Clean, nice staff, fantastic food. A bit pricy, and the wait after ordering was quite long. This was 4 pm, before the dinner rush. But as I said the food was wonderful and worth the wait.

The food is always good, the servers are awesome, and the coffee!!!!! I'm a bit of a coffee snob, but this stuff tastes like toasted marshmallows if you add French vanilla creamer. I LOVE their eggs benidict, the best I've had all over the state!

This is a diner style restaurant that serves breakfast all day alongside lunch and dinner choices. The quality isn't particularly high, but the price is good and you get a lot of food. The waffles were very good and they can cook eggs to perfection.

A Valley classic, although they sadly no longer make the giant cinnamon rolls. Wait staff are always friendly and there are always a few other tables' worth of diners there no matter what time we go (spanning 8 to 11 AM). Standard comfort food and Alaskan decor. Check the hostess desk area and advertising at the tables for contact information on several local businesses and a few charities.

First of off the service was horrible. There were more people working than there were customers and we still didn't get waited on for over 5 minutes (not even water). Then I ordered the big thick juicy pork chops. They were NOT THICK, in fact you could read a newspaper through them. I made a comment to my husband about it and the waitress overheard me. She said "Oh, yeah. People comment about that all the time. I guess I should have told you that they weren't thick". Yes, that is probably some information I should have known when I ordered, but didn't think to ask since the menu SAID they were thick and juicy. We will never, ever eat there again. Plus, I will tell anyone who asks not to eat there either.

I am from Texas where chicken fried steak is one of the main food groups (along with Bar-B-Que). I had been on the road for a month and was ready for a meal I didn't cook. Pulled in on a whim and was very pleasantly surprised. The chicken fried steak was very good. Expensive, but good. Of course everything in Alaska is expensive.

Ordered the meatloaf dinner it was supposed to be bacon wrapped, sounded great on the menu, when it arrived it looked like it had been reheated, and it had bacon sprinkled on the top. Friend chicken was dry. And pretty pricey.

Always a good home style meal. Anytime I'm missing a real comforting home cooked meal I go and enjoy their food. Staff have always been very polite and attentive. When my family visits we always stop in for a meal. Breakfast is as great as their dinners. I appreciate this place like no other being a single guy who doesn't cook. Burgers are awesome, big enough to fill up teenage boy. Prices are reasonable considering the amount of food they put out.

Worst place I ever ate at for chicken fried steak. I had the Chicken Fried Steak that tasted like it was a store bought frozen chicken fried steak. Not a good one either but a stale old one that wasnt even crispy.

Wont find a more expensive "family" restaurant in the valley. Kids menu is roughly $5 a meal, while adults pay close to $15 a meal for literally the same amount of food. But adults cant order off the kids menu. Oh, and coffee alone cost 4 buck PER CUP! no free refills on coffee here. Once I got the bill I noticed. No wonder they are so quick to keep your cup full. Staff is friendly enough but the ones in charge need to be taken outback and beaten with a hose. Would do a negative rating if possible. Feel bad because I couldn't leave a tip since I had to pay $24 for our coffees alone. Never coming back. Recommend burning it down. Oh, McDonalds tastes better too. And I hate McDonalds.

The staff are good and the kitchen crew is fast and accurate. The food is delicious and the quality is top notch for this style of restaurant. The serving size is a good size for the price. They also have a small buffet on Sunday's for dinner. The menu has a lot to it, and there is something for everyone. Their breakfast is available all day, and it one of the best in the Mat-Su valley.

On vacation, stopped at this restaurant for breakfast. I'm gluten free and have a hard time finding something good to eat. Waitress helped me with picking out poached eggs, hashbrowns and they actually had gluten free toast for me. Best breakfast ever. My husband enjoyed his breakfast and commented the pancakes tasted better than I hops. Glad we found this place.

Our breakfast here this weekend was lovely! I ordered chicken fried steak, boyfriend had biscuits & gravy. While the biscuits weren't quite as good as homemade, they were more than edible and the gravy for both the steak & biscuits was REALLY GOOD. The steak was crispy and tender. The wait staff were all friendly and kept the coffee cups filled - excellent! Everything was reasonably priced. BONUS- they have yummy French vanilla coffee creamers at the table.

Stood waiting for the hostess to seat us. Watched a server look at us without acknowledging us. There were maybe 7 tables seated. The server went back to the kitchen to conversate. We left shortly after that. Went to Red Robin where we were greated and seated in a timely manner.

Despite some bad reviews, my wife and I decided on dinner at Denali. We ordered the Bronco burger and the chicken strips. Both were amazing. The burger was my second favorite of any I've ever had. Out waitress was actually the table busser as the original waitress had left for some time. The busser was very busy handling the floor and front desk but did an admirable job and we gave her a good tip. Portions were big and we left satisfied.

One of my favorite breakfast joints on the a Parks highway. Omelettes without burnt eggs, wonderful eggs Benedict, and corned beef hash! Never had a sub par meal here, and the coffee is great too.

LOVE this place! We have been frequenting DFR for years because quality and service are always consistent. Food is freshly prepared and service friendly. Breakfasts are awesome and offerings varied. We call in for dinner take out often and it is never more than a 15 min wait. If you are looking for some good quality comfort diner food, this is THE PLACE!

My wife and I shared a Reindeer Sausage Skillet, which came with your choice of toast, which includes the sourdough that we always seem to get. In short, the skillet was excellent and memorable, with lots of sausage. The coffee was much better than the last time we were there. The service has always been excellent. Either go when you're really hungry or share a dish - the portions for every dish at our table were very generous.

Their "Gold Miner" Omelet was filled with processed "cheese spread" instead of using real cheese. Opening Omelet resulted in watery, greasy "fake cheese" base flowing from it (with abundance of floating chopped peppers and onions -- and two strategically placed dime-sized pieces of bacon at both ends). I only ate it because my friend kept encouraging me and said "it's fine; enjoy." It was like opening a barf bag and watching the contents flow out. I don't want to hate my friend from bringing me there, yet I do. She has at least promised that "we'll never return." I know George (the owner of restaurant) and wish he would have raised prices instead of sacrificing quality ingredients. I'm physically sick as I write this review.

I feel this place just didn't do much for me personally our server was extremely busy and seemed like the only server there in the morning to attend around 20 tables.
