I love this place! Every time I'm in Ketchikan, I have to eat here. The burgers are simple but delicious, no frills are needed. The building is small and it can get crowded but that's what carry-out is for. All the people here are awesome. I highly recommend everyone give this burger joint a shot.

Didn't visit here. But saw folks going in and out. Beer ads in window. Looked like maybe some outside seating. Burgers and fries, safe to say they're good with or without beer.

Good food but terrible attitude especially form the pretty young blonde girl. It seems like she hates tourists from the cruise ship, as many locals do. I felt the need to vigilantly watch them cook my food. I was happy with the taste but I am not a Happy person so when you're not friendly to me, I don't turn the other cheek like Jesus says. In all honesty, if it weren't for the cruise ships, most people up here in Alaska would be slaves to the oil industry.

It took 1.5 hrs to get our 3 burgers delivered 1 mile away. Upon calling to see what the delay is, (after initially being told 45 minutes) they said that more order was forgotten . Finally received the burgers and while not the worst I've ever had, they definitely aren't in my top 20.

Best burger place in town. This burgers are cooked with charcol which gives that distinctive and unique taste to it. You can literally create the burger you want. Since is Ketchikan which is a famous fishing town you can get also hallibut burgers. If you are in a rush tried to call them half an hour before they open otherwise the wait can be long and the place is super small but it is all worth it.

Best burgers in town! Whenever we visit Ketchikan we always stop at the burger queen for the juicy beef burgers and crunchy fries and onion rings. Not much seating so plan on being patient as there can be a wait depending on time of day. The wait is worth it for the yummy hot food and cold drinks.

Amazing recommend toasted marshmallow milkshake sounds awful doesn't it they have like 32 different milkshake flavors but trust me this is the best one i thought the same thing but tasted like heaven in a cup fish and chips are amazing better than in London if you live in Los Angeles I recommend going to Foster's Freeze ask for root beer freeze it is like a root beer float except they blend the root beer with the ice cream amazing the place kind of looks like Burger Queen but trust me amazing milkshakes

A cruise ship crew recommended this restaurant to me. He told me most of their staff come here when ship docks. so I decided to give it a try and I was glad I did. My friends told me the burger was delicious. I really loved my fish and chips. It was cooked just right and the batter was crispy. The fries were golden and crispy. It took a bit of time before we got our orders, but it was worth the wait. It's a small little restaurant with just a few tables and a few seats outside. Very decent prices. I really enjoyed this restaurant!

In 2005 I was a "Work and Travel Program" participant in Ketchikan and lived there for 3 months. Now I live somewhere around Europe but sometimes, still find myself reminiscing about those burgers. I really hope sometime I'll find the energy and the funds to travel literally half way around the world and get another bite from your heavenly burgers. Because they are well worth it.

Fantastic burgers and fries. We saw the reviews and started planning to be here a couple of months ago. Our van driver (Jess) confirmed the food was every bit as good the reviews. Nice to hear that from a local, not just tourists who've been denied a good burger for days. Was not disappointed. DO NOT try to get a burger just before you have to be aboard your ship. Give them time to make it, and yourself time to savor it.

We were on an Alaskan cruise in Ketchikan. While there, we asked a local where to eat and drink. SOOOOO, they pointed us to Asylum and Burger Queen. First of all, inexpensive craft beer was served, alongside some of the best burgers we've ever had. Expensive places can eat their hearts out. The owner and bar tender and a couple of the locals were absolutely hilarious and fun to be around. We had a great time, great drinks, and awesome food.

Food can be a bit slow here but nobody cares and there's a really good reason, the burgers are broiled over actual charcoal and they taste AWESOME! Definitely worth any wait. Arguably the best burger on the island. There are many tasty things on the menu, something for everybody pretty much, but I never got past the burger. The fries are a very worthy addition to the basket and they rule in their own rite. You won't be sorry.
