REVIEWS OF Club Paris IN Alaska

I'm from Chicago transplanted in Anchorage for the last 6 years and I told my wife I'd like a great steak (like in Chicago) for my birthday this year. This is where she took me and it was superb! I had the shrimp cocktail, onion soup, baked potato and New York cut steak and everything was just like I wanted it. We had a party of 5, including another birthday and a retirement. They let my wife bring a cake of her own and the staff helped her light candles and serve it. The service was wonderful. Thank you everyone. Highly recommend, we'll be back soon.

Reservations are generally needed, as this iconic and historic restaurant it usually busy and is very popular (with locals and tourists alike). Luckily, you might be able to chance a seat at their rather expansive bar, but don't risk it if more than two of you want to eat here. The staff are great, friendly and engaging! Still, the food is the big draw... I have never had a bad meal here, and their petite filet and New York strip are always absolutely fantastic. Can also recommend the baked potato with their cheese sauce, sour cream, and bacon, and their steak fries are also done well. I seem to remember that they have have great desserts from dining experiences when I was younger, but I am always too full when dinner is eaten to know these days...

It's a very long way from the Eiffel Tower. Very very long way. Atmosphere was dark, and not in a romantic way. Service was abrupt. Food was ok, nothing inspiring. Beef filet was properly cooked, baked potatos were good. Halibut was fresh, moist, but plain. Salads were fresh.

Brian Hawkins

Amazing food set in a 40's supper club atmosphere.

Regina Panganiban

Robert Kuenning

Delicious hamburger and fries.

Julian Reffo

Classy place with reasonable pricing and friendly servers

Roberta Stevens

I was amazed by the number of daily specials! I assumed that meals would start at $16 and go up. Wrong, the highest priced special was that but several were less. Service good, food GREAT! Prices acceptable. Very busy place at lunch time. Parking actually was not an issue, got there at 11:30a & there was a space right out front for metered parking.

Jason Tomberlin

Not sure what the deal is with this place, some people in Anchorage rave about it and I could never go here again and be perfectly fine with it. Not a fan of the atmosphere, location, or seating. The food was fine, nothing to get excited about. The service was acceptable. Thanks but no thanks.

Jeff Jasper

Steadfast downtown eatery, best known for steaks. Best lunch in town, steak, burgers and sandwiches cooked to perfection. There was no wait and service is quick. Prices are very reasonable.

kalyn montague

Wow.... what a great place and very beautiful waitress.

Robert Crowe

Great steak, great service

Jeff B

A bit of Anchorage history and great food you can't go wrong here

Samantha Byrd

I've been less and less impressed with Club Paris, considering the price. They used to be my favorite place to get steak. The atmosphere is cool, but the lighting is terrible and the restaurant can get incredibly loud. Overall, still high quality food, but not as good as it used to be.

Renee Tatusko

Don't get the onion soup -- terrible. Not at all what I expected. Prime rib was excellent, as usual. And Steve is always very attentive about ensuring you have something to drink.

Keith Garwick

Best streak I have ever tasted. Not cheap but worth every penny. Great service.

Alex Hannan

6 star review!!! In my humble opinion the best restaurant in Anchorage! Amazing food and the service is superb!

Prices are a bit expensive here, compared to the rest, but the food looked good. A little too hot temp wise.

If you’re in the mood for a succulent, tender and cooked to perfection steak then Club Paris is a must visit restaurant! It was my wife, kids and I first time here and we truly enjoyed every bite. We wanted to start off light by ordering the fried zucchini which were out of this world good along with salads with their homemade dressings. They also gave us two rounds of their fluffy and delicious steaming bread. As for our entrees I ordered the 16 oz ribeye steak cooked at medium with rice pilaf and let me tell you the steak was so tender and flavorful. My wife ordered the 14 oz filet mignon cooked medium with baked potato drenched in delicious cheese which I devoured myself. The filet mignon literally melts in your mouth. Both our kids had the medallion special with fries which were absolutely tender and delicious. The service was awesome and the place was cozy, although a little too dim for my liking. Make sure to call in for reservations. They are super busy. The only complain I do have is why on earth do they have a table right next to the men’s bathroom? Enjoying a delicious meal along with a woof of poo as the door opens don’t go hand in hand in my opinion. Overall, delicious steaks, great service and good atmosphere. We’ll definitely be going back for those steaks!

Marnie AK

Been there for lunch and dinner, and prices are great. I've paid more, and enjoyed it less at other restaurants. Filet Mignon burgers! Nothing better! Prawns are huge. Honey Bourbon beef tips are Sooo good. Don't miss desert! Chocolate sweet potato pie. I'm from the south where they never thought to combine those flavors. They should have. The best desert is the Macadamia Nut Pie. It looks like a pecan pie, but it's so much better. The flavor can't be compared to anything I know. The top is macadamia nuts, but they've been covered in a glaze, so it's like a crunchy macadamia without losing the macadamia taste. I would give them more stars if I could.

Bene C

Food was good. It was summer time and the place was so hot. Had to eat fast and get out.

Liz Ess

It has been a few years since I was at this cozy establishment, but the food was quite delicious. The price tag reflected it, and obtaining any flavor additions to the steak was somewhat difficult, but the cut itself was still nicely prepared. The French Onion soup was delightful and the bar selections were also good, with a variety of selections from local distillaries. Definitely a "reservations" place if you are going on a weekend evening, as it gets quite crowded.

Thomas Greenman

A living piece of Anchorage history that has been a staple of fine dining. It's a family run restaurant whose meticulous running has kept it consistently awesome. The steaks are arguably the best in the city and the rest of the menu rides comfortably along with it (seafood and other great pairings). If you haven't been to Club Paris, you are missing out on some of the best dining Alaska has to offer. The atmosphere is a bit dark but it adds to its retro charm.

George C

If you like a good steak...come here.

Martin Jetté

Really friendly staff. Good portions, meet was cooked perfectly.

Laura Hill

It was a first date. The food was delicious, our server was funny and the ambiance was perfect!

Anne Dunham

Food quality was fantastic, our food server Meghan was really great! Best scallops we’ve ever had and the crab was amazing! The portions are big so beware! Thank you to our Uber driver for the recommendation! A definite solid 5*

Genevieve Opheim

Delicious food, great atmosphere... friendly staff. A delightful place for our anniversary dinner!

Michael Peoples

Food was really good. The burgers are the best! Service was good and it has a nice atmosphere.

Jared Barak

Filet Mignon is fantastic. Onion soup is mind blowing as well.

Ember Tilton

Good steak. Still can bring myself to try the escargot. Food is excellent, but the service is somewhat off. Not terrible, just not as good as I expect.

Teddy Ninja

Recommended from a friend who was going to make a six hour round trip just for this. Steak is amazing (get it with the blue cheese) and say hi to Captain Crab on the wall.

Raelyn Hulquist

The steak literally melts in your mouth! Yum!

Dana Wyrick

For all the hype, I thought Club Paris was "just OK". With so many better, more exciting options nearby, I doubt I'll ever go there again. The food was only OK, my fish and chips were undercooked and the meat was darker than any halibut I've seen. The steak sandwich was OK, it's something I could make at home. They serve champagne in a sherry glass, which seems odd for a place that thinks it is so fancy. When we walked in, there was no hostess and the bar tender did not offer any help. When we asked her, she was rude. The hostess showed up and without so much as a smile, asked if we had a reservation (its the middle of the day and the place is not full up). We didn't have one, so they sat us right next to the kitchen where I could see the pre-made, sad looking little salads in the cooler. The atmosphere screams, "We are just barely hanging on, and our decade has passed" with an old school, East Coast vibe that reminded me of movies about rude New Yorkers. The place was dark, dank almost, and begging for someone to sink a few $$$ into upkeep. The waitress was not especially friendly. It was just a mess. For the money, keep walking to any of the better restaurants very nearby. Ginger is a favorite, and so is Sullivan's Steakhouse.

JoAnn Price

Club Paris is my favorite place to eat in Anchorage. We celebrate our anniversary there and always have a great time. The steaks are fantastic, the key lime pie is 5 star, the coffee is good, they have a nice selection of wines, the staff is pleasant and the atmosphere is amazing. Our favorite thing to order is the lunch "Paris Special" and anything on the dinner menu.

Robert Homer

One of the best steaks in Anchorage!

Ken Mulder

I would put is on my top 5 best steaks ever! Drinks & dessert was just as good. Our server was excellent. If you’re visiting Anchorage, this is the place for lunch or dinner.

cathy b

Great place and super good food! The prime rib is outstanding to say the least, it's a must menu item to order, reservations highly recommended. Service is quick and professional, atmosphere is bar but eclectic Alaskan style.

Dennis Helmar

Amazing local restaurant would recommend highly.

Olga Moza

Great food and wonderful service! A little cramped but cozy enough to enjoy an amazing food. Don't come more than 4 people or you will be very uncomfortable.

Corey Gardner

Best steak in town, no question

darren osburn

Came here when we were in Anchorage last year by recommendation from a friend. What a great recommendation it was. Came with some friends for dinner- good idea to make a reservation. (Also, this is an old school steak house, there is not a huge amount of space. Be prepared to sit close to your party.) Got a rib eye steak, baked potato and a cup of French Onion soup. My wife had the filet, same potato and a ceasar salad. Both the soup and salad were perfect. The steak was perfectly seasoned and great marbling for flavor. The potato with the cheese on it was so good. Almost stole the show. My wife said the filet was among the best she had ever had. We were to full for dessert. (We actually ended up walking down the street to Wild Scoops and got a mini scoop.) I went back a day or two later and had the filet burger. (They actually grind up the previous nights left over fillet mignon and make patties out of it!) Absolutely the highest quality burger i may have ever had. Just amazing! If you are in Anchorage this is a great place for lunch or dinner! Great classy old school steakhouse and bar.

Alexander Butt

Fantastic fish and some of their steak. Dont order the baked potato. We do a company Christmas party there so idk about food quality vs price

Miya Fowler

The best ever omg

Kyle Hampton

Dark. Warm. Taxidermied fish and old time Alaska on the walls. It feels like an old steakhouse in Alaska. The physical menus feel like they were updated 15 years ago, but the restaurant is serving up classic steakhouse fair. I haven't had a protein that wasn't cooked properly. The lunch burgers are pretty fantastic also.

Peter Regan

Great Food we just loved it. The chefs must be famous

Eric G

Best burger in town, they use ground filet mignon.

Marie Rowan

high quality food

Kendal Larson

Attentive service and a quaint, quirky interior combine for a great dining experience. An Old fashioned at the bar will help you kill time if you have a wait, which is worth it. Try the blue cheese stuffed filet for a real treat The in-season halibut fingers rock as an appetizer too.

Henri Williams

A classic steak and seafood restaurant with an old school flair. Absolutely loved it!!

Steven Meyer

Food really good, service excellent. Food served quickly for a traveler in a rush just a fun place to eat.

Cierra Bennett

Amazing food, great prices, and there napkins smelled amazing ❤️

Sam Precie

Great food, great service, great conversation, great time! Always a winner.

David Roberts

Club Paris is my go-to place when in Anchorage! Also, they are one of the few that serve escargot year round! You can't even get them in France off-season.

Dennis Johnson

Good food, good service. Seating for small parties. 2-4ppl

Will Tremaine

Best steak in town hands down. Historic, too.

רונן ערן

Excelent place for eat a meat

Aaron Green

The atmosphere is awesome and the steaks are amazing! One of the best steaks I have ever had!

lilbear Kinney

The Rubens was tough and over cooked for me

Cynthia Gandy-Higbee

Two words: incredibly good

Charlotte Van Zee

Steaks aged on site! Lunch menu is also delicious!!

Nena Fuller

Very nice to see the club Paris since I was a kid. The king crab couldn't get enough. It was so good.

Lynnette Gronlund

Wonderful steaks with great sides and sauces. Expensive, but, worth it. Tables are cramped together, but, great friendly service. Yummy desserts.

Paul Carmichael

The food and wine were exquisite. Chelsea, our server, was very accommodating. We went on a Wednesday night and the place was packed, so I feel like we discovered a local secret.

Jaella Morris

This place has a great atmosphere and staff. The food is always fantastic. Definatly the best in Anchorage for a steak/seafood dinner. If you plan on dining here a reservation is highly recommended. It can be a wait to get a single seat at the bar.

Donna Martin

An old-time Alaskan restaurant serving seafood and incredibly tender steaks. Tenderloin stuffed with blue cheese is their specialty--melt in your mouth delicious. My table mates said the halibut was great too. Very popular so you need reservations or sit at the bar.

Dorothy Priest

Service was excellent. Food was good.

Sandra Word

Would highly recommend Club Paris. We ate there twice. Once for a burger and once for a steak. Both meals were delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Nani Palmer

Love, love, love this place. Some of it is nostalgia but mostly it's just the great food. Long time Alaskan restaurant with some of the best seafood and stake in town. Top notch service to boot.

Rick Recaido

I had a good time and the food was great. I had the rib eye steak and it was very good. The lights in the restaurant were very low but there was adequate lighting at the tables. Various choices of local IPAs were available and the atmosphere was great for socializing. I would go back at least once a month because it is a bit pricey, unless your paying for yourself.

Kelly Penn

Walked in today during lunch. Staff was incredibly rude and when we sat down no body came to try and take our order. We eventually left after being unable to flag anyone down.

Martha Sparks

Very good steaks

Forrest Odom

Everytime I've ever gone, which is atleast once a year, is always over priced garbage food with the illusion of fine dining. Lousy service and when I have complained was told if I don't like it i can pay and leave when I didn't even touch the food. I have gotten better food from truck stops

Michal Frystacky

It's seems to be a popular spot, but the service was quite slow and the food was only okay. I haven't tried the sandwiches, which i heard were pretty good.

Natalie Knight

Burger was over cooked and no flavor... four steak fries and three were like potato chips. Why are they in business!!! I would rather have gone around the corner and got a free coke with great bear battered fries.

Cyndi Street LeTourneau

Our waitress Bernadette was a sweetheart. It was my birthday and she paid for my cheesecake that I was taking home because I couldn't eat another bite. I was so full because the food was beyond wonderful . my husbands steak was so tender and so yummy he didn't need a knife or steak sauce. I had the saluted scallops and they were the best I have ever had. All homemade and it didn't even cost as much as we thought it was going to. Can't wait to go back.

Nick Hagerman

Stopped in here for a drink or three on our honeymoon. The staff is amazing and when the owner found out we were there on honeymoon he insisted we have a dinner on him. He served up a platter of his famous steak, halibut and shrimp along with some other tasty treats. This is defiantly a must place to stop when in town for a meal and to meet the great family and staff that work there. They definitely make you feel right at home.

David Stock

Great experience. The filet mignon was cooked perfect and their seasoning blend did not disappoint. Drinks were always full with staff checking in just enough. It was also nice that they had an option for low carb sides. Will be back for sure.

jana h. ginter

I had filet mignon due to seafood allergy. It was cooked perfectly, rare, just as I had ordered. My only complaint is the marinade was way too salty.

Scott Glegor

GREAT food.

Goog fish food, best services, good for family

Sarianna Jones

Great food and amazing staff. Fast service and great portion size for what you are paying. Husband and I got the shrimp cocktail and the soup of the day, French onion, and the 8oz fillet for myself. He recived the 12oz fillet. Only thing is that the table was a bit close to others, but that may have just been because they were making room for Valentine's day. Overall great experience and would go back again.

Emily Fairchild Cutler

What do you go here for? The steaks and steak burgers. This time I got the BLT because I felt like I wasn't hungry enough for a burger, but then I tried a bite of my husband's burger and really regretted not getting one. By some wizardry, the burgers are extremely flavorful without being heavy and overly filling. BLT was fine, of course, but go there for and order the burger. :) Any burger. Yum. Very low lighting in the restaurant, if you like that sort of thing. Cool decor and good service.

Leonard Mack

A great place for a great meal in Anchorage! We got fast and courteous service. This place came highly recommended... and after eating there I know why. If I am ever back in Anchorage, I'll be stopping there again!

Dien Haas

Great service, and great steak!

melinda brooks

This place is considered a landmark If you are looking for a1960 honky tonk,th is is the place.

Kevin Anderson

This was a very good restaurant. Me and my wife are glad we came here.

Russ Reno

Wow, never thought I would see the day that I would rate Club Paris with two stars. Please tell me I have made a mistake. I have always enjoyed my 16oz filet with a cream brûlée to end the evening. I have ordered the same thing for over 30 years. Granted I arrived just before closing time and no body likes the last minute shopper. However, something was just not right. I was not offered bread, I chocked that up to arriving late. I did not recognize anyone. I chock that up to getting old. :-) The service was adequate for that time of the evening, however, the food took 40 minutes to arrive -- under cooked and the I swear the cream brûlée tasted like a powdered knock-off. Please -- someone tell me I am wrong. Has my favorite place to have a premium steak been sold to a want-a-be that is cutting corners? I will not give up on my favorite past-time. I will give them another chance, but tonight it was horrible and I hope my fears can be simply chocked up to poor timing to visit my favorite pastime.

Rocky DeMello

Melissa and Liz were GREAT Servers, Stephanie cooked my Filet Mignon to mouthwatering perfection. Easily the best steak I have EVER had in town. Be sure to save room for deserts, they have some wonderful pasties. Recommend you stop by.... Aloha Rocky

William Hill

The club Paris special at lunch is fantastic, also... Probably best steak in town. Definitely highly recommend.

Brody Lemaster

the best place i have ever ate the food is nice and greasy and it has the right lol

Justin shults

Went here for a great dinner. We sat at the front of the house and it was pretty good. The decor is old and a little quirky, but it adds to the ambiance. Was a little dark, but the lights at the table helped quite a bit. I ordered a side Cesar salad and it came but the dressing was a little off. The server was very nice about it and took it off the bill, they even offered a green salad at no cost, but I didn't want it. Ordered the ribeye rare and it came out cooked almost perfectly. The only issue I had was they served it on a sizzling hot cast iron dish, which was nice, but it continued to cook the underside of the steak. The steak was still so tender and the seasoning was delicious. I had an dirty martini with gin, which was absolutely delicious. This is a great steak restaurant for Alaska and definitely will return.

Jared Last

I would give 4.5 if possible. Great New York's but decided to give the filet a try.... stick with the New York. Tastes better and easier on the pocket book.

Tony Boneta

Food was very good (best steak in Anchorage) our waitress ruined the atmosphere with her snarkiness and curt remarks. She missed drink orders and totally screwed up the bottle of wine we ordered. In 25 years of eating here I was shocked at this type of service here.....not the norm by any means. Sure hope this was just someone having a bad day. Will eat here again, just not as soon as we would normally do.

Elizabeth Pruitt

The food was okay, service tried...overall we waited thirty minutes after our reservation was supposed to be,was forgotten a few times in the chaos, service truly seemed to be trying and ours, Chelsea was extremely nice and tried to be attentive. Very sweet and nice girl. It was great to say we've been and I loved my seafood but otherwise wouldn't come back. I also do like that you try to help by precracking the crab but it actually ended up making it far more difficult to smoothly assess the meat. Maybe offer it when person it ordering?

Max Zinkand

The most tender steak. Good stuff.

Dorothy Massey

This place is great as has that old comfortable feel to it! Food is excellent!!

ashley johnson

The food was good, but the atmosphere and mostly the service ruined the experience. We had a reservation for our family of 6, and got the full experience of appetizers, drinks, salads, entrees and desserts. As we were eating dessert and enjoying time with family, we were told that the next party for our table had arrived (and could we hurry up and leave). We are a conscientious group so we hadn't been there for hours. It really put a sour mood on the entire experience - there was no mention of this when I made the reservation or when we were seated. We put down some serious (!) money this evening and I know none of us will return here for another meal.

Rob Moriarty

The workers make it fun!

Leslye Taylor

Excellent food and service! If you're looking for a great steak, Club Paris is the spot

Melanee Ellis

Food was excellent. Stopped by for lunch before heading to the airport. Service was fast and courteous. Lighting was a little dim even by the windows.

Lisa Lawrence

Amazing little big place with great food, quaint atmosphere and superb service! The blackened halibut was amazing and petite filet and shrimp were worth every penny!

Jlynn 0lmstead

Awesome service & Great food

alex e

Best steak in town. The filet is unbeatable in close second is the New York, followed by the baseball cut sirloin. For the price and size, I'd say the New York here is always a better bet than the rib eye. Also, try the cajun stuffed mushrooms. They're on the heavy side, but honestly incredible.

David O'Brien

Great food, great location downtown. Known for its fabulous steaks and macadamia nut pie!

Vilusia LP

Amazing experience all around. Great staff great decor, and great food! If you can deal with the price it's more than worth it!

Theresa Austin

Fantastic food, wonderful service!

Debra Weinberg

Club Paris was really good , good food and great service. I'd go back!

Melinda Miller

It had really good food. Definitely make reservations. We just walked in and they had 1 small table that was not reserved. They were very busy. The server kept our water glass full.

Donna Rexford

Very good ... would go back again.

Mr Smith

Great local place for stakes.

Judith Savage

Been coming here for over 45 years of the only places where the quality in product has never changed... worth every penny this place

Pat Huesers

Food was good, server was fine.

Allan Carraway

Great historic local resort with some of the best cuisine in town. French dip, Bleu cheese burger, fish and chips, and other standards are made to perfection. Get there early for lunch or make a reservation for dinner to get a spot.

Nigel Sharp

Good atmosphere, little dingy and not what I expected from the ratings it gets... Steak was presented in a mediocre way, tasted fine but nothing mind blowing.. (had the filet mignon), also the Carrot Cake desert was good but again poorly presented on the plate.

Shane Bossom

Great steaks and great service. Their whiskey sours are delicious. For dinner we had the ribeye, which was cooked perfectly and the daily special which was a NY strip with a pepper sauce that was delicious. If you're looking for a real taste and feel of Alaska, this is your place.

Mike Thiemann

I highly recommend it,at least before you die,or if you want to impress your date lol

Desaree Taylor

Most amazing restaurant in Anchorage. Price is great and the quality and quantity is superb.

Cynthia Keefe

Best steak ever! Scallops are divine. Best battered halibut in town.

Seng Kemokai

Bomb and reasonable prices. Anchorage landmark.

Ciclo Andinismo

The best gourmet hamburguers in Anchorage!!!

Brad Jones

Loved this place. Excellent welcoming service. Food was fantastic, especially for the price. Would recommend over some of the more touristy spots.

jonathan pizanti

I lived here a long time agao and my dad told me the best filet he ever had was from Club Paris Anchorage. I had to try it up on a business trip. 13 oz cooked to perfection and very nicely seasoned. I paired it with a little friend wine and Pendleton 1910 for dessert. I would recommend this place and it looked like many other did too as it was full.

Deanna March

This was the best hamburger that I have ever experienced

Kathleen Durland

Great service food was awesome

desiree matter

Excellent food and Service!!!

Mehran Irdmousa

Location is great right in downtown. The service is excellent. My server was very friendly and great. I ordered the bourbon sirloin day special. Was not a big fan of it but ok. I tried their battered hallibut fingers it was great. For dessert, I tried the Burlee. It was good but the top was way too hard. Will be back....likely....

Chris Kibb

Great dining experience.....always a favorite!

GREAT tasting burgers for the lunch special! Filet mignon burgers from the prior nights dinner specials!!!

Nico Tapafua

Steak Steak Steak. Probably the best medium rare steak I have ever had. The food and the drinks were great. The steak melted in my mouth like butter and i took every bite happily. Id recommend this place to anyone.

Mary Gavila

Slow service; mediocre food; high prices

Tom MacDonald

Fantastic steaks, their filet is melt in your mouth as well as the ribeye. Megan makes wonderful rye Manhattans and is a great host. The atmosphere, history, food and drinks make Club Paris a must see in Anchorage.

Wendell deOliveira

Food is great. Service at lunch is some of the worst I've had anywhere in the 100s of places around the globe I've been and worked. So bad for the 1st time ever I didn't want to tip....and that's really bad coming from a former server and restaurateur

Steve Decker

Such a great place for a cozy dinner, old school supper club with fantastic food and atmosphere!

Mary Cocklin

I am sure there are so many reviews out there...but I will say first, I LOVE steak tips...medium rare...and they deliver! I usually sit at the bar and am welcomed like one feels uncomfortable as a 'party of one' while sitting at the bar and dinner is not an inconvenience to the staff at the bar; they are happy to have you enjoy your meal, chat with your neighbor, and find out what Anchorage is all about. Best advice about lunch...come early, enjoy a special item off the luncheon menu and you will not be disappointed.

Rich McKee

More casual atmosphere than expected. Food is good, prices on the higher side. Friendly service.

John Griffiths

Best bar by far in anchorage. Good food too

David Burdett

Served by Chelsea. She was amazing. Excellent service. Great atmosphere. Food is awesome. Do yourself a favor when visiting Anchorage. You will not be disappointed!

esther merida

Nice and cozy place, delicious food and service, 100% recomended.

Adam Kuenning

Best burgers I have ever had.

Robin Watenpaugh

Great dinner. Staff is friendly. Eclectic atmosphere.

Becky Kucko

Loved the experience. The food and the server was awesome

Ben Durbin

One of those cool old places with a nice, dark wood bar, tall walls between the booth seats for privacy, a simple menu with really quality items and great whiskey drinks. This is the type of place you go for a fantastic steak and Old Fashioned or Manhattan. The staff is perfect for the vibe. If you make it for lunch they have really great burgers, too, made from their own streak trimmings. A true Anchorage establishment!

john bavendam

Filet mignon was amazing and the escargot french onion soup was very delicious pieces of onion or a bit big and the potatoes that came to the steak or rather large for my l Liking

Douglas Markussen

Even with lunch reservations, we were seated in the worst booth in the place - right by the kitchen entrance. It was loud, with dishes clattering and "in" and "out" shouted by the servers every few seconds. Our server had a loud, fingernails-on-chalkboard voice. She argued with us about what the menu said and slapped the menus down on the table. She failed to return to the table the entire meal. When we finished eating, she didn't even offer dessert (although she did to other booths). Instead she just dropped the tab on her way past. Needless to say, not the best anniversary celebration we've had. No return visit from us.

Leesa Johnson

One great place to eat in Anchorage. Steaks were awesome. Like everything else in Anchorage, it's pricey...but this one is well worth it. Halibut appetizer was fresh and tasty. Prime rib was tender and perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and helpful.

Angelika Lynch

Very delicious burger. I like the dark and cozy atmosphere and the server was really nice. So was the company.

Randy Bonn

I was not as satisfied as most of the recent reviews. It was so dark that I had to use my flashlight to read the menu. I got the idea from other patrons who were doing the same thing. Very noisy due to how many tables they have packed into the place. Many time I found myself leaning forward just to hear what was being said to me. The food was so-so. I came here for the Prime Rib, but they were out, so I ordered the 16oz New York strip, with home fries. Although the meat was very well cooked and full of flavor, nothing else on the plate was worth eating. The home fries were to greasy and old.The french onion soup was tasty but not worth having twice. All in all, I walked away disappointed.

Michael Lott

Good service great food

Patrick Lawless

Excellent meal, service, good find.

Stop then and had appetizer platter with some friends. Was soooooo good!

Devin Bartlett

Unbelievable! Best in Anchorage, hands down.

Amy Folger
