Great place to go on the beach for a burger or Shrimp Basket. The Shaka sauce is awesome I like to put it on everything. A little pricey but it's literally on the beach. Customer service has always been pleasant. They are always having events going. There is a nice little shop in the front. Awesome place for the kids with a out door play area. I highly recommend it if you have a family.

If you like an open air restaurant, then this is the place for you. It was extremely hot when we were there. It is a nice place with friendly staff. Food was a bit pricey and burgers weren't that good. It's right beside the beach so you have good views depending on where you're sitting. Parking wasn't the best. Overall, it's a pretty cool place, but geared more toward the younger crowd.

Mediocre food and terrible service. Waited two hours to get seated. Then it took an hour and fifteen minutes to get our food after we ordered. Had to ask more than once for drink refills. When I shared our experience with the manager, she gave a less than sincere apology and actually just tried making excuses. She said “let me see what I can do for you”. She then came back ten minutes later and said I took 10% off your bill. However, my bill came to $76.00 and she only took off $5.60. I didn’t even bother bringing that to her attention since we’d already been there four hours. Reading all the other one star reviews it appears this is pretty typical for this place. Every other place we ate at on vacation we had a good experience. Unfortunately, we ate here on our last night and it definitely ended our vacation on a bad note. Go eat somewhere else then pop in for a couple drinks and the live music. thats about all this place is good for.

Not good. Out of oysters. Ordered a Jim Beam on the rocks. OUT OF JIM BEAM. Order a Captain and Morgan for my lady no Captain Morgan. Dinner just okay till waiter decided to open up the overheard door beside us and the door now over our table is dripping water while we are trying to eat. Use to be a good place but I guess all things change.

We didn't even get to eat! Super crowded and waits are soooooooo long! Activities are fun at first, but they get boring after a while. Also, not many kids drinks being served. I witnessed a kid asking for a drink(he didn't know it was alcoholic because it wasn't lacked on the menu) and the guy very rudely told him that he couldn't get the drink because it was alcoholic. He embarrassed the child very badly in front of many people. I don't recommend!

Ridiculous and a waste of the last night of our vacation. We drove over 7 hrs to have a good a time. We visited here our last night, got on the wait list and after checking over 3x and 3 hrs later they had closed down the check in counter out front and the kitchen had less than an hour to close. We were completely forgotten about! So we didn’t even get to experience the fun. Plus our henna tattoos that we paid $50 for were ruined several times because of being bumped into. They did redo it twice but just took it off after the 3x. So now our $50 is down the drain as well because it looks a week old since being taken off earlier than recommended. Just a complete disappointment and in disgust.

Every guest in the party was pleased! It was a beautiful weekend beach wedding and this was the perfect hangout spot afterwards! Food was fast, hot, abundant and delish! Best DJ who kept the party going! We’ll be back!

Great location, right on the beach. The staff here was exceptional; from the hostess to our server - everyone was very polite and professional. The food was great, and there was a lot of families at this place. It has great decor and is real touristy, but it was exactly what we were looking for, easily earning a 5-star rating, which I don't easily give. I look forward to returning. Don’t get me wrong this is a fine place it’s not terrible but this one particular time people started being rude So first off when we went to the gift shop People were following me around it was kinda creepy Second this one girl there tried to get in my business and tell me that something wouldn’t fit me when I was clearly not shopping for myself and it made me think that she thought I was mentally retardad and didn’t know what I could wear obviously I know what I wear and it’s not her business what I buy and at this time my dad was with me and he also got almost ran over by Multiple of the employees Then after that one employee talked to us the security guard started following us around and I get I looked like I needed help but it was only because I was looking at the little kids stuff witch isn’t their business I know it’s their job to ask if we need help but it wasn’t in the nice way it was really rude And I’m sorry this place was nicer the last time I was here and I’m sorry but I may not come back unless if things change Other than those things this is a somewhat nice place and I would recommend their food though

If you are in Gulf Shores AL this place is a must. If you are looking for a quite romantic dinner then this is not the place. If you are looking for great food, fun family environment, friendly and helpful staff then this is the place for you. I got the sea food boil and it was fantastic! My wife got the Snow Crab and it was also fantastic. The kids loved the huge fan, decorations, and everyone loved the view of the beach. The price was reasonable for the quality and amount of food we received. The waitress gave the kids little toy sharks and they loved her. There is really no negative to this place as long as you know that its an interactive experience. Once again I could not praise the staff here. They deserve all the credit because their work shows in the product they serve to the customer.

The atmosphere was fun, DJ was great. The food was ok. pricey. Beautiful view of the beach. We were told you could not substitute any items in your meal. Which was also a bummer, as we have medical conditions that do not allow us to eat certain things so we actually needed to substitute those items with different ones.. we told the waitress and thats when we were informed of the no substitute rule , which totally stinks especially for as much as the meals cost. But you could add items to the meal, for an additional cost. So a lot of our food just went to waste.

The hangout is a great place for adults and kids with amazing food, live bands and even a foam party ever hour for the kids to play in. We were very impressed with the polite service and the accommodations we received for our party of 20 and they had a table ready for us in about 15 minutes. Do yourself a favor and go out to eat at least one night at the hangout you won't regret it.

They screwed up my credit card purchase, gave me zero compensation, and their cocktails are $10/piece. It's a rip-off and not worth your time. I guess if you love seafood then it's probably great but don't waste your money on the "Alabama Wagyu" as it is literally equivalent to a Five Guys burger...

I don't normally eat burger in a restaurant, but decided to try the Alabama Wagyu burger, and it was tender, juicy and delicious. The service were fast and the view were awesome overlooking at the beach. Highly recommended...

Great atmosphere for beach time. Good Family fun. They have a pretty vast menu with lots of choices. You will find a good choice of appetizers at prices you expect to pay at a beach restaurant. There’s a gift shop which you can take a look at the video and photos and see my five-year-old could not resist. Let me tell my wife put my wife in that too she couldn’t resist either.

This place is so much fun! The food is not up to par for what they charge and the timing of the food coming out was poor. We had 9 in our party which is pretty average down there. 2 people in our group would get their meals and then 5-10 minutes later 2 more people would get their food. The appetizer of hummus and tuna dip was not very good, store bought hummus and tuna dip from Blalock seafood market is so much better. Hope they make some changes.

Had a really good time and the kids loved it. We went a little later in the evening, close to 9:00 and the staff did a great job. There are games outside and some spots for cool photo ops. The decor is cool and the food was great.

As the name says, it’s a hangout place. Huge place for big parties and outdoor entertainment such as ping pong tables, foam and bubble stations for kids and the live band was all part of the entertainment here at the Hangout. People standing on tables and dancing from kids, parents to grandparents is how they party here. The food is decent and overall friendly service. You want a dinner and a show, come to the Hangout and enjoy the atmosphere. Enjoy my foodie connoisseurs.

Fun place to take the kids! Foam party every hour! Underground tunnel through the sand, Foosball, DJ activities, birthday celebrations, etc. My only thought is the food is not the best quality and it is very expensive for what it is but this is an extremely large restaurant so they have to move the families through very fast. Cute gift shop! We will go back but not for the food.

A little disappointed. The atmosphere was great and very family friendly. We arrived and we were told the wait was 1-1.5 hours. It turned out to be a little over 2 hours. Once we got in, and we’re ordering, we find out you can’t sub the side dishes. So be aware, if you don’t want fries, you have to pay an additional $5 for an average side and you still must take the fries. That’s a little annoying when there are other side options on the menu. The wait staff was running around with their heads cut off! I don’t know if that is a daily occurrence, but they needed more wait staff to serve tables. Then, after over 3.5 hours, we got the bill and forgot to give them the $20 parking voucher. Luckily we remembered before closing out the bill but it would be nice to be reminded since they force everyone to pay $20 to park in their lot. Overall, great atmosphere, food was just ok, but service was not what I expected. The Hangout is definitely an event, don’t plan on a quick dinner, it’s an all night affair and you are entertained the whole night.

A true vacation atmosphere. Girlfriend had the crab legs and said they were amazing. I had a burger (not a seafood person). Burger was decent. But that's what I would expect from a seafood restaurant. Overall a great experience.

The Hangout's open concept with kids entertainment and plenty of space to run and play will make it an appealing option during your visit to Gulf Shores. There are sandy areas, a foam pit, and limited carnival style games for kids to keep themselves occupied. For the adults they have an adequate selection of adult beverages, including many house frozen concoctions. As you might expect the drinks are very pricey. Ordering 2 drinks plus tip will be a 20 spot minimum, probably more if they are both cocktails. During peak hours, The Hangout is PACKED. Our party was forced to park in an alternate lot that cost 20 bucks. They in turn give you a $20 voucher that can be used as credit during your visit. If you plan to eat dinner at The Hangout plan on a very very VERY long wait, particularly for larger parties. 2-3 hour waits are likely. Our entire party wound up leaving before our tables were ever ready after having been there over 2 hours. In short, if you want to hang out for a bit to let the kids play, The Hangout is probably a solid option. If you want to be able to eat this century and not spend your vacation fund paying for alcohol you may wish to look elsewhere.

A very fun place to go as a family. It helps to keep kids entertained while waiting for a table and waiting for the food. The service was not as great as we've had at other places. The food was mediocre. I guess the entertainment makes up for the quality of food/service. I like how they set their parking price so high to make sure it is only The Hangout patrons parking there. The price of parking is then deducted from your food/extras entertainment while at The Hangout. It is a great concept and we will be back!!

My son had been to the area a few years ago and told us about how much he liked The Hangout. We had to try it out and we had a great time. The food was good, our server was adorable (Alicia) the atmosphere was really fun. There was a band playing, kids were having fun and everyone seemed relaxed and happy. We will be back next time we are in that part of the world :)

The parking is a nightmare plus the fee is a joke. They said 30 to 45 minute wait. We waited that long in the line to be put on the wait list. Then an additional hour. While waiting they want to charge you to kill time in any way possible with bounce things, snacks, hair wraps, and so on. Single child= is doable but with 4 kids you can easily waste an easy 200 bucks or more. We requested gulf seating and just got seating right next to the band. The band was great, but with our young kids we didn't want all the added noise and left. So wasted 10 bucks, a lot of parking frustration with getting through traffic across the street, over 2 hours of our time and left hungry. More of a bar scene than a family restaurant.

This place is so much fun! The food is not up to par for what they charge and the timing of the food coming out was poor. We had 9 in our party which is pretty average down there. 2 people in our group would get their meals and then 5-10 minutes later 2 more people would get their food. The appetizer of hummus and tuna dip was not very good, store bought hummus and tuna dip from Blalock seafood market is so much better. Hope they make some changes.

As the name says, it’s a hangout place. Huge place for big parties and outdoor entertainment such as ping pong tables, foam and bubble stations for kids and the live band was all part of the entertainment here at the Hangout. People standing on tables and dancing from kids, parents to grandparents is how they party here. The food is decent and overall friendly service. You want a dinner and a show, come to the Hangout and enjoy the atmosphere. Enjoy my foodie connoisseurs.

Fun place to take the kids! Foam party every hour! Underground tunnel through the sand, Foosball, DJ activities, birthday celebrations, etc. My only thought is the food is not the best quality and it is very expensive for what it is but this is an extremely large restaurant so they have to move the families through very fast. Cute gift shop! We will go back but not for the food.

A little disappointed. The atmosphere was great and very family friendly. We arrived and we were told the wait was 1-1.5 hours. It turned out to be a little over 2 hours. Once we got in, and we’re ordering, we find out you can’t sub the side dishes. So be aware, if you don’t want fries, you have to pay an additional $5 for an average side and you still must take the fries. That’s a little annoying when there are other side options on the menu. The wait staff was running around with their heads cut off! I don’t know if that is a daily occurrence, but they needed more wait staff to serve tables. Then, after over 3.5 hours, we got the bill and forgot to give them the $20 parking voucher. Luckily we remembered before closing out the bill but it would be nice to be reminded since they force everyone to pay $20 to park in their lot. Overall, great atmosphere, food was just ok, but service was not what I expected. The Hangout is definitely an event, don’t plan on a quick dinner, it’s an all night affair and you are entertained the whole night.

The Hangout's open concept with kids entertainment and plenty of space to run and play will make it an appealing option during your visit to Gulf Shores. There are sandy areas, a foam pit, and limited carnival style games for kids to keep themselves occupied. For the adults they have an adequate selection of adult beverages, including many house frozen concoctions. As you might expect the drinks are very pricey. Ordering 2 drinks plus tip will be a 20 spot minimum, probably more if they are both cocktails. During peak hours, The Hangout is PACKED. Our party was forced to park in an alternate lot that cost 20 bucks. They in turn give you a $20 voucher that can be used as credit during your visit. If you plan to eat dinner at The Hangout plan on a very very VERY long wait, particularly for larger parties. 2-3 hour waits are likely. Our entire party wound up leaving before our tables were ever ready after having been there over 2 hours. In short, if you want to hang out for a bit to let the kids play, The Hangout is probably a solid option. If you want to be able to eat this century and not spend your vacation fund paying for alcohol you may wish to look elsewhere.

A very fun place to go as a family. It helps to keep kids entertained while waiting for a table and waiting for the food. The service was not as great as we've had at other places. The food was mediocre. I guess the entertainment makes up for the quality of food/service. I like how they set their parking price so high to make sure it is only The Hangout patrons parking there. The price of parking is then deducted from your food/extras entertainment while at The Hangout. It is a great concept and we will be back!!

The Hangout amazingly cool place to visit with kids and family. We got we got there at 10 am, at the end of The Princess and Pirate Breakfast. as soon as we sat down we were greeted by a pirate character giving the kids pirate clothing to wear, it was so much fun. This was followed by a pirate show with singing and dancing as well as well as audience participation. The breakfast consist overlarge plate full of scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausages and biscuits. You can order pancakes and other things as side orders. The food is quite tasty and all wait staff we met were helpful and friendly. However the best part of my visit was the foam party outside for kids and adults.

We loved the DJ going around and stopping every so often to get everyone involved in dancing and fun. My kids thought it was hysterical we stood on the tables to dance! Food was good and arrived quick. Our server was helpful and working hard. The bathrooms were clean. We went back for the pirate and princess breakfast. My fish tacos were excellent and the fried pickles were perfection. Restaurant has a play area for kids and a stage for live music in the evenings. Booths for pictures, hair wraps, etc.

Sorely disappointed - On our summer vacation, my family and I were super-excited to get back to The Hangout, to where we had been three years earlier and had a great experience. While the atmosphere and staff were wonderful, the food was no match. This place was really great for families. We had a large party and went during the early afternoon on a Thursday and were seated right away. Food was pretty good and came out quickly. It seems like a family friendly place because there was a kids area for kids to play in the sand, foam area, and numerous games through out the area. The live music was fun, but nothing over the top. Presented as a "Burger" but so many layers it would be virtually impossible to eat in the traditional burger method...fried pickles on it very tasty. The catch of the day sandwich was delicious. Our server Karl was great. But honestly we were not impressed with our overall dining/food experience, unfortunately. The open atmosphere was neat and we sat with an open view to the beach. The speakers of the game were blaring loud and some guy would interrupt with some trivia questions, also annoyingly loud. The menu is a little steep on the $$. We were very hopeful with all the other amazing reviews and recommendations to come ‘hangout’. Sad to say we left a little disappointed and feeing sick. I Suppose we could have caught the kitchen on a bad day.

Good vibes but food is awful. EDIT- my family decided to give it another try after eating food from here that was cold, dry, and stale, but we figured let’s give it another try! The first two things my brother tried to order from the menu the waitress said they didn’t have and when I got my burger it was not cooked all the way and I had to throw the rest out. My father ordered a fried fish sandwich and they brought him a grilled one, when he told the waitress that it was supposed to me fried she said “nope, he told me grilled”. So we just gave up and vowed not to go back. Drinks are good and environment fun for kids but the food could seriously get you sick

The service was good. I'm usually not too critical of places, but the fish tacos had very little fish. They give you huge tortillas to fit tons of cabbage. Other than that, the flavor was good.

It has a lot of things to do there, but something about it felt off. It seems like a family friendly place because there was a kids area for kids to play in the sand, foam area, and numerous games through out the area. The live music was fun, but nothing over the top. And drinks were fairly expensive, but they tasted great, so I guess you get for what you pay for. I would recommend to others!

We came for lunch. Wasn't any live music during our time there. Foam party is a hit with kids. The food was well prepared with orginal food choices such as the lifeguard... Presented as a "Burger" but so many layers it would be virtually impossible to eat in the traditional burger method...fried pickles on it very tasty. The catch of the day sandwich was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive..

Our server Karl was great. But honestly we were not impressed with our overall dining/food experience, unfortunately. The open atmosphere was neat and we sat with an open view to the beach. The speakers of the game were blaring loud and some guy would interrupt with some trivia questions, also annoyingly loud. The menu is a little steep on the $$. We were very hopeful with all the other amazing reviews and recommendations to come ‘hangout’. Sad to say we left a little disappointed and feeing sick. I Suppose we could have caught the kitchen on a bad day.

Good vibes but food is awful. EDIT- my family decided to give it another try after eating food from here that was cold, dry, and stale, but we figured let’s give it another try! The first two things my brother tried to order from the menu the waitress said they didn’t have and when I got my burger it was not cooked all the way and I had to throw the rest out. My father ordered a fried fish sandwich and they brought him a grilled one, when he told the waitress that it was supposed to me fried she said “nope, he told me grilled”. So we just gave up and vowed not to go back. Drinks are good and environment fun for kids but the food could seriously get you sick

As an owner of a business, this is a well run machine. My wait for a table was an hour 45 and I was perfectly content listening to the band, having a couple of drinks and watching my kids play in the sand and bubble machine. The food was good, service was nice and the atmosphere was fun! The ONE THING that impressed me was how clean the bathroom was. As busy as this place is, the women's room was immaculate!

Great family environment and good food. Only had a 20 minute wait at 6pm (monday). During the wait, my kids played in the foam party that happens every hour on the hour and they had a blast. I've been to The Hangout twice. First time was a couple of years ago for lunch. Food and drinks were great. Good service and lots of fun. This year (2019) we went to the music festival they hosted, called Hangout. We had the best time! Highly recommend going and we definitely want to try to make it back. The Hangout is a must go destination while you are in the area.

The restaurant portion has good food and activities for kids include bungee cord trampolines, outdoor recreational equipment, and foosball. That being said, the location is a prime reason to enjoy this attraction. The hangout is right off the beach so if you find yourself within walking distance, swing by.

This is hands down the best place for your family, if you don't smile here check your pulse. So many things to do and see, it's great. How can you beat dancing on your table in front of people you'll never see again. Full menu, many things for everyone. Also you must try the pirates and princesses breakfast, it's all you can eat, you'll be so full you may not need to eat lunch. Gift shops has so many cool shirts it's hard to decide or you might end up with 3 or 4 shirts. Be sure to bring 20 bucks for parking but you'll get that credit on your dinner or gift shop purchase for that 20. This is another of my must visits during our gulf vacation. Thank you Hangout

The atmosphere is very cool! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The huge fans keep a constant breeze throughout the restaurant making it a comfortable temperature even on the hottest of days. Visited Gulf Shores this past week, and happened to see this place across from the Surf Style store. Glad I went here! This place was phenomenal!!!! I had the chicken nachos for an appetizer and the seafood tower for the entree. Let me start by saying the appetizer was so large that I couldn't finish it and the seafood tower was enormous! Most places say it's big but, bring it out and it's a few seafood items in a small bowl. Our server Jaime was very hospitable and frequently came by to make sure everything was ok. The outside area was a great place for kids to play as well as adults. The view from the patio is a dream. All in all I highly recommend this place if you're visiting this town.

My wife and I recently got married, and she has never been to The Hangout. From the hostess stand, to our wonderful waitress, and the amazing people skills from the DJ, interacting with the entire crowd, this place always provides top notch and first class service. We wanted to thank The Hangout for allowing me and my wife, and my parents, to spend one final evening, and to be leaving Alabama, with a bang. At one point we even had our 1st dance (which my mom planned for us) in the middle of the restaurant and many people watching. This couldn’t have been a better way to end such a perfect vacation but to also celebrate many and great years with my wife, and also to be able to return to The Hangout in the future. They had three bars open to check out during our short wait for a table and a live band playing a wide mix of popular music. All of the staff was super friendly and made our visit here great. We had a teen birthday party at the hangout yesterday. I tried to make a reservation ahead of time but the phone system was not working. I reported this to Ron and he said it would be fixed ASAP. I called this morning just to check and it is! Ron and our waitress Brittany took amazing care of us. Ron even put the cake in the fridge for us till it was time to sing. The girls had a great time! They played ping pong, had fun in bubbles and loved the music. When the music started they even line danced a bit. The DJ made a fuss of the birthday girl. It was perfect! It’s a family friendly place so we didn’t have to worry about music being inappropriate. Our food came out perfect and Brittany was adorable, attentive & professional! We all loved it! Thanks! I enjoyed this place! The vibe is super chill and it’s very open to the sea and sand! The decorations are very unique. My family got some burgers, I got the fish and chips, and some wings. All were fabulous! We had a lovely server named Kayla!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars. I really do. This place is really really cool. But the prices for everything are crazy. $10 for a simple mixed drink that comes in a small solo cup. We were going to eat there, but those prices were crazy. Entertainment wise, it is a really fun place to visit. A lot going on, and the location is great. I do wish they had more than 1 broken ping pong table, and 2 foosball tables for people to enjoy. Never even got a chance on any one of those.

We had been before so we knew what to expect. We took my granddaughter Saturday 7/20/19 and she had a blast. Our waitress could not have been sweeter and took very good care of us. The 3 star review was for the servers and kitchen. For these the left hand had no clue what the right hand was doing. One of our party was finished eating before the rest of us got our food. The three burgers we ordered were so burned that they crunched when you tried to eat them. Should have been thrown out. Wings were very cold. Party of five, we don't drink, over 165 dollars. Food should have been much better.

We come here every time on vacation, but this time was different. The menu appeared to have shrunk, and it just wasn't the same vibe. They've modernized it, and it changed everything. The food was good, but its typical of most places. The prices are reasonable as well. It's right on the beach which is nice. If you've never been I would say at least go once. The only reason I would go back was because of our waitress she was hilarious and had such a great attitude!

Our family visited here while on vacation because of all of the reviews. We loved it there. Nice spot to spend dinner and entertainment afterwards. They have music each night. Foam party each hour on the hour (not just for kids, it was so much fun!) The resteraunt part has dinner show having moms and dads get on the tables and dance. Super great time. Snow cones and ice cream outside for kids. Drinks for parents. Very cool place. My only complaint was my chicken wings were cold when they came out sadly. No other issues though.

The "go too" place in Gulf Shores. Plenty of things to see, do, and be a part of. The food is great but kinda pricey, even a small party of four can easily rack up a bill of over 100.00. If you've got the cash, have fun. But if your budget conscious, go to take pictures and browse the gift shop and outside activities. A very loud and relaxed atmosphere, and service is spectacular. Waiters and waitresses are always super nice and helpful. Would be five stars for my opinion if not for the price of food, burgers and such shouldn't be 15 dollars or more for what you can get half the price and same quality locally.

First and LAST time we will go there. The place gets 1 star for the simple purpose that it has plenty of things to do to keep your kids busy while you wait 2 hrs for what at best can be called mediocre food. To start off it was at least 20 min before we got our drink orders taken then another 10-15 to get some waters. Second the food is overpriced for the quality. Third, we waited at least an hour after we ordered our food before it got to the table, well part of it. 3 meals were not brought till we said something. Lastly the waiter never once apologized for the lengthy wait. Horrible place, please don’t waste your time or money.

WE had a fairly nice meal here.As the wait time was about 1 1/2 hrs after being told 30 min when we checked in .Appetizers arrived after our meal had already been served.1 hr after ordering thank goodness for other activities outside or with all 5 children would have been unbearable.When they gave me the bill i immediately put cash into it and waited for change for over 30 min the server just disappeared,until my wife spotted him and I confronted him and he claimed that he thought the $40 change that was due was his tip . I would advise use a credit card as the wait staff assumes way too much.

The hostess went to seat us and the manager ran out to inform us the kitchen is closed! Nicki believe was his name!! I wonder how the owner would feel? The rating doesn’t allow for ZERO stars therefore they get one by default only. Horrible horrible horrible that 40 mins prior to closing they can’t serve two guest! Will NOT go back due to that ridiculous situation.

Fun and interactive atmosphere. Food was delicious, better than we expected. We had the fish tacos and crab cakes to share for two. Our food and overall experience was excellent. They had three bars open to check out during our short wait for a table and a live band playing a wide mix of popular music. All of the staff was super friendly and made our visit here great. We will definitely come back on our next visit to gulf shores.

I enjoyed this place! The vibe is super chill and it’s very open to the sea and sand! The decorations are very unique. My family got some burgers, I got the fish and chips, and some wings. All were fabulous! We had a lovely server named Kayla!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars. I really do. This place is really really cool. But the prices for everything are crazy. $10 for a simple mixed drink that comes in a small solo cup. We were going to eat there, but those prices were crazy. Entertainment wise, it is a really fun place to visit. A lot going on, and the location is great. I do wish they had more than 1 broken ping pong table, and 2 foosball tables for people to enjoy. Never even got a chance on any one of those.

Went to the pirates and princesses breakfast. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone with kids age 3-8. The service was great. Price was appropriate. The show was appropriately corny. Overall pretty good experience.

We had been before so we knew what to expect. We took my granddaughter Saturday 7/20/19 and she had a blast. Our waitress could not have been sweeter and took very good care of us. The 3 star review was for the servers and kitchen. For these the left hand had no clue what the right hand was doing. One of our party was finished eating before the rest of us got our food. The three burgers we ordered were so burned that they crunched when you tried to eat them. Should have been thrown out. Wings were very cold. Party of five, we don't drink, over 165 dollars. Food should have been much better.

Took my 5 yo son, he had a blast. Food is servered family style and is great. Several different playgrounds. Service was amazing. It is catered to families with children. Only downside, music was a little loud, had to ask family members to repeat things a few times. Overall great :)

Great place for everyone! Excellent place to take kids during they day and great late night crowd as well! Several activities going on all the time and it is never a disappointment. Try the shaka shrimp!

This is a really fun place to eat! It is different, and fun for people of all ages! They do so many fun activities for the kids and adults and have so many other activities outside such as ping pong, a sand pit, and much much more to keep you and the whole family entertained for hours and hours! And don’t even get me started on the food! I ate it all in about 5 minutes flat! I LOVE The Hangout!

Great beach atmosphere & good food! Restaurant parking $20 a vehicle but it goes towards your bill. Definitely pay the twenty instead of public parking.

Our family visited here while on vacation because of all of the reviews. We loved it there. Nice spot to spend dinner and entertainment afterwards. They have music each night. Foam party each hour on the hour (not just for kids, it was so much fun!) The resteraunt part has dinner show having moms and dads get on the tables and dance. Super great time. Snow cones and ice cream outside for kids. Drinks for parents. Very cool place. My only complaint was my chicken wings were cold when they came out sadly. No other issues though.

Must be on your list if you are in this area! Something for everyone and age here. Beautifully redone recently. The waygu hamburger was one of the best burgers I have had! A lot of eye candy and that breeze from the ocean? What more do you need??

This place is amazing! Food is terrific and very reasonably priced. I recommend getting the lobster, not a bad price and a very good taste. This is very family friendly and you can wear all your beach attire!

The "go too" place in Gulf Shores. Plenty of things to see, do, and be a part of. The food is great but kinda pricey, even a small party of four can easily rack up a bill of over 100.00. If you've got the cash, have fun. But if your budget conscious, go to take pictures and browse the gift shop and outside activities. A very loud and relaxed atmosphere, and service is spectacular. Waiters and waitresses are always super nice and helpful. Would be five stars for my opinion if not for the price of food, burgers and such shouldn't be 15 dollars or more for what you can get half the price and same quality locally.

Super fun for families or large groups. Very touristy! Beautiful, bright location with foam parties for kids every hour from 1 - 6 pm every day. Cocktails are pricey and small, but the food and service was outstanding. Worth the hype. Go at least once, your kids will thank you.

Not the greatest food, cool atmosphere, was a go to every year on Sunday previous years but now no longer offer the Sunday ticket for football games, so you only get local games. Kinda crazy for a sports bar type place.

This place is so awesome with a lot of things to do. They have a live band every day during the summer time, it's fun to make a wish for the wishing wall, they have games and a big foam party! Get there early though since it does get really packed with people.

WE had a fairly nice meal here.As the wait time was about 1 1/2 hrs after being told 30 min when we checked in .Appetizers arrived after our meal had already been served.1 hr after ordering thank goodness for other activities outside or with all 5 children would have been unbearable.When they gave me the bill i immediately put cash into it and waited for change for over 30 min the server just disappeared,until my wife spotted him and I confronted him and he claimed that he thought the $40 change that was due was his tip . I would advise use a credit card as the wait staff assumes way too much.

Food was expensive for what what you got....one little crab cake for $12. Drinks are small for $10. A lot of hype but I wasn't impressed. not really that much to do. The foam is free. $10 for a 3 minute bungee trampoline...and yes they time it. The staff was okay...not overly friendly or very helpful.

I loved it there. I played in bubbles, sand, ran through a tunnel, and it is extremely more fun at night. I made friends while there. Too bad I'll never see them again though :( they were great people. A girl name Kaya or Kayla (I'm sorry, I don't remember which) a girl named Phoenix, a boy named Preston, (Kaya/Kayla's brother) and some other boy. (I don't know his name) To put it short, it was one of the best days of my life
