not-so-enthusiastic staff lumber around the bar. Once I do have my food they never follow up. I have to ask to have my water refilled, or it will sit empty. This is basic restaurant business stuff. Today I went there to get a chicken salad. Sat there for several minutes before even getting greeted. Once the menu was dropped, I sat there for 10 minutes ready to order, before walking out and going to Humpys. To Management: Hire more enthusiastic, competent people. You're losing money.

I went to Eddie's on taco Tuesday with a friend. As I looked around the bar all I could see was a complete lack of respect for it. The son or the person running this bar obviously has zero pride in it. Take a look at the ripped torn old tattered bar stools and chairs. Look at the 40 yr old stained carpet and foul smelling air. Now let's talk about the 4 women's bathroom toilets. 3 filled with waste and toilet paper and the 4th that I was forced to use had a black and yellow ring around the bowl. DISGUSTING! When a bar in Anchorage reaps its rewards off of alcohol consumption, and we know how much that is in Anchorage, you should respect the patrons and put that money back into your establishment. And not in your pocket. So I vow never to patronize this establishment again. There are very clean Mexican restaurants I can have a taco at, any night of the week. Shame on you Eddies.

Great energy in the environment and the lighting felt welcoming (11pm, not sure if they change the lighting), the ladies tending to the bar were quick, and any food ordered was served in a timely fashion. Pool tables, darts, shuffleboards, and a pinball machine. Will recommend to friends.

Not what it once was. The floors were sticky. There was a smell of mildew and sewage when I walked in around 3 in the afternoon. There wasn't many customers around. The staff were friendly enough but this place has gone downhill in recent years.

The few times I've been here had a little trouble with a couple of bartenders attitudes nothing major but kind of a whatever you need you don't know what you're talkin about kind of attitude I guess. I'm a bartender and I understand that customers can be a pain I try not to be a pain but when somebody is standoffish or acts like they know better after you identify that you're in the business is kind of irritating. I try to be an easy customer but sometimes in there it seems like pulling teeth. More like you would expect in a nightclub. Trying to keep people in line rather than spending just a moment with a customer and being a little more personal. I think part of the problem is it's a pretty big place but it's still a neighborhood bar. lots of activity in there if you're into that sort of thing and they do have dancing downstairs I heard never been there at night

Be ready to be assaulted by other patrons and then falsely accused of doing things to justify them kicking you out. Highly recommend not eating here, unless you like roaches.

Im not a confrontational person, ive never written a bad review on anything in my life. Not a hard person to please. Basically what happened here i got a couple beers was playing pool with some friends, decided to order 1 more beer before we took off. Wasnt a busy night at all, after ordering the beer about 10-15 minutes pass, still no beer and i gotta go. I just decide to tell the lady working the counter (bridget) to cancel my last beer. 3 minutes later she comes over with a beer says sorry. Then she comes back tries to get me to pay for the beer that i said to cancel. Gets offended when i say no thanks i dont want it, im headed out. Makes a big deal about it tries to make me feel bad and that it was my fault somehow, i can hear her complaining to all her co-workers about me mere feet away. Just ruins my night entirely for no reason. Id suggest eddies gets a new bartender, otherwise they wont be seeing me there anytime soon.
